The cuisine is high-quality, as are its ingredients... Some dishes are very imaginative, and beautifully presented. The bagna cauda is superb; if you want some extra vegetables to dip in, they'll bring them to you with no problem. The gnocchi are excellent, as is the egg on cream and fried artichokes. A good selection of wines is available, and the markups aren't excessive. You have to go to this place; you don't stumble upon it by chance, and the road isn't particularly easy, but the view that unfolds before you is worth it. The room where we had lunch is modern compared to the exterior of the house. It has one major flaw, despite its beauty: it's excessively noisy; people's voices echo everywhere, probably also because of the large window that offers a stunning view. I suggest installing some sound-absorbing panels; it would make a difference. I would make the area around the sofa more attractive, making it a place to go for coffee or a digestif after lunch. The service is overall good.

A charming location with a terrace overlooking the hills. Delicious cured meats and cheeses. I particularly enjoyed the pasta with truffles. I'll definitely be back to try more. I returned years later, and today I enjoyed it even more than the first time. The fried porcini mushrooms were excellent, as was the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. We were truly satisfied!

Sunday lunch in this welcoming restaurant nestled in the Oltrepo Pavese, where you can admire the view of the vineyards while dining on the large glass terrace. Quality food and well-portioned portions, with a special mention for the risotto with crispy pancetta and artichokes. We opted for the €40 menu with one bottle of wine for every two people. The staff was friendly and attentive to their needs. Ample parking to both the left and right of the restaurant. If I was helpful, please leave a like! 👍🏼☺

The food is very good, even if it not completely in agreement with my tastes. The atmosphere is relaxing and in agreement with the past history of the building. The personnel is kind and effective.

A truly beautiful place, attentive and fast service. We ordered the tasting menu plus a parmigiana. The food was average, and didn't leave a lasting impression. The gnocchi were good, but they didn't wow us. The parmigiana was good, but it arrived cold; it would have definitely been better if it had been hot. We didn't like the cappellacci di stracotto. The pasta was good, but the sauce wasn't so good; it was very runny and flavorless, completely unrelated to the pasta. In any case, they were very kind in offering to remake the dish, even though we declined.

My review refers to last summer. Upon arrival, the view was truly splendid, probably the best aspect of the place. However, given the season, it would have been helpful if we had been asked when booking whether we preferred to sit inside or outside: eating on the grass was difficult due to the numerous mosquitoes. As for the rest, the food was disappointing and the service lacking. Furthermore, I find it surprising that on a Saturday evening, even a basic amaro like sambuca was missing. Dessert, despite being told it was being prepared, never arrived. Unfortunately, it was an experience we can't recommend and won't repeat.
