The service is really fast and the bowls are always well made. I recommend the nutella acai bowl.

This is the best Acai bowl on the South Shore. Acai is very creamy and delicious. In comparison to the competition theirs is the most fresh and largest.

The food is always so good, delicious, and affordable. I will definitely keep going there 😊😊😊😊

My all time favorites are dolce late smoothie, almond joy bowl and booster bowl. I am used to açaí bowls everywhere these days, but playa bowls has SOOO much more than just açaí; they have coconut bowls, spirulina, banana, pitaya, green bowls (kale but actually tastes yummy), they even have chia bowls and overnight oat bowls! I came across this place completely accidentally and I am so glad I did! I’ve been ordering here almost exclusively several times a week, and they do not disappoint ever. Service is impecable as well. Anyone I have ever come across here always had a positive attitude and contagious happiness/ smiles. Keep doing what you’re doing! I can’t wait to try out all of your other locations across the US!

This location is actually the best Playa bowl I’ve been to! The workers are so friendly, 2 that stood out to me specifically were Layla and Sophia, they were so sweet and assisted me very well since I have irritations to a few fruits. Cant wait to come back

I stopped in before to get a bowl and the 3 girls working were so kind and friendly, the bowl was amazing !! Will be returning next week for another one!

They claimed 15 minutes on the website and I understood. I went in a couple minutes later expecting to wait patiently but saw them making it right away, so I was happy. But then they stopped making it and had to take walk in orders. No biggie of course. Until all the walk ins got their bowls way before I did. I placed my order 10 minutes before the walk-ins did and mine wasn't even as complex or complicated. It definitely annoyed me a bit. Only making this review to let people know you will have to wait 15-25 minutes when placing an online order, especially if they get many walk ins. In the future I will just make my order in my notes and walk in and say it to them next time. Again, my bowl was delicious and the staff were friendly so I didn't even complain. Just letting the general public know what I learned. 👍

I've been to a couple of different playa bowls and they were all greats except this one. Now I'm not sure if every playa bowl establishment has the same prices or offers, but I usually get the coco craze and it comes with honey so instead of honey I ask for peanut butter. I have never been charged for this. They told me that your allowed one substitute. They charged me 50 cents. Then she asked me if I wanted a bag and I said yes she didn't tell me they charge for bags I got charged 15 cents. Then when I asked the girl on the board it says your allowed one add-on is that free because it didn't indicate a price on the board she said no it's $1.00. This is very misleading. I should of been told I would be charged for the peanut butter and the bag. Just like the other playa bowl place explained to me that I could substitute one thing. The fruit didn't taste fresh. I never been so disappointed because I really like the bowls and for the price they charge it should taste fresh. Also place was dirty. The floor could of used a sweeping. It also seems to be a hangout for junior high school or high school kids. There all hanging out in the store, infront of the store and sitting outside all around the store. There very loud and annoying running all over the parking lot. I will never shop at this playa bowl again

Depending on what you order, it's a hit or a miss. Regarding smoothies, Sobol in New Dorp is a better alternative. Compare Sobol's "Super Green" to Playa's "Green" - Sobol Wins!

The place is clean and the food was good, but the staff was 'eh'. The girls behind the counter were openly talking bad about another team member who was not present while myself and other patrons were in the establishment. Although they were young and this isn't a corporate environment, it made the visit an uncomfortable situation.

Me and my bf have been going to playa for a minute now and things were going good until the girl asked if we wanted a bag and didn’t tell us it was 15 cents, we ask for extra Nutella which costs a $1 and they never give extra. The girls that work there seem so miserable.

Girl working behind the counter is miserable. I placed my order first and she took the customer behind me. Had to repeat my order multiple times because she had headphones in. Terrible because I love this place. Poor customer service.

Horrible bowls…… my mom and I went to pick up some açaí bowl and we didn’t realize until we got home which is 5min away that the açaí was literally water….. no only that, is that we expend $45 on those bowl……

I would recommend not overpaying and getting a mid tier bowl at best. Also not worth going in there and getting side eyed by the cashiers.

This place used to be on point. This is my second time ordering and paid for extra Nutella and both times it hardly had any. I ordered the Nutella loco so it should already have Nutella plus the extra. So disappointed after calling to learn that they could not refund me if have to call Grubhub. What a waste
