Best take out there is . just make sure if you want something specially made you ask them to repeat the order . I have been ordering from them for 30 + years and they still mess up often . They have the best Chicken and broccoli your going to find for a regular takeout restaurant . Their pork fried rice is only second to Jade Island

We were very happy to find this place The past 20+ years, their menu has added another section: Chinatown style. Our grandchildren who live in Jersey want us to bring them crunchy noodles from this place (pan fried noodles). This dish is very close to Hong Kong style. Try it, you will not be disappointed. For people who don’t know about this dish, you need to combine the sauce and the noodles when you are ready to eat, and mix them well. Their beef chow fun , wonton noodle soup etc, are also very authentic . I am very happy and satisfied.

Excellent food and great service. New go-to Chinese spot in Staten Island. Ordered the Orange Chicken (extra spicy) and Chicken Fried Rice — everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The spice level was exactly right, not watered down. You can tell they care about quality. Spoke with Jerry, who was really personable and welcoming — that kind of service makes a difference. This place honestly reminds me of the old-school Brooklyn Chinese restaurants I used to go to when I lived in Brooklyn — solid food, no shortcuts, no nonsense. I’ll definitely be coming back. This is now my go-to Chinese food spot in Staten Island.

I like Islander taste chinese food is fresh made with a lot of flavors but my complaint is when you call by phone do not ask for delivery in rush hours like lunch or dinner try pick up because the order can take a long time to be delivered in my case took 1.40hours after a couple of phone calls in case that they forgot my order. I don't know why this business isn't organized delivering the customers food on time. If you are busy and you can't handle it the amount of orders received so hired more delivery drivers to give a good service. Thank you to the young girl at the front counter for giving an excellent customer service and be patient with phone calls orders and the line but when she isn't there is a different treatment hanging the phone on you multiple times without answering definitely needs to improve.

This used to be my favorite take out place. I think they may have changed owners. The portions have gotten much smaller, the prices have gone up considerably. While I do understand the increase in prices, I don't understand why they made the portions so much smaller. The roast pork fried rice barley has any roast pork in it. I will not be ordering from here anymore.

It’s not good the lady at the front is really kind but they don’t cook the rice and make it look like it.I payed 37 dollars for 3 chicken broccoli small and an order of chicken wings.THAT IS CRAZY.The rice was hard and cold like I mentioned and it takes a lot of time for it to get here if you have a delivery.

The service is awful.... They let the phone ring and ring. When you go in to place an order, the kids they have working there are standing around playing on their phones. When you can get an order placed it comes out wrong. Anytime I got something delivered they forgot to put something in the bag, and were annoyed when they had to come back to bring the item. Very rude. Found another Chinese restaurant. No need to be abused for a greasy cold egg roll.

Notice they don’t give any sources (duck,soy). Also no napkins. Most pork is very fatty. This kind of service is not for this neighborhood.

I understand lunch crowd issues, but 46 (and counting) minutes? I might update this once I've tasted the food. UPDATE: wish I could raise the stars, but orange beef was overcooked, burnt even on one piece. I was hoping this spot would deliver on the nicer reviews I've read... It didn't. Not worth it. Will keep going to my fav spot even though further away.

We live 10-15 minutes away and we still never received the food. We then called after waiting 2 hours to cancel the order for the girl on the phone to give us a problem and then the delivery person knocked on the door five minutes later, and yelled at the youngest for being inconsiderate and for "not calling". If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. And this is not the only problem we have had with this place. We have also found bugs in our food and was over priced once. Overall, this is the most unprofessional place and I would never recommend it. Please get your business and employees in check. Thank you.
