Highly recommended! They now have 10+ kind of cream cheese much more food and drinks options. I also like their fresh baked muffins croissants and cheese Danish. New owner have made this place so much better and cleaner.

Bagels taste way better since new owners took over. They added a lot of new kind of bagels and cream cheese. French toast bagels is amazing Store look better than before.

Fast service, friendly staff and above all else, clean! Great place to come and get your breakfast from and I highly reccomend giving it a try. Also, the new owners of this place were adamant about giving their new cream cheese, home made bagel spreads a try. I will be dropping by on a regular basis from now on!

As I was passing , I visited this place for the first time . I I ordered a BLT on a plain bagel .The good thing is that the bagel was very good and the employees were friendly.The problem is that although there was plenty of bacon on the sandwich, the bacon tasted old ,chewy and salty. I would rather have a small amount of really good bacon than a large amount of bad bacon. I was really disappointed but I was able to take the bacon off and still had a pretty good sandwich ,without the bacon ... Maybe it's God's way of telling me to leave the bacon alone. I'm sure my doctor would be pleased.

This is my go to bagel store.. but something changed when ownership did.. The staff behind the counter doesn't listen to your order. I despise mayo so I would never utter those words. Bit into an egg and cheese slathered in mayo!!!!!! (WHO EATS MAYO WITH HOT EGGS????)This is the third time in two weeks they got something wrong in our order. Think this is the last time.

RIP to my favorite bagel store on the island. I rarely ever write reviews, but I LOVED this bagel spot and I wanted to pay tribute. There’s new ownership and service is terrible. I got a TBLT for dinner and a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast and neither bagel was toasted as requested and both sandwiches were so thin they were practically on ozempic. The portion sizes of the sandwich fillings are wildly underwhelming. Are they running out of food? First time is a mistake, second time I understand now that’s just how yall work now. Such a shame another island gem bites the dust.

Ever since new owner it takes 20 minutes to grab a quick half dozen bagels. Store is tiny and they have a huge island of merchandise taking up half the store and the line wraps around the island. Ny the time u are done waiting 10 minutes in line they won't even fulfill your bagel order and tell you to order at the bagel counter but they do not have an employee manning the bagel counter. Just walked out, not dealing with the rudeness. The bagels are not even crispy like they used to be they are mush. I will buy Dave's Killer Bagels going forward and support an American company that employs Americans.

Fresh bagels, great breakfast sandwiches, bagels are big! Def worth it. Update January 2026 I’m not sure if it’s new ownership or not, but the bagels are not the same. The cinnamon raisin bagel was not good, I also got a bacon egg and cheese in an onion bagel, and it’s just terrible. No bacon, and the bagel just doesn’t taste any good. The bacon is barely cooked as well. This place definitely fell off. It’s worth making the trip to either bagel land or poppy seed down the other end of forest ave.

This was once my favorite Deli, I’ve been a patron of the business for many years! I just called to place an order like I’ve done many times before, and whoever I just spoke to on the phone really shouldn’t work in customer service! When I asked to place an order he had a nasty attitude as if I was bothering him, he took my orders but kept repeating the orders wrong after when I tried to confirm that he got the orders right he hung up. I then called back to confirm if he got the orders right and didn’t just hang up on me after asking a question, then he got more upset and said he has 25 people in the store and it’s busy, now I understand a busy business, but that’s no way to treat a customer! I expressed that to him and he didn’t care, so I cancelled my orders. I’d be a fool to spend money in a place that treats me like that, never again!

Tried once again to come back to our regular bagel store but it’s just not the same. Barely any spread on any of the bagels with whatever they decided to actually put on all centered in the middle so you get a mouthful of cream cheese in the middle and bare bagel on the edges. Cinnamon raisin lacked any flavor of cinnamon and barely any raisins. Of 4 sandwiches only 1 looked to have a regular amount of spread that I didn’t need to fix myself at home to make sure my bagel was halfway decent. Thought maybe it was a one time thing but clearly more training is necessary if it’s a constant problem among customers. A previous review I left boasted flavor and decent sandwiches but this visit left waaaaaay more to be desired.

This was my cream cheese bagel, toasted but was still super soggy and not even fully cheesed. Plus the cream cheese they use.. the quality is disgusting. It’s like cottage cheese. Never again.

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I’ve been coming to this bagel store for years and when the new owners were taking over they assured me that everything was going to stay the same! Same suppliers same quality “if it’s not broken we’re not gonna change it”. LIES! I went last week and my BEC had a half a slice of cheese on it and 2 half slices of bacon and I was disappointed but thought it was a fluke. I went back today and my bagel looked like this. Needless to say I’m so disappointed and I guess I’ll have to find a new bagel shop.
