We really enjoyed the pecan chicken and waffles as well as the crabcake pretzels! Very nice visit for a cold winter afternoon!

Had a lovely meal and evening at Captain Jack’s! Friends and I enjoyed appetizers- calamari, crab poppers, lobster fritters, and oysters (-local, so fresh and delish)! Our main dishes were great choices as well. Definitely recommend the fish tacos and the mahi Reuben. With the restaurant right on the water it’s a great spot for a sunset view which adds to the charm. This will be such a great, fun, local, spot for this summer! Boat owners in this marina are lucky! Service was also great and the owner pays special attention to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves and happy! Will be coming back!

What a cool place. Good vibe and friendly staff. Clam Chouder is a must. Highly recommend if you have the time and are passing by. Steak flat bread app ++++ Our server, Captain Jack Cooper was exceptional!!!!Deserts were fabulous, Carrot Cake and Peanut butter pie were outstanding. Hope to be back soon.

Great options year round! With a seasonal menu changes, there’s always something new, not to mention weekly specials that are always amazing—and honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve had maybe ever! Staff is helpful and upbeat, and they do trivia on Tuesday nights which is always a hoot. Great vibe, great location, and just an overall excellent experience.

My favorite lunch spot! Jack, our server (not the captain) is the best and always gives the best service! They really do have the best clam chowder in town and their mango margarita is a MUST

Roberto was our server and he was phenomenal. On top of the great service, the food was to die for. My fiancé and I were were trying to figure out how we could try everything! We had the lobster hush puppies, smoked wings, blackened tuna, and steak, everything was amazing. Over the top good. They have so many different sauces and sides and a killer menu. Definitely found our new favorite spot out here!

Food is SO good. Selection and presentation is perfect. Drink menu is on par. Service was amazing, our waiter was a young lad named Charlie and he was Amazing! He is actually a reason my friends and I would return, he made our time there really enjoyable and we had a couple laughs together. Haven't been to this location since it was Coast Grill, and I'm so glad I did. It's different and good!

A wonderful experience all around! What a treat. The service was exceptional; attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was truly delicious and offered something for everyone. Our table ordered a mix of great options and everyone loved what they had. The voodoo squash was particularly tasty and the oysters were out of this world! It's great to see a local-run restaurant and not another city conglomerate out east as well, and I wish them all the success! And of course, the views are wonderful. Don't miss this great addition to the Southampton/Sag Harbor area!

I hosted a party for my husband's birthday at Captain Jack's. I messaged them through Instagram and was in touch with the owners, Erin & Chef Mike. The whole experience was so pleasant. From the planning, (I had both of their cellphone numbers for calls and texts!) to the actual event (amazing food, awesome friendly efficient staff behind the bar and servers). I can't rave enough about how great this place is! A much needed addition to our sleepy side of Southampton! They are crushing it all over from atmosphere (Thank you God for the beauty surrounding us!), to the wonderful, professional, friendly staff, to the delicious food ,to the new friends I've made in Erin & Chef Mike. I wish them continued success and Thank them for their kindness!!!

Fantastic dinner with the fam! We stopped in to check out this new spot in Noyack and we were all impressed with the friendly staff that greeted us. Our waitress Gail was lively and fun and always checked in on us at the perfect times! As for the food, the Hot Chicken Sandwich was not too spicy but had a ton of flavor and nice kick. Swordfish tacos were absolutely stellar for my girlfriend and I, and the NY strip steak my mother got was “sooooooo good”. Overall excellent service and meal - Excited to come back soon with my friends this summer! Thanks Jack!

Really enjoyed our experience tonight! Did not need a reservation and got a table right away. Delicious food and great atmosphere with a nice view. Had the salmon which was tasty and a key lime parfait dessert was excellent. Plenty of great options, especially the lobster hush puppies as an appetizer. We will definitely be going back, highly recommend this place!

Outstanding food (especially loved the scallop fritter appetizer special and crab cakes). Great view of the marina and attentive but not overbearing service. Lots of non-seafood options as well - looking forward to returning!

Great food with an interesting menu. Mahi Reuben was different and delicious. Fish tacos were excellent and the swordfish was cooked to perfection. Chatted with one of the owners on our way in and out. We will definitely stop back soon as we also found the prices to be quite reasonable considering we are in Southampton.

Our server Jack was wonderful. Kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate multiple food allergies. We had a great lunch! Thank you!

Restaurant week, thought we would take a ride out east to Capt Jack's On The Coast. To start, the bartendress was so delightful, and she introduced us to the Happy Hour $4 Peroni. Stop right there! Not many places on the island even have this Italian beer on tap, much less overlooking the lovely view of Peconic Marina! To add, dinner was delightful! We saw a crab stuffed pretzel as an appetizer and just could not visualize these two paired together, but decided to try. Kudos to the chef, this was a tempting appetizer, very delicious and satisfying! We also had the appetizer of mussels in Bloody Mary sauce, something I could write about for many pages! Entree was the the shrimp over grits. However, and thankfully, NOT southern style, but pan seared into a crisp cake that lent itself to the Black Tiger shrimp in such a complimentary way! Still dreaming about this dish a week later. My husband experienced the Hake and mussels, cooked to absolute perfection! Dessert included peanut butter cake which was light and mouth melting. The topper? Atmosphere was cozy, warm and welcoming with the staff being genuine and attentive. What a find! We will be back and I can say, best meal to date of 2024! Met up with some old friends whom I haven’t seen in years at Captain Jack’s. Had a great time at the corner table overlooking the small marina watching the sun set. The food was delicious. We all shared the calamari, crab poppers, lobster hush puppies and oysters. All were fresh and delicious. Fish tacos are a must try, they were fantastic! Fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. Everyone else loved their choices- the mahi Reuben, oyster po boy , & the vegetarian squash dish. Our server was sweet and attentive but not overly. The restaurant has a cool welcoming vibe. We will be back for sure!

Really a cute place is what you think when you walk in. We timed seating with sunset; great view of the marina and cove. Pretty spot. I got the calamari appetizer. I’m picky. I wasn’t over cooked or over breaded. Excellence. I had the catch of the day fish tacos and they were outrageous. My son had a scallop po’boy (sorry don’t know what the menu item was called) that he raved about. Service was great and not rushed. Going back soon!

Stopped here for an early dinner on a Saturday night late September while visiting the area. Great vibes and excellent place to bring kids. Just a very positive family friendly restaurant but also with good drinks and food for adults. Fried fish type things are tasty. Service excellent.

My husband wanted oysters, and Captain Jack’s didn’t disappoint. We also got the scallop po’ boy with fries, the short rib grilled cheese with a full side of slaw, 2 Jack & Gingers, a Southforker (gin cocktail), and a glass of Channing Daughters Rosé. Everything was fantastic. I wanted the grilled cheese to be great but was prepared for less. Well, it exceeded my expectations. Cocktails, food, apps, and sides were all that good, but the slaw was epic! We even asked about how they prepare it-fresh everyday, that’s how. It was a busy lunch day, about 8-10 tables, and there was only one server who was also the bartender. He provided excellent service with very little wait. We will go back next time we’re on the South Fork.

Love their Reuben and their Salmon. The staff has always been friendly and their trivia night was a blast. I need to remember which night it is. Their deserts were also really good and they changed it up. The peach one was really tasty. Pro tip: you can order food at the bar too and get their tasty deserts.

One of our favorites! Food is excellent amd service matches. My least favorite part is trying to decide what to eat when we go and realizing we cant try everything!! Will always recommend.

Great find on the South Fork - a bit out of the way but food and service were phenomenal. The Mahi-Mahi Reuben was to die for and the Tuna Crudo and drinks were awesome, the bartender was not frugal. Overall, the menu had a lot of unique and interesting choices. Stop by, next time you are on the East End.

Had a great dining experience on the way home from Sag Harbor. Great apps, we had the zucchini and corn fritters with hot honey, fantastic. We also had the Mahi Mahi Ruben and the Salmon BLT which were both fabulous and highly recommended. They both came with great fries seasoned with old bay, perfect. Matched with local Sag Harbor pilsner from Kidd Squid that made it wonderful. Make a point to stop herein your way to the Harbor, you won be disappointed.

Captain Jack’s is a true gem! Every time I come here, I’m reminded why it’s one of my favorite local spots with the best menu around. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with nice views and a cozy coastal vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The seafood is always top-notch. Favorite musts: grilled mahi, shrimp & grits, clam chowder, grilled cheese short rib! The drinks are strong and well-crafted. Service is very friendly and it’s clear the staff takes pride in what they do. Roberto is one of our favorite servers! Whether you’re stopping in for a laid-back lunch, sunset dinner, or just a few drinks with friends, Captain Jack’s delivers every time. Highly recommend!

I have watched this location change ownership over the past 25 years, so I waited to see if Capt' Jacks would last. They have, Congratulations!!! We stopped in on Wednesday night, without a reservation (we are in season) ended sitting at a high top table at the bar. Service was prompt, and polite. Ordered a bowl of the award winning chowder and the evening's special, Fish Fry. The flounder was fresh, the coating crispy and hot. Came with interestingly shaped fries and slaw. We added a cold glass of #KiddSquid Lager to round out the meal. Enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. We will be going back..... Happy Summer

Absolutely fantastic experience at Captain Jack Restaurant! Great menu and the food was delicious, every dish we had was great. The drinks were just as awesome, perfectly mixed and refreshing. The location is great too, with a nice atmosphere that adds to the experience. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a great meal and good vibes!

Stopped here with a small group for a mid-afternoon snack. The service was great and the food was delicious -- particularly enjoyed the soft pretzel stuffed with crab and cheese. Also helps that it's reasonably priced for the area. Will be back!

The only thing I can say is the food is so good!! I highly recommend the clam chowder! We drove all the way from NYC, and it was absolutely worth it. The service was amazing, especially Jack, super friendly and attentive, he really made our visit even more enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back again!

We are coming back for the oysters. Great, delicious, and at a GREAT price. My wife loved the margaritas!!!! We also had the steamers, a little bit on the salty side but delicious anyway. Coming back soon from NYC.

We looked on Google for a place to eat today and found Capt Jacks so we said let’s try it. We were so pleased we did. The location is right on the harbor and very nicely decorated inside. The best part was the food and the service from our waiter Jack. (No relation to the owner). I highly recommend their award winning clam chowder, it was awesome and they give you a large bowl of it. Yummy

I come here with my family all the time. Whether you’re sitting at the bar, at a high top, or in the dining room, you’re sure to eat a delicious meal that you couldn’t get anywhere else. There’s a great back room for parties if you want to celebrate a special occasion too. I’ve caught so many great sunsets here too with the view over the marina. Erin and Mike are great and have accommodated my alpha-gal allergy on many occasions which I appreciate so much. I definitely recommend!

Nice atmosphere, offering nice views. Good service and good food. Portion size a little small for the price. Staff very attentive almost too attentive. Barely finished the meal and they took the plates away!

THE CLAM CHOWDER IS WORTH THE STOP!!! Loaded with clam, rich like it's supposed to be. Service was great and the place was clean. Great stop if your wanting great Clam Chowder.

Great atmosphere, loved that I could reserve a window spot online and when we got there the table was waiting for us. The location and watching the sunset was amazing. Our waiter was also great, super attentive and kept our water glasses filled. Food was great, got the stuffed sole which was delish, however, all the meals and apps were underwhelmingly small, especially for the price. The pretzel was two small pieces, the four of is ate one bite each. I'm not huge eater and usually take home leftovers, but the salmon was such a small portion I ate it all ($40). Fries that came with sandwiches were little and not a ton. Not a filling amount of fish/scallops on either sandwich. Portions were so small we ordered an extra side of fries for the table. However, would return.

My food was great honestly no complaints with that. The only thing that makes this place great is a variety of homemade sauces on the menu. That’s really worth two dollars other than that my bill came out to $78 and some change and I paid with a card and I understand it’s more when you pay with a card and I left my waiter on tipping cash and for some reason I was charged an additional $20 extra on top of my 78 and still left the cash tip real interesting. It’s giving very much so out east vibes and it doesn’t overlook beautiful water it overlooks concrete pavement, too boats at a marina.

Food was genuinely really great, and the dollar oysters were a great deal, however- half of our food came out 20 minutes AFTER the rest of our table already got their food. I also had to walk up and ask the bartender about where the food was. She was rude and it seemed as though she didn’t want us to be there. The food was great, I just wish it would’ve come out at the same time as my company’s food so we could eat together. I also wish we didn’t have to personally inquire about any updates with our food.

Wanted to try this place but disappointed firstly with the service which was non existent, food ok and saw someone come out of the kitchen into the toilet wearing gloves and came out wearing the gloves and going back to the kitchen! Hope he wasn the cook Bar food nothing special won’t go back

Great place for kids and simple fare for them. But for adults the food was absolutely inedible - at an unbelievable level too. (Ordered the stuffed flounder) and had to send it back - next level gross. Even the water glass had an aroma of cigarettes. However the weight staff was fantastic and very accommodating to both my kids and myself.
