Opinions de Bake Culture Staten Island
The most amazing experience for a 'Tea Lover' like myself. The smell of fresh baked pastries that warm your soul once you open the door. To the exceptional assortment of flavors of the many ways to enjoy your tea. Amazing customer service with a warm smile. To the remarkable view of the ocean. While eating and drinking your meal. Yes the croissant and bread chairs will have you on a roll. My number spot to relax and unwind. Take a trip to the ferry and enjoy yourself.
The drink is really good because they use real fruit. The sweetness and the environment is amazing. Everything is kept clean. Definitely a great place to stop by when visiting Staten Island! Highly recommend.
I take my kids here to get their the cake that's in the cup. I can't remember the name of it, but they have mango, strawberry, and chocolate. And I take my kids to get a treat. I love this place.
Pretty tasty pastries and coffee. Huge interior but mostly a take out place. There’s a lot of outdoor seating overlooking the water though, so a nice place to enjoy the view.
Really good tea and really good service. Food is always fresh as well. I just wish they were open earlier. Somehow the boba is always perfect cooked and my order is exactly how I want it.
The food and drinks are amazing. The workers there are so sweet and kind. You can get to know them very well. The atmosphere looks beautiful especially being by the ocean.
It very clam and enjoyable, the drink are the boom
My favorite place to drink my boba tea and soft fluffy bread
Conveniently located just off the ferry, this place has a huge variety of baked goods (the croissant crisp and and red bean pastry we tried were both delicious!) and great drinks (sugar level can be adjusted, so our drinks weren’t sweet but very refreshing instead). The place is a little too big to fee cozy but does have outdoor seating with beautiful view of the city skyline.
The baked goods were fresh, ready to go, and tasted wonderful! There is tsaôcaa on the drinks menu. There's usually a crowd but the orders are done within a few minutes so the wait isn't too long. It's a great place to sit down and eat with a view of the Manhattan skyline across the bay.
Lovely bakery with a wide variety of baked goods, I got the garlic hotdog bread and it was so fluffy and tasty!
Bake Culture 55 Richmond Ter Level 1 Staten Island, NY 10301 Coconut Cream This bakery is very easy to find as you step off the NYC Ferry. In addition to looking and tasting phenomenal, it was a really great deal! The pastry was light and fluffy with a perfect ratio of creamy. The coconut toppings added a touch of sweetness to the dessert.
Love this place so much. I’ve tried almost all their drinks and pastry’s and by far there all really good. My favorite one is brown sugar bubble with Oreo. The boba was perfectly chewy and flavorful. The workers are also very friendly and even bring the drinks to you sometimes. Also they also have Chinese guava candy on the counter for anyone to take which I think is supper nice. If your in the outlets I totally recommend you stop by and get some drinks or bread. Also my favorite worker is the young pretty girl I think her name is Xixi she’s really efficient with taking your orders!
Super delicious pastries! They had a few pastries I never had before. The chocolate braid and taro bun with salted egg were delicious! I like how there are notes written explained when the bread was baked so I can choose the most fresh bread! Will come back for sure. Location is right next to the ferry.
I love coming here whenever I'm passing by and need a sweet treat! The drinks are all good and so are the pastries! I often stock up on them for my family too.
Love this place! The bakery part was awesome!! The tea option was spectacular. It was so good. The service was friendly. When you are in Empire Outlet you have to check this place out! It was so refreshing. I highly recommend this place!
Awesome drinks! Staff were friendly, and the place is very clean and modern. We had the Iced Kiwi Green Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Black Tea (w. Bubble), and Milk Black Tea w. Bubble + Herb Jelly + Red Bean. The drinks were all 5/5 and I love the cups!
Excellent and refreshing fruits tea here!we also tried their brown sugar boba milk tea and we definitely recommend it too, no doubt. Right now it's buy 1 get one 30% off, what else can we ask for. They have basic regular coffee for those who like. Great selections of pastries on the side. Breathtaking ferry from midtown 39th street with view of the Manhattan skyline.
We stumbled onto this very cute Taiwanese bakery and boba place. The baked goods were a bit unique for Chinese bakeries. The ones we tried were deluxe! Also, the place had great seating.
My usual stop after work once or twice a week. Very tasty boba teas but I mostly go for their fruit tea (either lychee or peach green tea). Nice staff as well and they even accommodate my customization requests. Lots of choices for pastries and my personal favorites are the garlic hotdog and egg tart. Stop by and try to avoid Starbucks once in a while!
I ended up here by complete accident, but it was fate. Here I received the best bubble tea I have ever had in my life. Mango puree milk tea was simply amazing in taste; 10/10. Very nice and polite service. Good job

This place was great! The egg waffle was worth the trip. It was the perfect place to hang out, charge phones, and indulge in yummy deserts and drinks!
Bake culture have few stores in NY and I love their pastries & drinks. Just visited their staten island store today, never get disappointed! Always up to standard!
This place is the only reason why I take the long route back home from Staten Island. They always have such a gigantic, diverse, and interesting selection of pastries/bubble tea that gets continuously updated and it's rare that anything that you pick will miss. Price for breakfast is also dirt cheap compared to other options nearby. Customer service is also great. I've going here for over 4 years now and the counter person has always been sweet.
The drinks are honestly the best I’ve ever had so flavorful, refreshing, and perfectly made every time. Their pastries are just as incredible, always fresh and baked to perfection. On top of the amazing food and drinks, the service is outstanding. The owner is so kind, welcoming, and truly cares about every customer’s experience. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in, and it makes the whole visit even better. Between the delicious menu and the amazing service, this shop has become my go-to spot. Highly recommend to anyone who loves quality Milk tea and pastries!

This is one of the few Asian bakeries on Staten Island. The service is really nice, it's a beautiful view right outside and the space is large. Everything is individually packaged so you just take a tray and grab what you'd like before heading over to the cashier. I'd skip the roast pork bun but the egg tarts and taro pastries are good. Compared to other Asian bakeries selling similar baked items, this is priced higher. The drinks are about the same price as elsewhere though. I'd come here to just grab a drink and enjoy the view with friends.
On the waterfront, next to the ballpark, attached to the Empire Outlet parking lot is a fabulous Taiwanese bakery. Portions are individually wrapped and beautifully executed and absolutely delicious. I had green tea for the first time there this week and I’m reeling everyone to go. Fantastic drink for the fast ferry ride. Yum.
In my "former life", as an adult, I used to eat for lunch and then wait until dinner. But then my son came along and changed everything because, as a kid, he needs to eat during the afternoon... or so he says! 🤔 And there's no way I can watch him eat an ice cream or a cake and not eat myself 😋 So after breakfast + Auntie Ann's nuggets + Japanese food for lunch (almost nothing) we had an Asian (according to Google it's a Chinese place) afternoon snack at Bake Culture... And don't worry, we did have dinner afterwards! 😂 Pastries there look stunning. If you like eating with your eyes as I do, you'll love them. Their taste is less interesting, though, unfortunately. Another thing I didn't like too much is that most of these pastries are prepared in advance and sold in a plastic bag.. 😥 What I did like was the lychee bubble tea we had... I don't know how they can make such a flavorful drink out of lychee, which is a fruit that usually loses its flavor when not eaten as such. And what I absolutely loved was the view to Manhattan that you can enjoy from the inside, away from the winter cold, while you eat your pastries. Oh! and the food is kind of cheap... We only paid about $12 for 2 huge pastries and a big (and good) bubble tea. Quality & taste: 6/10 Quantities: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Originality: 9/10 Ratio price / quality: 8/10 Service: n/a How I felt afterwards: 7/10 More on IG @runnerandfoodie
Good bakery and bubble tea fused place. Deep in the bottom staircases next to starbucks, kind of a walk in my opinion. Feels hidden, but the interior is cute. Overpriced bread, but good for your craving.

Something happened to the jasmine milk teas but they taste like medicine. This used to be my most favorite place but they clearly changed the recipe this year and I wanted to throw up for the taste. Will not order again. To the owner: It has a horrible taste, you should drink it. I’ve tried jasmine milk tea almost at over 100 bubble tea locations, this is not an upgrade. I changed my rating due to your immediately response so I appreciate that. Other stuff is good but I’m just sad your drinks are not the same.

An employee gave me a dirty look for grabbing an extra straw. Then he refused me an extra lid because the first lid broke. Ordered the muscat green tea slush and brown sugar milk tea which were good. Would not come to this location again.

I just came from baked culture in the Staten Island location it really sucks to give a bad review because I go here all the time and never have a problem, the service is absolutely terrible we got our drinks and one of them which is the grapefruit peach green tea was super nasty it tasted like pure medicine which was unexpected because peach shouldn’t taste like that at all I understand it was us who ordered it but it was genuinely unbearable. I was super nice about it when I mentioned it to the guy and he automatically got rude and said talk to the girl that made it so I kindly told her and she was super nice back to me she offered to make another one and then the guy proceeded to say something in their language to which she changed it and said sorry I can only strain it, I allowed it because as long as the drink could be drinkable I have no problem, after that he kept saying stuff to her and it wasn’t working out I had to waste my money and throw the drink out because at that point I didn’t want to even order another drink from them.
The boba itself was good, but the customer service ruined the experience. I asked a simple question and was met with attitude, followed by unfriendly stares. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
