It was really busy. Got our subs in about 5 minutes. Super fresh, hot, consistent portions on both sides of sandwhich. Very very clean restaurant. Great employees. One of my favorite firehouses ive been to

They have one of the best steak and Cheese sandwiches. They will grill onions peppers and add mushrooms in if you ask for it. They will add extra provolone and steak if you request it. All their sandwiches are good, but the steak & Cheese I think is the best.

Great food, spic & span clean dining area, great people. Over an hour away, going back asap.

New place in town. Very friendly and welcoming crew. Loved to see the staff come over and greet all and make sure everyone was happy. The food was warm filling and tasty. Tons of high quality bread meat cheese and toppings. A welcome addition to the ville. The EMS police and firefighters were all there enjoying themselves and food. 2 coke freestyle fountain machines are fun and great for making your favorite flavor of custom drinks. Even had holiday suggestions. Highly recommend!

Got a French dip and it was very good. Plenty of meat and hot. Husband got the club and loved it. It was not cheap. And we got the large sandwiches. 40 bucks. Wish they had a value menu. But we did have enough for lunch the next day unledd your really hungry and eat the whole thing that day.

It's one of my favorite places to grab lunch. Folks here are super nice. Facilities are very clean and the food is well worth the money. Service is much faster than fast food and its actually better.

This is a good location. Food was hot and fresh, staff was friendly, even had a couple of pickle buckets for sale. The NY steamer was magically delicious. I love a good hot pastrami and this one was good. Would recommend.

Not sure how to reply to FHS's response (thank you, however, for responding so quickly). I'm not sure why a 4-star review leads one to think I'm not a "fan", and frankly, sounds pretty condescending. I reserve 5 stars for places that totally knock my socks off. Our food was good, service was good, staff attitude was ok, but we feel for what we get, pricing here is expensive. So we come here occasionally for a change of pace. It's great to have this option in Stephenville, when for so long, our options were very limited. So yay! But "good", especially for the price vs. quality/staff friendliness, isn't a 5-star super experience. That doesn't mean this location is awful or that we won't return, or recommend others avoid it. It's just good. 4 stars. And I'm not going to slam the location because of the reply to my honest opinion, which I shouldn't feel I have to justify.

However, once we learned they were prone to that, we just get them ourselves. The more frustrating items are when the sandwich is completely wrong. I guess it's time to find a new sub place.

Not happy with delivery service. Order was missing an item, but FHS would only offer future store credit since delivery was via Door Dash. Why would I order again when they couldn't get my order right. Plus, when I called to complain, I was put on hold twice and then they hung up on me. Called back, put on hold, then talked to a manager who was discourteous and did not rectify the problem. Not ordering from FHS again nor using Door Dash. Train your staff better.

My friend went to order and he apparently didn’t hear him and Lee literally yelled at him. I hate to be the that guy but I’ve never experienced someone so blatantly mad to do what they’re paid to do and it’s unacceptable.

My sandwich was missing both types of mustard and the other sandwich I ordered with no mayo or pickle had both on it as well as it was missing cheese completely. Come on people.
