Servizio ottimo e cameriere super gentili. Prezzo proporzionato all'esperienza e al servizio.
Interni molto curati, ottimi colori. Io ho mangiato all’interno, ma c’è anche possibilità di mangiare all’esterno. Ottima carta dei vini. Insomma, tutto eccellente. Consigliato assolutamente
Location sempre molto bella.
A truly special experience at this restaurant, truly deserving of its star. The location is meticulously maintained and welcoming, and the Christmas decorations added that extra touch that made the atmosphere even warmer and more elegant. The service was excellent: the attentive yet discreet staff guided the experience, explaining each dish with great care, professionalism, and a genuine kindness that immediately made you feel at ease. The dishes were a constant surprise. Every bite was a discovery of flavors and aromas, with surprising and perfectly balanced pairings. It was truly fascinating to see how the ingredients interacted so well. We chose the wine pairing for those drinking and the non-alcoholic one for those not drinking: both were delicious. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of kombucha, but my husband really enjoyed it. The dessert and the small pastries were also truly unique, a perfect end to the experience. An experience we hope to repeat soon, perhaps in another season, to see how the menu will evolve and surprise again.
I went for lunch today and had the eight-course tasting menu. The location is very pretty, probably a renovated old house in the valleys, and it really gives the feeling of an intimate moment. Before talking about the menu, I'd like to say a few words about the service: the two ladies in the dining room were wonderful, anticipating every need, punctual but never intrusive, with a smile plastered on their faces and, above all, knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to listen to them discuss both the dishes and the wine. This should be the norm in a restaurant of this caliber, but having been to several, I assure you it's not. To discuss the menu in detail: €140 + €35 for the pairing with three glasses of wine, one of the best value I've experienced. The amuse bouche are very interesting, from the sweetness of the pumpkin to the more intense flavor of the takoyaki and chicken livers, finishing with the mock macaron and the rocher, with a hint of fried herbs (what a frying!). The first two dishes were probably the ones that left me most amazed, perhaps because I had underestimated them: course 0 cream of cauliflower with trout caviar and thyme, an incredible balance, the part on the surface pushes so much with the savory that the cream then dulls (by the way, it almost seemed like a foam with its consistency) and the herb that then finishes off, enhancing all the previous flavors and preparing you for the next bite. The cavolo nero leaf with truffle doesn't seem like a dish with too many pretensions in terms of flavor, but the combination of the bitterness, the truffle on top, and what's under the leaf makes it explode in the mouth and for me deserves the award for best dish on the menu. I'm not a fan of snails as a raw ingredient, but the pairing with the formai de mut and the bitterness of the asparagus is very interesting. The sweetbreads are another dish of the highest quality, cooked and therefore obviously perfectly textured, with an enviable aroma of the grill and maillard. The two first courses were pleasant, but in my opinion, a step behind the appetizers and main courses. The black lemon in the rice was a real highlight, giving it a truly interesting twist. The eel was very smoky, but I personally enjoyed it, with the acidic grapefruit and hazelnut cream keeping it under control very well. I really appreciated the two versions of lamb, including sirloin, paired with tarragon (my opinion: the herb is better than the meat, and not because the meat isn't). On the rolled belly, the herbs tried everything they could but couldn't quite make it. The flavor was very intense, and it should be pleasant because it left the mouth feeling very full and heavy, but the kitchen knows this well, and in fact, the fir granita arrived next, which, besides being delicious, brought the palate back to a completely neutral state. A sugar-free dessert, but very balanced, with a perfect level of sweetness, and a truly remarkable little pastry, with the added punch of the cannoli with whiskey cream. In short: exceptional cuisine, perfect pairings, beautiful location, and impeccable staff. I'll definitely be back to try the other menus, especially the vegetarian one, given the magic the chefs have shown they can work!
A well-maintained location, with original dishes and incredible flavors. Extremely attentive yet discreet service, with very kind and helpful staff. We tried the vegetarian menu and it was a great discovery. Being able to handle top-quality ingredients with such mastery is absolutely worthy of the Michelin star. Congratulations, keep up the good work!
A meal that leaves a lasting impression, without the need for special effects. In this Michelin-starred restaurant, every detail is carefully considered, yet nothing is ostentatious: the dishes surprise with original and successful pairings, with full, harmonious flavors that reflect a cuisine that is technical yet never cold. The option to choose from three tasting menus or to create your own à la carte menu, choosing from the selection, makes for a flexible and always coherent experience. Prices are clear, transparent, and perfectly in line with the stated price: a rarity that is appreciated. The service is impeccable, professional, and courteous, with a subtle touch that makes you feel welcomed without being intrusive. The location is well-maintained and pleasant, with tables on the veranda, a modern dining room, and a smaller room with brick vaults that adds a touch of intimacy. Parking is also very convenient. The wine list is extensive, with interesting and well-selected options. Everything was highly appreciated, from start to finish. A place I recommend without hesitation.
Kindness, courtesy, and attention to every detail. You're greeted with a smile by the wait staff: all highly trained women. Each course highlights the flavors of the ingredients and the chefs' skill in finding delicious and unique pairings. A truly memorable tasting menu of their successes. A truly peaceful setting with just a few tables. A truly wonderful evening.
The restaurant offers a high-end experience in every way: hospitality, service, food, and drinks...and even the bill, if you opt for the lunch break option. The dishes reflect the chefs' meticulous research into showcasing vegetables and meats (even "poor" ones), transforming them into dishes of the highest quality. The pairing wines are perfect and not predictable. Absolutely worth a try (advance reservations are required, even for lunch). Bravo!
Today I had the pleasure of lunch at this restaurant. I'll start by saying it was my first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The place is magnificent; the dining room is very intimate with only a few tables, making it very quiet and peaceful. The food is excellent. I opted for the three-course menu with a savory and sweet dish (a welcome gift is included), a glass of wine, and coffee with a mini pastry for a total of €45. I'll definitely be back. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of all the dishes because I was too eager to try some and forgot.
A wonderful discovery for a Michelin-starred gourmet lunch. We tried the business lunch option, which on certain days allows you to sample highly refined dishes at a reasonable price. Everything was carefully crafted and interesting, with some pairings perhaps a little daring, but it was still intriguing to try. The service was attentive and very knowledgeable. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. I recommend booking well in advance.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria degli Assonica, a true gem just outside Bergamo, awarded a Michelin star. Accompanied by two dear friends, we chose to enjoy this wonderful experience outdoors, immersed in the elegant and relaxing garden surrounding the restaurant. The interior features a refined and slightly minimalist atmosphere, creating an atmosphere of great serenity and intimacy. The well-spaced tables allow for a private and comfortable dining experience, amplifying the feeling of exclusivity. Each course was a discovery of bold and refined flavors, with innovative, balanced, and harmonious pairings: a true triumph of contemporary cuisine. The service was impeccable: the waiting staff demonstrated professionalism and kindness, carefully explaining each dish and its accompanying wine. Always present, discreet, never intrusive, the attention to detail is evident in every aspect, making the experience not only tasteful, but also emotional. The quality/price ratio is fully justified by the high-quality culinary offerings: a total cost of just over €100 per person reflects the excellence offered. In short, Osteria degli Assonica is an essential stop for those seeking a refined, innovative, and welcoming gastronomic experience in the splendid setting of Bergamo. Heartfelt congratulations to the entire staff for this extraordinary experience, which we are sure will remain in our memories for a long time. Highly recommended!
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Everything was fantastic from the moment we made the reservation (thanks again for the flowers, much appreciated). For the food, we chose the "vegetables" tasting menu, having read about their special focus on vegetables and herbs. We weren't disappointed: a delicate start with an incredible crescendo of flavors. A final note on the service: the service was super professional with a great explanation of the dishes, but also very friendly and spontaneous; we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back, see you soon.
service excellent
We went to Assonica on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was very quiet. We decided on taking the tasting menu with the favourits of the customers. Especially for the amuse bouche and the petit four there was a huge variety with all different types of tastes and also surprises like a savoury macaron. All the dishes on the menu were unique in texture and flavour. Especially the bone marrow and the meat was fantastic. Thank you for a memorable evening
Our experience at Osteria degli Assonica was truly unique. It started with the presentation of the dishes and amuse-bouches; we had never seen anything so beautiful and refined. Each dish had its own unique flavor, with every ingredient standing out clearly. This is an art in itself: no single ingredient overpowered the dish, but you could taste each one distinctly. The service was excellent and very helpful. They provided clear explanations of the dishes, which enhanced our enjoyment of the culinary masterpieces. To our surprise, we even got to meet the chefs. It was remarkable to see such a level of refinement and quality achieved at this location. The terrace offered a stunning view, which made the experience even more special. The only downside is that we don not live nearby and can not come back daily. It is astonishing that this restaurant only has one Michelin star—it should have at least two. Nonetheless, this is undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant we have ever been to. We will come back soon!
TOP🔝🔝🔝
Tasteful!
We called in the morning to make a reservation for a birthday party and they went out and got fresh caught seafood for us to enjoy and prepared it perfectly. They were very friendly and flexible with the menu, and made us an assortment of desserts! Highly recommend

I went for lunch during the week. A great idea for a low-to-medium-priced business lunch in a charming atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Very minimal and aesthetically pleasing. Excellent quality products. The dishes were good, but the ravioli tasted too much like lime, and the egg coating wasn't crispy at all. All in all, a good lunch. I would return, but I'd choose other dishes.
Tastes good, various menu. Unfortunately the location is far from everything of interest
