Mela was super sweet, cheerful, and attentive. She gave excellent recommendations and was genuine about her opinion regarding the items on the menu. I had a great dining experience and I will definitely be back to try more recommendations. I ate some sushi called something “Volcano” and Mela literally lit it on fire! Lol green flames were dope. Also had the classic orange chicken lunch special. The portions were massive so next time I probably will not add an appetizer. (Cheese rangoons were tasty)

This was my first time coming to this restaurant in Stephenville and dare I say this is one of the best spots for hibachi in the area! My meal and service was amazing, hosted by a girl named Brissa. She was attentive, sweet, and overall just an amazing server. I love a place that not only has good food but also good servers who care about the people that walk in. Definitely recommend and I am definitely coming back!

This is going to be the best Asian restaurant you can find in Stephenville as it covers all the bases from sit-down restaurant to sushi bar to regular bar to hibachi show grill!!! 🤠👍

As a parent visiting Stephenville for the weekend, we were looking for a good place to enjoy a family dinner—and Posiden’s absolutely delivered! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly. Our server, Camryn, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she was great with our younger kids, which made the experience even better. If you get Camryn as your server, you’re in great hands!

I had Camryn as my server and she was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. She never made me feel like a burden for asking for stuff and she was happy to get me whatever I needed. I will definitely be coming back but only if Camryn is my server!

We got an appetizer for the table and found plenty of options to choose from on the menu. Our food arrived in due time and we found everything very tasty. The drink menu wasn't extensive but interesting. I'd recommend the Lychee Martini. A real treat! I say it was worth our time and the cost, which was not too hard to take. There was a large table doing Hibachi in another section who were celebrating a birthday and they were having a blast! It didn't affect our experience. (KInda nice actually.)

I got the Posiden special curry with shrimp and steamed rice. It had good flavor and a great assortment of vegetables. The shrimp were good. The only thing is that it could have been a little spicier. The Crab Rangoons where ok. The Stevenville roll was excellent.

This day I had the Squidlington and Philadelphia rolls in addition to the Albacore tuna sashimi. At the end I had a really nice treat which is included in the pictures with the flower. Wish I could remember the name. The Squidlington is a calamari with a bit of spicy to it. It has a great combination of flavors and it was cooked to perfection. It rates a solid 10. The Philadelphia roll is just a standard roll, smoke salmon I believe with cream cheese. Very fresh and has very good flavor. Solid 8+. The Albacore tuna sashimi I would say is the fish equivalent to a filet mignon in texture. While I did enjoy it, I believe it is a preference thing regarding the texture. I would say it reminded me of a very lighted seared ahi tuna in presentation. In good conscience I am not going to rate it this first time trying it. It was very fresh (arrived that morning), smelled good, but not my thing this time around. However, the homemade soy sauce they had it paired with was very good indeed. I had a Sapporo on tap and it was very cold and set well. 10 for that also. The last item with the flower on the plate was on the house. Something like a bombastic for one of them and then the other had a bit of a smokey flavored to it. Both were very tasty as well. Fun flavors and a nice little treat. Both of them are a high 9+. The two gentlemen behind the sushi bar are pros. The best attitudes, great service, genuinely pay attention to their customers that sit at the sushi bar and they want feedback. They have the big town flair and expertise but with a small town, friendly demeanor. The guys are both class acts!!! 10 all around.

The hibachi is very fun and offers an affordable lunch option. We took our kids, ages 5 thru 9, and they absolutely loved it. The child portions were quite large. The hibachi was quite entertaining for our entire family. We’ve only been during lunch and service is not particularly fast, but we’re not usually in a hurry. Overall it’s a great place and we’ll keep returning. Our last server, Yosef, was very nice and very attentive.

Okay. By far, THE BEST SUSHI & HABACHI place we’ve ever been to. Drinks were great. My daughter loved her sushi. Our habachi shrimp steak and chicken was WOW. So full of flavor! We got our favorite “sexy sauce.” The cook was amazing with our 6 year old too! He sang to her with his ukulele Xs 2 and it was just so much fun! Thank you all for a great core memory!!!

The food was so freakin good, my very favorites are their dragon roll and sea monster roll. I got to eat sea animals i thought would never grace my mouth. I ate way too much food and threw up in the parking lot and that was really embarrassing but it was not because the food was bad its because it was so good i kept eating it way too much. After i cleaned up and i went home i was yearning for them again so i would do it all again to eat that sushi in my mouth. 1000000/10.

Sashimi was fresh and thick! Presentation was beautiful. We got the Sashimi Deluxe, Poseidon roll and a bottle of wine. Loved it and very worth the money. Nice atmosphere.

Great sushi! Good service and atmosphere

Our food was good, but there could have been a bit bigger of a serving for the hibachi meals. Our chef was good and entertaining. Our server was kind and quick to give us refills. Just overall was quiet and slow, which isn’t bad but isn’t inviting to fun conversations. Our server was Iqbal, and again he did amazing!

The portion size for the hibachi steak dinner was small, the steak was over cooked, and the shrimp on the shrimp teriyaki was also overcooked. The Hawaiian shrimp was very good. The wait staff was kind but not very attentive, we had water and mine didn't get refilled until I got the waitresses attention. They were not very busy so this was a bit frustrating. There are other similar restaurants in the area with larger portion sizes higher quality food and better service at a reasonable price.

We ordered the Mexican roll which was pretty good it had nice flavor. We also ordered the Atlantis and treasure island, both were ok. The presentation was very nice but they lacked flavor. If you go for lunch… I don’t recommend the lunch rolls.

Service is never great but today I had the worst experience with the service. There were 3 total tables in the restaurant. Took 5 minutes to be acknowledged for a drink order. There was an employee leaning on the bar just looking around. Ordered the chicken skewers and the flavor was great but the chicken was overcooked and hard to chew. Took him forever to come back so I could order more. I asked him what all came on the tuna avocado salad and he said he didn't know. It wasn't a big deal so I just ordered it and asked for sauce in the side. He brought it out with the sauce. When I brought it up to him he said that they only make it with the sauce because it's weird without. I'm sorry, what?? Upon completing my meal it took another several minutes before getting my check. Food was alright, service was terrible.

The hostess, Saige, was very rude and seemed distracted. This is not my first time coming to Poseidon or having Saige as a hostess while ordering takeout. I initially believed it might have just been a bad day or something of that nature; unfortunately, it now seems to be a recurring issue when she is working.

Very disappointed in my first experience here yesterday. I ordered one meal (that came with a side) with an additional side that I had to pay extra for. I had to drive 15 min there and 15 min back home, delivery was not an option because of distance. When I got home, I realized the side that came with my meal was missing. The meals only have two options for a side when ordering online, so I was extremely bummed to be missing one out of only three items total. The ticket even stated my meal, the side it came with, and the additional side I paid for. When I called to let them know, I had to call four times before someone even answered the phone. Finally when they answered, I explained to the person at the front what had happened. She went and got her manager. When the manager answered the phone I expressed my disappointment, as I had to pay $3.50 for an additional side and didn’t even get the one that always comes with the meals. The two sides were going to be the meal for my toddler. I told her because of the distance I drove and my toddler I was unable to make the drive back there. She said that because I could not drive back to pick up the rice that same night there was nothing she could do for me. I did not appreciate her lack of customer service, the tone used, and the lack of options to make it right (if I didn’t drive back that same night there was nothing they could do? What about offering a side of rice next time I came in? A $5 gift card for my next visit? Something to offset the $22 I had to spend for receiving 2 out of only 3 items?) I don’t feel it is very professional to tell a customer there is nothing you can do to make something right that was the fault of the restaurant. On a positive note, the food I did receive was absolutely phenomenal. I would have been very excited to eat there again, but customer service is too important for the price I had to pay.

I love the food here but the management is rude and today when I went I happened to notice that the cups all have a disgusting yellow/orange grime on the inside. Every single cup at our table had this COVERING the inside of the cup. They rang in 2 sushi rolls when I only asked for 1 and when I told the server, she just stood there and stared at me and then I had to pay for both of them anyway because I knew management would be useless or rude based on past experience. I want to love this place but constant bad experience is making me rethink coming here.

Food was TERRIBLE. It had no flavor what so ever. The shrimp and steak were bland. And very little of vegetables. AND $23 per each steak plate was not worth the nasty food. Service was good. Atmosphere was good as well. But I would NOT RECOMMEND.
