Opinions de Zirve Grill Sunnyside
Food was excellent, fresh and delicious, service was amazing, I highly recommend this restaurant, quality food with affordable prices
The food is so delicious. Everything is very fresh and authentic food. I went today for dinner, and liked very much. I've been a couple of times here and will come again. The waitresses are very friendly. The place is very good. I like the lighting at night. Very recommended if you want to try homemade taste of turkish food.
Food was delicious, I was not so happy with the gyro but the rest of the mixed grill was great. The appetizers were excellent. The server HUSEYIN was very professional very helpful and very friendly. Prices are pretty normal. You have to try it once
The food was good and everything seemed fine. The wait staff is typical young guys who would rather be anywhere else, but I was impressed by the service from one young man who wasn’t even our waiter. He was super polite to us and other parties, making the atmosphere feel finer. I wasn’t really thrilled that the waiter put the menus directly on plates because that doesn’t seem hygienic, though I didn’t end up using that plate so it wasn’t a problem.
Here is a big Shout out to Turkish Grill. Me and my wife had a wonderful dine outside experience after a very long time. We ordered Falafal and Mixed Grill which was perfectly cooked and served In time without a wait. Very decent and clean place. This is the most authentic and best Halal Turkish food available in the town.
We have been going here for years now. Our first date lunch was here. Birthdays and anniversaries. We just love the food here. I have selected some food but everything tastes awesome here.
Great food, I definitely recommend it and the portions are huge, thank you for your good food.
New owners, amazing food and great service from the server Arif! Meze platter served with balloon bread was delicious! Definitely recommend it.
Been a regular customer of the old "Turkish Grill" for 20+ years. The new owners of "Zirve Turkish Grill" are continuing that tradition of delicious Turkish food and great Turkish hospitality. With their extensive menu and welcoming, warm atmosphere, "Zirve Turkish Grill" does not disappoint. Every dish is delicious. My new go-to favorite is their Adana Kebab. The meat is so flavorful, juicy and has the right portion of spices. "Zirve Turkish Grill" may have the best Adana Kebab by far in all of the NYC metro area. I will continue to be a regular customer of the new owners and I thank them for not depriving the folks of Sunnyside from delicious Turkish food! Support local businesses, all!
Delicious food. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Fresh ingredients. I hope to return soon with my family. I got the yogurt chicken dish and the grill flavor was delicious. Most dishes are $20 with some fancier dishes for a little more. They have kunefe.
This is a Gem in sunnyside, with over 20 years in the neighborhood! The hummus is the best in queens and their meat platters are delicious and satisfying. Sarah, the owner, is the best and makes sure you have a good time. Very friendly, very clean place, food is amazing ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They have delicious Lahmacun and Grills. Highly Recommending!!
Thanks Zervi restaurant, the servíce was excellent, delicious food, enjoy it
Delicious mid-afternoon meal! Good prices, decent portions, friendly excellent service & wonderful ingredients. Just found my new favorite Turkish grill restaurant.
This is a gem in Sunnyside Queens. The kebabs are incredibly well prepared and seasoned to perfection. The lebni is the best I have ever found - I seriously think about it often. Very good humus and manti (dumplings). Service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend you go visit - your taste buds will thank you.
I have no idea what are you talking about the owner she is such a sweetheart. She has such a good personality. We been going there almost 19 years she makes us feel like at home. The food is amazing. Service is amazing
food was awesome. i had the mixed appetizer platter, chicken and vegetable soup, and the mixed grill. it was all good food. i'm not much of a meat person in general but it was soft and easy for me to eat. and! the people r so nice. she was so full of energy and just made my time there so enjoyable. would love to come by again sometime soon!
Turkish Grill is a must visit for everyone in Queens looking to indulge in genuine Turkish cuisine. The combination of the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service makes it a perfect choice for any occasion. I am already looking forward to my next visit!!
I feel like going to my moms house whenever I came to this little family run restaurant. The food is homemade with love. You must try their lahmacun. The owners always welcomes you with a big smile. My favorite restaurant in Queens.
The best restaurant I've been to my life they are amazing wonderful people good everything you guys should go try it one day you'll be amazed
Zirve grill is a great place to go with family and friends. Very nice atmosphere, delicious variety of food, reasonable price for outstanding taste. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends!
Awesome vibe, delicious food, happy with the services provided 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm sure I've reviewed this spot... no!? Hard to believe. This is an easy 4 stars based purely on the positive experiences. Business is owner women and she cook it self all foods like home foods Good price, good food, good service, good location. i Hi recommend this place
Our family has been coming here for years. It's one of our favorite places in Queens. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu; everything is fresh and tasty. Plus, the owner is very personable and always there to make customers feel at home. We were there last night and can't wait to go back.
The food is fantastic, very tasty.
The lamb adana was delicious. The salad and rice equally outstanding. This place is worth it.
Excellent Turkish food in Sunnyside. The bread is amazing! Soft and crunchy at the same time. The entrees are great too and the serving sizes are just right. I finished everything! Staff are also very friendly. You pay 4% less if you pay with cash.
The food and service were exceptional. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, ensuring every customer was happy throughout the meal. We ordered the lamb shank with rice, and the lamb was incredibly tender, falling off the bone, while the rice paired perfectly with the rich stew. The portion was generous enough for two, and we also enjoyed the appetizer sampler with Turkish bread, which was so delicious I couldn’t stop dipping. For dessert, the baklava was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning to try more items from the menu. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean with a welcoming atmosphere that truly gave off authentic Turkish vibes.
This place has really amazing Turkish food. Most of the meat that I got from the Mixed Grill plate was delicious. Their bread was really fulfilling (especially with some oil dipping.) They have a good atmosphere, and the staffs were really friendly. This place is good for dates or if you're looking for good Turkish food. I highly recommend getting the lamb chops and or chicken (favorite from the Mixed plate.) Only thing I would like was ice in my water (but that's a personal preference, water was slightly cooled.)
The best lunch specials around — delicious, affordable, and served with great hospitality. The service is always warm and welcoming. Believe it or not, they also serve one of the best kunafa I’ve ever had! 100% recommended.
Delicious food. Friendly service. Quiet enough to have a conversation. I will definitely be back.
I had dinner here tonight and was lucky enough to meet the new owner. I ordered the Adana kebab and lentil soup. The food is always tasty and delicious, and the new owners guaranteed freshness with warm bread and dessert. The staff and owner made everyone in the restaurant feel at home. They were super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is calm, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The Turkish music playing in the background, menu and kind staff make this an authentic Turkish experience. Finally, the affordable pricing, especially for New York City, makes this restaurant worth a visit. I can’t wait to come back!
Great food. Really enjoyed the Adana Kebab and mix appetizers.
We love to eat here. The quality of food is extremely high. The service is always very good and the meals are affordable. We had the mixed meat plate and some lahmacun and humus. We could not stop eating until everything was gone and we were stuffed. You won't be sorry!
I just got two lahmacuns to-go, and the portion was enough to satisfy a gourmand like me. I can confidently say that I no longer need to go to Peterson for authentic Turkish flavors. I think the new owners have a big role in this amazing taste. Well done, it was the most delicious lahmacun I’ve had in New York.🙌🏻🙌🏻
My husband and I have been coming here for years! The food is always fresh and so tasty. I wish I could eat here everyday but we do try to go at least once a week! Service is always fast and prices are so reasonable for great delicious quality food! Their falafel, their appetizers, their baklava is the best! My husband loves loves their lamb chops! I hope they stay there forever! My go to Place Mediterranean!
After hearing about the new Zirve Turkish Grill, my husband and I had to try it out. It's been years since we last ate there and after the not-so-great showing at Taste of Sunnyside (maybe previous management?), we weren't sure if we would be back. But...I'm happy to report that last week we went there for dinner and the food was phenomenal! We ordered the babaganoush, beyti kabab, lamb chops, and one of the pides (kusbasili?). The warm, fresh bread with the pepper spread/tapanade was also delicious. They do have lunch specials so I'm looking forward to trying those as well. Definitely try them again if you haven't been there in awhile 😍
We absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and Turkish hospitality. The server was amazing, always attentive and made sure our lunch was nothing short of perfection. We decided to try Lahmacun and it was simply delectable! The flavors were incredibly tasty and the overall experience was delightful. The food was prepared with such care and expertise, leaving us completely satisfied and wanting more. To top it all off, towards the end of our meal, they kindly offered us a traditional Turkish tea, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful dining experience. Furthermore, the portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left with happy and satisfied tummies. We can't wait to return and indulge in their delectable offerings once again. This restaurant has definitely won us over with their amazing food, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere.
Food is fresh and delicious. Service is fantastic and super quick. Very affordable overall. Highly suggest to try the deserts, specifically kunefe. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff are super friendly. Would definitely come back
This place is absolutely fantastic! The food is great! You will be happy with pretty much anything you order from the menu. The service is great, and everyone is polite and warm. I highly recommend going there!
“I had dinner at Zirve Restaurant and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, delicious, and full flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. You can really taste the quality in every dish. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again!”
Delicious & kind service. Lamb chops were excellent. Will be back.
We've ordered delivery from here a couple of times before and always liked it. Finally stopped by for the in-person experience last week. Had some refreshing turkish beer, delicious babaghanoush, and a cheese pide that was so huge, I had lunch the next day. Our waitress was very kind and everything was priced fairly imo.
My friends and I were looking for some Mediterranean food and were pleasantly surprised with this place. The food was absolutely delicious. I got a lamb meat dish which was flavorful juicy. My friends tried other dishes and all were all raving about the taste. We finished the meal with some baklava and Turkish tea. The staff was super attentive and kind, and answered all our questions. The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. My friends and I had a great time conversing and eating. 10/10 would go again!
Amazing food and wonderful service! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff were welcoming and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. I truly enjoyed the experience and will be coming back again, InShaAllah
I had their skewers platter. It tastes really good. And their meat was tender and like that authentic taste too.
I really enjoyed my time here. I tried the chicken soup and beyti. They were both really delicious. The staff was also really kind. I highly recommend it.
I’ve been eating at this restaurant for about three years, and they’ve always been consistent ... everything is fresh and delicious. Don’t let the negative reviews fool you! Their lahmacun and mixed grill are better than what you’ll find at most 5-star restaurants.
Absolutely Turkish flavors. Great presentation and excellent quality. We're so glad we saw you while passing by and had your meal. This will be our go-to spot from now on. Thank you. You won't regret going.✌️
I just ordered from this restaurant and it was amazing! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the portion was perfect. The delivery was fast and the food arrived hot and well-packaged. Definitely impressed and will be ordering again soon!
Zirve Turkish Grill is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic — you can really taste the quality in every bite. The kebabs are perfectly seasoned and juicy, the bread comes out warm and soft, and the sides complement the meal so well. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. On top of that, the service is warm and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Turkish food and a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Nice place, good food, plenty of seating. Parking could be an issue depending on the time of your arrival, although there is plenty of paid parking on street if you don't feel like looking. Nice atmosphere 👌 I recommend this place IF Turkish food is your forte 😋. It is actually made by Turkish people so that's a plus. Lamb chops were juicy and well seasoned, dessert 🍨 🥧 was pretty good, i personally liked the rice pudding, although we ordered one of each dessert, the rice pudding was the best in my opinion.
I was looking for Mediterranean cuisine closer to me than Astoria and came across this restaurant. We ordered chicken soup, which I've had before in other places, chicken kebab dish and the mixed meat dish. Everything was exceptional and full of flavor. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I will absolutely be coming back soon.
Love this place so much! Got a variety of their dips - Lebni, humus, eggplant salad, tabuleh and more and they were one better than the next. Then we had the mixed grill which hit the spot and was totally shareable. Sarah the owner is a gem of a human and there’s a reason this place has been around for 20 years, it’s because she’s doing everything right - Highly Recommend!
I've eaten here a number of times and there food is usually good. The lamb chops were especially good. I've ordered out as well and that was fine (everything was nicely packed) but oddly they didn't give any yogurt sauce; don't know if that's typical or an oversight. Conveniently located near a 7 train stop along Queens Blvd. Parking can be difficult. Service is on the slower side; i don't think it's slow due to bad service, i think that's just the way they like to operate.
Cozy small restaurant. Food is very authentic with great tast. Servers are courteous. We ordered mixed grill and lamb chops. Price was around 65 dollars. I would recommend and might go back again. The only criticism would be the portions can be slightly more, maybe more salad or some hummus included in the platter.
Great, authentic Turkish food. Lots of bread and complimentary tea at the end of the meal. Had the kofte kebab set meal and lentil soup; both were great. Also enjoyed the Turkish coffee. I wish they had fresher tasting baklava though!
Place serves up nicely made and great tasting Turkish cuisine. Lunch specials during the day are quite a bit of food but you do get a good amount of bang for your buck. Knocked off one star only because the staff can ignore you sometimes and are in their own world chatting with each other. Otherwise a great place to go to.
First time take out from this place my experience was not bad at all, I ordered 2 pieces chicken Adana with rice was flavorful.
We stopped by Zirve Turkish Grill for dinner and had a decent overall experience. The two servers working were clearly trying their best, but the place felt a little mismanaged. They actually ran out of glasses for water, which was surprising, but our server went out of his way to bring us a bottle of water instead and didn’t charge for it. I appreciated that gesture, even though the situation itself felt a bit odd for a restaurant. Food took a little longer than expected to come out. We tried the fried calamari, a couple of kebab platters, and hummus. The bread was excellent and the hummus was solid. The calamari was just okay, and the kebabs were fine but nothing standout. The space itself is compact and simple, not a place you come for atmosphere, but it works for a casual meal. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 stars. There’s room for improvement, but the staff’s effort shows and a few of the dishes were enjoyable.
Great Turkish hospitality and food. The mezzes were all good. My favorite were the eggplant şakşuka and white beans. The tabbouleh was fresh too. The İmam bayıldı was good too, just a bit too sweet. I like that they offer lahmacun in small sizes. Only pity is the lady noted many dishes have added sugar which is very unlike Turkish cuisine.
Average nothing special. Doesn’t taste bad but doesn’t taste that great either. I got the doner over rice & side of Baclava for pick up. The doner was pretty good. Not a fan of the rice. The baclava was awful.. I’ve had better at halal food restaurants.
We ordered the mixed. Grill had no flavor presentations was minimal just thrown together with Turkish bread thrown in top covering the dish . Had to call the waiter for everything we wanted . This seems to be the new norm and they wonder why people don't go out to eat at restaurants. Very disappointed.
Went here as a family of 7 on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm, and were seated right away. It's a small, cozy place and the place started getting busy after 8:45/9 pm with not much seating left by 9:15 pm. We ordered a few things, including the Sheesh Kabab, Adana Kabab, and while ordering, our waitress mentioned that Chicken Gyro was their daily special. I ordered the Gyro with Salad (which normally comes with rice). The Gyro was ok when it warm and became very difficult to eat once it was a little colder. It didn't really have much of a taste and I wish it was a little juicier so it would've been a little easier to eat! Main course on an average is about $15 Service was good overall and we had a pleasant experience.
Sadly, a very disappointing experience of what is supposed to be "Turkish" cuisine. The wraps are full of shredded lettuce with barely any meat and flavor. The beef doner was super salty, barely edible and they gave us Franks Hot Sauce (no homemade stuff). I mean c'mon, some authenticity, given it's only one of the 2 "Turkish" restaurants in the area, I'd expect some effort. If you're willing to trek, try Turco in Hells Kitchen, the food is far better and this place could learn a thing on not giving up to provide a quality Turkish dish.
Good food, atmosphere was interesting. Sad part was dined yesterday and was being told about the drinks the turkish beer. No price, no details. Got the check later and for some reason. $10 a beer.... To make it more annoyed the first beer was regular size and the 2nd and third were smaller. No price difference. Sad restaurant
I tried eating here once before, but their in-house menu was different than their online menu, and all I wanted was a kebab sandwich (which they didn't offer for people eating in the restaurant), so I went somewhere else. Regardless of that awkward experience, I decided to try this place out a few years later since it had great reviews and my favorite Turkish place around the corner seems to have shut down. I will say that the food here is extremely delicious, but I am giving them 2 stars because a) one of the dishes my boyfriend and I ordered came missing part of the dish that is in the online description and b) when I called about it, the woman at the restaurant was EXTREMELY rude about it. Her excuse was that she asked Seamless/Grubhub to update the description and they don't offer the missing items with the meal anymore, and although I'm sure that's true, we specifically requested extra grilled vegetables (the item that was missing), which should have at least sparked a phone call or SOMETHING to let us know that we weren't receiving it and if there was something else we'd like to add to the order. We eventually got our refund back for the item, but I don't appreciate the attitude. Also, while the food is delicious, it is extremely expensive (the mixed platter is $26 and only comes with enough food to feed 1.5 adults or 2 children). While this does not impact my review since finer dining is usually on the more sparse side, I did want to give people a heads up in terms of portions in case it aids them in their decisions about what they're getting.
Ever since I moved to NY, this has been a go to place with my family. Unfortunately, over the years the quality of the food and service has gotten worse. I still eat here once in a while thinking it may have just been me. But today, was just a horrible night. Our dinner was rushed and I had to constantly ask for service due to lack of silverware and care. The quality of the food and flavor was terrible. I hesisteaded to write this review but it’s just unfortunate that a great place like this has really dropped the quality of their food and service.
We made a reservation and came to an empty restaurant. The service was spotty despite no other partons. One of the salads was tiny and tasteless and the doner came with a long hair...This place used to be so good, both in food and service. Not anymore.
My brother, I beg you, less salt in the mixed grill, please! Grilled lamb already has a lot of flavor, don't kill it with salt.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered the mix grill. It was $30. I ordered thinking it would feed 2 people. I barley feeds 1. That’s not even the main issue the meat was ROTTEN! It smelled horrible and tasted even worse. This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten from period!!! I called the restaurant and told them the issue and the guy who was on the phone said “idk what to tell you I just work here I don’t make the food, you’re talking to the wrong person” and then hung up. Save your money?
This place was great I loved there food, and there portions. I noticed a small decline in there service and food. I kept going back giving them another chance. The final last straw was when they served us funky smelly kebabs. It turned out it was old meat they molded and turned it into round kebabs. We order the same dish every time. We know what things taste like. The portions were completely off. The mixed grill used to fill two people with a price tags of $30 now they taken that and portioned it for one person and kept the price the same. The service went down the drain we asked for 2 more lamb chops a request we asked before which they gladly granted because they charged what they charged. But for some reason the waitress said they never ever do that and if we wanted extra lamb chops we would have to pay for the meal. It’s sad I’ve been coming here for over 16 years.
Horrible service… the boy works at night he doesn’t know how to behave or how to serve.
I don’t know if it is because they were busier than usual, but the service we received from the only waiter they have was terrible. When we were seated, he did not bring the water as usual (usually, once you sit down, he brings water); we had to ask for it after 15 minutes later while ordering. Then, I asked for the bread and the oil (again, usually they bring it once you sit down) because I saw him giving it to someone else right away who arrived after us, but I was denied twice. He said it was because my appetizer should be coming out soon, but if I’m requesting something you usually bring to everyone clearly, why am I being denied? Then, to top it all off, our water glasses were half-empty, but we saw he was coming in our direction with a water pitcher. He proceeded to walk past us, fill all the water glasses of the party next to us, then walked straight past our table again. Ridiculous. He was blatantly ignoring us. I definitely won’t be coming back any more. Disgusting treatment.
First time here bad customer service no kebabs taste I don’t recommend anyone
Terrible service and online pickup arrangement. I went against my judgement and ignored the low rating and placed an order from this place. First of all they automatically charge you $5 tip even for pickup order. Secondly they were 30 minutes late. Didn’t really acknowledge or apologized for the wait. When we come with our food we realized one item was missing from our order!!!!! From beginning to end horrible experience. I will not get anything from them again and definitely not recommend. New management doesn’t really seem like made any upgrades.
