Absolutely love Ramen 101 whenever I’m craving a good bowl of ramen, this is my go-to spot. And don’t even get me started on their edamame hands down my favorite! The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it’s still a comfortable and enjoyable place to dine. Customer service is always solid, and my boyfriend and myself genuinely love coming here.

We saw them took the bones out of the big pot of broth. So they cooked with real bones , their broth was really good. And stuffs was so good too, like black pork, egg, bamboo....

ramen was delicious! highly recommend the black garlic, it is super yummy, flavorful and a big portion. the workers there were super kind and helpful, especially the manager. will come again!

Lovely interior, a bit of a small space, yet comfy, it has tables with chairs or booth seating on one side and chairs on the other side. Once we ordered our food the sevice was quite quick. I do not think we waited even 5 minutes for our appetizers to come our and our Ramen bowls came out shortly after that. We were checked on at least once to see if we needed anything else. Our food was good I especially liked my Black Garlic Ramen Bowl. Tables were cleaned quickly once people finished their meals. Bathroom was clean and stocked.

I love absolutely everything about this place! I have for years, and I've even gotten a couple of my friends hooked on it! Everything I have tried has been to my liking, they're very accommodating. Staff are awesome as well! They're all lovely people! Good job to whoever runs this place and the staff!

I ordered the black garlic ramen and a side of musubi. The food came very quickly to my table and was very delicious. The person taking my order was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming here again. The prices are fair and the food is freshly and quickly prepared.

Went for lunch was busy but not long of a wait. Veggie tempura good but a little cakey. The star tho was the chicken ramen. The broth was real good definitely have it spicy. Will definitely be back.

After ordering, you're given a number and can sit anywhere. Water was given in clear plastic cups/lid, which was nice. The chicken katsu was pretty good. The portions were pretty big. I was only able to eat half the plate.

Wow the ramen taste so deliciously good. Pay first before you eat. Pricey but you get what you pay for and its worth it. Small place and gets full right away but you can option for a take out if its full. Definitely will come back again.

Food was amazing, staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. Napkins, utensils, sauces etc were all at the table for me which was nice. The only issue with me is how busy it can get sometimes and how small the inside is but other than that it’s a 10/10 for me. I will visit again!

I found a new favorite! Ramen 101 is very clean; good vibes for dining inside/outside. The delicious smell of seafood ramen and Hawaiian bbq drew me in. Staff were nice and server was friendly she even brought me my togo order as I was outside taking pics. The food was delicious! 😋

I gotta say, I’m from Vancouver so I was kinda spoiled when it came to ramen choices but since moving here a year ago, I haven’t found a good ramen joint. However, Ramen 101 gave me a warm familiar hug in the form of a delicious bowl of shoyu ramen. Highly recommend!

I searched for a Ramen place while I in Stockton. I was not disappointed, their chicken ramen was delicious. I had the mild one, yet I could definitely taste the spiciness in the flavor of the broth. Lots of noodles, chicken, egg & mushrooms in a tasty broth. I would be glad to visit this place again.

I searched for a Ramen place while I in Stockton. I was not disappointed, their chicken ramen was delicious. I had the mild one, yet I could definitely taste the spiciness in the flavor of the broth. Lots of noodles, chicken, egg & mushrooms in a tasty broth. I would be glad to visit this place again.

Nice well-lit interior. If you don’t mind sitting close, it’s doable. Efficient and quick service. Next time I’m going to pick from the Hawaiian BBQ menu.

Overall good, not great. The cashier appeared to be mentally preparing for the dinner rush (is how I'm going to describe it lol). Everything from the broth to starters tasted fresh, but the broth flavor tasted like it is catering to a broad spectrum of patrons (which obviously is optimal for business), I personally like mine with more flavor notes like onion, garlic, and meat flavors. BUT that obviously gives the patron the opportunity to build their preferences by adding whichever toppings they desire. If you're new to ramen (not made at home) Shoyu and chicken ordered not spicy are a notch above what instant packages provide flavor wise. If you want to have more flavor I recommend the black garlic ramen with pork spice level mild, it has smokey and toasty flavor notes with a not overwhelming meat grease taste and mouth feel that hit just right and remind me of homemade bone broths. I wish the noodles were done a little more, they had a bite to them, but that's just me I like puffy noodles. The crab Rangoon was a little sweeter than I'm used to but not as sweet as other places. They also offer rice and meat plates. Side note: adding extra toppings and noodles can quickly turn a $13 bowl into $20+ bowl. You're thinking, "Duh.", But if you go and your meal is $60+... 💁 That was my heads up....I'll be back next time I'm craving that black garlic pork ramen and prawn tempura.

Doing 4 stars until I get a few more menu tastes happening.,this was my first visit to this location as a late lunch after a few appointments.,small location but clean and friendly.,I was sure of the best Raken bowl to start with so I asked the young man working the register, and he said most people order and enjoy the black garlic soup. And so that’s what I ordered with a lemonade. I seated myself outside at one of their high table seating and mins later another young man served me my order., the presentation prior to me digging into my soup was unique and colorful. The taste was even better. Did not need to add anything extra for flavor as I asked for spicy 🌶.,was so delicious and the lemonade was refreshing. All in all a pleasant first visit. Returning soon

It took about 10-15 mins to get a seat inside because seating is very limited as the restaurant is small inside; however, the food arrived quickly after we ordered it. The ramen did not disappoint— it was full of flavor!

Ordered tonkatsu ramen and tako, portions were large and food was very flavorful. Good and quick service. You'll have to pay first at the register when ordering and get your food after. Small space, so large groups will be hard to seat

But Delicious! Servers are attentive. Atmosphere is ok. One criticism, Fountain drinks tasted nasty. Took one sip. That was it. Maybe, it’s time to check the soda machine? Will I come back again? Yes! I’ll just stay away from the fountain drinks. Safety first.

This location probably is the best Ramen 101 ! Ordered at front and paid tonkotsu $14.10 Noodle cooking well , soft but in good texture , soup base very creamy and testy ! Topping Chashu also are great , but egg is not soft-boiled egg .

This time around, I tried the Hawaiian BBQ Mix Plate, Kaki fries (fried oysters) and Spam misubi. The oysters were tasty and served hot with a siracha mayo dipping sauce. Though the BBQ plate and misubi had good flavor, the rice was not cooked well. When rice is a crucial part of a dish, it needs to be cooked properly otherwise the dish is a disaster. I was very disappointed in my meal, and so was my dad as he had the Hawaiian BBQ beef plate. According to my mom, the seafood ramen was good. Please get the rice right next time!

i like the fact that stockton still have a ramen place to go to for your ramen cravings. the restaurant is located around safeway plaza next to crumble. the dining is a bit small, good probably for 6-8 people. they have some table setup for outside dining (if the weather is nice). menu is simple and not overwhelming of choices. my favorite ramen to order is their black garlic tonkotsu ramen. i tried many ramen shop before from bay area, socal, japan to new york. but this one is bit unique. Here’s my thoughts about their ramen: - portion size: is ok, in my opinion its very small. (the bowl size is about 6in in diameter) - toppings that comes with the ramen is not much due to the size of the bowl. - broth: imo is pretty tasty, not too salty, or over power of msg. just right 👌 the reason for 3 stars is the portion. i wish they make the portions bigger. for the price you pay for your not getting your money back. also the black garlic ramen has too much garlic fillers making the ramen looks full of toppings but it wasn’t. this is just my opinion. everyone has their own personal preference when it comes to ramen. although i give this place a 3 star it doesn’t mean its a bad place. i still encouraged everyone to give it a try and see it for yourself. 👍

It's a bit pricey for what you get. The size of the dishes are a bit under ok size. Food is tasty. Service is not bad but isn't great either. It's a small place so it gets full fast.

Best tasting Raman, noodles are fresh, meat is tender, broth is creamy and delicious!, egg is always cooked perfectly. I just hate that they close early. They need to keep their lobby open longer plz, I would like to eat at late night as well.

I would order often and towards the end i stopped because i kept coming across only having like 1-2 gloves of garlic in the black garlic dish. Ok so I will not be the only one to comment. I was with 2 other people my daughter, and sister. 2 more negative reviews unless the owner can explain the price inflation. let’s start…. Before going to this location I HAD to do a review. Especially since I love making sure reviews are on spot. If the negatives reviews are the similar I stay away. First I reviewed the menu, but noticed something very weird. Stockton’s prices are being overinflated. I thought “ok it’s because it’s in the Lincoln center it’s pretty expensive to rent”, but than I noticed the prices from the SAME store branch was waaaay cheaper in the Bay Area (San Leandro). People this is the BAY AREA. I got to school in that area, and rent is 5,000 in Stockton it’s 1,500. They’re taking advantage of the fact we have limited ramen locations. The best one was the Ramen house off of hammer on which is now closed do to location, and the time it opened(early 2010’s). As a person who has traveled to Japan that location actually was more authentic. Again I will continue to post my review with different friends I take till actions or unless explanation is given. This isn’t gas ok? Don’t take advantage of people. Also to request tip for a non sit down restaurant is wrong. They take your food like the Carl’s Jr. on hammer lane. With a number, and don’t come refill your drinks at the table. This is not slander, but pure facts. I requested fish cakes, and yes I complained I didn’t get them, but found ONE😑 in the bottom with the price of ONE DOLLAR. I do have more pictures that I will post. The pros: (which is wrong to deny) certain soups were great. Mine, and my sisters very tasty. Lots of noodles, but seem store bought (Please correct me if wrong). The broth is great, and the amount of noodles is abundant…. If you want toppings expect to pay more. 2 bowls almost 40 bucks with one drink for my baby. Again I repeat YOU HAVE TO STAND UP TO GET WHAT YOU NEED. Do not tip if it’s not regular server services. I will change my review, and ask my group to change it once I get an explanation from the owner. Thank you in advance!

I came here with my husband the guy took our order we sat down my food came and not my husband and he waited 30 minutes and he went to tell the guy in the front he checked the receipts by where they prep the food and told my husband ok give me 10 minutes we’ll bring it out we waiting another 20 minutes he went in and asked for a refund and the guy said ooh you never ordered that so we waited for nothing and he even told my husband to give him 10 minutes while he makes it but waited for nothing because he never wrote the order down then the men in the kitchen starts looking at us making hand signs saying we were crazy never again coming back here.
