Grabbed dinner here and it was absolutely incredible. Their lobster bisque was delicious, and their swordfish outstanding! Was with a large group and they were extremely efficient and polite. Crab Cakes, insane! Highly recommend —very cool restaurant with an awesome atmosphere. Look forward to going back.
Awesome clams on 1/2 shell. Bloody Mary good but no celery; not fancy for the price. Baked cod w corn on cob. Fresh & good. The best was the SEAFOOD COBB SALAD. It was Phenomenal. Lobster salad, lots Shrimp, Nova lox & all the fixings. Our server was delightful. 1st time here. Will be back. Sat outside on the perfect summer day …
The best drinks, best Sushi so fresh and the main course delicious 😋 we will be returning! Love the atmosphere the waitstaff and the manager, Peter was exceptional ♥️ I am bringing many more people! - thank you the “Caron’s”
Skipjacks is hands down one of the best best places to go in Patriot Place. Their food is delicious, prices are reasonable and they stand out for their superb service. We actually hosted a family event at their private room and for the entire few weeks process they were super polite, helpful and accommodating. We were able to setup special decor and they were very nice about it. They made everyone in my big Hispanic family feel comfortable. True class.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. Its tucked into a corner at the mall that is connected to Foxborough Stadium. Yep home of the New England Patriots. There prices are reasonable for the type of eatery. They have daily specials, like for instance half priced appetizers(during happy hour)and half priced lobsters on Thursdays. They range from 1/2lb , 1lb, 2lbs whole Maine lobsters. Yummy!!!!
The best seafood I've ever had. The food is expensive but you get what you pay for. The food was so amazing. Me and my family went with my grandfather and we all said the food was amazing. My grandfather is in a wheelchair and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The held the door open for him and everything. The place is so clean. The atmosphere is great. I will definitely be coming back.
GET THE SEABASS IT'S AMAZING. You guys did a fantastic job this past Saturday night. The sushi was perfect, cocktails were excellent, and my seabass was pan seared in the most perfect fashion. Can't thank you enough.
Food was excellent, i had the Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Sea Scallops, fish was cooked perfectly. The apple crisp was AMAZING! So crispy and crunchy and the apples were cooked perfectly!
My sister and I are visiting from California and EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. I mean the service was phenomenal, our server Priscilla was attentive, knowledgeable of foods, drinks, and desserts, and I can’t fathom how good the Thai wings, fried clam sandwich, and everything that touched the table was hot, fresh, and tasty! Definitely will be returning every time I’m in Boston.
Good choices and plenty options to pick from both food and drink menu. Lobster bisque was warm at best. Sea bass was good, very tasty. Other items ordered seemed ordinary and tried too hard when colleagues ordered pasta, etc. then when one of their orders came, it was missing side item which the staff argued about not being there then quickly said he was right when the item came separately right behind her. Strange. My cocktail was a bit watered down. Everything was very expensive.
Very quiet in the restaurant on a Wednesday in October. But since there were six of us meeting for the first time in over a year, with lots of catching up to do, the quiet was welcomed. Our server was very attentive, the food was above average and prices reasonable. Overall we had a very good experience.
Excellent table service but it did take the kitchen a while to get the dishes made. The food was all very good some better than others. Atmosphere was good and not too crowded. The shrimp tacos were ok. .the sea bass was small but melted in your mouth. Wanted to get sushi but they were too backed up..so it would have taken too long.
After visiting the Patriots Hall of Fame, our group decided on dinner at this spot. Such a good decision. Strongggg drinks and delicious food. I’m a very picky eater but decided to try the “skipjack” process for my sea bass and 🤌🏾. The majority of the group also had the clam chowder and they all cleaned their bowls. Will def return the next time we visit Massachusetts.
We went for a birthday family dinner on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty so it was nice for us...portions are small for the pricey menu. Cesar salad was fresh but drowning in dressing but tasty...onion rings app were good but again for 15$ they came out in a small cardboard container like at the beach. Little did we know onion rings came on 4 of our meals. One of the clam plates which if you wanted the whole belly was a 7$ upcharge came out cold...the fish on my Fisherman Platter was mushy and cold, the rest was room temp...and it was small for 50$ This was a kitchen issue for sure....We were the only ones in there and food took a while to come out. But we enjoyed ourselves as a family and the server was super nice. Idk my 94 year old Mom enjoyed herself so much being with all her grown kids so we kept quiet about food. It would have been amazing had the food been worth the price. I personally would not go again.
Maitre'd was a bit terse, but after a 25%-shorter-than-cautioned wait and briskly seated service was great, kitchen was lightning fast and server had table well covered. Management perfect touch check-in without overboard. Menu fine but uninspired (think seafood "cheesecake factory" corporate palate) Well executed service and meal flowed well.
I’m sorry I have to give 3 star review or even lower for the restaurant. Lunch deal meal and other order are fine. But my another dish “ Sushi - Tinis” wasn’t what I thought. I expect I can have some sushi rice on my lunch that’s why I choose this restaurant. But the “special tinis” is Sashimi tinis. But menu described sushi tinis, it doesn’t make very clear on the menu’s title. So it make me quite confused when dishes is coming. I did suggest to make more clear in the menu to the chef and waiters, but they seems doesn’t accept.
I got wicked sick from this place. Steak and sides were tasteless. Sushi was great, server's were amazing.
Mussels were full of sand.. yes, you read it right, the soup was great though.. I had asked for a medium stake and that piece was almost raw.. everything is overpriced, serving staff was great and the quality of food doesn’t really reflect on the bill.
Omg what a mess this was. The collassal shrimp were basically regullar size Ordered sushi rolls wasn't told until everyone else was already served on my table that the sushi chef went on a break. I agreed to wait for it. Then the sever came back to tell me the break was extended until later.
UPDATE: after this dinner, my co-worker and I experienced some gastric issues. I had one lobster ravioli while my co-worker has the rest and they experienced more gastro distress than I did. This was quite unexpected and you wouldn’t expect this from a place like this. Skipjacks is definitely a place that is smack dab in the middle of a very busy area near Gillette Stadium. There is a tone of places to eat and experience in the immediate area. The food was good and the service was excellent. Our waiter really knew the menu and was able to help us pair the appropriate drinks to our meal. He was impressive. The only reason that I didn’t go 5 stars here is that the Teriyaki Steak tips was done medium rare and they were on the side. I’m not a steak connoisseur so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. My co-worker got the lobster raviolis and the presentation was impressive but it tasted a little too sweet for some reason? It’s definitely worth a try as they have an impressive array of wines.
