I’m a simple guy I go around trying carne asada tacos. Stopped by on a journey through going to sac, got a 4 plate. Bruh. Juiiiiiicyyyyy. I want to know who’s rating this less than 5, where yall getting a better taco? Deadass top 5 taco in my life for just a good quality simple juicy street taco. Bussin. I’m sure they get real elaborate here but I had to drop a review

The food is amazing and the staff were very nice people. I dropped my drink and they didn’t hesitate to help me. The staff kindly gave me another drink which Ithey didn’t have to after me making a mess. Best spot

I've honestly never been to this location, but I order from here on Doordash all the time, they constantly have Happy Hour deals going on and serve extremely good and authentic Mexican food. I've had problems ordering from other restaurants because their food is to greasy and by the time it arrives it's soaking and falling apart, but that's never been a problem here. By the time it's delivered it's still hot and not soaking in grease. I've tried all sorts of stuff from their menu and can say you won't be disappointed by a single item on it.

Came with a group, grabbed tortas, tacos, burritos, a quesadilla, quesabirria tacos & horchatas. Everything was good, no complaints. Restaurant is small and very clean. Lots of pickup orders while we were there but we didn't wait long for our food.

Excellent shrimp & fish tacos, very unique flavors. You can tell they are working hard to make something amazing. Horchata is bomb as well...

The food here is delicious! We ordered Tequileros fries and 3 super burritos and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My shrimp super burrito was a little too spicy for me so I'll make sure to order the signature Tequileros sauce on the side next time. Thank you for the tasty dinner!

So. Damn. Delicious! I feel ROBBED that I've never noticed this place in 3 years! It took a 209 tiktok food taster video popping on my feed to find this GEM! And we were not dissapointed! My husband who loves his spicy food was happy with their spicy salsa on his tacos and Birria Fries. Then Me WHO can't tolerate ANY spiciness really was THRILLED with their Tequileros sauce! So fresh tasted and tied their Birria fries together so Excellently with me taking off the spiciness!. Next time, I'll be doing the Asada on the fries and adding a scoop of rice and beans to it. The Horchata? Amazing. I love it sweet and smooth!! The Jamaica was the Best I've had! <3 no lie! My son's pretty boring with what he'll, eat but loved their burritos. Their chicken was well flavored and seasoned so well! 100/10! I even got him to taste a sauce with it! Husband tasted all tacos except veggie. He loved the chicken, and Pastor! So did I but the Pastor had a spice to it that most people love and can handle. <3 I'll definitely be back! And soon. Like, they're probably gonna get sick of me. We've been waiting too long for a taco place that was GOOD! It was VERY VERY VERY CLEAN AND CLOSE TO home. WINNING ALL AROUND. THANKS Tequileros! I wish I took photos of my husbands! Asada Tortas was great. Quesabirria Tacos amazing. Don't skip getting a couple cheese jalapeños. So simple yet so awesome.

They always get my order right and they always make sure to ask what type of salsa which might seem like a minor thing but makes a huge difference for us since some of our family members have a low tolerance for spiciness 🌶️ The food always comes out super quick and the drinks are always so good and refreshing! My son loves their horchata and I love the Jamaica! Everytime we come to sit and eat we see about 10 DoorDash orders 😅 they are always super busy but you wouldn’t know it with how quick the service is! Shoutout to all their hard working staff

The tequilero tacos were good but it didn't really hit the spot. Maybe not my preference. Might come back to try something else.

Ordered food for our co-workers here at the shop. Everyone really enjoyed there burritos, as this was a big order appreciate the quality of the food. And also the staff was super patient with us while taking the order. Definitely would consider them for future lunch orders.

We ordered 20 items to go and arrived to pickup checked our order before leaving. They only provided 2 forks, 4 napkins with our order also shorted other items in our order. They need to work better on preparing the orders. The birria and chicken was very delicious and pastor could have been better over cook and dry. We will try this place again in the future.

I often order from here twice a week to be precise and enjoy their tacos Tequieleros and the queso birria are delicious! I don't enjoy the service is very plain and unfriendly. At times they only give me a few salsas.

Food is excellent. However, never marked, so when ordering for multiple people, you can't accurately distribute. There needs to be some attention here because it's frustrating having to cut open everyone's burrito and play investigator.

Food was very good. Ordered Crusted cheese Jalapeño - was a little too cheesy for my liking but was still good. Got Shrimp tacos which was really good. The Birria style tacos was also good. Overall would visit again.

Birria tacos were really good. Flavorful. Burrito was super dry, and I asked for extra crema, but I felt like there was none at all on there. Definitely would return for the tacos. Fries were decent.

I write this not to disdain or praise, but to warn. I have been coming here since they opened and time and time again I would tell you that they are a bit pricey but have their own unique flavor and do stand out compared to most. However upon my most recent visit I suspect that the common downward spiral of restaurants could be upon them. Like most other restaurants once they gain traction they get comfortable. When they get comfortable the control of quality is loosened, and then the patrons take notice. This is what causes restaurants that were once great to close. I enjoy this establishment, but I believe they are getting too comfortable. Or perhaps it is just a fluke and I will be reassured of their unique menu upon my next visit. However as of now I will say I think they are losing their drive and getting lazy.

On one occasion I ordered 3 asada burritos with mild sauce, got home they were all red sauce. Took a couple of bites had to eat something, I called the location to let them know the young lady asked for pictures of our food I told her they were in the trash. It was late I night I was not going to go back, her question “so what are you wanting me to do about it, if you don’t have pictures and we are closing”won’t be going back.

I'm never going here again. Rather go to El Grullito on Pacific. I just wanted some asada fries. I like them spicy. I ordered, and the cashier forgot to ask me basic questions. It usually goes "What type of meat?" "Hot or mild? Or none?" and then " Here or to-go?" She asked what type of meat, but that was it. I was told my total. Luckily, she assumed right that I was for to-go, but I clarified (without her even asking) that I wanted red sauce (It was the whole reason I went in the first place). I went to get the cheese covered burrito with such anticipation after seeing it on Instagram and was beyond disappointed. Besides the dripping all over grease the cheese was super gummy and not crispy at all. Gross is my only way to explain it. A waste of $17 for sure.

The service was good and the atmosphere was good. However, the food I order was horrible. I ordered 3 regular shrimp burritos and they weren’t good at all. First off the shrimp had no flavor, the burritos were small as heck. I had more tortilla than burrito and overall the burrito didn’t have a good taste at all. This location is going down hill because this is not the only time I had bad experience with their food over the past few visits. They need an another new EXPERIENCE cook and people in the kitchen that put they love into making food. This use to be my favorite spot but now I will have to travel and check out the other location on west because I wouldn’t dare waste my money here again for the third time around.

Not worth the $16 + tax I paid for, I will never purchase here again. I'd rather drive to Sacramento and hit up and taco truck there and than Vista again. Straight rip off

Ordered through door dash and got a carne asada burrito. Half way through the burrito I found a cockroach. I’ve order many times before this is the first time I’ve experienced this, none the less it is gross and proves they clearly have a roach 🪳 issue.

Edited. From 5 stars to 1. Food was down right cold, and I was there before it was ready. They've messed up too many times for my taste. From getting the order wrong to forgetting to put salsas in the bag. Now cold food. This was our weekly work order, so I've been plenty of times. It's been on a downward slope. Sad to see. The taste of their food is phenomenal. Service is always quick. Clean spot. New favorite for sure. My only criticism is I've been 5 times now and only one time the food was remotely hot by the time I got it home, and I don't live far. Luke warm at best. Obviously not keeping me from going back but a little irritating for sure.

Husband and I had the chicken super burrito and an asada taco. In my opinion both items had extremely dry meat and not seasoned well at all. The only thing that helped the burrito was the taquilero sauce. The cashier was nice and the atmosphere was good, but the food was not worth it.

Customer service is lacking. Food used to be great not so much anymore they give more beans than meat. Food doesn't taste fresh taste like it's been sitting for a while. Nope I don't recommend if it's gonna cost then it should at least be fresh and good.

The food was good until this time I had it as they opened and the meat was cold and tough. It was like they overly sauced the meat to try to hide that they used yesterday's meat. It was also the greasiest burrito while the other times it wasn't that greasy. I suggest do not eat early in the morning and wait until they don't use leftover meat. My wife's torta was the same but at least the cheese and bread were hot.

I used to love this place, sadly just like every other place in Stockton they started off great and went down hill fast. High turn over in employees, I have never had the same person take my order twice. They used to put onions and jalapeño on every plate of tacos and now they dont put any even when you specifically ask them too. The more branches they make and the more they expand the more their quality goes down. Ill be looking for a new place to go from now on.
