The staff are super friendly and the fries are out of this world. But the drinks are a bit pricey for the area. I'm used to going to bars and restaurants in downtown Boston, and their drinks and cocktails are usually cheaper.

Got the butternut quash gnocchi and steak tips which were amazing!! Nice place with friendly staff, good drinks, and great food. My partner got chicken broccoli Alfredo which was also delicious.

Food was excellent. The pork shank slid of the bone like butter. The salmon burger was juicy and tasty!

Our first time visiting. Service was great, thanks Abby Joe. Food was very good Italian. Spaced well and hot and tasty out of the kitchen. Will be back.

I recently hosted my son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at La Stalla Osteria & Bar and I couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. From our very first meeting, Michaela was simply amazing. She immediately put me at ease with her warm, kind demeanor, and her creativity and flexibility were exactly what I needed. I had a few specific ideas, and she not only accommodated all of them but elevated them in ways I hadn’t imagined. One of my biggest requests was to create an inclusive seating arrangement for our 40 guests. I wasn’t sure how that would look or work in the space. Michaela assured me it could be done—and she delivered beautifully. The setup made everyone feel connected and comfortable. The dessert display was truly over the top—in the best way. Michaela went above and beyond, adding touches like beautifully arranged fresh fruit that made the presentation stunning. It was those thoughtful, unexpected details that really made the evening feel special. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Every guest raved about it, including my brother, who’s notoriously hard to please—he even went back for seconds! That alone speaks volumes. From salad to dessert it was a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable evening, thanks to Michaela and the entire wait staff. I truly felt like the event was customized just for us—unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a rehearsal dinner. I highly, highly recommend this venue and team. They made what was already a meaningful occasion feel even more magical.

We were so happy we chose La Stalla for our son's engagement party! The private room is cute and cozy, perfect for our gathering of 45. If it wasn't raining we could have used the patio as well. All of the food was delicious! We chose the casual buffet package which included apps, salad, meatballs and pasta, sliders and fries with cannolis and gelato for dessert. So much food! Our guests were very complimentary and even took home doggie bags. Makayla the manager was so helpful with planning the details. Our servers Joseph and Arianna (sorry ?) were both wonderful and attentive throughout the evening. We highly recommend La Stalla for an event, we were very pleased.

This is our first time here having dinner. I had the chicken Parmesan and my husband had the eggplant Parmesan. They were both delicious! We had the meatballs for an appetizer which were fantastic. I had one of espresso martini drinks, and my husband had the fig and peach punch cocktail. Both were spectacular! Oh, and the focaccia bread and oil dip was a great treat. We split a cheesecake for dessert with real whipped cream and strawberries. The service was impeccable. The interior is beautiful. We highly recommend La Stalla.

I've been here for lunch twice within the last month. This is a neighborhood gem, for sure. I've had the beet salad (phenomenal) and the Caesar salad with chicken; both were top-notch. Fresh greens, great cheeses, flavorful dressings and the best chicken topper I've ever had on a salad. Prices are comparable to other mid-range restaurants and the service is first rate. Different servers but both were attentive, helpful, accommodating and extremely pleasant. Worth your while any time you're in the neighborhood and want a good meal served by really nice people in a comfortable and attractive atmosphere. My new local favorite!

Great selection of appetizers,salads, soups, and entrees. Portions are large in a good value for the money. Fresh bread was offered with the meal and was delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive. Excellent selection of desserts as well. If I live nearby I would definitely return. Beet salad was amazing.

By far our favorite restaurant in the area. High quality Italian that’s very gluten friendly. Menu updates frequently and the drinks are great. Our kids love the food, both on the kids menu and the adult! Portions are generous and you can feel the love in how things are prepared. Service is wonderful. Just all around a treat! Highly recommend!

La Stalla hosted a 50th wedding anniversary dinner for 50 people for my parents in June 2025. Michaela the event coordinator was fantastic and flexible. We went with the buffet; the meatballs, arancini, chicken parm, haddock, and steak tips were excellent. The deserts of gelato and tiramisu were also fantastic. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The servers were extra accommodating in allowing me to use the television for a slide show. We even stayed past the planned time and the staff let us enjoy each other's company. I couldn't be happier with how the event went and will be coming in for dinner soon! - Sam T

Absolutely delicious food, and I love the smaller area for dining. Good to have a reservation just in case on Saturday nights. Get the chicken marsala, crispy brussel sprouts, and marshmallow chocolate chip cookie dough cake. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I frequent La Stalla often. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not to mention the food is phenomenal! The best steak tips around. And their butternut squash gnocchi is amazing. It’s one of the few places I always order something different because every entree is better than the last!! Their bartenders Diana and Makayla are truly fantastic! They are fast, efficient and shake up fabulous martinis! Trust me this place will not disappoint you!!!

Last week I hosted a birthday dinner for 40 people at La Stalla. Everything was absolutely perfect! I worked with Allie to plan the menu & she was extremely accommodating, and as our server at the party very attentive to all the guests. The food, as always, was delicious. Two appetizers, salad & 4 entree choices, plus 2 sides & dessert - everyone had something to choose from. The majority of our guests had never been there & all raved about the food & the service. I knew when planning the party that Rick & his team would not let us down. Thank you for a great night!

We came here on a whim and will be back! Really nice place, good service, great martinis/drink list. We also loved all the food. I had the gnocchi fritti di mare, my husband had the lamb shank, kids had rice balls and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything quite good, and we are pretty picky about our Italian! Sauce was very good, not overly acidic OR sweet.

We had a party of 15 seated.,The service was Excellent! The food was very good! appetizers ,salads and main course we didn’t have one complaint . I actually loved the meatballs and normally I won’t eat them anywhere but home. Can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They checked on us often. The Manager Rick also came by the table. Exceptional very pleased.

The food is very good. The portion size is large, however, the prices are very high. The service is very good. The atmosphere is quite interesting, meaning that, it's both very casual and quaint. The restaurant is similar to a restaurant in Italy, but but a pizza place, just a nice restaurant. Today, I saw a nice function room hosting a party. It really was very nice. I've eaten here probably 8 times and have always had consistent great food and service. Enjoy!

Best burger and tge bacon was crispy fresh. Unlike stale bacon some people serve.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We loved the decor and atmosphere. We enjoyed our calamari appetizer and our cocktails to start. My Veal Parm was so tender, and the sauce was excellent. My husband loved the Bolognaise. The creme brulee was delicious and a great end to our lovely evening. We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

La Stalla hosted a lunch reception for about 75 guests and they did a phenomenal job. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts were top notch. Our guests enjoyed the food selection and the quality of the dishes. A favorite of our group was the arancini balls, homemade meatballs, and the seafood pasta. Everything was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. McKayla was terrific in coordinating and setting up this luncheon for our guests. They have a customer for life with our family.

just got home from trying this place for 1st time with my parents such good and personable service. a nice fine atmosphere but with a more casual dreess and not too over priced like most places like it. I haf fig and prociutto pizza it was sooooo good. mom and dad split two appetizers the chiken dumplings and steak egg rolls they loved it. dad really liked the espresso martini as well. we will most definately be going back here again so many things on the menu we all wanna try some very unique dishes too. It is very rare I ever give a 5 star rating to anyplace i am usually a die hard 4 star rater 5 is for the above and beyond perfect experience this is the 1st 5 star rating ive given in years.

This is our go to place for the last year. Food is always great. Their vodka sauce is second to none. Definitely try it! We always sit at the bar, awesome service and fantastic drinks. The bartender makes some awesome 1 of kind cocktails. Go on Wednesday or Friday nights and ask the bartender to make you one of his custom drinks. Try his fuity pebbles cocktail. I can assure you havent had anything like it before. Big shout out to Jim, Mikayla and Arianna for always providing outstanding service!

The Lamb Pops are an excellent start. I then told my wife to "Lamb it up!!!" So she got the Lamb Burger which was very good. I got the Veal which was delicious. The setting was very nice and the service was great. We will be back. We drove out of our way for it and it was well worth it.

Came here for lunch with my sister today, as it was close by to Costco. I wasn't expecting much, but to my surprise - the food was delicious. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and then shrimp scampi and the chicken piccata risotto. I'll definitely come back!

La Stalla is a gem with great cocktails and mocktail options. The menu is large with something for everyone, the steak egg rolls special were a large and delicious starter. Entrees were a good size - shrimp scampi was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and everything came out hot. Four stars is for service - the food came out fast once ordered but our waiter kept disappearing and seemed to ignore us for long bouts of time

Stopped in for lunch, food was pretty good and the decor was very chic. I particularly, enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts with bacon(not pictured), the BLT wrap was filling and garlic mashed potatoes were good as well(a bit too much for one person). I plan to come back and try a dinner entree.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, restaurant. The food was delicious and service was very attentive. I have zero complaints! I just want to remind you, if you are going with children or maybe picky eaters, this is NOT "classic" Italian food. Extremely rustic, delicious, but I honestly didn't understand many words on the menu 😂 which isn't a bad thing! Just important to note!! I'm used to very southern Italian/scicilian style cooking so just caught me off guard, but nevertheless, the food and experience was extremely enjoyable!

The bread was delicious. The shrimp scampi I felt was lacking salt but I was very pleased with the portion size. My friend unfortunately did not enjoy her blackened salmon. Service was a little slow considering it was not busy but overall a decent experience. Would return to give different menu items a chance.

The food is delicious. Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had. The are wonderful bar apps at very good prices for Tues-Fri 4-6 pm. The only drawback is that the bar service could use some work. We had to get the bartenders attention twice to place our order and ask for plates and set ups.

We went to this restaurant for my friend’s birthday and had a wonderful experience overall. The food was delicious, with standout dishes like the octopus appetizer, pork shank, and pasta carbonara. However, the Brussels sprouts appetizer was a bit overwhelming with too much garlic and not enough Brussels sprouts , the room we were seated in was a little chilly and they forgot about bringing out a dessert with a birthday candle for my friend as the person who took the reservation on the phone had promised. Despite these minor drawbacks, our server Brea truly shined. Her exceptional personality and top-notch customer service made our dining experience memorable. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant, maybe not to celebrate another birthday, but for its outstanding food and service.

A great hidden gem for a Sunday brunch! A variety of options from create your own omelet to waffles, pancakes, eggs to sandwiches and other lunch items. And the bloody mary was perfect!

The food was good. The calamari was 75% banana peppers though which I hate when they do that. My entrees were yummy but the drinks were very weak. I feel like I wasted my money on them. I don't think Ill be back unless I'm having wine with my dinner which I don't often.

The food was great! The service was terrible and overshadowed the delicious food. My friend and I are both industry vets and were horrified by the service we received a couple of Sunday nights ago. I won’t call the waiter out because who knows if he had a bad day but other reviews lead me to believe they experienced the same level of poor service we did. I won’t give a play by play but we were on HIS time, rather than pay attention to us he was busy doing his sidework (polishing wine glasses, removing candles) yet it was nowhere near closing time and there were other tables dining as well. I wanted dessert (tons of great options) but after bringing us each a box (for this price point HE should have boxed it up) and disappearing again he returned and dropped the tab. Never inquired about dessert. My friend said “did you order your dessert??” I said “no…” well he turned around and tried to backtrack and say ohh I apologize you guys said you wanted separate checks so I was dropping those off. Yeah ok….. if I return (big IF) and I see him working I’ll sit at the bar. If management reads this and wants more details of what went wrong, I’m happy to further explain.

I saw this place on Phantom Gourmet and had high hopes. The atmosphere was clean, considerably nicer than the previous bar, and had a live duo playing guitar and singing that were very good. They did have a Tuesday night special for $50 for 2 that came with a bottle of wine, 2 salads, 2 entrees and dessert which would be a good deal had we taken advantage of it. I was dissapointed that they had such a small menu and would have liked a greater selection. We enjoyed this place well enough.

We gave this place a few chances because we've heard good things. The first time the food was decent but cold. The second time the food was terrible. This last time the food was ok but service was awful. We went on a very slow night. It was only us and another party in the dining room. We waited at least 45 minutes before the server even took our order. We had finished eating and again had to wait an unreasonable amount of time before the waitress came back to check on us. When we looked around for her we saw her chatting with a coworker. We also never got one of our drinks. We are 0/3 for this place and I don't think we'll be giving any more chances.

Terrible service, seemed like the waiter may be made enough already. The restaurant wasn’t really busy, it was Friday night at 8pm we walked in. Only got water and waited until asked for drinks choice about 20 minutes later. Waited 20 more minutes nothing. Finally asked about the order and the waiter seemed she forgot. So now, 40 minutes now as we are just sitting with drinks, and ready to order app and entrees. The app never came, shrimp and fish was dry. I am not sure, what kind of service and food the other people got, to the point where they give this place 5 stars review. Disappointed. Left tired and unsatisfied.

Overpriced! The pizza (if you can call it that) was the worst I've ever had. It was super small and tasted like cardboard. No bread, warm water with no ice, and tiny glasses of soda. I've never ever left a review before but I had to warn people.

Horrible service. Food quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Really honestly horrible service. Waiters hangout in the kitchen and forget about customers. 5 times I’ve ordered the chicken Marsala. First 3 times delicious, 4th time completely different and worst and smaller, 5th time unrecognizable. That’s the only dish that brought me to the place. Over priced wine too. Won’t be back. Lost a loyal customer.

The worst chicken Marcela I ever had. Strips of chicken with thick ribbon pasta in some sort of orange sauce. Nothing about this say chicken Marcela. Gross

Service sucked. I finally got my second beer when I went to the bar to get it. The pizza we ordered was good, about average, but nothing great. The Band was ok but I've much better many times. As, I notice the only responses from management here is on 4 or 5 star review but nothing (chirp chirp) on the negative ones. I doubt very seriously if I'll come here again. I'm a one and done kinda guy if the service is substandard.
