90/100: It was a good experience. The service provided was good, though it didn't particularly stand out as exceptional. However, when it came to the food, I must say it was truly satisfying. Our group opted for the Shishka mixed grill, accompanied by a variety of hummus and a side of falafel. The flavors were excellent, and the kitchen's expertise was evident in every bite. We chose to sit outside, taking advantage of the pleasant weather that day. However, it's worth mentioning that Shishka also offers indoor seating, providing a comfortable environment for diners. One of my favorite places! The food is always fresh and delicious! The portions are very good size, so you definitely will not leave hungry. I think I have tried pretty much every dish on the menu and was never disappointed! 😊

Excellent Lebanese restaurant. Outstanding and friendly service. Flavorful and generous servings. We started with the Sfiha/very good and the Makanek/very good. Then we had the Shawarma Pizza/excellent, the Shishka Mixed Grill/excellent, the Kafta Tajin/excellent and Shishka Fries/very good. Must visit and try the food.

This is by far the best Middle Eastern restaurant in South Florida. Amazing Service, Amazing food. Friday they have live music Saturday they have a belly dancer. But you cant beat the food. I found this place and i came 4 days straight.

This place never disappoints. The food is amazing. We had the grape leaves, humus & the Chicken, lamb, and beef skewers. SO GOOD. Ghada was excellent. She went above and beyond and provided superb customer services. So friendly and welcoming. I love the way everyone works as a team, that is key for any business success. Thank you. We'll be back.

We tried seven different dishes and all were good. A small place tucked away inside the Pompano Beach open-air mall. Savory flavors and subtle spices. Try the mint lemonage.

This place was highly recommended by several of my foodie friends and it did not disappoint. The staff were warm and friendly from the moment we walked in. Fresh hummus, creamy babaganoush, warm pita, and crisp salad; all seemed to be on the table within minutes. We followed this with grilled jumbo shrimp and a mixed grilled platter which consisted of lamb chicken and kefte. The fresh char on the meats was a nice touch. We capped the evening off with potent Turkish coffee and an artful belly dance presentation. Needless to say it was a fantastic dining experience.

Really enjoy this eating establishment.Good food for fair prices. It was an off hour so the place was empty. We had hummus, falafel, chicken livers and the server recommended the cannelli beans with lamb over rice. Go, you will enjoy.

If you like Mediterranean food… look no further. Located in Pompano Citi Center off of Copans and Federal, there’s nice outdoor seating and the inside is warm and comfortable. Food is amazing! Warm pita, olives and spices are brought to the table to start. Sajouk a Lebanese sausage cooked in tomatoes is full of flavor and one of my favorites. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Shawarma is grilled perfectly. Try one of the stews, the lamb is excellent. Everything is fresh and there are plenty of vegetarian options available. Family owned, everyone is nice and welcoming. Belly dancing during dinner on weekends.

I am in falafel heaven! Soooo good. Great location, easy to get in and out of. The food was incredible. You know the food is good when everyone is sharing samples, "here, try this"! We will be back.

Great place for lunch. We asked for the Halloumi grilled cheese and Humus with warm pita bread. Falafel salad for main. Their Lebanese beer is amazing. I totally recommend it

I eat here at least once a week, and have been eating here for the past 8 years. The food is always amazing. The service is great and the atmosphere is comfortable and elegant. Best raw kibbeh in town. The babaganoush is one of my favorites. All of the salads, tabbouleh and fatoush, are super fresh. The fried liver is one of my go to orders. Can’t go wrong with the mixed grill but you have to try the stews! Incredibly authentic and a must try.

Extraordinary Restaurant! Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit, and it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was bursting with flavor. And we can't forget to mention the Lebanese breasts — truly excellent! Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Came to Shishka with family for the first time and what a treat it was. The place is fairly small but VERY quaint and enchanting! Sofia was our server and she could not have been more awesome. She made our first visit Very memorable! Very kind and knowledgeable. We got a shishka combo and that alone filled us all up with and my goodness, it was all exquisite! Knefe topped it all off. I highly recommend this beautiful Lebanese restaurant!

We decided to try this restaurant tonight. Having lived in Lebanon we have had very good Lebanese food. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The food was so authentic. There were very traditional dishes that other restaurants dont offer. The food was very good. Customer service was also exceptional. We will go again on a friday to listen to the music.

If you are remotely considering Lebanese or Middle Eastern food, go to Shishka! The food is as authentic as being in Beirut, not to mention enough for two meals. From the decor outside all the way to the restrooms, everything is down to the detail. Also the staff is extremely accommodating. Usually places will gladly send you away if you are the last person, but not here. I was treated with great respect and hospitality. A must go!

Heather was so sweet! I stopped by here with my little sister to order to go, she was so personable and helpful. Haven’t tried the food yet, but I know it’ll be delicious cause it smells amazing! I would definitely recommend.

We had dinner here and were very pleased with our experience. Food was beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients all around. Taste was authentic and delicious. Sophia gave us the most attentive service we have ever experienced. This will be a regular stop for during future visits to pompano and we will certainly bring our friends along with us next time we visit.

Very cute place with good food. We got moussaka, which was tasty and light. Humus with lamb was delicious, although listed as an appetizer, it can easily be a light entree. Cornish hen was good too. Service is very fast.

Very nice little place with authentic Lebanese cuisine. I have only tried this food once or twice in the past few years, but I find it very good. Different from the normal American style food which I regularly consume. The staff was very friendly and explained Different dishes and answered several other questions I had about the restaurant and their offerings. I will surely visit again.

Tender, homemade bread; well-seasoned, grilled meats; flavorful stews, as well as several small cold and hot plates, are on the menu at this family-run restaurant. Service is friendly and efficient, and our server was helpful in answering questions about how to use the condiments served with the dishes. The belly dancer's performance was enjoyed by several patrons.

2/10/23- Great lunch specials . Choose of 4. appts. I choose the hummus the best . Pulse the chicken shish kebabs with vegetables and the white jasmine rice, which is the best. Had the lunch special , I chose hummus and the Shishka took... ? Only $11.95. The hummus just look how nice it looks tasted even better

Looking for a sandwich? This place will hit the spot. I love a good kabob wrap, they are a great alternative to greasy fastfood with more flavor and taste. I was very delighted by the kefta kebab wrap for seven-nintynine which only took twenty minutes to make so order ahead. The staff could be a little more friendly, they're usually busy but take care of you. The kabob was tender and tasty; and the vegetables were fresh and crisp within a nicely toasted pita.The wrap had a good heft to it and the price isnt bad for the quality. I can't wait to mention shishkas to my coworkers and friends. I'll be going back for another kabob wrap :)

The portions are nice and big. They load your plate up. The lanb was nice and tender and cooked just about right. The minced beef was good as well. I wasn't crazy about the chicken shish kebab. It had no flavor. The rice was ok too. The service was fast and good. I would come back again.

I was in the mood for something saucy so I ordered the Moloukhieh Stew. The meat was tender and sauce was flavorful. I kept spooning it over the rice. Definitely could be a shared meal. My husband ordered the Chicken Shawarma and we found it to be dry and not very warm. I’d probably skip that as there are other more interesting items on the menu! My mother in law ordered the Cornish Hen and it looked phenomenal. She raved about it. If I were in the area, I’d try this place again.

Ehh it was just alright. Normal I felt like. I prefer greek. And it's too loud! Tables are kind of set up wierd and close. But that's just my opinion but was here for my family birthday party.

The chicken shawarma was a complete letdown, and at $25, it borders on insulting. The chicken was bland and slightly dry, with zero depth of flavor and no sign of proper seasoning. The “vegetables” were laughable roughly five carrot slices and two pieces of broccoli while the white rice was plain, lifeless, and tasted like it came straight out of a cafeteria tray. There was nothing remotely authentic about this meal. In fact, the most memorable part was that it was served in an actual Glad container, which perfectly summed up the experience: cheap, careless, and phoned in. The only saving grace was the pastries, which were genuinely very good and clearly the only item made with any attention or skill. Bottom line: wildly overpriced, flavorless, and misleading. If you’re looking for real Lebanese food, look elsewhere. Review was conducted Saturday afternoon around 330pm. I was a walk in.

Nothing remarkable, I do not get why it is so highly rated. I did not like the shawarma, which was my dinner. I've had better. French fries were fresh and crispy and I liked them a lot. When the side is better than the main course, then that's not a good sign. My yogurt drink did not taste good, I couldn't even finish half of it. The dessert was alright. I tried their white pudding-like dish (I forgot the name). The waitress was nice and very friendly, she does her job well, so the extra star is for her.

We came in last night to celebrate a birthday with a party of 16. The food was great—no complaints there. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. We treated our waitress , Heather, with kindness and respect, yet the service felt cold, inattentive, and unwelcoming throughout the night. At times, it felt like we were being treated differently, which was uncomfortable—especially during a family celebration. To make matters worse, after the unprofessional service, our bill included an automatic 18% gratuity, and we still left an additional $140 tip. Despite that, the level of service never improved. Large parties still deserve attentive and respectful service, especially during special occasions. This experience took away from what should have been a memorable night.

The serving size for the Baklava is too little for the price. Take a look at this pic and guess how much this dish should be… It was $11 for 3 tiny pieces of Baklava. I understand the economy is not good but this is robbery.
