I only ever gotten a drink here prior. Always thought the food was a tourist trap. Tried it for the first time. It’s actually pretty good. They have gluten free option if you have allergy they will grill it for you separate in the back to avoid cross contamination. Just have to ask. Pretty solid deal considering it’s right at the gondola.
Fresh ingredients, and build your own bowl. The chef cooks your bowl right in front of you. So delicious, we will definitely be back.
We have been to this location twice now on separate trips and have been impressed both times! There are so many options to create your own dish and we love the all you can eat aspect to try different things. Watching the chefs cook our food in front of us is entertaining and they put on quite a performance! The service is great and a fun atmosphere. Good for big or small parties. Our server Matt was so friendly and helpful and really made it so we enjoyed our time and experience at Fire + Ice. Can’t wait to go back another time!
We had an amazing night at FiRE + iCE, largely thanks to Matt. The restaurant was packed, but he never let our water glasses go empty and stayed on top of our drink orders the entire time. He walked us through the whole 'interactive grill' process since it was our first time, and his recommendations for the sauce combinations were spot on. Friendly, attentive, and total pro—Matt is the best!
I gone be there last week. I ordered Chicken, but so dry . I mentioned it and the restaurant remade the food for me. However, it seemed a bit too burnt and dry for my taste. I apologize if my feedback on how the chicken was prepared was inaccurate. but I appreciate the atmosphere at this restaurant.
This is an all you can eat Mongolian barbecue restaurant. Every employees is attentive and friendly. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, our server, Matt, constantly clearing the used plates off our table and refilling our drinks. Keep up the good work Matt! The two skillful chefs were fun too watch and they are very professional and courteous. Food was OK but it could be because of my own preparation. However, for the price and in a tourist town, this restaurant is hard to beat.
Great Mongolian bbq style restaurant. Prices were reasonable for all you can eat. Cooks do a great job entertaining as they cook your selected items. Definitely not a place to go if you are overly concerned with cross contamination or well... food hygiene but still a great time for our family!
The cook is absolutely amazing hear. He had cool tricks and the kids oved the show. He is definitely part of the experience i have never had at another normal Mongolian bbq place. The food was also good. Cooked very well and presented very well.
What an amazing experience! From the food prep process, which is like a show, to the food itself, all was very good. It's an interesting concept of a buffet where you choose your ingredients, the cooks cook it in front of you and all you need is a couple minutes of patience and a big stomach to fit in it all you can eat. We tried several combinations of foods with meats, and sea food, different sauces etc. If we ever see one of these chain restaurants somewhere again, we'll dine there for sure!
Really enjoyed this place! The food was slammin... Because obviously I'm a master at pairing my food selections and sauces haha... To be honest.. Being that you pick out all the ingredients and the sauces people could give mixed reviews... And I don't think that's fair... If you stink at making bangin combinations... You might hate this place... But if you have the know how to make yummy pairings it could be the best place ever lol! So yeah.. Best place ever from me 🤣🤣🤣 Also if you're interested.. I made a TikTok with more in detail videos of yummy places I've tried... And beautiful places I've visited... So also follow me on there for more in depth pictures and videos... BVATRAVEL ❤️❤️❤️
My mom and I went and we definitely enjoyed it! We went for an early dinner, so it wasn't busy. They had good protein options (steak, pork, chicken, shrimp, scallops, tofu), and a plethora of veggies, noodles, and sauces. This would be a good place to come if you have a lot of people in your group who like different things. Have a kid who only likes butter noodles? Congratulations, you can make all the buttered noodles they want while you get a jerk sauce over your veggies, or spaghetti and meatballs. They even have burgers you can do for that one guy who only eats burgers. Our waitress was really nice, and the chef was too, he even offered to bring our food to us since there weren't a lot of people. Overall a really good experience, and as expensive as everything else is around here, it was a good price. My only suggestion would be for them to put out a print out of foods that have similar cook times.
This restaurant is in the hotel we were staying in, and we love Mongolian BBQ, so we had to try it. Since there were only four of us, they only accept a reservation before 5:30 PM, so we made it at that time. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, the place has a positive vibe. Our waiter Matt (Matthew) brought us water and introduced himself, then he proceeded to show us around the restaurant and the different stations. He was professional and very friendly; I asked for steamed rice and he brought me some. The food selection is huge, the salad bar, the fresh vegetables, the meats and seafood, and the sauces. The selection was impressive, and they were continuously replenishing it. The cooking show was fun. The chefs had great energies and were entertaining. We enjoyed dinner and it was a great experience.
Highly recommend that all you can eat grill. There is a huge selection of starches salads, vegetable topping sauces, meats and fish. They grill it i front of you. You take it to your table. The weight staff are very friendly, but they do minimal because you are picking out your food and then you are taking it to the grill and bringing it back to your table yourself. There are appetizers that are available but beware because if you’re only ordering appetizers there are only 10 tables to sit at otherwise you need to do take out the majority of the seats in this place are only available for those doing that all you can eat grill. We found this a good option for trying to keep healthy while on vacation compared to the other restaurants in the area that have fried food/bar food. Ambiance is great. They play great music outside and the fire pits are great as it gets a little chilly here in the evening - even in August - which we weren’t expecting but there’s no humidity so… it’s nice.
Service was excellent. Our waitress explained everything really well and the two guys cooking were so much fun to watch! They seemed to be genuinely having fun and obviously enjoyed working with each other. That being said maybe we just caught it at a very busy time but the restaurant was crowded with limited space making it difficult to move around. It was also very loud making it difficult to have a conversation. The food was good with lots of selections and options.
Super interesting concept and I throughly enjoyed it. Buffets are great especially when you can try whatever you want! This place seems to always be packed so be prepared to wait for food. I came right when they opened for lunch so it was quick and easy but you miss some of the things they offer at dinner.
Good place to enjoy music and views of the gondolas going up with family and pet friendly. But that's it, management and food can improve. the food was mediocre and service was really slow at the walk up counter to order drinks and appetizers. Had a bad experience with management. there needs to be better training for those running the restaurant because management needs better communication skills. I think the manager was Valerie, we were approached and immediately accused of sharing a plate for their all you can eat option, but we each had our own plate. It soured our experience with our kids especially when our group overall had spent a few hundred dollars already collectively. The set up is very confusing with all their strict rules on food and where you can eat. We had little kids and when we were finally settled with our food and had the little ones settled, we were told we couldn't eat main entree meals outside, and were being asked to move. What could have been an easier conversation saying " hey next time this has to be eaten inside only" was soured when we were accused of stealing and sharing The heavenly plaza has better food at the pizza place across the plaza or the Mexican location has much better service and food as well for the price.
Food was decent not the best quality but you can eat lot with their buffet option. Service is similar to a hibachi style restaurant where u see them cook in front of you. However the employees would throw plates and bowls into their bins for wash. Then they would scrap their food into a surrounding bin on their kitchen. Just made the food more unappealing for me. Also the way to grab raw food seems messy for me. Dietary restrictions will be hard for eating at this place as everything is cooked on the same place. Waiters were kind and helped move plates out of the way.
We stopped in for drinks and ordered a round of shots. The first round came out with one of the shot glasses having a seed inside the glass and the outside of the glass was very sticky. Another glass in that same round was also sticky. We pointed this out to the bartender and asked for new glasses. The second round came out and the glasses were still sticky, and one of them even had lip gloss on the rim. At that point we told the bartender again and asked for a refund since we obviously weren’t comfortable drinking from the glasses. The bartender said he would process the refund and brought another glass out, wiping it down with a napkin first. The outside of the glass was still sticky, which he even acknowledged. Then suddenly we were told we would not be getting a refund after all. Management came over and the situation turned into a complete mess. Instead of resolving the issue, they began accusing us and making it seem like we were the problem, even though we had received multiple dirty and sticky glasses. The entire experience was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. To make matters worse, as we were leaving we were flipped off by upper management. This was a very disappointing experience. Clean glassware and basic customer service should be the bare minimum.
The food gave my party stomach aches and then all of the sauces had food mixed in the sauces which is unsanitary. Also the tongs to pick up the food all had different food stuck to them so I was grabbing my noodles with fried rice stuck to the tongs. I have food allergies and luckily the food I'm allergic to was not stuck to the tongs. I'm not sure if the woman who brought her dog in was the manager or not but the dog was hanging out behind the bar walking through the restaurant. Talk about unsanitary I felt like throwing up after seeing that scruffy dog walking through. And another thing the cooks... Those guys were cooking with dirty spatulas and burning our food you guys need to focus more on the food and less on the tricks throwing bowls in the air. We will never eat there ever again. And if fire and ice needs a model restaurant to go off of you need to go look at the los Angeles location and piggy back off the way they run things there
