We had the opportunity to spend last weekend here for my birthday...with my family. The property is beautiful, warm, excellent food, welcoming rooms, and an enchanting location. Giovanna and her staff are wonderful people, kind and helpful. It felt like family. We had a wonderful time and plan to return.
Congratulations to this beautiful hotel in the heart of the Sila... typical Calabrian cuisine, a charming place worth visiting... We'll definitely be back.
Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. We stayed for 5 days and everything was perfect. Top service!! Sara, Ferruccio, and Roberto make you feel right at home!! 🫶🏻 Everything very clean, except for small details. TOP!!!!!
Let yourself be won over by the excellence of the Granaro Parco Hotel, an oasis of taste and culture just steps from Taverna, in the heart of the Sila. Here, courtesy and professionalism blend with a unique atmosphere: breathe in the art in the welcoming dining rooms, where futurist paintings create a stimulating backdrop, before immersing yourself in the lush nature offered by the Sila trails. But it's in the kitchen that the experience reaches its pinnacle. Under the expert guidance of Signora Natascia, every meal is a journey into the most authentic and refined Calabrian culinary tradition. Her dishes are true delicacies from ancient times, masterfully showcasing the treasures of the region, from the intense aromas of Sila mushrooms to the bold flavors of the finest local produce. Her dedication ensures a level of flavor that satisfies the most discerning palates. Completing this picture of perfection is Signora Sara's radiant presence. With a warm welcome and impeccable professionalism, Sara takes care of every single request, addressing even the most challenging and specific dietary needs with grace and expertise. Whether it's allergies, intolerances, or specific preferences, guests feel pampered and understood. She curates the wine selection, from the most refined to the finest local products, ensuring the perfect pairing to enhance the flavors created by Natascia. The Granaro Parco Hotel is more than just a stay: it's a destination for the soul and the palate, where meticulous service transforms a meal into an unforgettable memory. Another special feature is the variety of desserts, which is hard to find in a Calabrian restaurant.
Parco Hotel Granaro is much more than just a hotel...it's a truly 360° experience. From the first moment, you feel completely immersed in nature, but with a unique added value: the presence of art and culture that makes your stay unforgettable. The setting is perfect for those seeking an opportunity to reconnect with nature and, at the same time, with themselves. The tranquility and beauty of the place allow you to completely disconnect from routine and regenerate. Our experience was made even more special by the cabin we stayed in, which I would describe as simply exceptional. Every detail was taken care of to perfection, making the stay not only comfortable but also magical. And what about the food? Wonderful! Furthermore, Giovanna and her husband are attentive, professional, and meticulous owners. Every request is fulfilled! A top-notch experience that I recommend to everyone!
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! The full board was excellent, with delicious food and impeccable service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Sara, who was always sweet and ready to accommodate our every request. A special thanks also to Maria for the attention and care she gave our children. Access to the park's activities was a real plus; we were able to enjoy moments of relaxation and fun in a wonderful natural setting. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, quality place. Kudos to the staff for their hard work! We'll definitely be back!
Parco Hotel Granaro was a wonderful discovery, a gem, and I absolutely recommend exploring and staying there. The hotel is welcoming, quiet, and surrounded by the Sila forest, as well as by a wealth of contemporary art thanks to the MABOS Museum. Excellent service, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Even though I'm gluten and lactose intolerant, the kitchen has always produced delicious, high-quality dishes.
Parco Hotel Granaro is a true hidden gem in the heart of Sila Piccola, a place that welcomes you and makes you feel instantly at home. If you're looking for a natural escape from everyday life, this is the place for you. The hotel, with its warm and welcoming mountain style, blends perfectly into the surrounding landscape. As soon as you arrive, the atmosphere of peace and serenity is palpable, thanks also to the lush greenery surrounding the property. But what makes the experience even more special is the welcome reserved for our four-legged friends: the hotel accepts dogs with rare warmth and friendliness, making the holiday perfect for our furry companions too. Breakfast is an experience not to be missed. Every morning you can enjoy fresh, authentic products that tell the story and tradition of this land. There's no shortage of opportunities to have fun and discover the beauty of the area. The hotel is strategically located for reaching several attractions: the adventure park is practically next door, offering fun for adults and children alike, while just a few kilometers away is the charming Villaggio Mancuso, another gem worth exploring.
An oasis of peace and adventure in the heart of Sila If you're looking for a place to recharge and reconnect with nature, Parco Hotel Granaro is the perfect choice. From the first moment (I've been coming to this hotel in August for five years), we were welcomed by incredibly hospitable, helpful, and friendly staff, who immediately made us feel at home. The property blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, offering enchanting views at any time of day. The rooms are the ideal refuge after a day outdoors: comfortable, clean, and tastefully furnished, they guarantee a restful sleep. And speaking of active days, there's no shortage of options! Guided excursions are available to discover hidden corners and the authentic beauty of Sila National Park. The poetic walk was a real treat, an exciting and unique experience. For the more adventurous, the well-equipped adventure park offers adrenaline and fun for all ages. Finally, we can't fail to mention the cuisine: a true highlight. Every meal is a journey through the flavors of the region, with exquisite, carefully prepared dishes that satisfy even the most discerning palates. Parco Hotel Granaro is more than just a hotel, it's an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a rejuvenating stay in an enchanting location, where the beauty of nature blends with impeccable service.
This year, my wife, a couple of friends, and I returned to this beautiful and relaxing location. What can I say? The staff was, as always, welcoming and helpful, especially Giovanna and Mario, the owners. Not to mention chef Natascia, who treated us to her delicious dishes and catered to all our needs. And again, thanks to the friendly waiters Roberto and Ferruccio. We'll be back again.
A fantastic initiative that combines hospitality, art, food, and adventure. A unique place that you must check out if you are in the Sila. Special note for the MABOS, the museum in the woods, and all the artistic vibe that surrounds the place. Really special.
Everything was just great! Excellent service, stuff, food and location! Huge thank you for the owners helping us and directing to buy local products. Was a perfect family experience knowing this place and main attractions. Highly suggested!
Very nice people at this place, they make you feel welcome and relaxed.

We spent a short three-day family vacation at the **Parco Hotel Granaro**. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation, made even more enjoyable by the helpful staff, the clean rooms, and a delicious breakfast featuring traditional Sila cured meats and cheeses. A special mention goes to the **Alberolandia** adventure park: a truly well-organized facility, ideal for spending pleasant hours immersed in the woods. The courses are designed to engage both adults and children, allowing everyone to gradually challenge themselves, overcoming their fears and discovering new limits. We recommend this experience to everyone. It was a real shame we couldn't visit the museum's courses due to the rain and limited time. **Suggestions for the facility:** * Improve the wardrobes in the rooms, which are currently too basic (just a dresser and four hangers). * Improve the bar service, with prices and a drink list displayed. * During breakfast, it would be helpful to describe the products available on the table, also out of respect for those with food intolerances or allergies. In conclusion, we recommend everyone to visit this beautiful natural setting, ideal for a relaxing and fun holiday.
This is like an Italian version of Go Ape. Costs about 18 euros I think which I initially thought was pricey but in the end it is a very extensive, well maintained trail and took a long time. Instructors very helpful but then he had a lot of time as was not busy. There are different trails for different ages. Be aware that the adult trail gets difficult and tiring toward the end
We've been coming to Parco Hotel Granarò for 5 years. It's excellent, suitable for adults and children alike. 😄 A place where you can immerse yourself in nature and escape the chaos of the city. Mrs. Giovanna, Mr. Mario, and Matteo welcomed us with great affection. The staff is excellent. My children adore Roberto and Ferruccio. 🥰, as are the other helpful staff. The only downside is when you leave. 🥲 I recommend it to everyone. Hugs from Catania. 😘
I'd like to start by saying that I recommend everyone to stay here, a place immersed in nature like few others in Italy. So it could be a 5/5, but there are some things that need to be improved. Positive aspects. Beautiful location, nestled in the woods and dotted with various activities for adults and children (the idea of creating an open-air museum in the woods is very interesting!!). The cabin is spacious and, of course, extremely quiet! The staff is very friendly and willing to tell you about the area and offer suggestions on what to visit! The owner was also very helpful and allowed us to reduce our reservation from two nights to one at no cost, thank you very much!! Unfortunately, negative aspects. The cabin wasn't very clean and had some cobwebs, even in places where they aren't usually found (like the bathroom lights and mirror). The girl who greeted us at reception was cold, almost as if she resented our asking questions (I was personally scolded for coming in after waiting 20 minutes outside when the floor was still wet; there were other people and hotel staff inside, but I was the only one who got a scolding). Breakfast was a bit poor, with food already laid out on the table. The food was good, and some was obviously homemade, but we weren't told if we could have something savory or something more than what was already on the table (the presence at the bar of the girl who had scolded me the day before for stepping into the wet, I admit, made me give up on asking if we could order anything else). In conclusion, I recommend this establishment and hope these lines will help highlight some details that, unfortunately, given the uniqueness of the location, are more noticeable than elsewhere.
I've never met anyone so rude and ill-mannered. Apparently, he's also the son of one of the owners. When I paid in cash, this "Mr." Matteo gave me 10 euros in change, all in coins. I asked if it was possible to have a single 10-euro note. His prompt and rude response was: "If you don't want the coins, leave them as a tip." It reflects his rudeness...that's fine, I won't set foot in this place again.
An absolutely terrifying stay, in every way. From the moment we arrived, we had problems: we had requested a refrigerator in the room well in advance to store some medications, but upon our arrival, not only was it missing, but the one initially provided also appeared to be out of order. When we reported it, the response we received was disconcerting: "Well, it worked in the other room, what can I say?" Luckily, a technician arrived. At the reception, the owner simply shouted at everyone. No one showed us around or asked if we needed help with our luggage, given the lack of an elevator. Insufficient cleanliness, both in the room and in the common areas. During breakfast, we were faced with tables and chairs covered in crumbs, dirty and encrusted plates (even with jam residue), and placemats that had clearly been neglected for who knows how long. The buffet lacked any information about ingredients or allergens, information that is required by law. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and inattentive; we had to repeat the order 10 times for two coffees, one cappuccino, and one tea. The property is poorly maintained, with neglected details everywhere: even the balcony lights didn't work, likely never replaced since they were first turned on. But the worst came at checkout. Despite a reservation made three months in advance by phone (as witnessed by my family) and confirmed in writing on WhatsApp by the owner (as shown in the screenshot), we were challenged on the agreed-upon price. Mrs. Giovanna began aggressively shouting, claiming the price was "per room" when the written message (clear and unequivocal) indicated otherwise. When we demanded that they honor the agreement, she dismissed us by turning to her colleague, saying, "At this point, don't even charge them because this way we're working for free." Once I paid the agreed-upon €300 (€100 deposit and €200 at checkout), after saying we'd leave a review, I received a threatening phone call from the same person, in which—in a loud and intimidating tone—he told me, "I'm not afraid of anything or anyone! If you leave a bad review, with the response I give you, I swear I'll never let you set foot in any hotel in the world again." This was grossly inappropriate, offensive, and completely inappropriate behavior. In summary: Rude and argumentative staff Services not respected Poor cleanliness Intimidating and aggressive behavior I will never stay in a place like this again. Highly discouraged. Only positive note: the gentleman running the sandwich stand across the street was truly kind and helpful.
