I went to this location for the first time and I have a great customer service from this employee named Diego who was very chill and helpful. He explained the menu for me so I have a better understanding as a first time customer here. I will definitely come back to this location.
I’m leaving this review to publicly thank Celia who always has a great attitude and puts care and attention into every pick up order I have (multiple times per week). She’s makes the best meals that aren’t just slopped into the bowl. I really appreciate her professionalism and kindness.
Just a great value on delicious Mexican fare. The salsas are great. The meat dishes are always different, seasonal and well cooked.
Great chipotle. The manager Shay was a sweet heart and was super kind, as was the rest of the staff. I have to give the atmosphere 1 star because some lady was in there (not her first time) on her soap box giving the whole staff a hard time, including the staff member who was in the middle of ringing me up. This lady needs to be banned from this location, her presence destroys the dining atmosphere.
My experience is good. I buy a couple of meals every week. I order them with the app and pick them up. Service and quantity/quality are good. The restaurant is in a nice location if you plan to dine in causally. Once my order got delayed, and they were very kind and sympathetic.
Great service, amazing food, bright and open location with ample seating. I haven't always enjoyed visiting Chipotle restaurants, but I like this one a lot. (Also, get the brisket tacos, they're fueeego 🔥🔥)

I was sad today so i went to get some food here like I usually do every Wednesday and was surprised at how friendly the new employee was! She was so cheerful and made my day feel so much better. Thank you Erin!

First time here after a bad experience at a different Chipotle and I was blown away with the staff and food quality. The guy serving us was so sweet and even made short and sweet conversation and when I asked for extra rice etc. he was completely friendly. The staff here is excellent and they kept the protein fresh and you can taste the juiciness of the steak and my husband loved his carnitas burrito and the chips were fresh. They also give you a decent amount of protein. Parking a bit tough here as it has several other businesses there but if you are willing to park a but further, this is a great location to get some food.
Look let's get one thing straight. There's nothing Mexican about this grill. Sure, it's inspired by Mexican culture and food but I never ate like this when I was growing up. I had much hardier stuff. But that's another review and until Google maps opens up reviews for living or deceased individuals, we shan't be doing that here tonight. So Chipotle? If it's good enough for Sebastian Maniscalco it's good enough for me dog. So at this particular location they've got the process down. Pat. They know exactly how much beans to give you. They know exactly how much meat to give you. They know exactly. They know exactly exactly what it is that you want and how much of it you want. You may think you want more, but you don't because by the time you're done consuming whatever monster size, burrito or bowl you've ordered, you'll know that you're satisfied. A smile will curl across your chubby face because you know that you had a sufficient amount of chicken and you were totally okay with paying extra for that guac. Now the last time I came here and actually scratched that the last five times I've come here, I've paid for my Chipotle with a gift card. I got that gift card while on a date with a woman down in Orange county. Apparently she works logistics or something. And we did not have a second date, she just was not that into me. And I have hard time knowing why she would not want to go on a second date with me. But I digress. Anyway so I haven't had to pay for a Chipotle meal in like 3 months. So we'll see how much more is left on this gift card as I go back once more, twice more, thrice more? Who knows how much money is left on this gift card. I'll keep on buying free Chipotle as long as this card holds up. But even before I went on that date and received this gift card, I absolutely paid tens of dollars. Maybe even hundreds of dollars for a Chipotle before that. Okay? Thanks!
Very fresh taco shells with flavorful pork and guacamole Everything tasted noticeably fresh and delicious. Convenient parking, plus lots of cute shops nearby to explore. Only complaint is bathroom doesn’t have seat covers for some reason
Went with a friend to church in Passdena. And decided on lunch as soon as I found out he had never been to Chipotle ever.. not once. So I insisted (as everyone should do in this situation) on Chipotle... and it was what I have to come expect even though I'd never been to this location ots one of the few giant chains that I actually trust in them having consistent service and quality no what location.
On these day visist was great, can't complain. I will complain on the day of the dodgers day. I went and made the line like everyone else, I went ahead and ask how many we were able to get and on the app and email and social media was saying 5 the most, it never said that the person had to be present. So I had to just get one and make such big line for nothing. Please be considered to the people that have disabilities that can't come and make such line and when we do go for them and get denied is really sad.
To be transparent, the reviews could scare one away. However, I am glad that I still chose to try it out. When I walked in, I was greeted and the girls in the front took good care of me. I had no issues, my bowl was made nice and service was spectacular. Everything tasted fresh. The location was clean and I would go back.

Always good portions and service but their menu prices aren’t accurate. I know prices are rising but a large chain like this should be able to quickly change the price to accurately reflect what’s on your receipt.
This is a generally good Chipotle but occasionally the meat can be a bit salty. Salsas in pick up orders sometimes end up spilled at the bottom of the bag.
Good food but it always seems like there’s a new kid learning how to wrap burritos. You want to give him the benefit of the doubt but you finally get home and take a bite and half the burrito falls out and at that point it’s too late and too difficult to complain.
The place needs regular cleanimg and service is okay. Steak barbacoa quesadilla with a side of guacamole. It was delicious but had to get my own drinks and clean my own table.

Diego took my order and he had no enthusiasm whatsoever. He never looked me in the eyes and I asked him a question with a pretty loud voice and he didn’t respond. He felt like a robot.
The South Pasadena location of Chipotle is average at best. They routinely get online orders wrong or are very sloppy in assembling the foods. The salad that’s prompting this review for me looked like I was eating someone’s picked over salad leftovers from a previous day. The lettuce was soggy and everything looked mixed around. Another meal in the same order was missing multiple components that were selected in the online ordering process. I can only recommend going into the store to order your food so you can witness the food being made.
Note to manager: please use tongs when adding lettuce!!! The crew is great at changing gloves and washing hands but gloves are being used to open fridge, touch cash register all sorts of communal surfaces and then scooping lettuce with the same tainted gloves. You will fail health inspection that way.
Food is..well, is chipotle so good for a chipotle. But server was annoying and stingy. Asked for extra veggie fajitas, she literally picked up 1 piece of pepper and put it in my bowl with a look for "I hate my life" that killed a little piece of my soul
I usually purchase from this restaurant but today I couldn't believe the litlle amount of food that I get in my bowl its all ready a pricey but at least do a decent amount of food. I think is the last time I wiil go there

Although it appears I had better service than other reviewers, it's the food I want. Still poking around my burrito to find the meat. I know it's there. Maybe all the rice and beans absorbed it. Disappointing.
They barely gave me any portions. How did finish in under 10 minutes? Also i asked for white rice and they gave me brown
Fodd is good like always. However i went in a good hour and a half before closing time and they had said they ran out of steak, guac, cheese and certain beans. I took it for what it was, the exit is passing the kitchen and walking bye you can visibly see the steak, guac and beans. Not sure why they wouldn’t just put that out instead of leaving it in the kitchen. Seems like they started closing too early. Either way, sucks that i was lied to.
My review is bases on multiple times visiting this location. The location is always clean and well kept. However on three separate occasions I was left disappointed. One the first occasion waiting approx 15mins in line, upon reaching the front the cook informed, it was only cash only. Second time similar situation, upon reaching the front of the line informed no guac was left. Completely out . Third time decided to order online, upon opening my bowl, it was really poorly made. Save yourself the time and go the location on South Lake.
I would expect Chipotle to have consistent quality but my meal was not great tonight. The carnitas had bones strewn about and the chips we ordered were stale. I didn't think it was possible to serve stale chips but they did. Get your act together.
Very inconsistent and the portions are small but sometimes they're big it just depends on who is doing your bowl also ordered carryout and got no utensils inside, how do I eat it if I don't have utensils?
The severs are very unprofessional and seem as they feel like they are doing you a favor. Service is way below standards.

Training needs to be better or something, I get the feeling that half the people who made my orders have never eaten a Chipotle bowl in their life. It also seems like ingredients are constantly low despite there being virtually no customers in line. I've never seen the place with more than 4 people inside, yet its like the staff is stretched thin. I know that prices have increased everywhere, but when you are now spending 14 or 15 dollars for a burrito bowl it should be a good amount of food. Skip this location and go to another nearby.

There was only one employee taking orders and handling payments, while they constantly ran out of food items and had to wait for refills. To make matters worse, the person grilling the meat wiped his nose on his sleeve. A long line of customers was waiting to order, yet no one from the back stepped in to help the lone employee at the counter—who was clearly new. On a previous visit, we encountered the same issue: a long line and only one person working the front. That time, we left and went to the Alhambra location, where the service was much better, with multiple employees on the line and a friendly attitude. Whoever is managing the South Pasadena store needs to implement a better system.

This Chipotle is close to my house i haven't had any problems before, but today I ordered steak burrito but the steak was under cook. I recommend more attention because people can get sick.
Someone should teach these idiots that when the inside of the restaurant is dirty, they should clean up instead of standing there like idiots. They should also be taught that when putting the ingredients in the burrito, especially the steak meat in the water should be strained. Train these stupid employees first and then let them serve.
location used to be good, not sure what happened with the old staff. this new staff definitely does not care and are extremely dirty. food does not taste like it came from a chipotle and that new cashier "black he/she" clearly doesn't care. he/she just stands there instead of grabbing a clean ragg and wiping all that nasty lettuce, cheese, etc off the counter while the other workers are helping out the customers. management should also be accountable for whats happening.
Size of the bowl was very small . No napkins or spoon available. They are always in hurry to prepare your order and wont even listen to you .
Portions are very small compared to other location. Inconsistent portions every time! I asked for extra cheese and lettuce but they didn’t follow through. Rice was undercooked. Will never visit again
This is the worst Chipotle in the area by far. Every time I visit they are missing basic items like: forks, napkins, guacamole, etc. To add insult to injury, the portions are basically 50% of what you get at the location in Alhambra. A salad where you can see the bowl through the food... Maybe just use smaller bowls and don't charge people $14 for a toddler size portion of food.
Yesterday there were three workers and they were out of nearly everything. Took us 30 minutes in line to place order. I got norovirus / food poisoning from lettuce carnitas bowl. Never again!

Unfortunately, this is the closest Chipotle to my work. Went to Chipotle on 02/09/26 to pick up my online order. This location has missed my queso in the past so I had checked the bag thinking I got a side of queso. Didn't see the side of queso so I let the cashier know and they were about to hand me the queso when another worker (lady) asked me again if I was sure there was no queso. I showed them the bag and they gaslit me saying how I didn't order queso and how it should be in the bowl. I paid for the side of queso believing they had put it in the bowl. When I went to my lunch, I inspected my food and there was no queso in my bowl. Also, I got 2x steak and extra brown rice and the portion size does not meet that expectation. Bowl was sparse in rice and steak. Just crazy that the workers were dying on the hill for $2.75 that goes to a corporation. Left feeling judged with subpar customer service. Workers made me feel like my requests were inconvenient when it was slow and consistently gave each other side eyes with each of my ask. Food is cool but the vibes are just weird and judgmental.

Line was atleast 20 minutes long and I clearly said just cheese and sour cream on a bowl, I then go to pay and come home and see lettuce on the bowl. When did I EVER say lettuce? Where did this worker even get the word lettuce from?
