Killed it! Affordable and delicious. Best in the neighborhood. Crawfish hit the spot and the cheese pull on the obviously fresh cut fried mozzarella made it all the way home with me.
I love going there Wednesday with my friends and getting a table in Makayla's section. She gives the most wonderful service. The Crawfish is on point each time we go there. The drinks are served wonderfully and even when the bar is backed up she's always the first one to come over to refill our water and sodas. Also if you want a perfect snack I would suggest the fried Oreos. They do have a small parking lot so I would suggest showing up early for fun nights.
Second time there and tried the food for the first time and it was definitely delicious! I loved the gumbo. The chicken tenders were also good. Every Wednesday night they have bingo and it’s a lot of fun! Good vibes and friendly staff. Highly recommended ya’ll checking this place out especially on Wednesday nights at 8:30p for bingo. Not a lot of parking spaces though but definitely worth visiting and checking it out and having good food and drinks.
The service was super fast and friendly, the soup (gumbo and tomato basil) were AMAZING!!! we got the lunch special for $9, catfish with mixed veggies and chicken fried chicken with mashed....yall I'd be lying if I didn't say this hit the spot!!! The food was on point, I could've used pepper BUT that didn't stop me from destroying the food. Husband enjoyed his too. Beers are cold and affordable, I'm fanning over the food and forgot the mozzarella sticks 🤭 it actually has cheese and isn't hollow like others (worth the pain I'll go through later). Can't wait to come back!!
The crawfish are very good and the only reason we are giving it 4 stars is because the boudin balls taste like they are cooked in expired and burnt oil. The service was great! The beer is cold and crawfish are good. I cannot give my two cents on anything else. please change the oil !
like the staff and people.most of the food is good is good. But if you have never had a muffuletta before try one somewhere else.Ihave bought three whole ones there.the first one was fair at best.the second i asked the server if nancy and apapa had taught them how to make them properly i was assured they they were better.nope.the third time which was new years eve i ordered one and asked for extra mayo olive relish.hardly any of each not to mention the meats.barely any and no provelone the ham tasted like it was two weeks old.as said i like the staff and people get your muffuletta some where else.save yourself the almost 18 bucks.sorry for any mispellings.jim
Stopped in for lunch. Sat outside as this time of year is perfect for it. They did not have a specified server for outside. Wound up going back in to order, after having been seated by the only server there, she was working behind the bar. She was very polite and was doing the best she could. Mushrooms and jalapeños came out piping hot! French fries were hot swell. The muffaletta was not as good as one from cafe Dumont in New Orleans but satisfied the craving. Today was a great day.for outside eating, slight breeze, great temperature!! Must say Tewbeleaux's hit the spot again.
Didn’t feel like driving far so thought I’d take a chance on their crawfish. Was pleasantly surprised, definitely scratches the itch. Spice was above average. Flavor was good, nothing crazy but nothing lacking. They were cooked decent, had to peel a few of them but overall no complaints. Price was below average for the area. Will definitely be back for more. Also the gator bites were excellent
My friend recommended this place and he is right. Although it’s passed crawfish season but they do have crawfish tail and it’s soooo good. I was a little bit disappointed when they told me no boiled crawfish but the waiter recommend this crawfish tail instead and that just made my day. It’s really creamy and the rice is fully cooked(many American restaurants don’t know how to cook rice) also a little bit chewy. It’s a little bit spicy when you take the first bite but the hot would go away very quickly after that you will taste the light sweet of the crawfish and strong cheese flavor. You will find lot’s of crawfish tails. I gave 4 star because there were only 2 waiters to served the whole restaurant and we waited for a little bit too long to get our food. But their food is absolutely amazing
Its a solid stop n eat. I wouldnt stay longer or expect a super great atmosphere. Decent food reasonable pricing.
I have lived in the area for 10 years and finally decided to give this place a try cause the crawfish prices are very reasonable compared to everyone else. Went on Valentines day (Saturday) and everything food wise was great (service was ok). Crawfish were great size, seasoned well and peeled great! Went back the following Monday with my daughter and the crawfish were much smaller but still good. Service was good. Took a friend that Thursday, service was not good, crawfish were dirty and very small. I was hoping that was just an off day so I tried again today (Sunday) and everything was terrible...service and crawfish 😞.
Nice interior.. clean... 3 stars out of 5 stars. Ordered food here. Chili was warm not hot... Mostly all meat... not really that great to be honest. I wouldn't recommend the chili here. To be fair the Muffaletta was okay though.
The food was very good. Didn't really know what the drink spacials were and couldn't get real answer. The Saturday $5 flavor vodka special is not available but on the marquee screen.
I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and the fried catfish was so good. It was perfect and crispy and I couldn’t wait to come back. The fries were good, the mashed potatoes were cold, but it didn’t matter to me because everything else was really good. Our server was great too, I wish I remembered her name. I thought about the catfish all week and couldn’t wait to come back and eat it again. The second time I came here the catfish didn’t taste the same at all. It tasted fishy, the breading was chewy and honestly it was kind of gross. It was nothing like when I first had it. I was so disappointed when I left. The only thing that was consistent was the same great service we got from the same server as before.
Past couple years I'd come through for lunch quite often during crawfish season, not amazing but always good for the money which I can appreciate. Today my wife and I came in for some crawfish, everything was fine and no worries. When I received the check from the bartender I was shown an extra charge. I was told it was gratuity for just the crawfish, for clean up, etc and I was not to tip on the amount for the crawfish. I paid my bill and left my grievance for the bartender to relay to the owner. I was polite about it and said it was nothing personal towards her. My grievance being that the charge was never written anywhere, told to me or explained in any way before ordering or eating my meal. It wasn't until my wallet was in my hand before I was told of this. The charge itself isn't the issue, the clarity in which the charge is presented to the customer is what I said I had an issue with. Instead of just saying I understand and I'll inform them, mind you as I said I was very polite and worded myself in a manner to not cause offense to the bartender all I got in return was attitude and other excuses that in no way, shape or form had anything to do with me as the customer. Hope y'all get this sorted in a better manner for future customers, as I will not be returning myself.
We live close by Tewbeleaux’s and go there at least three times a month. I’m writing this review for my experience last Tuesday when I went for 50 cent wing night as advertised on the sign outside the restaurant. The waitress told us that only applied to boneless wings and we wanted bone in wings, which are a dollar each. I was disappointed and feel that all types were 50 cents in the past but I asked for 25 lemon pepper wings with fries and ordered two beers. The fries came out first and we had eaten them all before we saw the wings or beer. When the wings came out, there were only 20 on the plates. I questioned the waitress who said that the dollar wings were either by 12 or 18 and you could not get 25, so she gave us two orders of 12. She had not told us that when we ordered from the menu which gave an option for 25. But we still had only gotten 20 not 24. We also had not gotten any ranch or celery or carrots. I also pointed this out to her, and she said that she would bring out the missing items. At the end of the meal, I saw that she had charged us for the carrots and celery! This was always included when we got wings there in the past. I feel that the service and quality have gone down over the past year but that night was really bad.
Food was pretty good but the menu was inaccurate. Couldn't play music from the jukebox until after 9pm but was told it wasn't working at all. Mix drinks were weak. Was not informed of drink specials.
Went in and sat down at an empty booth. Sat there for about 10-15 minutes. No one walked over and greeted us. Saw 2 serves walking around and one bar tender. All 3 made eye contact with us but pretty much ignored us. Sitting at Wolfies writing this review. Got greeted at the door and had a drink in my hand within 3 minutes of walking in.
I visited today for crawfish after a friend recommended this place and had a great experience earlier this month. Unfortunately, my visit was very different. The crawfish were just okay and noticeably very dirty — they did not seem to be washed well at all, which was disappointing. Service overall was poor. The bathrooms had no soap, toilet paper, or paper towels, which is a basic expectation for any restaurant. The most disappointing part of the experience was our waitress. Asking for basic necessities seemed to be an inconvenience, and service was extremely slow. I waited over 20 minutes for a skinny margarita — the very first thing I ordered — and had to ask for it twice before receiving it. I really wanted to like this place based on the recommendation, but between the cleanliness issues and the service, it just didn’t live up to expectations.
Came here to eat and ordered 4 lbs of crawfish and 1lb of shrimp, pattymelt with onion rings. I been to this place many times and ordered food and took things to go, but today, the waitress tells me if I want my crawfish to go after we already ordered 4 pounds that the next ones would cost double, it's not like I'm a walk in customer asking for food to go. The attitude that she had was crazy, because I was trying to reason with her, and she acted as if I was trying to get something for nothing, I asked her to speak to a manager, so she went speak to the bar tender and came back saying that she said they would be double the price, so I paid my bill, for what I did eat and left, I'm not leaving a tip for someone with a bad attitude and who wasn't a very good server to begin with.
