After repeated visits the enchiladas are Devine. The fajitas are amazing so happy with the service and food. After every visited we are pleased with the service and delicious plates. Border sampler and enchiladas pictured.

Our first time here and they were very helpful in accommodating a party of 14. They gave us endless chips and salsa while we waited. Our food was absolutely worth the wait. Everyone loved their meal… no complaints what so ever . Eduardo and Mary Claire were our servers and they were so nice. I always expect great food and great service at this Gringos, and I've never been disappointed. But this visit, the hostess and Devon really blew us out of the water. My mom has mobility issues, the hostess noticed this and found us a booth not too far from the front where my mom wouldn't have to step up. Didn't even have to ask, she just volunteered. Devon was a great server and stayed on top of everything constantly.

Someone gave us a gift card so we decided to go. The parking lot was full so I dropped my wife off and went to park in a different lot. She got us entered in. The wait was short. This place is amazing. I wanted to leave a review so I can share a pic of this taco salad! I’ve never seen a taco shell quite like this. Plenty of meet and extra goodies to fill me up. Kids love the free ice cream after their meal! It’s hard to get them off the playground outside, but the entire family loves coming here.

Gringos is one of my favorite Tex-mex restaurants. “The green sauce” is absolutely amazing and I always find myself getting full from it before my entree comes out. . I tried their tacos for the first time and was really good. The meat was tender and juicy and the tortillas were very fresh. The rice is always flavorful and fluffy. Their drinks are really good, but I opted out for this outing.

Before talking about the food, the service from Wyatt was extraordinary. Very personable, talked about different aspects of the menu, his personal favorites checked up on us often. Excellent service. Food itself was very well portioned and great price. Atmosphere is fun tex-mex style with plenty of seating.

Can't say enough about the fantastic service by Josh on our first visit here. The portions were huge and delicious. I had Pollo Marisco and tried the Amaretto margarita. The manager, Annie even stopped by to check how we were doing. Will definitely visit again if we are back in town.

Margarita Vinaigrette Dressing, tortilla soup and Enchiladas Suizas are all excellent. The " to go" menu has a soup and salad combo that my friends and I order in the restaurant. Enchiladas can be ordered a la carte which is not on the menu either.

I am so in love with this place. They are by far the best Mexican food from Huntsville to Spring. I’ve been 4 or 5 times now and tried something different each time and it has been delicious every time. They have the things you expect from a Mexican place on their menu plus a lot of things that are unique to them. They have great chips and green dip. I strongly suggest you ask for some amazon sauce to try with your chips. You won’t regret it that stuff is addictive. Their staff is really friendly. Each time we’ve been they have gone above and beyond. They even have a ice cream machine so you can grab a free ice cream cone. It’s not the crappy weird ice cream that some places have either. If you haven’t been yet just go, you won’t regret it.

Compliments to the chefs! I got El Capitan, no subs. Freaking DELICIOUS! My hubby got Tampico Chicken. Yumm!! Kitchen was on point! I will definitely be back again when we come through Houston. LOVE LOVE LOVE! No wonder its top on the list. Great spot!

Aasheeta is an amazing server. She had the ability to read my mind and bring out the food I wanted before I ordered. I thought I was lost, but then Aasheeta was able to guide me to the perfect entree at this wonderful Gringos establishment. The stars aligned in order for this to be the best experience I’ve ever had at any dining establishment. The queso was good too.

Dave is fantastic at guest service. He recommended a marisco sauce(basically a shrimp bisque) for my chimichanga. It was excellent. He was incredibly personable and charming with my kids. Also a big shout out to Jazmin, who showed such genuine patience and care with my daughter reading her name tag. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.

My sister & I came here after leaving Chili’s due to bad service and Gringos was superb. Our server Dominque was AMAZING. Our drinks were delicious - food was quick & hot and service was spectacular. Food's great, prices are good and service is usually excellent; today everything but the service was excellent. Jason was our server and our orders were correct, but service was slow from the start. We were seated nearly 15 minutes before they took our drink order and it took 18 minutes after we paid to get our to go order, which was placed at the time they took our food orders.

I just knew I was going to like this place as soon as I arrived. My coworker suggested it for lunch, and when we arrived, there was security on a golf cart patrolling the lot. We decided to sit at the bar. The staff was attentive, professional, and the place looked cleanly decorated. I felt very comfortable just being there. My food was delicious. I had the fried shrimp enchiladas and they hooked us up with ice cream on a cone. I'm definitely going back.

Big portions for a reasonable price. Amazing staff as well!! We were asking about boomboom sauce and wasn't expecting it but a few minutes later we had some on our table! My family and I have never been to Gringo's before until a few nights ago. We were immediately seated in a nice, comfy, semi circle booth. Our waitress Savannah was INCREDIBLE!!!! Highly professional, answered every question about how certain foods were cooked, she knows the entire menu with ingredients and exudes pride in her work. I have a high respect level for this young lady. We also were introduced to Dan whom is the Manager. Again, we observed high quality professionalism and their primary goal is customer satisfaction. The food....where do I even begin, besides saying how eye rolling deliciousness was served exactly as ordered. When a restaurant has a great leader like Dan, employees of all areas ensure to exhibit high standards. It's the trickle down effect. Great place to take your family. They offer outdoor seating and they have a play area for children! We are extremely impressed and will be frequently dining there. Outstanding job ladies and gentlemen!

Visiting from out of town. Decided on Gringos for dinner. They had a nice patio area out front for guest to wait plus free soft serve ice cream. Love the green salsa option with our chips. Food was a bit slow coming out but it was understandable since it was Saturday night dinner rush. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious but we didn't find anything special about it, just your typical Tex-Mex restaurant but don't take our word. Go try it yourself 🙂

We giggled, laughed, talked, & they really just showed kindness, which us EXTREMELY RARE in this city. Houston is god awful. 🙌🏼 my server Coral was very sweet, excellent service, understood my food allergy, came by & made sure he understood exactly what the allergy was & how it affects me. He seems a bit nervous but he did a great job. The food came out in timely manner, the queso is delicious, the chips & salsa is so good especially the green sauce, & the beef enchiladas were very good. I loved the front Cadillac margarita. It's a bit strong in taste due to the tequila but it's relaxing 4 sure. ❤️. What I liked the most is when I expressed go Coral that I'm a laid back guest, don't need much attention, he respected that, & still was attentive. I eat slow so don't wanna stress my server. Overall it was really fun, great experience, & I'll def say hi to the girls & request Coral again. Ty so much guys. The double rice was so light & delicious.

Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen is my favorite place for TexMex food. The beef skirt steak fajitas are the best in the business. Our latest visit was over the top. This was our first visit that was not during a lunch or dinner time, so it wasn’t crowded. I had the fajitas and my wife had the BangBang shrimp tacos and both were great. I was there at an odd time in the afternoon, so things weren't running at optimal rates. But it was still good. Victor took good care of me, and the food was good. Visited here Monday afternoon during happy hour. They require that you make reservations online and to wear a mask upon entering. Which is for everyone safety so thanks for that. We were there a bit late on a Saturday. I arrived around 9 to meet people for a drink and appetizers at the bar. The drinks were good, the queso was good and the bartenders were very friendly. Our only complaint is that the staff at the bar started cleaning the bar area around 9:30 since they close at 10:00. I've worked in many bars, restaurants, and service positions over time and I understand the wanting to get a headstart on closing tasks. Wiping down bottles, taps, and menus all come across as typical routine tasks you see all the time. These tasks don't make the guests feel like you are pushing them out and don't gross them out. But disassembling the bar drip trays, tap trays, and wash basins are all things that should be held off until after closing at least. These practices were very off-putting and made it so our group agreed that we would not go back to the bar area that close to closing time. Again, the rest of the trip was nice, just the early start to cleaning up was very bothersome.

My mom and myself went there today for a late lunch. Food was good, drinks were good as well, but our Waitress Angela was excellent! Just the right amout of keeping an eye on our table and her service was spot on. Loved her personality and felt like we were being served by a friend. Will definitely ask for her next time. Cadillac Margarita on happy hour was excellent and so was my big dos xx beer! Mom like her red wine. Zinfandel I believe. I had the enchiladas with 4! Yes 4 different enchiladas on the plater all good! And rice and beans! Also delicious! Chips and salsas good also. My only complaint was the booth we were sitting in was quite uncomfortable, felt like springs poking through. Not painful by any means but i would sit at a table next time. Restaurant was also very clean and nicely decorated with a good amount of natural light. Definitely a good place for tex mex!

We were seated right away, it was during the week. Although it was dinner for two. We were seated in a big table right in the entrance. I found it a little odd. There was plenty of seats opened. The Waitress was nice and attentive in the beginning. Me and my partner eventuality finished our food. We were just eating a quick bite to eat. Well. The only thing is that she eventually seem to forget about us. She stopped checking in for a bit afterwards, I believe the supervisor refilled our waters, we were finishing up, maybe another 10 minutes waiting for our check. Everyone was bustling on the other side of the restaurant, closer to the kitchen. We could see our waitress. But again, having to walk all the way over scooting out of the booth would be too much. Eventually another waiter came to our side and we kinda both looked at him. He came down to us and we politely asked for our check. I’ve been a waitress and worked at a restaurant. I know it can be busy. But it was a Wednesday afternoon, and it wasn’t a holiday. The food was very good, I liked the aesthetic, the place is nice to eat.

Great staff, Manager and staff in general are on top of everything. Great atmosphere. I ordered shrimp Tacos and loved them. By the way they have free self-serve ice-cream. Good food! I recommend to spend a great time with your family.

My wife found Gringo’s while looking for something close to my mom. It was Mother’s Day so it was busy, but the staff was handling it well. The food is about what you would expect from any chain Mexican food. Not bad but nothing really stuck out as excellent. Our server did a great job and made it an experience that we were happy to have had. Thank you for the memories!

When first arrived young lady was taking orders over the phone, and i waited patiently to go. When she was done taking the order she decided just ignore me and a nice young lady named Bryanna took my order to go $98.00 worth for my family. Our Enchiladas were cold and they forgot to put the rice in our order. It wasnt her fault the food was made wrong and cold.We had the prime rib street Tacos, 3 orders. The prime was tasty but tacos corn tortilla was very hard. I won't go back. Chips and salsa was okay. Rice was tasty but it's not Spanish rice. It tastes more or Mediterranean yellow rice. On a positive note, you can have free ice on a cone when your there. I orders a coke to go and the bartender was not attentive at all and the soda was flat.

Went to see how this compared to another restaurant in the Houston area. Prices were a little lower, and there was a lot of variety on the menu. The quality of the food was good and quick to the table. Beat part of the .eal was the green sauce. Could have drank it with a straw, and it made the fajitas.

I came here today to have a solo lunch, and everyone was so kind and pleasant starting with the kind older lady who seated me and including my waitress. After my waitress took my order I looked up, and I made eye contact with a young woman in a white sweater. I slightly smiled at her, and she looked away immediately. I would’ve been OK with that exchange. Has she not proceeded to greet each and every table individually and ask them about their experience. I told my waitress and found out she’s an LT that’s unacceptable. Don’t you think?

My first time there. We were a party of 6. Service was very slow. We had to flag our waitress down to order, to get drinks, to get our check. Not attentive at all. Food was good. Drinks were ok. Won't be rushing to return.

I have seen this place many times but never tried it. I ordered the veggie fajitas. The tortillas were good , I wouldn't say they taste authentic. Veggies were only onions,carrots, and zucchini I opted out of including mushrooms. What I don't like is I had more onions than I had any other vegetable. It was mainly onion with a sprinkle of zucchini, peppers and carrots. That was poorly executed. I may be a vegetarian but that doesn't mean I want a tortilla filled with mostly onion. The rice that came with the food was a toddler size portion of food. So I can add that to the things they gave too little of. I've had better veggie fajitas.

I tried this place while visiting from California and it was just ok . I ordered a burrito and asked the waitress if it was good size because I have a hearty appetite , she replied " oh yes ! " . When I got my order I thought I had received an enchilada on accident because the burrito was so small and served with sauce and cheese over it that was not mentioned on the menu . It tasted good but for $17 I expected a pretty good size burrito that would fill me up . Where I'm from in Cali I pay $12 for a burrito that is easily 3 times the size of what I got . They have complimentary frozen yogurt which is a nice touch but I will not return .

We went for a birthday celebration this afternoon. The food was OK. The service was poor at first. All I can say is the server may have been overwhelmed by the large party. One of the bathroom stalls was soiled with blood on the toilet seat, disgusting and unsanitary. I went to tell someone and saw a server at the register. I said, excuse me miss and she turned around extremely perturbed that I had disturbed her. I told her and another server took over. Service eventually improved but not stellar. I did like the fact that one of the busboys welcomed us upon arrival. We ordered and ate a burrito con queso, pollo con queso and chicken nuggets (a 6 year old). It was certainly not the best I have ever eaten nor the worse. **Update: Ms. Audrey of Gringos reached out to me an apologized on behalf of Gringos Restaurant for the not so great experience. I love the Gringo's restaurants as a whole, my experience at this particular location was very unacceptable. The general manager Aaron was not professional at all and made us very uncomfortable being they only African American family in the facility at the time. I made him very aware of the behavior of himself and the staff that was displayed and will not be returning to this location!!!

I would love to say i had a pleasant meal and service because normally i do at Gringos, but this time i sat at the bar. After witnessing MANY instances of cross contamination and lack of cleanliness and food safety is CONCERNING. I watched the bartender Jessica for over an hour, every single drink she made over the ice bin (that was left open the entire time) poured alcohol and juice in to the ice. On top of that, i watched her make an alcohol beverage, take the strainer dip it in the drink and throw the ice from the drink BACK into the ice bin. She later made a frozen blender drink and threw the receipt in the blender, looked at it, picked it up and then continued to finish the drink. To add, the service was TERRIBLE she checked on us a total of 0 times. I have great concerns of the cleanliness of this establishment, i ordered water and refused to drink it after watching her pour alcohol and juice into the ice bin all night I’m allergic to pineapples and if in contact i could have serious health issues.

Just awful!!! Gave us corn tortillas instead of flour as requested then proceeded to quibble with us over SIXTY CENTS worth of a dollop of Sour Cream and that was the manager who said no!! Got the prime rib tacos home later and they were the worst! Tossed in trash.Our first time at a Gringo's and I promise you it will be the last time I ever step foot in another Gringo's.

Spent $75 on a to-go order for 3 people. Picked up at the designated time, food was cold & not what we expected. I don’t understand the good reviews about this place. Possibly the same people who hardly season their own food when they cook. Extremely low chance of eating here again. 1 meal was okay, the rest was not good.

The food was the only decent aspect of this establishment. It seems that this restaurant is despicably understaffed which causes the service to be terrible. In more blunt terms the service was trash. Very slow, staff seemed poorly trained or not ready to be on the floor out of training. For someone who can handle their alcohol or beer as myself. The two drink limit is kind of crazy. I will never dine at Gringos Mexican Kitchen EVER AGAIN. I don't recommend this establishment. Im in town for the week and was hoping for a good dining experience the only time this week I would be able to enjoy myself as I am taking care of a terminally ill family member this week. I am terribly disappointed and feel completely robbed.

In disbelief, disappointed, and disgusted that unfortunately this happened all in one sitting. Roaches & 🐀rat/Possums during my dinner with my family. There was a 🪳roach inside by my table while I was eating my meal & a possum right at the door when I walked out and scared the living hell out of me! 😞 This was one of my fav places to go! This was certainly unsettling and ruined my dinner for me! Beware

I recently placed a pickup order from Gringo’s - Spring on 9/27 approximately at 7PM, looking forward to enjoying a meal from a restaurant we often visit. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple and pleasant experience took a concerning turn. Upon opening my order at home, I discovered a safety pin inside the food. Understandably alarmed, I drove back to the restaurant immediately to report the issue. However, what was even more unsettling than the object itself was the way the situation was handled. When I spoke with the manager, there was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the incident, no apology, and no sense of ownership or concern. It was treated as if this were a routine complaint rather than a genuine safety hazard. While I understand that mistakes can happen in any kitchen, how an establishment responds to those mistakes speaks volumes about its values and professionalism. In this case, the lack of accountability and empathy was deeply disappointing. This review is not written out of frustration alone, but out of a sincere hope that the restaurant will take food safety — and customer communication — more seriously in the future. Incidents like this deserve to be met with both urgency and understanding.

We ordered the family meal that said it would feed 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) it was not enough food at all. We each had a taco. All the extras were great and sufficient but very small portion of food for the price. 90+ dollars for one taco each not worth it. First picture is the advertisement and second is what we got.... it's the size of a lunch container.
