This is the second time I come into this KFC the first time that I came it was a very nice pleasure. They treated me just fine this time around on this Sunday I came in. The young lady that took care of me looked at me and said what do you want Instead of saying how can I help you welcome to KFC I was very polite to her and she was very in the rude side. I wasn’t expecting that from this KFC since the last time I came, there was so pleasant. PS: before I left, the young lady that had taken care of me, called me to the side to apologize for her behavior and that she never had someone come in and be so kind and nice to her so I accepted her apology and I spoke to her and told her that not everybody is the same but a little bit of courtesy does not hurt anyone so I give her thumbs up for her courage on having the strength on apologizing on her behavior
Update, 10/6/23 — I added a star to overall rating because I think the first day I went (Monday) had a lot to do with lack of inventory. I went back on Friday and they did have fries and biscuits this time. Still no AC in dining area though and a few tables were really messy. If half stars were an option I’d make their overall rating: 2.5 (they seem to always be understaffed—just two workers handle drive thru, online orders & food prep, so sometimes you’re standing at register waiting for a few minutes. On a positive note, the food was nice and hot. Original Post, 10/1/23 — CONS: No fries. No biscuits. (Technically, no $20 Fill Up boxes because of no fries & no biscuits.) No AC in the dining area. A fly zooming around table (but front door opens a lot, so not much can be done). No spoons/sporks (only forks). | PROS: Nice interior decor. Employee held door open for person with a cane. Substituted mashed potatoes with gravy for no fries. | FINAL THOUGHT: Those Hot & Spicy wings that Coach Prime, Shedur Sanders & Yung Miami are doing ads for are “bull junk.” KFC’s latest menu offering is more overrated than Colorado before they played Oregon. I actually put hot sauce on mine (because the only dominant flavor profile I picked up was that of a salt, tasted like a “spicy” seasoning salt from the dollar store). It should also be noted: Regarding all the basic items this KFC was missing: It was 1:30 pm in the afternoon on a weekday; you would’ve thought it was 1:30 AM on a Sunday to be devoid of so much inventory. If you decide to go here, make sure to request napkins, utensils & condiments, as they no longer automatically put it in your bag (due to a new law).
Today, I witnessed an unpleasant situation at the establishment. A black girl with light eyes seemed to have forgotten that she works with people. We need to be kinder to others and show understanding and patience.
Food is delicious but they are very dirty here. If your bathroom is filthy, your restaurant is filthy. I asked them if I could use the women's bathroom and being that I am unhealthy and look like a man on two occasions they buzzed me into the men's bathroom.
First of all I’m never coming back here. My bowl was cold and gave me a spoon!!!!! Who eats chicken with a spoon. The drive through chick was hella rude. I only go to kfc for the famous bowl. without that I see no reason to be here. You need employees you care. This chick obviously doesn’t. She should be retrained on how to speak to customers and make people want to come back to this establishment
I paid almost $70 dollars for an incomplete order also NEVER They answered the phone to give me a solution, it’s simply a disappointment to look forward to your order and that half is missing!!!! There was no coleslaw, no mashed potatoes, there was no macaroni and cheese either
It is hard to believe this place is still open. It has been downhill for 10 years now. Right next to it is Boston Market which is now CLOSED. I believe the wrong establishment got closed. I ordered the chicken family meal and I swear the chicken must have gotten re-fried at least 3x. It was burnt and soaked with oil. I figured I would outsmart them by requesting a fresh batch and waiting 45 minutes. Well...they got the last laugh. NEVER AGAIN!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
I personally would never write reviews but this NEED to be heard. I ordered online thinking that this time maybe my order would be not missing anything, but apparently I was wrong. I ordered the family combo with 6 chicken tenders and 2 sides. The sides I choose was 1 smash potatoes with gravy and fries, including adding 2 extra sides that was 1 salad and 1 large Mac and cheese. What i did NOT received was my 6 chicken tenders and my large Mac and chicken. Not ONLY that but they apparently put 2 smash potatoes and 2 gravy in my ordered which I did not ORDER. PLEASE check your order. This kept happening to me in the past as well but I never spoke about it till now. Aside from that, they are clearly understaffed- when I was waiting to my pick up order there was 1 other person waiting for their order on the line and maybe helping someone doing the drive thru. Yet they were SO busy- if they can't even manage this much people just WHAT they would do when there's a rush.. If you're going to order anything from here. Re-check your order PLEASE.
I don’t even like writing reviews but this location has wasted so much of my time. Idk how an entire staff sucks at their job. Like even the people who’ve been there. An I don’t think I’m better then anyone but bro …. It’s fast food, not rocket science, there’s no heavy lifting , no critical thinking skills required, just heat up frozen food.i’ve never seen staff look so lost in my life. There’s NEVER anyone at the register, there’s never anyone paying attention to the front for the delivery drivers. All in the back doing what ? Not making food cause it’s always crowded, you’re always waiting. Then they have the nerve to be rude like they not wasting your time 😂 . Please corporate send help . Staten Island is suffering
I told the lady behind the counter if she worked for me I would fire her. I have never been in this KFC before. She just did not like her job, did not like being at work, or just didn’t like dealing with people. This is one of probably five or maybe six at the most bad reviews I’ve ever written for anyone or any business. Hopefully the food is good.
If you’re not aggressive you’ll wait 3 days for your pick up order. They handle one person at a time then walk away. WHY can’t I pick up my food in the drive thru?! They make you come inside for a mobile order. Meanwhile the only register that works is the drive through! So they take your order at the counter then walk back to the window, further slowing down the horrendous process. I gave them a couple chances. I’ll never be back.
This place is absolutely horrible. They are dirty rude and they eat while making peoples food. Do better.
I rarely bash an establishment but, this one is the winner of the “lacking in every dept. Award” . This place is Horrible , slow, and lacking in basic communication skills . There were only 3 people on line and 1 uber guy waiting. They managed to make it a 25 min wait , all while the line built up to 8-9 people now. I was yelled at by a clueless lil manager lady, for asking for an update and for pointing out that there was no control over the customer line. People were skipping each other in frustration of the managements inability to get it straight. They were saying This had happened countless times . The workers in back were clueless and seemed to only care about who was complaining, rather than working on the orders. They kept naming me and 2 others by name (I ordered via app and assume they did too)! This obviously made me weary enough to where I cancelled my order, put a complaint in, and made sure I was refunded! they all stared as my food finally was served and I was sure my food was tampered with! If it wasn’t, that’s up to the universe to sort out but, either way that’s what happens when your not ensuring a customer’s comfort level. I definitely felt like I should have matched their energy but, I chose the diplomatic route. All in all, I was refunded!
Staff has an attitude, the manager has an attitude and was not even helping. They hid in the kitchen and won’t even see the customers & first it was suppose to be a drive thru pickup order then I was told no come inside then I was told wait 8 minutes which it was not & I had to wait 35 minutes to get my pick up order which the app told me it was ready.
Very Rude customer service. The old lady in drive thru is very rude .Can't even hear her from the mics when ordering.WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GOT THERE.very unsatisfied with service. The service is terrible. I placed an order on online at 6PM and arrived at 6:30 to pick it up because the app said the order was ready. When I arrived the restaurant, it was filled with people to pick up orders. There was only 3 people working. When I asked someone, I was told to wait. I waited till 7PM to get my order. If I didnt pay for the order already, I would have walked out. Avoid this KFC at all cost. I should have have went to Popeyes down the block but was craving KFC. I will never return to this restaurant. Now I know why all the KFCs are closed down. With service like this, it's gonna close down soon too!
I’ve been to many kfcs and this is by far the worst. I preordered my food and still had to wait 20 minutes. They didn’t have my son’s juice so instead of offering to replace, they didn’t give me anything for him to drink (kids meal). I had to tell them to replace it. They also forgot the fries that came with the kids meal as well. I ended up making fries at home to complete his meal. Also they weren’t taking orders or picks ups through the drive through which was super inconvenient for not only us but also for other customers who had to wait for a response (there was no sign that the drive through was closed.) Finally, there was sauce all over the inside of my bag which made everything inside sticky. Will definitely stick with Popeyes for now on.
The workers are soo rood. Yeah they have a drive through but god forbid you try to use it they get nasty and tell you to come inside. Try to order food they try picking the sides for you. Talk about low hiring standards. Will never spend a dime there. And they should fore the night shift and get people with better attitude ill be filing a conplaint with corporate
Been coming here for over 40 years and never once had a problem until last week. Ordered a bucket (which btw, isn’t cheap!) and some other items. Drove to my destination in NJ and took a bite and the chicken had a really strange smell and taste, so I tried another piece—same story! The entire bucket was inedible! Didn’t want to risk food poisoning so I threw it all away. Tried to call but nobody picks up the phone. Guess that was the last time I’ll ever enjoy KFC—at least in Staten Island.
Only reason I am writing thus review is because I too did not receive a receipt when I asked for one. First I have to say it was a three person operation, manager and two other staff. I had to wait while the manager was having difficulty taking a drive thru order, she went to a side room where supplies are seen, comes out to the window to address that customer. The other staff member who is preparing the orders, comes over and takes my order after I waited for a few minutes and yes they were working hard on getting the food out, then the manager comes up rings me up while the worker brings my orders of two of the two piece chicken meal which comes with two sides biscuit and a drink, manager rang me up said it was $19.00 even, I asked for a receipt and she told me this register is not giving receipts and your order is $19.00 even. Aside from the chicken being good, I quickly did the math, orders are $9 and change, She could have given me a receipt from the drive thru cash register one would think if the customer asked for one. I think NYC Consumer Affairs or the better business bureau should visit this establishment. I agree with previous review who is taking pocketing the money. Last visit to this establishment.
5/27/25 - The service was provided by the same manager that was previously located on New Dorp & Hylan Blvd. I ordered 2 of their $10. Tuesday, one regular & one crispy. I received 5 tiny drumsticks, 3 small thighs on the extra crispy order & and the same for the original order. I also ordered a specialty bowl, which was half full. Paid cash was and was charged $29.40. No receipt was given. Reenter the store and request the receipt. With tax, the order came out to $29.00. Who is pocketing the extra change? Pay with your credit cards, people! The location WAS my favorite! NOTE THE WAS!
Craving KFC, I decided to indulge myself in their only Tuesdays $10 deal. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge mistake and a regret. The chicken itself was a disaster. Eight pieces of original recipe dark meat were dripping with oil, the breading was soggy, and some parts were even burnt black on the outside. But the worst part was the inside. Several pieces had a disturbingly bloody tinge, completely unappetizing. To top it all off, there was a strange fishy smell to some of the chicken, and a couple of pieces even had an unmistakable odor reminiscent of chicken feces. Needless to say, the entire meal was inedible. This experience completely ruined my KFC craving and left me feeling disgusted. For the price, I expected much, much better. I would strongly advise anyone considering this deal to think twice before wasting their money.
