Alfred's Pizza

I was persuaded by both the reviews and proximity of Alfred's to my home, so I stopped in for an order. When I walked in I received a friendly greeting and proceeded to look through the menu and order. I kept it basic since I have some picky eaters at home, by ordering a pepperoni and olive pizza, an order of wings and a side ceaser salad. Between the time I ordered and received my order it was around 10 minutes. Honestly there are always a few kinks that need to be worked out for any new business and this one was no exception to the rule. The pizza was ready and so was the wings, but they inadvertantly forgot the salad. The wings may have been mixed up with another order because I ordered hot and received mango habanero. They politely asked if I'd like a soda while I waited and also offered to fix the wings. Realistically, a good wing is a good wing regardless of the style, so I just kept what they made. The real test was when I got home and served everything up. The salad was a hit, though there was a little too much of the dressing tossed in. To be fair, they had offered to put the dressing on the side before hand. They added the croutons at the end obviously because they were crunchy still. The wings were only for me. I enjoyed them and the sauce was a great blend of spicy and sweet. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they threw in an extra side of plain hot sauce just in case I didn't like the mistake. It was actually my first time tasting that flavor and I have to say I don't like spicy and sweet together, but this was pretty good. Finally, the review regarding the crispy crust and generous toppings was not lie. The pizza kind of reminded me of Imports in La Canada. The sauce had good flavor and I got full before getting burned out on the taste, which is good. My only real critique is the top of the pizza was a little on the oily side and I patted it down with a paper towel prior to serving it. It wasn't that bad though. I would also like to have an option put on the menu for a thicker or deep dish caliber crust. I think combining everything I tasted with a thicker crust would be great. I did notice the gluten free and cauliflower crust choice along with a margherita style pizza, which was nice. I'll be back for sure, the taste was great and people were friendly. The dining room was spacious and well constructed too!

All around 5 stars. The host who took our order was so patient and explained the menu. Pizza was on point to the point I usually could only eat max. 3 slices, but this i kept eating. First time there, and it won't be the last.

Their food is so good. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza just as it is, don't change a thing about it. Their cheese ravioli and their spaghetti are also excellent. Their red sauce and meat sauce are very, very good and I would recommend them both. Everyone is always so friendly. I recommend this place to everyone, it's a real treat.

Never been to this place, but it's been open for about 2 years. Spoke to Art, the man that made our pizza. We had the BBQ chicken pizza and added some pineapple, let me tell you something. It was delicious! Definitely coming back. It wouldn't be bad if they began to sell alcohol once this pandemic is done with. Great place.

Pizza was excellent! Pasta, just as delicious! Home made flavors with casual, easy dining. The staff was great and attentive, and the food made me and the family HAPPY. So glad we stumbled upon this place.

This place had the hands down the best Hawaiian pizza I have ever had. Just enough pineapple and Canadian bacon. The dough was great too not too thick or chewy. They have so many delicious things on the menu like the cheese and egg boat dish. I live about 30 mins away but this will be my new go to pizza joint. The customer service was on point as well, fast and friendly selrvice. ***update*** This is legit my go to pizza place. I drive from Santa Clarita to Sunland for their food. I went in the other day and the owner had me look at their new menu layout and the new items on the menu. They have a few different options for fries, I tried the chips fries and it was amazing! My go to is an order of chicken tenders and cauliflower crust BBQ chicken pizza.

With all of the great reviews about the pizza here, we decided to try the large cheese half pepperoni. We ordered online for pick-up, and it gave us a 20 minute estimated time. But we arrived within 10 and it was ready. :) The dining area gives off a friendly warmth about it, is clean and has two large T.V.s like a pizzeria should. I wanted to stay to enjoy my pizza instead of taking it to go! The pizza was so delicious, hot and flavorful! I was craving that specific Italian flavor and it was definitely satisfied! My family is raving about how it's been the best pizza we've had in a long time.

They have really good pizza. I have had it late at night and I never felt heavy or sick. Theyre always clean. Always friendly. Always get the order right. I used to love their persian makhloot but i later realized it has pork in it. Their cheese pizza and bbq chicken pizza are both amazing and perfect for those late night cravings. I'm very grateful to have access to them. They also usually have the office playing which I love watching while I wait. I love running into my neighbors there too who are picking up their order. Great environment.

I was at the property last night and it was extremely busy. More so than normal. Perhaps it was because of the owner’s excellent customer service and caring to someone earlier in the day that received a lot of following on another social media platform. Perhaps it was a Friday night and things got a little overwhelming. Not sure exactly what happened to get it so busy but the point being is the woman who posted that nasty review was the rudest, most “Karen” woman I’ve ever seen. The first time their pizza was made there was an error on it so the owner decided to make them a new one. The young lady in question that this woman got nasty with had only been on the job a couple of hours when she had to put up with this rude woman. Several times the Owner, the young lady that works there and another young man tried to apologize and offered something to drink, and even offered to pump the food. The words that came out of this old lady’s mouth could make a truck driver’s hair stand up. She thinks because she spoke in another language that most of us didn’t understand, completely incorrect! She’s lucky that the owner only raised his voice when asking them to leave his establishment. Some of us wanted to go and shut her damn mouth up ourselves. The “gentleman “ that was with her at first tried to get her to leave and be quiet. She then turned on him and got rude so he of course, having to impress her or whatever started getting mouthy. All this witnessed by at least 10 different people. Nobody is perfect. No establishment is perfect. No business is perfect and sometimes there are bad days. If you want to judge the establishment by this woman’s comments that’s on you. If you want to go and try it for yourself and meet the people who work there, especially the owner who gives everything with his heart, Then go with an open mind and enjoy!!

Alfrred’s Pizza is honestly one of the best local spots around. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently high quality. But what really makes them stand out is their customer service — it’s truly on another level. Every time you call, they make you feel like a VIP. They’re friendly, attentive, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend this place if you want amazing pizza and top-tier service! 🍕✨

I was looking for a good pizza restaurant and came across Alfred's Pizza in Sunland, so I thought I would give it a try since my son (also named Alfred) will be in town from Arizona this weekend. I was expecting a decent pizza, but what I got was an exceptionally delicious pizza. I will be back this weekend for the Xtra Large 18" pizza. Oh, and prices are reasonable for the quality you get.

Was my first time there with my kids the pizza was so delicious. The owner was so nice and helpful and he was nice enough to give my two young daughters cookies and he made sure everything was OK and we enjoyed our time there. We ordered the pizza, mozzarella sticks, and chicken wings, which were all amazing, definitely going back

Great people work there, friendly and helpful. They made me a pizza just to my liking. Ask for thin and crispy crust, its not their normal method I don't think, but it was very well done.

If you want good quality pizza that tastes really good go to this place. I relally like all the fresh ingredients they use .I have ordered multiple items and give this place 2 thumbs up. Call to order your food for pick up ahead of time because they can get little busy. They are a small place to eat there but worth the wait

Very delicious pizza. The ingredients are fresh. We always order ours to go. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Parking lot is small, mostly for compact cars. This place is pricier than other pizza places but worth it !!

Pizza is good. The "owner?" made pizza for us after they had shut down everything and where closing early. We understood and left as he came out to us and met us at our car and made us a pizza. We were very thankful and it was yummy and good. We will definitely be back!

I recommend the white truffle on a cauliflower crust. It's good, but expect a bit cheesy and oily with truffle oil. I would get it again. We also tried Alfredo chicken on a regular crust but I didn't like it at all. Too saucy and falls apart.

I'm used to pizza by the slize being cheap about 5 and some change I walked out of this spot spending 15.00 on one slice, that was basically a mini pizza.. I just wanted a slice but ended up with a huge slice shaped pizza.. with whatever I wanted on it ..I guess that was cool.. but in the end .. I just wanted a pepperoni slice ... thiers a huge sign in the window that reads (pizza by the slice) that's just to lure you in.. its a personal pizza ..shaped as a slice and you will pay 15.00 and some change. And the pizza is ok.. nothing special about it.

The pizza is good. Really good....but the calamari has a sweet taste to it. Didn't like it at all. The cannoli as well. Worse than the calamari...the filling isn't right and its soft not crunchy. They've been opened 3 weeks from what i know. I'll definitely reorder pizza. Just be warned by the calamari and especially the cannoli. Customer service was okay. She was nice.

Their food is usually good. But we've had problems with their delivery service. The last time was the worst. We did online ordering, and in spite of how we've ordered from them 15 times before, they couldn't get it to us. The delivery driver argued with my partner over where our own house is. She patiently explained how to get here three times, and he either didn't speak English well enough or didn't listen or insisted on following his erroneous gps. (If your system assigns a wrong address to location data, it's *your* problem, not ours). We finally had to walk 100 yards on a rainy night and stand in the street to flag the guy down, then he STILL tried to argue with us. Punchline: we opened the boxes to discover that one pizza was NOT EVEN WHAT WE ORDERED. We decided to eat it anyway, but then a lady from the pizza place called us back, interrupting our meal just to repeat the same lame excuse about their system assigning the address wrong (which doesn't excuse bringing the wrong order, or obnoxiously arguing with us). They disrupted our evening and never apologized. And since this is not the only time we've had trouble with their delivery and not the only time they got our order wrong either, this time we're DONE. Good food, awful service! No way we'll ever eat here again.

I ordered from this pizza spot often (have probably spent hundreds of dollars there the last few months) but the last couple of times I’ve ordered, my pizza has been overcooked and at a noticeable loss in quality. People frequent restaurants based on consistency, if we’re paying premium pricing ($25 for a medium cheese pizza), it’s fair to expect premium pizza. The pizza I’ve gotten my last few orders has been on par with Little Ceasers — but more than the double the price (even without toppings). You can see in the photo below that this mozzarella pizza is way overcooked. The flavor is bitter and caramelized. The crust is burnt to where it hurts the roof of one’s mouth when you bite into it. This is not quality pizza. It also needs to be eaten in one sitting as you cannot reheat pizza that’s already been overcooked from the start. I live alone, I’m gonna throw half of this in the trash. It’s disappointing because I actually at a point was telling people you have the best pizza in the area. I’m not sure what changed but it’s disappointing.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a large half and half pizza and chicken wings for delivery today. it came within 30 minutes. sadly, it was the greasiest pizza I have had in years. the chicken wings were so tiny and not worth one bite. This is sad as my elderly parents live in Sunland. When visiting, we like to order easy, tasty food. I will stick to picking up from Georgies in La Canada.

Tried Alfreds Pizza for the first time, I ordered a Margarita Pizza, the crust wasn't bad, but very skimpy on the cheese, and way too much basil. I was hoping for a better experience. My prediction this place won't be around long.

Horrible Horrible Horrible... I was at laundromat next door on Friday evening went for two slices of pizza and one bottled coke and total was 34 dollars wow, once i got my pizza box I opened it and was very very disappointed slices where un even some slices had no jalapeños and crust was very thin and some were slightly burnt to a crunch I could've gone to pizzahut as usual and for way cheap but I was there washing clothes I gave them a try never again, I ate the most decent slice and gave the rest to the lady that works at laundromat that's why you loose customers

I had ordered delivery from this place a few months ago and the pizza was good. This time we decided to come in and order and eat in the place. The place is not clean and ourdated. Ordered one salad and a small pizza. After 70 min, we asked for the salad so at least we can have that while waiting. The girl at the counter said everything comes together ! Finally we got the salad. Waited for the pizza which never came. The service is TERRIBLE. After complaining, he started first apologizing and then yelling at us for being upset and used the F word. We left with no food and paid 40 dollars plus 10 dollars tip. . That is customr service at this place. Decide if you want to go.
