Outstanding selection of brew on tap. Also has a wide selection of bottles. Custom in house cocktails, mules etc. Friendly employees and a good environment. Great place to relax and enjoy a beer.
Great place, with a truly great selection of drafts. The bartenders are very professional with an intricate knowledge of what they sell. The owner is always around to answer questions and is very appreciative of his customers. Can't ask for much more.
Giving it 5/5 on the Tyler scale. This is the place to go if you want the most diverse beer selection, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and nice. The only thing preventing it from getting a 6/5 would be if they offered snacks of some sort, but I believe they will let you bring in food(?) Someone fact check me on that
Amazing bar with great staff! I love the quantity of drinks they had along with how they named them and how they had they're menu done! Would recommend to anyone!
Great place to grab a drink, even though they were busy they did a great job of attending to everyone in a timely matter!
Our favorite spot by far...So much so that we drive better than 50 miles to visit! Great selection, fare prices and a wonderful atmosphere. The owners is a pleasure to know and the staff are always quick and friendly.
Great selection of 50+ brews, cocktails at reasonable prices, personable staff who know their stuff. One of my favorite places in town!
We love this place! Trivia every Monday with Jeremy is a must in our weekly routine! Check it out! There are a lot of beers on tap to try as well!
Best bar in Tyler. Many brews on tap. And prices to fit any budget. Has a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff
What a great selection of beers. This is the best place to drink in Tyler for the great selection of beers/ciders. The Bartender is very nice and really took care of us.
Great selection of beers. At least 50 to choose from. I'll take a picture of the menu next time although I imagine it may change from time to time. Cocktails are a little pricier but average beer is like $5-6. Will visit again
Always a great place to have a few drinks with friends on the patio, the staff is always friendly and quick, plenty of room to find a place to sit or converse with friends, and plenty of beer and spirits to choose from. Located in a great spot with a well lit parking lot where you know your vehicle can stay safe, easy to get to, and easy to find for out of towners.
Rose city is a cute little bar with an excellent selection of beer, but that’s not even the best part…Trevor is a fantastic bartender with tons of knowledge and makes fantastic cocktails to fit any mood. He’s the best part of coming to that bar and keeps me coming back on weekly basis.
Great "watering hole in the wall" spot for drinks, drinks and even dranks! There are no food or snack offerings however you can get you a pizza next door and they'll deliver. They offer an extensive selection of cocktails and liquor, tho my favorites are not (Gentlemen Jack, or any Jack for that matter) however they do offer many great beers on tap. My wife's favorite cocktail here is their "Pineapple Upside Down"! Since my usuals are not offered, I enjoy Jameson Orange with soda. The atmosphere is great, they have a great patio, several TVs, some nice sitting niches and even a few arcade games. DL required at door for free membership.
Decent size facility with plenty of tables for small groups. An area in the back has tables you could potentially push together for a larger group. Outdoor covered patio by the parking lot with picnic style seating. Draft beer list is extensive with multiple different styles of beer and ciders to choose from. Small selection of cans and bottles as well. They were however out of two beers we wanted plus multiple others, so, probably had 40 something available of the 50+ they advertise. No table service but the bartenders were attentive and polite when you approached the bar. Three televisions at the bar and a handful of others scattered around the walls allows for multiple games/shows at the same time. The bartender was able to easily change the television where we were sitting to the soccer game I requested. They do not have a food menu. They were able to provide us with some pub-mix by request. There was a group that had pizza delivered and it seems you can bring food in from the restaurant next door. Atmosphere and clientele were safe and comfortable. We enjoyed our soccer game and drinks and will return again.
This is a great bar! I love their rotating selection of craft beers on tap! They carry several varieties of local beers and wine. They also gave bottled beer and cocktails. They don't offer food but they are near a great asian restaurant.

My go to for great atmosphere, great staff always feel welcomed
Great place to grab a beer and chill out after a long week
2 people drank for four hours and out tab was $80. Not bad at all! Staff was friendly enough and helped with suggestions on beers to try. Plenty of options for beer enthusiasts. They also make pretty good drinks. Music was on point as well. I’d definitely go back next time I get the chance
Perfect when you need a drink and an incredible selection of draft beer to choose from. No food, so prepare ahead. It's worth it. They also make mixed drinks as well. Which is great if you have someone that doesn't go for beer.
I really enjoyed this bar! There were over 40 beers on tap with many local choices. My husband and I tried all the ETX beers, since we don't get those in our city. The inside was inviting and had many seating choices, various TVs, and a few arcade machines. There is a nice outdoor patio area where I spent the majority of my time.
This is a great place to get a on site brewed beer or Shandy. There is inside seating and large outdoor seating. There is also a play spot for kids and a fenced in area for dogs, live bands, ovenbaked pizza and hot pretzels! The employees are very knowledgeable and kind. All around a great place to have a drink!

Good selection. Beers are a little pricey. I couldn't tell that we were still in the middle of a pandemic. We were able to find a fairly secluded table for a Birthday Beer.
Large selection of craft beer on tap, with more in cans and bottles. Lots of liquor and wine to choose from also. Kind of dark inside, so it was hard to read what was written on the chalkboard for the taps, but they have a beer/wine/cocktail menu to choose from as well. Prices were average for craft beer.
Lots of beers but the place had the vibe of college-town which is cool if you’re in college. Zero food served but you can bring your own. Pizza and Asian food next door.
Slightly off the beaten path of Broadway and not easy to see. One of the best selections of draft beers in town! Very chill. Good music, several TV's (no sound). Next to Lola's kitchen.
I had a hour to burn so stopped in the Rose City Bar and was surprised by the quality appearance of a classy looking place to grab a few unique beers. As I was enjoying my first from what was the largest selection of tap beers I spotted a vintage 80s video cam and a pinball machine. Nice ambience.

Fantastic selection of beer on tap in a good pub atmosphere playing hard rock with plenty of screens to keep up with your favorite sports. We had the one cider and a coconut Porter. The cider was dry,but so much as to make one pucker. The Porter got better with every sip as it warmed. We'll look to get back when we can and try some more.

They’ll serve u what u request, and thats where the service ends. I have never seen tenders who will consistently only give u simple one word responses to any attempt to cultivate a conversation! They really seem like they don’t want to be there. These dudes are duller than a blank sheet of blotter, lol. 🤷🏻👎🏻
At one time was a Major fan of this place.. The bartenders were to busy talking to each other to serve me. Seems to be the going thing here. But regulars get treated very quickly..
You must have a mask to enter. You can buy one for a dollar. Inside were about 100 people with no mask. Covid-19 stops at the Door. Good selection of Draft beers. I'll give it points for that. I guess it was closing time and the waiter walked up and said "You have about 4 seconds to finish your drink." Then counted 3,2,1 and snatched my beer from my hand. Very rude. I probably won't be back.
I’m new to this area and came in on Sunday. The two bartenders were not helpful. When I asked about the different IPAs, I was told to get up and look at their digital menu or get on some app. Very upsetting especially when you have a lot of craft beers and I’m asking specially about IPAs. You should know your product and help a customer find a good solution. Sales 101. Then when I asked for a beer, I was mocked because I didn’t say then name correctly. Obviously they knew what I was talking about. Overall I feel there should be better educated people here that don’t act like they hate their job. Also the bar is so dark. Brighten the lights a bit a smidge!
Probably the worst service I've had at a bar ever. We had initially sat at a table, but I generally prefer the bar as you don't typically have to get up and wait in line to order more drinks. This was not the case here. We moved to the bar when seats became available and it seemed as if the bartenders were ignoring us. The barback, River, was great though. He brought us beer menus, answered our questions and made recommendations, but was unfortunately too slammed with hand washing the glassware to be able to actually pour us a drink. I ended up having to go to the opposite end of the bar and wait in line since all the bartenders were ignoring us. If not for River, this place would def not warrant 2 stars. Thanks River!

I came in and Shannon the guy checking everyone out looked at my ID and asked a lot of questions . I’m assuming it’s because I have a state ID instead of a drivers license. And I asked him what does it not look like me ? And he said no honestly you look 12 ? Like that’s rude . For no reason . I AM 21 !! and I didn’t deserve that kind of customer service . Y’all need nicer people up front . He’s rude . Kept talking about me to other people . As if I had a fake or something . Thought I could enjoy the fact that I’m of age . But I guess not. Rudest worker I’ve ever met at a bar !! For sure .
Not greeted. Sat and had to wait. Had to walk to the bar for service. Then we're told would not accommodate without a mask.(IF WE WOULD HAVE BEEN WAITED ON WITH GOOD SERVICE HAVING TO REAPPLY THE MASK WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN NEEDED!) I guess they fail to realize Texas laws and Good Service. The Covidian's at this place will let you sit shoulder to shoulder drinking with no mask but when it comes time to order your beer you have to wear a mask or you get no service. We won't ever be back. Too many great places in Tyler to have drinks without the Covidian hassle.
I just had the weirdest experience. They advertise as a brewery, so thinking it is like every other brewery we’ve ever visited we brought our kids and board games. ZERO signs saying 21+, and it was super embarrassing when they asked us to leave.
We came to get a few drinks, sat down at a table, waited for 20 minutes with no one talking to us, went up to the bar only to be told they wouldn’t serve us because we had our 3 year old with us. Very rude, and could have just let us know when we walked in. No signs on the door stating 21 and over.
Great selection of beer but that was the best part about the place, atmosphere was very strange and uneasy and staff was very rude. Needs a facelift and maybe some more games, activities, and nicer staff. Not great but could definitely be improved.
The short dude with all of the tattoos working at night is a hateful person and made me feel bad for my CLOTHES of all things. I was warning nice attire but he apparently doesn't agree with me being a member of the LGBTQ community. I hope he gets fired before my lawsuit comes through.
Heard great things about this bar in Tyler, however was pretty pissed when they said they cannot accept my partners form of ID. State law requires any form of government ID with expiration to be accepted in a public location. I guess because it was a Mexican ID and not a DL it became impossible for him to look at the bottom of the ID and see the expiration date.
Terrible customer service the guy with the fro wS very rude , my drinks were horrible colton was a horrible bartender very rude and dismissive, will not be ba back w cton, very riguythyself and my guest for no absolute reason at all
You go for a beer and glass of merlot and get told you are too drunk for another drink? We had one beer and one glass of wine in the span of 1 1/12 hours and were refused another. We weren’t the only ones, there was a gentleman who just showed up asking for a beer, and a group of ladies drinking wine as well. It’s just a little suspicious that we couldn’t even order a non liquor drink. I will happily spend my money elsewhere. Edit: apparently they have been over serving other customers which led to some “suspicious “ situations. If you can’t tell the difference between over serving and serving, maybe you shouldn’t be open.
Even though they are required to wear masks, nobody was. Staff was rude and they only had hot dogs for food. Decent beer selection, but over priced. There are better places in Tyler to go to get food and beer than here. Don’t waste just time unless your a regular, other wise you get ignored.
Rose City Draft House tried forcing the mask down our throats just to walk 12 feet to an outside table. And because we refused, they offered to sell us masks. When asked if they offer food, they stated that they have hotdogs. Not sure hotdogs qualify as 50%. He stated that the governor's order is law, and they could be shut down. That is a lie. They are not a restaurant, and not abiding by law by simply offering hotdogs. These militant mask policing businesses do not deserve our patronage.

Shane is colder than the beers served, terrible customer service. Judging by the reviews I have read I’m not the only one. I was reluctant to write this review because I do still come here all of the time. The patio is a nice spot in the middle of town to sit and enjoy a beer, and I have no problems with the other staff here Angela, Colton, Trevor, Josh the owner is a nice guy. They once had a combo that included a lone star beer and a shot of whiskey but since the lone star company has been on strike for months now and they can not receive kegs from them. they refuse to update the menu to another light beer. They do offer a shiner combo for a small upcharge, I just don’t like dark beers.
The comedian came from somewhere and doesn't understand when in Rome. The owner doesn't understand his audience either.
Hear me out. I’ve been to dive bars, cruise ship bars, resort bars, and wedding open bars. I can get behind bars not serving super expensive cheap quality food. Hands down the worst whiskey sour I have ever been served. I tasted it, paid, tipped, then asked for a different one. Not a single bar I have been to made it as poorly as them. Atmosphere was off and the bartenders were irritated. Overall it seemed that the only good thing about this bar is the name.
I am so unbelievably disgusted with this place. The worst service I have had in my entire life. The owner was personally on site and was drunk and unruly. I am shook at the service that was provided.
First time there. Ordered a margarita and it was literally the worse drink I’ve ever had! So I ordered a shot of patron to make it tolerable. Then after I finished the margarita I ordered a draft beer. Next thing I know the bartender is handing me my ticket. I didn’t ask to close out my tab. When I asked him why he said it was bartender’s discretion. So I sipped my beer. An hour later I asked if I could order another beer he said, “ well I told you you were done for the night.” Literally never said that! Just closed me out without a word until I asked why. Then he argued with me and said there was a 3 drink maximum per hour, (mind you I only ordered a margarita with an extra shot because the margarita itself was so awful and void of any hint of tequila and a draft beer). But it had been over an hour. I am a bartender myself and have NEVER been cut off! EVER! These bartenders not only DO NOT know how to mix tasty drinks but they are extremely rude, do not smile, and cut you off just because! How do they go from over-serving to under-serving? Not to mention while I was there, a drunk guy walked in, running into bar stools barely able to stand up, and yet he was served alcohol but I was cutoff! Will NEVER go back to this ‘private’ members only bar! Plus it smells like bleach! Pssh!
Trash bar with trash bartenders. Witnessed a male bartender throw a cup of water at a female as she was leaving the bar to head to the patio. She splashed her beer at him in return & then walked outside. He literally ran after her, grabbed her by the neck and threw her onto the patio picnic table. All of this because she apparently poured a cup of water into the spill trough on the bar. Dude was at least 6’4 and she was maybe 5’4 & 120 lbs. The other employees were having to hold him back because he was so enraged. Someone might want to check on his wife/girlfriend. Judging by the way he acted, this isn’t the first time nor will it be the last time he attacks a girl. Needless to say, I’ll never step foot in this place again.
