Baked clams, fried calamari, mussels, pizza... There were 9 of us and we literally "pigged out". Everything was scrumptiously delicious and the service was excellent! We'll definitely be back for more!

Ciro's is absolutely the Bestest Thin Crust Pizza around!!! But even better is their service and delivery. They always give you an hour or so window for delivery, within less than 20 minutes, they were at my door tonight! Thank you Ciro's for always being so prompt and providing the quality that you do!!!

Ciros has great pizza. They are the same owners as Joe and Pats on victory blvd. Food is great and so are the owners. Mike the manager is a very hard worker and nice guy also.

My favorite Italian place on an island full of good Italian restaurants. The food really stands out, especially the fried calamari. Pizza is good here too. Had the penne with vodka sauce. So good.

AMAZING PIZZA! I’d have to say this is definitely one of the best pizza spots on Staten Island by far! Sometimes I get penne pasta but I love their pizza above everything! The staff is always nice, especially Ciro himself!

G

Love Ciro's both here and in Staten Island; although this location is much much more desirable. Peasant staff, awesome food, pasta dishes are amazing, thin crusted pizza is awesome. It's a BYOB! It is a but noisy when crowded. Overall a delicious meal and pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent food, great people, and the pizza is one of the best on staten island. Back room for sit down food with fiends and family.

As a former Staten Islander living in Jersey for almost 15 years who’s experienced awful pizza here my wife stopped on her way home at your restaurant. Even after a 20 minute ride home it was still fantastic. We decided it’s worth the tolls and ride over to eat a pizza right out of the oven.

Their Fresh Mozzarella Pizza was soooo good!! ❤️❤️❤️ will definitely come back to try the other stuff they have!

I ordered Sautéed spiniach. Aside from great Sicilian style pizza with a phenomenal crust, the sautéed Spinach was sooooo good. Great Stuff.

Ciro Pizza Cafe is hands down the best place for thin crust pizza that our entire family loves. We find ourselves ordering from them almost every week, and we are never disappointed. First and foremost, the thin crust at Ciro Pizza Cafe is simply unbeatable. It's perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining light and chewy on the inside. The balance of flavors is exceptional, with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings to create a harmonious combination. Each bite is a delight, and it's clear that the pizza is made with the utmost care and attention to detail. Overall, Ciro Pizza Cafe has earned our family's loyalty with their exceptional thin crust pizza. It's the perfect choice for a satisfying and delicious meal that never fails to impress. We highly recommend giving them a try if you're in search of the best thin crust pizza in town.

I've been to this restaurant a number of times over the years. I have never had a bad meal here. Their thin crust pizza is excellent. I have also had their hot heroes. The hot sandwiches are stuff full of meat. They do not skimp on their dishes. Prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly, attentive and fast. They are popular in the community and with NYC Tranist employees. I don't get here very often because they are not close to my job for lunch or dinner and they are not on my commuting route.

Came here once and ordered tonight from ubereats. Ive literally tried almost every pizzeria and pasta place on staten island. This is THE ONE. Food was AMAZING. Nothing came from a can or frozen. Quality food! Pizza was AMAZING (Im a foodie and know my pizza). Portions are great! Overall great and I highly recommend the pizza and pasta.

Great thin crust pizza. Sauce is absolutely delicious. Combination scungeli and calamari with pasta cannot get anywhere other than this location. Sauce is the best tasting I've ever had. Good service nice casual restaurant.

I was referred to this place by a colleague of mine when I was looking for the best place to get pizza on the South Shore. As far as I'm concerned, it does not disappoint. If you like a thin crust- absolutely one of the best! I usually get a Sicilian with mushroom and pepperoni pie. Perfect amount of toppings and a delicious crust and sauce.

When we want to have a pizza night and a salad then this is where we head. Hands down the best thin crust pizza. Don't kill it with too many toppings, 1 or 2 tops...I like ½ anchovy and the house salad is crispy dressed just right and the small is good for 3 ppl to share. The dining area is great for for a pizza dinner and it's run very efficiently.

Excellent very thin crust pizza. Could possibly be in the top 5 on the Island. Also a good spot for food besides pizza. It's best to have the pizza there. Very thin crust goes cool too quick with delivery and pick up.

Italian lovers haa to try this brand and you guys will be hooked . What a perfect cheesy appetizer . Panini is beyond the expectation. The margarita pizza is so delicate and rarely made perfectly . Ciro's did kind off a good job . Loved the thick crust and tastiest cheese in it . Perfect big load of a party packer and pizza party . Packaging very descent . Can definitely recommend it .

I am leaving a review because this establishment does not deserve these false 1 star reviews. I have been here 3 times and each time has been great and friendly service, and amazing food! The best thin slice vodka slice I’ve had on this island. They also made me a custom Sicilian with clams. Chicken Marsala (which isn’t shown) is the besttt! When Im lazy to food prep, I get one of their entrees and split it into 3-4 days and pair it with a salad.

Pretty interesting Italian place. Well known for their pizza and “Hero” sandwiches. Definitely good food. Only gripe is that the menu is a little vague. Not much description. I imagined an entirely different sandwich than what I got. But it was still good.

A
Anthony DeSimone

I had a plain slice and a white slice. Both had a well made thin crust that was capable of being folded and support the weight of the pizza without falling apart. The cheese and sauce tasted to be of good quality.

Pros: Love the food and pizza. It’s excellent. Good service. Cons: A bit pricey… sometimes the prices are inconsistent so just double check that the bill matches the price listed.

I have been to Ciro’s in the past. I went there recently to try it again. Unfortunately it was same experience. This is an ok place. Service was excellent. Pizza was ok. Price was very high. Not really worth it. I can’t believe people post that it’s the best pizza on Staten Island. There are so many better places on the Island. Maybe it’s just me. The place does very well. I doubt I would ever return.

E
Easton Pop

I love the thin crust. Great pie. And they use the real pepperoni, not the horrible donkey Kong fake pepperoni. I grew up on the island and had every pizza. Deninos is not what it used to be and I still enjoys Brothers. But Ciros is a great pie. If you want to talk history, let's start with Pal Joeys.

N

Good food, but is very expensive for Staten Island. Their crust and sause for pizza is great, my personal favorite is pepperoni and sausage. Their penne vodka is also great.

Y
Yola Sa

Food was delicious but was surprised that they charged a " technology fee" on a bill over 300 dollars. Which added 11 dollars to my bill. Retuned...food was very good paid cash....no credit card fee...definitely a family favorite.

The pizza is great probably the best Staten Island pizza. A little over priced but is fine. Delivery service is awesome the staff is nice and always make you tell welcomed. Just is a little empty most of the time. Recommended

They make good food though the only issue I have is that they pre make cheese pies and sit them on top of the oven. Unfortunately they hand you cold pizza instead of fresh out of the oven pies . It makes a difference

Food is good. We got a chicken Caesar wraps which was loaded and delicious. We also the Baked Ziti Parm. The baked ziti was good but it need more sauce. Was to dry in my opinion.

J
Jason

Quality food for the price. It's been this way for years. Excellent server. Quiet and not busy when I went shortly after opening. The pizza was perfect. It's the type of pizza that is best eaten at the restaurant. The hero is always a slight problem I'd rather get less and have a nice neat sandwich than have it stuffed and a mess, maybe thats just me.

A
Anthony Noto

Food is excellent!!!!!!......The Pesto pizza is amazing! Be patient though as the service can be slow....waited 45 minutes for a take out order. Delivery service seems to take precedence over in house? Maybe just an off day so the 4 star rating for food quality stands. Price is in line with higher quality pizza shops I’ve been to.

mohamed hamed

Pizza is good but don’t show up expecting a deal. They promote a $13 large pizza Monday through Wednesday yet they still charged me $20 today (Monday) because it’s a holiday? Columbus Day? Makes no sense. Cmon management get it together.

C
Chris Christofilakes

The pizza is always good. The take-out deal on Monday and Tuesday are worth it. The main dishes are good too. Parking isn't great, and the prices are steep. Sometimes delivery can take a while.

G
Gina Torres

For a pie on a Monday or Tuesday if you pay cash $11 is fine. Same size pie next day is $17 and the pie is small. It's not worth it to go there when the pizza isn't discounted. There's many other pizzerias in the area and if you pay $17 for a plain pie, you'll get one at a decent size. I also dislike delivery fees. I find that to be in poor taste.

J
Justin Levine

I was very excited to finally come to Ciro's. I'd heard about it over the years as being one of the best of Staten Island, but that it didn't get as much recognition as other pizzerias did (cough Denino's) because of its location. After trying it, I'm inclined to agree that it is noteworthy, but it also isn't a "best of city" kind of place. First off, I did not realize that Ciro's did the signature thin, cracker crust, Staten Island-style pizza. Its sometimes called "old fashioned" pizza, which is curious as it is nothing like the more famous, early 1900's NY-Naples hybrid that has been the dominant influence in pizza. This would be an interesting history to research, but I digress. I thought this place was just a slice joint. That's not a bad thing, it just wasn't what I was expecting. Anyway, they have a nice porch to eat out on, which is good because it was a very nice day. The slice's thinnest is comparable to other pizzerias of this type, but I thought the crust could have had a bit more flavor. Like the other Staten Island-style pizzerias, the tomato sauce is bright and flavorful. The cheese was run of the mill, but it balanced the sauce well. Ultimately my main issue is that the crust could've been better (the flavor has to be there with this style because there is no rise in the dough), but it was still a solid slice. I'd recommend this for the area for sure, but I wouldn't necessarily come all the way down here for it either, as there are others who execute this style better.

robert carter

First off, they gotta get rid of the rating of a B... Usually when somebody has a B it means dirty kitchen or mice or rats so they have to fix out immediately. I know it's hard business by a train track.

pizza is pretty good not gunna lie/: owners have to stop being cheap charging 30 dollars for a large pie that can only feed an 8 yr old girl

First off I want to say that their thin crust pizza is really good.. I like their sauce as well it tastes homemade for sure.. tonight I said let me try the chicken parmigiana entree because if the pizza is good then the parm has to be even better.. Well I was very wrong.. first off let’s take some time to discuss the price..$21?!! That to me was a good April fools joke, only to realize it’s july so it can’t be that.. so I said maybe it’s actually a really good plate.. That was THE WORST plate of food I’ve ever had.. I wouldn’t even give this to a homeless person that hasn’t eaten in 5 years.. that plate was missing the following.. salt, pepper,GARLIC!!! And.... more salt and pepper.. And I paid $21!!!!! I’m sorry but i really hope this plate can cure diseases and was blessed by Jesus himself.. only then I’ll pay $21... That plate should be .50!! So again I love the pizza but can someone get the chef some cooking lesson and tell him not to price dog food for $21.. Thanks!

J
Jenn Jackson

Person taking orders gets the order wrong the majority of the time. Driver gives food to the wrong person. Have been ordering from here for over a year now and it’s expected for the order to be wrong or for something to be missing more often than not. That said, the experience is so frustrating that by the time the food arrives correctly it doesn’t even matter that it’s good… appetite is lost. Get it together.

A
Alyssa H.

It's so sad to say that the food quality has drastically gone down in the last few months. I have no idea who is actually making the pizza now, but it is beyond soggy. It used to be the best pizza on staten island

S
Stephanie

Normally, their pizza is very good. However, this time I ordered a small arugula salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was not freshly grilled and was very dry. Shame on them for charging over $20 for that.

I’m a regular at Ciro’s, and the pizza is generally very good, but tonight was just really disappointing. Ordered two sandwiches for pickup, was told 20 mins. I waited almost an hour outside. Completely disorganized - I had to give my name to them three times. They never gave me an update. I’ve been coming here multiple times per week for the last two years. Ridiculous. Then I got the sandwiches, brought it home, and they got the order wrong! Unacceptable. Ciro’s, please do better.

This was my second time going to this pizzeria and yes until tonight I had every intention of making this restaurant my go to place. We got there at 8pm and really didn’t know what time the restaurant closed. They gave us a table and no one mentioned the closing time. We ordered, ate our food; we had pizza and salad and both things were good. However, one thing is for sure we will not be going back. It appears that the restaurant was closing at 9pm. It was now about 9:15, we had finished our food and were just going to use the bathrooms before we left. In fact, at about 9:05, we were even asked if we wanted anything else. In any case, I used the ladies room first and then my husband went. My son who is 10 years old had not gone. I told him to go since we had a long ride home, and was waiting for my husband to come out so that he or I could accompany him. At this point some workers who were getting ready to clean up the place, seemed to be getting impatient and annoyed. To make a long story shorter, one of the workers picked up a carpet from the floor as we had started to walk out with our boxed food. He started waving the carpet up into the air to get off the dirt and dust right between the doorway leading to the only exit in the place and also near the front counter. Well, at this point we hesitated for a moment and then had no choice but to walk right through the dust and dirt in the air to get out of the restaurant. Myself having severe allergies, having to smell and breathe in all kinds of bacteria. And all of this rudeness after eating and spending a sufficient amount of money for a dinner that had not started out so terrible. Sorry, Ciro you should school your employees better, teaching them respect and consideration for the customers!

Michael House

I’ve been going here since they opened and have loved it since it’s opening... recently my opinion has changed because they have changed. The pizza is still great but the service is dead. The woman at the cash register seemed dead inside, not even a hello. Just “what do you want, $16.95, it’s ready.” No hello, no enjoy your day. Call me old school but service should be with a smile, not a grimace. Lastly, additional 3.95% for credit cards... it’s 2019. Why?! Sad to say I will not be going here anymore. This is NYC and good pizza isn’t that hard to come by but I’m leaving because of the bad service. Goodbye Ciro’s

I had Ciro's Cafe once during the tail end of my Junior year of High School. I had just become one of the three presidents of Video Game Club and everyone celebrated the election and the end of the year by having a pizza party through Ciro's Cafe. I was very curious about how Ciro's tasted as I heard good things about it and wanted to find out if it was the pizza I was looking for all these years. If the pizza I got out of it was anything, it was anything but the pizza I was looking for. I specifically remember it as thin, stale and unappetizing. However, seeing that they usual preheat pizza for these events, I wanted to see if my memory of the pizza still held true all of these years by ordering it myself. I was immediately not impressed with what I got. The buffalo chicken role, or just chicken role based on the person I called to make the order was abysmal. I was struggling to eat it as it tasted that bad. The buffalo chicken slice was serviceable but definitely on the lower end of buffalo slices that I had. The pepperoni slice was mediocre and certainly didn't look fresh. It was just about as thin as I remembered it. As for the pepperoni roll, it was actually pretty good, better than I expected. I would say it was either average or slightly above average. After this experience, I can confidently say that Ciro's Cafe hasn't changed since I last had it. I would go as far as say it has some of the lowest quality Italian food I've ever had at an eatery. The only place with worse Italian food I've eaten at is Gino's in Bay Ridge. Here's a picture of what everything I ordered looked like.

K
Kristen Farina

Don't bother doing the "special price" pick up mon-weds...it's never a bargain....after tax and a few if you don't pay with cash it comes out to 20$ a pie which is not even close to a "special" price. Go to pizza parlor or town deli instead. I love ciros food but they really do rob you

T
T Long

So much noise in the restaurant when placing my order (meatball parm panini , chicken fingers w honey mustard) that the girl who answered the phone could barely hear me. Called me back 2x to confirm credit card info. When food was delivered..it was an incomplete order. Was told I would be charged another delivery fee (on top of already being charged one and tipping the delivery guy) in order to make the initial order correct. My fault for not confirming the order when she called back given all the noise in the background, but poor taste on the restaurants part for wanting to charge me another delivery fee just to get my order corrected. I was sent a meatball parm panini and honey mustard…who puts honey mustard on a meatball parm. ??

Kenneth Battaglia

Was told there was a special for to-go pies for takeout ($14). I tell them thet I'll take a pie to go and they say it'll be done in 15 mins. 15 mins later I come inside they say it'll be another 15 mins.... this time I go inside and my pie is done. I go to pay and they say that I must pay cash if I want the special, otherwise the price is $22. I tell them that I don't have any cash and request the original price that I was told. They deny and insist I pay the $22. would not go back there.

Disappointing. I have had this pizza from time to time and decided to order delivery, over the places I would usually order from. Order came to $79 for a pizza, salad, soup, and ravioli. $35 of this was a pizza. I asked for a white pie with prosciutto and onions. $16 for the pie, $8 for prosciutto and $3.50 for onions. I was asked if I wanted ricotta, which was another extra charge. I have never come across a pizzeria that charged extra for ricotta on a white pie. I agreed, expecting amazing quality for the price. This pie came with a dissapointing amount of prosciutto. There were about 10 small pieces on the entire pie. Additionally, the arugula salad, for $10, was very small. To say that this place is overpriced, is just an understatement. I decided to call, just to give feedback. The “manager” was pompous and didn’t seem to care. He defensively insisted that he made the pizza and he covered it in prosciutto. I think a reasonable customer would disagree with this if they had seen what I received. No desire to retain a customer by at least offering an apology. I will never order again. Campania has far better pizza and doesn’t charge exorbitant prices.

S
St LoBo

This place has lost it's shine. When the kitchen starts to use pre-minced garlic from a jar in the scungilli in marinara and a side of pasta has a tomato paste sauce. Well, what can I say, especially at those prices. Still like their pizza but pricey for what you get. Nov/2018 Update .... Use to get their Italian hero. It WAS really great. For $14 this is what I got today, see pic. That's it for me. Over and OUT! SAD ..........

Sat in the dining area. Ordered fried calamari for appetizer and it was bland, no flavor like it was frozen. Ordered chicken parm for entree and the portion size was good.. but had no flavor ,Will not be coming back.

I went to this place a few years ago was not impressed, told myself I wouldn't go back, but I moved to the area and decided to give it another shot. I had a sausage and peppers sandwich that was disgusting. And my gf's grilled chicken paninni was bad as well . A waist of money and believe me. I will never be back. Please don't apologise or thank me for the feedback because that's all you do in the comments. Do something better like improve the store or close it. -⭐

Went in to order takeout. 3 people behind the counter. Not one of the 3 people acknowledged me. One was on the phone, the pizza maker and the guy working the oven and boxing an order. Not one of them said "I'll be right with you". I was the only customer there. I guess they don't need the business. I walked out.

J
Jonathan Ubiera

The pizza was not good. I had a really bad stomach ache all day. The quality of the cheese and sauce are terrible. I have had better $1 pizza in the city. Pizza parlor not to far away has better tasting pizza because they don’t cheap out on ingredients. This is my opinion I just moved around here and I have been tasting the different restaurants. Perhaps I have been spoiled by Brooklyn but hey, what can I do?

I waited an hour for a pie and 2 salads. When I got the food the pizza was cold, the cheese was hard and they forgot one of the salads. When i called back they said it’s going to be another 40 minutes for the salad, FOR A SALAD. So i told them to keep it. It really cannot be that busy on a Wednesday to be waiting an hour for such little food. Not to mention the nasty phone service too. Get it right and I wouldn’t call a second time. Awful and Never again!!!

I've been going there for 20 years and with the uncaring staff at the counter and my recent experience. I will never return! One of the owners tried to pass off a calzone that was sitting and to make matters worse, he was cutting it open with a tongue depressor stick at floor level so that he can stuff it with chicken after the fact because my order wasn't made, when I called it in. This is wrong on so many levels not to mention it's not sanitary! SI has many other pizzerias where the service is better. Horrible customer service. They get a big ZERO! I'm sure the founder would never treat a customer this way!

Pizza was good. But Salad came very soggy and wet. They made me send back the salad I tasted to know it was soggy in order to replace it ! Gross ! Hope they threw it out even the driver was shocked when I handed it to him.

I been ordering from Ciros for 20 plus years and today since I ordered a discount pie for pick up my 18 month old wasn't allowed to sit at the outside table. Made my baby cry and all. If my child wasn't hungry I would of threw the pizza on the floor! Outraged and lost a customer with a big family that orders for life !!!

Pizza is ok, but over all customer service is horrible. One owner is nice other is rude. But when they give you one price on the phone and you come in and it's another price and you say something getting the response "you can't go by the phone prices the girl doesn't know them when she takes them" then why give them out? Extremely unprofessional, from a prior waitress my old bosses would've never allowed us to do that.

Just got a chicken panini with the most overcooked chicken I've ever had in my life. Thin sliced jerky is what was in this thing. Unchewable leather. It went in the garbage it wasnt even edible. I wanted to try something other then the pizza because though good it's always cold. Done with this place for good.

Omg what happened to ciros. I loved their food In the past. I I just placed a very expensive order and it was awful. Pizza was not the same and I use to love their fresh sausage pie the sausage was always fresh and plump it had this awful sliced sausage all I can say is I will never go back. Not using the best ingredients pizza awful. And what is the deal with charging 2 bucks to use your credit card. Awful awful. I will not be back.

Everytime i order my pizza for delivery its missing something.. a pizza pie isnt 11$ any more. Missing items really ruin a persons night. If your prices are going up and its being passed to the consumer, thats fine- dont skimp on the service. Small details matter. Really ruined my night. Post 2 Tried it again after this previous post. 1hr+ wait for a thin crust pizza thats lukewarm and droops when you pick it. Dont understand how this can go from a favorite pie of pizza to just not wanting to order from here

I am disappointed to hear that my husband brought my 2 year old son here for pizza today and when purchasing a pie to go for $15 went to sit outside in the seating area and asked to leave! They told my husband that the pizza he bought was a to-go special and he could not eat it on the premises. Are you kidding me? Never again will you get our business and to all of the parents out there looking for a pizza deal, do yourself a favor and skip this place. Not a good atmosphere for a family. Do better, Ciro

This has got to be the worst pizza I've ever had. The slice was so thin it couldn't hold any mozzarella but thats ok cause there was hardly any on there. Absolutely no taste. They skimped with all the ingredients. It just didnt resemble pizza in any way.

Guys- food, meaning pizza i rate a 3- it’s subpar pizza, just a notch above what’s available in the neighborhood. Thin crust, made too fast and toppings are at random, that slide because the pizza doesn’t fully cook/lock in. I ordered today for pickup, it took the girl longer to get my name down than it did to cook the pizza. Atmosphere: last century Service: here’s the kicker- they have a large pie special on Mon- Wednesday for 13$ cash. I got half plain half pepporoni: I was told 18.60. How in the world is half a pizza topping 5.60$? On what planet? It gets better- no I don’t have cash. Oh, it’ll be 25.60…..fantastic. 25.60 plus a machine charge for the card and I pay 26$ for a subpar pizza. Last time…. How does this all work? 2 twelve year old girls run the register- so cute….have fun guys, with your “business”…

I love to eat in, but ordering stuffs always horrible. And they always say "that's how it's made" I'd recommend going and eating in, but delivery it's 9/10 a miss. Then again from past experience this is the only place I know they'll knowing have one person give incorrect info out and say "yeah she doesn't know what it should be" instead of either a correcting her or b not having her answer phone questions. If it wasn't my dads favorite I wouldn't recommend at all. They're not the best or worker on Staten Island but with the attitude the owners/people have you'd think you're getting good Brooklyn pizza.

Ciro’s was once the best pizzeria on the South Shore. Food quality has drastically gone downhill! I think they could use a lesson on flavoring food with salt and pepper. The wrong order was given as well. It was an overpriced and unsatisfying dinner.

Found a random Italian place on Uber eating, turns out to be here. When we ordered (Spaghetti with meat balls sauce, Bruschetta with fresh mozzarella, and other items) they came in containers, the problem is when opening the container the food was not heated up, the sauce was very thick and didn’t stick to the pasta at all, it was barely any sauce only in the corner of the pasta container it tasted strange, almost like leftover food, the chicken fingers was great, but again not even heated up, the delivery driver is not in fault the order came early and should have been hot because we live close. We’re just disappointing expecting better especially for dinner. I just wanna see improvement especially from this place I see the potential.

I ordered a large pizza. It was $30! I never eat a pizza with such a THIN crust, not only that, almost no cheese and tge pepperoni was sliced so thin that I could see the light going right through it wheb held up in the air! I will never again, pay so much for so little.

Poor quality food & waste of money. Over the phone I asked to confirm the price of the chicken parm with penne, and I was told $23 plus tax. When my husband went to pick it up, they added an additional $8. Why? Because of “covid”. I completely understand, but please don’t tell me one price over the phone and then add a random upcharge when we go to pick it up. On top of all that, the food was not even edible. The chicken tasted like it was frozen for years, completely rubbery and there was a puddle of watery liquid at the bottom (see pics). The penne were practically mush. It was beyond gross , and we are down $60 for dinner for 2 that we threw right in the trash. Highly disappointed and will never eat here again.

I hate to have to write this review, but I order from Ciro’s at least 2 to 3 times a week. Tonight was a horrible experience. I ordered a pizza at 6:02 and was told 45 minutes. It would be delivered by seven. I was getting annoyed. I called. She said it would be there soon. Now at 7:20. I’m really annoyed. She puts the manager on the phone or owner and he was very arrogant and rude and said we are so busy. I can’t help it and I said then you should’ve told me you were busy earlier when I called and that said 45 minutes. The pizza did not arrive until 740 and it was hot so that tells me that they just sent it out cause there was no way the driver was driving around all of that time with all of those busy orders and the pizza was still hot.. I could’ve easily ordered from a different place and paid half the price for a pizza but since I’m a big fan of their pizza I always order from them. This will not be happening anymore. I will not be treated rude for being such a loyal customer.. no apology or nothing. I can’t believe how that man spoke to me.

This was hands-down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I came in for a meal and received unbelievably poor service from our waitress. She repeatedly placed our food and drinks on empty seats across from us—completely ignoring us—as if she was serving someone else who wasn’t even there. She didn’t greet us, check in, or acknowledge us the entire time. It got so strange and uncomfortable that I had to finally ask her why she kept serving the empty chairs. I’ve never felt so disrespected in a restaurant. To make matters worse, when I brought the issue to management, the response was nothing but excuses. No accountability. No apology. Just brushing it off like our experience didn’t matter. What hurts the most is that I’ve been coming here since they opened in 1997. But after this, I won’t be back. I refuse to spend my money somewhere I’m treated like a second-class citizen. #BoycottCiroPizzeria

Our family have been loyal patrons of your establishment for two generations. That is why we were both shocked and deeply disappointed by the treatment my 14-year-old daughter and 76-year-old mother-in-law received during a recent visit. After attending a local game, they stopped by your restaurant to enjoy a meal and ordered one of your pizza specials along with two chicken rolls. To their dismay, they were refused permission to sit outside and eat—not because seating was unavailable, (it was completely empty)-but because part of their order included a promotional item. Despite the fact that they also ordered full-priced chicken rolls, this arbitrary policy was rigidly enforced. Adding further insult, one of the chicken rolls was prepared incorrectly. Your staff called after my mother-in-law who was on her way back to her car (after being told they were not allowed to sit outside) to acknowledge the mistake, and once again she politely asked if they could simply sit outside to eat. Incredibly, the answer was still no. To be clear: your business actively promotes specials to attract customers, yet when customers respond in good faith, they are denied basic hospitality like a place to sit. Is a discount on a pizza pie truly worth alienating long-time, loyal customers—particularly when they’ve also ordered additional full-priced items? This incident does not reflect the values of a neighborhood establishment that claims to serve its community. Your decision to deny a grandmother and her granddaughter a seat over a technicality (especially when ALL the outdoor seating was available) showed a complete disregard for customer loyalty, basic courtesy, and dignity. If this is how Ciro’s now chooses to treat its community, then you’ve not only lost our business, but you’ve lost touch with the very people who helped build your success! In a borough full of dining options, we chose you time and again. But No more. Very disappointed, JP

I got a salad over burnt bread, online menu said one price once they got here it was almost doubled. Man if the pizza even tasted good I wouldn’t complain. Save your money.
