Great local Chinese place. They are always so pleasant and nice. The fried rice is definitely one of my favorites, chicken with garlic sauce and their mei fun. The noodles soups are yummy as well!. Food is ALWAYS consistent and fresh, very important to have fresh and consistency! Thanks ho wok

This was a wonderful experience though I haven’t had chinese food before it was a new beginning. I ordered the general Tso chicken with beef lomei combo and it was delicious! With the beef lomei though it was extra it was still beefy as heck! Will definitely buy from here again!!!

The hot and sour soup is the best in the island today I ordered the general toast chicken, which was delicious and it was just the amount of syrup and taste. The spiciness is not that much but that’s what most restaurants do. The fried rice was delicious as well. It had a lot of flavor and lots of pork which they didn’t charge me, so that’s always good. Also the place was clean, professional and gorgeous. I recommend this place 10 out of 10 I will return every day just to see Vincent.

Lovely dinner I had with my SO we ordered dumplings 🥟 and the lemon chicken! It tasted marvelous and had a unique taste that is very different from other Chinese restaurants! Prices can be said in the same regards very well priced and good quality. #1 Ho Wok!! In NY The BBQ pork buns are very enjoyable and it doesn't take long to cook. The buns actually taste like those you may find at restaurants

just ordered the chicken wings I've been going to this place for about 15 years since ever since the owner changed and taste has never changed at all. It is delicious I love my egg drop soup every day. And the boy in the counter he is really nice and axe professional all the time. To be honest this is the best family restaurant I've ever seen

This is a take out restaurant , i have eaten at no less then thirty Chinese restaurants since I moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island . Ho Wok is the best Chinese take out , not dine in restaurant but take out is the best. They change their oil and the food is fresh , everything is extremely flavorful and tasty . The roast pork and oyster sauce is amazing, the sesame chicken is great, the shredded beef with garlic sauce is the bomb , the soaring are great, crab Rangoon is a great appetizer. I have sampled almost all their items and they are all very tasty, their soups are second to none , especially the wonton . The entire family is Piotr and nice including their young sons whom been working their since children. Delivery time is fast . No less barbecue ribs are also great , non fatty not hard to chew and sauce is great . Whatever dinner combo I order I get a pint of water heat it’s and baby corn in garlic sauce to toss into my meal . This is my go to Chinese all the time for 18 years . And I have ordered for family functions this Chinese food for 30 people at a time many times and not one person didn’t like the food. If you are complaining about this food I can can guarantee you are pretty much going through life complaining about everything .

Recently placed an order at this Chinese restaurant and I must said the experience was exceptional and the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly young man behind the counter we talked a little and to my surprise is excellent customer service skills sets the tone for the entire meal I started off with the general tso chicken here which was a perfect balance of flavor of spicy and tangy and of course our direct and the boy recommended me dumplings I don’t know what dumplings. He told me the shrimp dumpling was delicious and so too was sesame chicken I also bought the general toast chicken all three of them I shared it with my wife and kids and to my surprise it was crispy and was better than anything I’ve ever tasted sure it might be better if there were less sugar and oil used but the most important thing about this meal was how excellent the service and quality was. I WILL BE RETURNING! BEST IN THE ISLAND. PRICES JUST RIGHT

I have been ordering from Ho Wok for the past year. I not really sure what these comments are referring to but, the customer service I receive has been top notch! The boys answering the phone are so nice and friendly. The prices are extremely affordable and the food is good. Never had to send back my food once within the year of ordering from them. - green valley

Very mid 3/5: This is the house special lo mein no pork. The noodles was very soft and I couldn’t get a taste. Although it didn’t have a taste it wasn’t nasty but it definitely wasn’t 4 and above. Quick delivery and my small pt with a brisk was $9.00. I wouldn’t recommend this location

The food is great! Very prompt service but a little upset that they nickel and dime their consistent customers…on 2 different occasions, first time they charged .50 for house hot mustard after I spent $85 on food. Tonight I spent $45 and was yet again charged .50 for house hot mustard. It’s a little ridiculous in my opinion.

I ordered the general chicken lunch special with chicken lo mein and an egg roll. I was charged more for the lo mein which is understandable but $2 more for an egg roll that should come with a lunch special egg roll was half the size of other places also.
