The food is high quality, and the waiters are very attentive. What I really liked was the way the recipes are presented, with the last pages of the menu featuring a cookbook-like format that explains the preparation methods and ingredients. My choice leaned more toward the meat and truffle-based menu, but those who were with me who opted for the fish-based dishes also expressed positive opinions. The price is a little high at first glance, but when you consider the service offered and the quality of the ingredients, it becomes clear. Definitely worth returning.

Con Gusto: a pleasant experience with room for growth... Saturday morning, I decided to make a reservation for two at "Con Gusto," a restaurant that immediately introduced itself to me over the phone with courteous and attentive staff, ready to gather all the necessary information for the reservation. This detail suggests a certain level of customer service. Arriving in the evening, I was pleased to note the closed door and the presence of a doorbell at the restaurant's entrance. This detail, though simple, is, in my opinion, a good calling card: it prevents the constant influx of people, maintaining a more intimate and private atmosphere. Inside, the room is small but tastefully furnished, revealing a stylistic signature that fits well with the restaurant's identity. The staff immediately proved attentive and helpful, a welcome that boded well for the rest of the evening. We sat down and were immediately served with water, a welcome appetizer, and an assortment of breadsticks, bread, and focaccia, all rigorously homemade. We opted for an appetizer to share, two first courses, two glasses of Ribolla, and a dessert, also shared. Culinary-wise, the quality of the dishes did not disappoint: well-prepared, refined, and with evidently high-quality ingredients. However, at the end of the evening, a particular feeling emerged. The restaurant seemed to want to emulate a "luxury restaurant" experience, but a few details were still missing to fully achieve the distinctive identity that would make "Con Gusto" an unmissable reference point. It was as if it were in a transitional phase, where the intention was there, but the result needed to be refined. The bill, €94 for the dishes we ordered, was within the norm, although perhaps a slightly lower price (about €10 less) would have made the value for money more balanced. Ultimately, "Con Gusto" is a restaurant that guarantees good cuisine and attentive service, but still has room for improvement to consolidate its identity. A pleasant experience, one that offers a glimpse of potential and future growth.

We took advantage of the half-price promotion to have lunch at this bistro, located in the heart of Cosenza. The atmosphere is charming and elegant, with beautiful walls displaying bottles. The maître d' was friendly and knowledgeable, as were the wait staff. We ordered a selection of cheeses and cured meats for €28, a carbonara 2.0 with Pollino truffle for €18, paccheri with burrata and prosciutto for €18, and picanha for the main course for €25. The Provençal rosé, recommended by the maître d', was excellent. We had a great time.

The quality is there, and it looks very beautiful and well-decorated, very "swanky"... The quality of the products used is there and you can taste it... perhaps sometimes it's killed by overly heavy sauces (like the wine reduction) or by cooking the venison less than perfectly rare, which tends to undermine the product itself... The oils and various types are exceptional, to be enjoyed on good bread from the renowned Cuti bakery... I also liked the various jams, preserves, and honey... and obviously the pairings... What I didn't like was perhaps the price... but quality comes at a price, and here it is, and I recommend it. I reserve the right to raise my rating because I will return to try other things... and perhaps those few pairings or nuances that I didn't particularly like will be corrected... in short, just small sins of youth... but it's still an excellent place of good quality, recommended...
