We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Shanti Home during our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of magical. The view alone—overlooking the Bay of Naples with Mt. Vesuvius in the background—is priceless. But what truly made the night unforgettable were our hosts, Salvatore and Viviana. Salvatore’s dishes were magnificent—each course bursting with flavor, creativity, and care. Paired with local wine grown in the very volcanic soil we could see from the terrace, it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Viviana’s warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. If you're visiting Sorrento, do yourself a favor and make time for this incredible private dining experience. It was a highlight of our trip and a memory we’ll cherish forever.

This experience was a 10/10! Not only is the home and dining location beautiful but Salvatore cooked us the best meal we had during our trip in Italy! Salvatore is truly skilled and a true professional of his craft. He takes pride in his dishes and includes fresh fish that he hand caught himself the day of. On top of that him and his girlfriend Viviana are both down to earth, genuine, hard working people! Would recommend to anyone looking for a special dining experience in the Sorrento area.

We had an amazing experience here, we could not fault it! From the moment we stepped into the house, the hospitality was fantastic. Viviana and Salvatore went above and beyond to give us the perfect evening. The views from the balcony were amazing - it was one of the best sunsets we had in Sorrento. All of the food was fresh and prepared in the kitchen after each course and it gave us an opportunity to try local dishes we wouldn’t normally order in a restaurant. You pay for the experience up front when booking and it is 100% worth it as Salvatore buys the ingredients that day and cooks a tailored menu depending on your preference of meat, fish or vegetarian. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special experience! It was our last night in Sorrento and I couldn’t think of a better way to finish off a fantastic holiday. Truly a once in a life time evening. Thank you Salvatore and family :)

We had a magical evening with Chef Salvatore. He is a master of his craft and each dish was pure perfection. I had the vegetarian option and my husband selected the meat option and both were delicious as were the wine pairings. The view from the terrace overlooking the bay was also spectacular. Chef Salvatore was such a gracious host even going as far as driving us back to our hotel at the end of dinner. This was truly one of the highlights during our stay in Sorrento. ❤️🇮🇹

A Magical Cooking Experience in Sorrento This cooking class was truly the highlight of our trip to Sorrento. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into their beautiful home which provided an intimate setting that felt more like dining with old friends than a traditional class. The instructors were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also so fun and personable—sharing techniques, stories, and lots of laughs along the way. We made delicious, authentic Italian dishes while enjoying a little Prosecco and appetizers while we went to work. When the food was complete, they set up a table in their yard overlooking the most breathtaking views of the sea. It felt like a scene from a movie. Sitting down to enjoy the meal we had just prepared, with a glass of wine in hand and the sea breeze in the air, was pure magic. If you're in Sorrento and looking for a memorable, hands-on experience that engages all your senses, this is an absolute must. We left with full hearts, full bellies, and recipes we’ll cherish forever.
