Opinions de The Restaurant at INNESS Stone Ridge
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at INNESS, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the very first moment, the service was truly exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The food was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared - simple in the best possible way, exactly what we were in the mood for. We enjoyed dishes like avocado toast and a beautiful plate with eggs, bacon, and vegetables on the side, as well as a great hamburger option for the kids. Everything was flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying without trying too hard. The setting is absolutely stunning. The views are breathtaking - truly next level - and the entire space is beautifully designed. Every detail feels intentional: the furniture, the tableware, the overall aesthetic. It’s stylish yet cozy, elegant but not pretentious, and incredibly pleasant to sit in. What made the experience even more special was how welcoming it was for families. The restaurant manager kindly gave the kids straws, which they happily took outside to play with. Such a small gesture, but it made a huge difference - the kids had an amazing time, and we could really enjoy the moment. As a bonus, right outside the restaurant there’s a lovely shop filled with beautifully designed items, which is absolutely worth a visit. Overall, INNES offers a perfect combination of outstanding service, delicious food, breathtaking scenery, thoughtful design, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. I highly, highly recommend it and would happily come back again.
The food is soulful and the views are amazing! All the dishes we got were great, especially the marinated mushrooms, pomodoro pasta, and the dark chocolate mousse. The servers are very nice and the place has a farm-to-table vibe. Would highly recommend.
Lovely evening to sit back and relax. We enjoyed the food and the service and the atmosphere. Planning a return visit.
We had the pleasure of dining at Inness in for my birthday dinner, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The food was delicious— beautifully prepared, seasonal, and full of flavor. Each dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and you could really taste the care that went into it. A special shout-out to our waitress Kasey, who made the evening even more memorable. She was so kind, professional, and personable. She took the time to walk us through the menu, answered all our questions, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth and attentiveness truly elevated the whole night. Thank you, Inness, for making our celebration so special. It’s a night we’ll always remember, and we can’t wait to come back!
I was really impressed by Inness, and now I'm looking into booking a stay at their hotel after an amazing brunch experience. I stayed in the area for New Years and could not find a brunch place last minute. I called Inness and asked about availability, they had 15 minute wait. We waited in their beautiful and cozy lounge area with a fire place and amazing views on nature (imagine that in warmer seasons!). Our table was available quickly and we got seated. Staff there was really sweet and it made such a huge difference seeing that they are pet friendly and had several customers with little dogs Food at Inness was definitely worth the visit and worth for a return! Everything on the menu was carefully curated, showcasing a delightful fusion of flavors that elevate the brunch dining to a whole new level. Local flavors and produce, seasons items, it was all delish! I highly recommend the french toast Please come here, stay at their hotel and eat here!!
Great vibes, great service, and delicious food. Have been for breakfast and dinner and both have been wonderful. Grab a drink at the bar before or after and sit in the fireplace room or outdoor area.

1) Sleek and sophisticated design, promoting serenity. 2) Thoughtful dishes of quality and well-rounded flavors. 3) Attentive and personable staff.
The restaurant at Inness offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. The farm-to-table menu is fresh and creative, paired with an excellent wine selection. Prices are reasonable for the quality, offering great value for money. Service is polished and attentive, matching the expectations for the price point. If possible, stay at the hotel—the beautiful grounds make the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend for a special meal or a relaxing getaway!
Such a great little spot with absolutely spectacular views of the Catskills. We were staying onsite for a 60th birthday party so I got to experience breakfast lunch and even a privately hosted dinner. Everything was delicious and the cocktails and wine were a nice compliment to the meal. My only suggestion would be to have more servers… once things arrived, it was delicious… but even though the place wasn’t packed, the wait times were a bit longer than expected… even for water refills.
We came to eat here on my wife's birthday. The food was delicious, the ambience and decor beautiful, and the staff was friendly and accommodating (including in the hotel shop). They brought us an egg free dessert option for my wife's birthday. Highly recommend dining here if you're in the area!
Would give more than 5 stars. Incredible food, clean, beautifully presented. Atmosphere is minimalistic allows you to enjoy the bounty of nature. Drinks were great and warm and friendly service. Will be back and tell friends.
WOW. This was a next level meal. Every dish was spectacular, and our group ate 80% of the menu. Service was on point and drinks were perfection. 10/10.

A very nice restaurant with a really interesting menu. I went for scallops which were outstanding.... a really clever dish. My wife had sweet potatoes which again were excellent. My main was fluke with greens which was an enjoyable dish but personally would have enjoyed something like potatoes with it. Which leads me to my only gripe with the restaurant.... some of the service really wasn't great. The food is highend and really should be celebrated with some explanation of the dish on delivery.... rather than being plonked down (in the wrong order). But the biggest annoyance was at the end the waiter standing over me waiting for me to finish my desert after collecting my wife's plate. That's just not a done thing really. But the most important thing being the food was really great and credit to the chefs as it was quite inventive, so if in the area well worth a visit.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Our server provided excellent recommendations for appetizers and our entrees and she was also extremely pleasant, warm. My one critique is that I made this reservation on resy, with explicit instructions that we were celebrating a birthday and requested great seating with a birthday candle with our dessert. The host appeared to be unaware of our request for better seating and I had to remind everyone about the candle. I’m not sure if this is a weird glitch with Resy but just an FYI for ppl who use it as a tool to relay to the staff before arriving. Otherwise, splendid experience and I will definitely be going again!!
We came to Inness for my fiancés birthday dinner and were very excited. We started at the gate house and had a cocktail with Caitlin- she was amazing, friendly, and our drinks were great. We then sat in the lounge room and Rosie took care of us. Not only was the service horrific, but she was very rude, forgetful, and had a cold persona - which was unlike the warm environment of the restaurant. To sum it up- She did not discuss the menu with us, clear our dirty silverware between courses, and she rushed to get us out by corking our wine for us before even offering the dessert menu. I wish I could say we would love to return, because the food and atmosphere were incredible. But something has to be changed about the service, it killed the experience.
Food was delicious, vibe and decor were great, but the service was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. Not attentive, slow, disinterested, and incompetent. A little training will go a long way for the staff. Invest in good staff and people will want to return.

The views and vibes were great. I truly felt that most things on the menu didn't speak to me. The eggs were fine, the potatoes were great though. The orange juice was probably not fresh. The bloody Mary was pretty weak. I asked if they could make a french toast which it seems they do given it's in recent past photos, but they refused since 'it wasn't on the menu'. French Toast is probably the easiest to make so I was surprised they flatly refused.
Beautiful view and the cocktail we ordered was delicious but we never had a server just random service and French fries were cold and when they brought out new ones they were the tiny burnt pieces. My husband had the turkey sandwich which was good. Nothing out of the ordinary but nice view. Would come back for a drink but that’s it!
Meh. I was really looking forward to dining here as the photos online showcased a beautifully designed space, and in person, it truly is stunning. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. We had a 7:30 dinner reservation for 4 and were surprised upon arrival by how loud the restaurant was. The space was filled with families, screaming children, and a very casual atmosphere, very different from what we had anticipated. We requested to be seated in a quieter area, and thankfully, the staff accommodated us. The room we were moved to was much more peaceful, but nearly empty, and the service in this area was noticeably lacking. It took about 20 minutes before our server even took our drink order. Dishes arrived at uneven intervals, and there were long stretches where we didn’t see any staff at all. While the food was good, it wasn’t particularly memorable. What stood out most (in a negative way) was the complete lack of attention to clearing our table. Dirty dishes piled up, and even as new plates were brought out, no effort was made to remove the old ones. It was baffling, especially given the price point. For a dinner costing over $100 per person, we expected a higher standard of service and a more refined experience overall. The setting has great potential, but the execution (both in service and ambiance) needs significant improvement.
They charged $1 for an ice cube. I can manage understaffed service, it’s hard. The food is delicious. But $1 for an ice cube is robbery.

Great golf and views. Terrible vegan menu options. Nothing labeled on the menu as vegan, and when the vegetable dish was modified to remove the cheese it’s like the kitchen forgot how to cook. I love vegetables, but the bitter squash that was served was borderline inedible, albeit for one or two bites of zucchini that had some nice char. The sunset was incredible and there was a really nice service and atmosphere.
Attempted to come here for dinner this evening, upon arrival at 9 pm my wife and I walked in hoping to dine only to be turned away by the rudest waitress we have ever encountered. Not only were there people dining there but instead of greeting us and letting us know they were closed she waited for us to approach. That alone shows awful service and incompetence. Then they proceeded to try to tell us they had evacuated their property and that they were closing an hour early due to the snow storm coming tomorrow morning at 8 am. Not really sure how a snowstorm of a foot and a half coming 11 hours later has any impact on their closing time or my dining experience… Needless to say I am extremely put off and disgusted by this incident. I frequently dine at Innes and send all of my friends and family there. One with Land was warm and welcoming enough to allow us to dine and arrive close to closing and even called to check in that we would still be joining them. Innes for such a quality resort this is beyond inappropriate and you should be ashamed of your service.
