The chorizo & egg breakfast burrito is a must try here. I’ve been to different places for burritos ,but never had to write a review for any of them. Amazing flavor! Strongly recommend.

Food was so good! This was my second time at this truck and the food was so flavorful and delicious. The staff have been very friendly each time. Purchased a chicken burrito and a vegetarian burrito with sides of lemons and radishes and jalepeños. You also get your choice on the spiciness of the food. Perfect for a quick bite to eat. The food always comes out hot and fast. Not long of a wait. If you haven't been here before please go! Location is in the parking lot of an orange Grillunese restaurant.

On my way to see an old prune that posted a craigslist add that said "Authentic WWII Flame Thrower..not used since 1945 complete with 2 gel packs!" So, I called the lady...and asked where she got it, her husband brought it back from Iwo Jima after the war she said, then she said the first person to hand her the cash gets it. Well, I raced down there and sure enough it was gone..who'd of thought. But, those tacos sure made the trip worth while! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

A delicious permanently, non moving restaurant taco truck look alike. I love (I call MA) that works in the kitchen and at windows. She's a great woman and wonderful cook. Amazing food MA. Keep it up everyone. My boss and I eat there at least once to twice a week. TY for the delicious Mexican food. We of course will be coming back for more. Over and over agian! Now breakfast. Thank you guys for serving breakfast now. My boss and I were waiting for that. 😀

Easy in and out location. Drive thru is very convenient for late night craving. The food is awesome however the rice is not fully cooked. Will try again.

I always come here when I want something fast and good taste. Lately I've found myself thinking twice when I want to eat from there. Don't get me wrong I like the food, the taste, and quality. But I always order the salsa separate, and that exactly what they don't do. By the time I get home my food gets soggy so please just try not to put salsa when they say it's separate thank you.

Otherwise the two employees in the truck are very friendly, and attentive and it seems they make the food to order as there is somewhat of a wait, which can get somewhat crowded and awkward while you wait and stand around in the parking lot of what seems like an old gas station. They do have a small picnic table set covered by a carport which seems nice if you wanted to eat there on a slow day.

Order was wrong. They always add what you dont ask for.. I asked for 5 items in my burrito and got 6.. not everyone likes ur beans!! No extra salsa or jalapeno bag added in order. I even ordered in spanish so they wouldn't get my order wrong.. 🙃 And they dont answer their phone!

I don't know if they are under new management or what, but, yesterday my husband and I went to go get their delicious tacos, we love their tacos de lengua, always served hot, juicy and when asked with everything on it, it is a yes, yes, yes! My husband switched this time and ordered a lengua burrito. I should have known when I asked for salsa Verde and Roja on the side, the young girl said, ask at the second window, that was a first, so I did, looked like new people, got our order and left. To our surprise, no salsa, but, jalapenos, lemon and radishes, (yes maybe I should have checked), now you know it's not the same without salsa on your tacos. My tacos were warm, dry and flavorless. My husbands burrito was worse, beans were hard, rice was hard, both not cooked through, meat was dry and flavorless. Had to throw away the burrito, I doctored up somewhat the tacos, I should not have had to do that. It was a great disappointment, we have been going there for years. Managers check on the quality of your food, you will lose customers like us, and, we will be letting others know to.

Tried it for the first time tonight on my way bacl from work. Got thr regular burrito. Was already mad at the price of $10.36 tax included. While it wasnt terrible i Was Hpset cuz of the price. It was Asada hot sause. The meat was a bit too salty and i like salt but this was a bit much. Meat was also a bit dry. I had to double check why the rice was crunchy. Tasted half undercooked and some was over and too mushy. Did they mix 2 different batches idk. But over i wont go. Too pricy. To salty. I know they work hard but if im gonna pay the price of a sit down meal the food better be top notch and ...it was subpar..sorry. clean area though. Well lit. Clear menu

This place is good when they follow instructions, I ask for extra red Hot sauce in the food and the lady either doesn’t understand and ends up putting no hot sauce at all, just dry, the hot sauce is what gives the burrito the flavor, It would be great if they got the orders as asked for…..

I’ve always gone to El Grullense on waterloo and charter /Wilson way ta or truck locations for years. I tried the new location and ordered 3 super burritos, 2 chicken tacos plain and add cheese (was given asada no cheese, but charged for it) and also 3 super chicken tacos everything with verde chile and 3 asada super tacos verde chile). Asada had no cheese or sour cream with red sauce (was charged for super cost) and chicken tacos were correct. Was told the total was $59.98, my bank Acct shows $69.98 charged. Bad experience. Wrong order and over charged. I’ve tried calling multiple times and no answer at the number listed for the business. Had high hopes and was a disappointment. Myself I’d eat whatever even a wrong order, those with kids know it’s a big deal to get home and have the incorrect food/toppings. For reference of the quality of service….it wasn’t busy, one car ahead of me and nobody behind my car.

I didn't like how my tacos had no cilantro, and how the tortillas fall apart. I have given this place a couple chances, but it seems to be inconsistent. poor tacos for how simple they are made

I am very disappointed in the quality of the food served. I ordered two regular asada burritos. One with Cilantro, no onions with red sauce on the side. The other with everything and red sauce on the side. The burritos cost $9.50 a piece. When I get home, I noticed there were no beans in them, they only had Asada meat and rice with mega amounts of onion and no Cilantro. They were dry and did not taste good. I wasn't given the red sauce for either burrito either. I called and called to let them know, but no one ever answered. For the $21.71 that I spent on two burritos, I should've gone down the street and bought hamburgers and fries with drinks for the same amount! Needless to say that I will not ever patronize El Grullense on Charter Way/Hunter Street again. It's the new building that looks like a Taco Wagon.

this place NEVER GETS ORDERS CORRECT pita hella onions on tacos that you can’t enjoy it! rice filled burritos i tried it out thinking ok one mistake twice ok lol mistake but every single time!! then the cashier says no that’s what you said! very disappointed NEVER WILL I GO BACK! i give 0 stars not even worthy of 1. meat dry and unflavored.

I've been here twice in September, I was treated once an decided to give it a second chance. This time I had a el Pastor burrito the meat wasn't fresh it was a dryyyy burrito. Couldn't taste the salsa or the Love just not what I'm use to here in Stockton.

I was a good customer here but today I went to order and ask for a glass of water they tried to charge me 2.00 I ask them why am I getting charged for a glass of small water he said that’s what we charge and was rude if it was a sealed bottle of water ok but a small cup of water that price !me and my team will not visit this location Again

The cashier didn't take our order right. Wasn't really listening. Missed one of our burritos. The rice was crunchy. The meat lacked flavor. Just over all a bad experience. And super expensive.

Went there for three burritos…the meat was burnt, rice was crunchy and burnt. No flavor and tasted dried out even though I asked for mild sauce…it still tasted dry!! For $35…you would think it would be at least decent. Will no longer waste money there…had to throw it all away..that was a real waste of money!!!

Everything was and has been fine EXCEPT the fact that they tipped themselves a couple of dollars extra (I did not elect to). What was originally pending as $27.25 on my card, ended up clearing as $29.25! I’m going to start saving all of my receipts from here on out. Be cautious. I know it’s just two dollars, but it’s the principle… how many others have they done this to?…

The flavor of the food was awesome but the texture of the carne asada was awful. Guaranteed choking risk in every bite. The meat was way too chewy and that was just a taco. If only the texture is as good as the flavor then maybe I would reconsider and return another time but as it stands I wouldn't want to risk asphyxiation.

They suck at taking orders, & when you ask for a side of chiles at the window they seem to get upset and say order them while you are ordering food but when you do they still don’t add them so what’s the point if regardless you are not receiving the order as you paid for. If I could rate it a 0 I would. Asada sucks it’s dry as hell , lengua is a 50/50.
