Prosperity Szechuan Cuisine

I am a repeat customer. I enjoyed the service and flavors last time so I have to enjoy other menu items. Hot and sour soup and stir fried shrimp with green beans. My shrimp was colder rhan the green beans but that's my only complaint. It was busy during dinner hour.

I haven't had great food in a while here in California...but this place is AMAZING!! I am soooo happy to have discovered this resturant that serves true szechuan cuisine. Perfect amount of spices, that burn, and the numbing, loaded with spices: garlic, ginger, scallion. Sooooooo happy! Not only the quality, but the quantity, and it wasn't overly salty either. I ordered the fish fillet in spicy oil, and wonton in spicy chili oil. Already recommended to my friends.

A beautiful and flavorful experience having to dine in! I've came across Prosperity Szechuan Cuisine by Ubereats, it did not bold too well for me. Finding that the entrees and appetizers were the same ole fashion Chinese food. Then came across the hotpot banner in front of their door, I had to try it out one of these day. Met with a kind and gentle server with quick precision and wonderful customer service. I did not believe that one person could handle the floor when there was a mild busy night. The hotpot is to go for even if it may be a tad expensive. Having a group of 3-4 really helps with the price. We gotten the Szechuan hot pot (mild for my taste) but do beware it is spicy. The aroma, flavor and taste of the broth is to die for! There is the option of "best of both world" half Szechuan, half very down to earth mild and gentle broth. Each item, and the broth will be charged according to the price. Veggies are less costly $5-10, meats are about $10-16 each. There are a lot of options and a good proportions of side to include in the hotpot. Kobe briskets, regular briskets, fish, shrimp etc. Alot of veggies as well, in house dumplings, sauces, etc. The must try would be the quail eggs, Kobe beef and the angus beef in the hotpot. Topped off the the sesame garlic oil either dipped or mixed in the szechuan broth... With rice of course! Everything came out very fast, and gone in an instant. I would come here again just for the hotpot. Tip: if your burner runs out of fuel just ask for more. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This restaurant smells oh so good. We were seated upon entering there was no wait time. Our server Jin provided excellent service. We ordered for appetizers Egg Rolls and for our entree Chicken Fried Rice, Szechuan Chicken & Sweet and Sour Chicken. The food was served piping hot with lots of flavor. We definitely plan to come back again

Absolutely love this place! Got myself the Won-Ton soup Deluxe and egg rolls and let me tell you…this was 10/10 all around. Amazing staff, amazing food and atmosphere is a whole vibe 🙌🏼

Sichuan food cravings satisfied!!!! So happy Stockton now has Prosperity Szechuan! I have been craving Szechuan flavors (numbing Sichuan peppercorn spice, scallions, Mala!!) since I moved to a state that barely has any Asian restaurants. The refreshing cold cucumber with garlic appetizer is so good! Mapo tofu yum! The fried chicken with chili peppers as well as the fried squid tentacles with chili peppers SMACKS! I can snack on these all day. Probably the best offering Stockton has had recently (I grew up in Stockton and visiting briefly from Montana). They also have sushi but I didn't try this. They have lunch specials also on weekdays (except holidays).

3 star for atmosphere don't get me wrong. Its just not popular but that's the hidden gem. No long waits. All the dishes are specially good!!! If u like spicy and savory its awsome!!!

The food was good, server was nice. The interior is really nice and new. Not sure if it's my favorite, but it was good! I think the plates were a little strange for family style. They were very small! (See photo with my hand as reference). So when you tried to put your food on the plate you could only get a few bites at a time. They were like appetizer plates. Also the soy sauce was odd, you had to unscrew the whole top and pour it over. It was a pain. But overall a nice place to try!

Fast friendly restaurant experience with authentic Chinese food the orange chicken smells like orange I never smelled the orange in orange chicken before that's real. Food was hella fast like fast food. They also have private seating arrangements booths and open air seating with clear view of clean kitchen hella accommodating and space. They have beer and sushi nigiri Chinese and Japanese food in 1 place fast to go or dine in freshly made real authentic come thru today award winning 97th percentile restaurant IN the world TV to watch Superbowl and beer to enjoy life too

We found this place by accident one day and we have been coming back ever since. My BF and I lived in Philadelphia/ Delaware for about 4-5 years and we had grown accustomed to Szechuan cuisine out there. When we moved back home to California we had trouble finding a restaurant that served good Szechuan food. Thank the heavens we found one, we highly recommend this place!! The service is awesome and their food is even better. Try the stir fried fish with chili peppers and the fried chicken with chili peppers they’re both incredible 💕

Very nice place. Service is ***** star! We came on the recommendation of some friends (very picky eaters). My bride and I were not disappointed. Some have indicated pricing. Well this is definitely NOT a Panda Express. Pricing was on lighter side for us. Try it You will like it.

I love this place! Orange chicken was soft on the inside and beautifully crispy on the outside, best orange chicken I've ever had. Walnut shrimp also has that balance of softness inside and crunch on the outside with the most heavenly glaze. Wonton soup is also delicious, lots of tasty wontons with veggies. Rice is also really good, plus the atmosphere has nice quiet music.

As we sat the waiter came with some water and gave us time to order. We ordered The salt and pepper squid and the beef chow mein 😋 My goodness that beef was so tender and not greasy at all!!!!! Which was so satisfying. The sauce that smothered both the noodles and the beef was so savory I highly recommend!. The salt and pepper squid is a rather small plate but they do not skimp out on the squid, there is lots to go around and it is served with stir friend vegetables which enhances the plate even more. We loved it! The waiter was very kind and attentive which is very much appreciated. We will definitely come back soon!

Just found a Hidden Gem in Stockton, ca. Prosperity Szechuan Cuisine is 🔥🔥🔥. As a Private Chef I am real particular about Tofu , because it's a hit or miss. We ordered the Mapo Tofu, Chef Kiss. It was cooked perfectly the Flavors were on point, we also ordered the Shrimp Won Ton Soup that's enough for 2 people and that was Hella good. The customer service was on point and the atmosphere was very nice. We will definitely be back to eat some more good food. I think I just found my new Eatin Spot. If you want some good food stop by and tell them Chef Kwaz Sent ya!!

I ordered two beef noodles to go because I wanted the noodles and soup packed separately ( this is usually how i saw others pack noodle to go ) so I could enjoy them later. However, everything was placed together in one bowl including the soup. This is the first time I’ve seen a Chinese or Asian noodle place do that. The noodles became too soft after just a 20-minute drive home (not to mention the time they sat in the restaurant before pickup). Please improve your service by keeping the noodles and soup separate for to-go orders.
