Had a nice lunch here. The Cesar salad was really good as was the caprese sandwich. The croque monsieur took a really long time but they were pretty good too. Cute little restaurant.

I like the cozy, warm atmosphere here. It is cafeteria style, going down a line with your tray. You place your order, get your salad or soup, pay, and pick your table, then your food is brought to your table. You can get free bread at the cashier's, but I wish it was available on the counter like it used to be. It is especially nice in the cooler months when the fireplace is on. They also have a small bakery with cakes, tarts, cookies and bread. I had the chicken la Madeleine, which was really good, with rice, broccoli and mushroom gravy.

The Croque Madam was by far the best out of the dishes we tried (unfortunately its the one dish I didn't get a photo of). We had the Country French Breakfast, Chicken Pesto Pasta, Turkey Cheese Croissant, and Roast Beef Croisant with potato soup. The sandwiches/croissants come with your choice of a soup or salad. Don't know why I initially thought this place would be overpriced/expensive but I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable these meals were. When you walk in you take a menu and once you're ready to order you walk up to the salad bar. Afterwards your party picks the table themselves. Don't know if they'll do this for long but wait until after you order your meal to fill out the survey on your receipt and get a free pastry, coffee, or dessert. We went around 11am and it was not too busy.

We really liked this restaurant! Here you can have a very tasty breakfast and you will have a wide range of dishes. Quiche Lorraine was perfect, very-very delicious, I definitely recommend to try it. Quiche is big, so I recommend to order it for two people. They have a wide selection of breakfasts with croissants. Croissants and pastry were fresh and tasty. Napoleon was soft and interesting in taste because it differs from the classic recipe. It was good but the upper part - vanilla fondant icing was a bit too sweet for me.

I absolutely have loved la madeleine for pretty much all of my life. My husband & I eat there once a week. We always get the French dip. WTH la madeleine??? You discontinued the best sandwich ever! I’m still in shock.

We tried the hot chocolate, Croissant and Croque Monsieur. Overall we found food was average. We have had better french food. It's more like a diner than a French bakery. There is indoor and outdoor seating too. There are hardly any vegetarian options. Service is quick. The staff was wearing mask and was professional.

I would not recommend. We were already skeptical when the lot was empty at 6pm on a Friday. The staff were all very nice but our table was never bussed, the crepes were dull, lemonade had no ice and was not fresh squeezed, and quiche was tasteless. The French toast was good and the pizza was decent. The actual decor of the place was very nice with the fire place and all but the floors were sticky and dirty, the bread plate had dried food, I saw a few scuttle flies by their salad and when we were leaving at 7pm, a staff member was standing on the stove cleaning the wall… will not be going back and I do not recommend!

TERRIBLE service. Me and my family have been coming for years and my mother and her mother have been going to this location for years and today, Friday, at 12:15 I went to have lunch with my mother and the man who checked out my order and was absolutely rude, I had accidentally gotten a tray and he snapped at me and i went and got one and his attitude was short to me. I brushed it off at first but, at the end of my lunch i went to go grab a togo box and as he was being kind and talkative with other customers, automatically switched to being short and absolutely rude. I didn’t have any issues walking in and i didn’t cause any trouble. This is just unacceptable to treat faithful customers, who are paying and tipping YOU. Especially when you don’t understand how people days have been. La Madeline, do better this was disrespectful and selective behavior that should NOT be tolerated in any setting. If you’re having a bad day, take a walk, DON’T take it out on your customers. I understand it’s not every worker but the service you provide is very important.

This might have been the worst La Madeline location I have been to. This is me and my mother's favorite restaurant and we have been going for over 10 years at this point back in Dallas. We had to repeat our order at least 3 times to the person taking orders. It took 15 minutes to even get to the person taking orders because it was taking so long. They made our soup so early that by the time we sat down it was cold. Why not just bring it with our food when it's hot? There was one poor kid who actually was doing his best but I didn't even see a manager once. Bless that kid making a lot of the soup and salad. All on top of this, we see the cashier taking money from people and then going and making a salad with no gloves on. After 30 minutes of waiting is when we actually get HALF our order, after having to ask what's going on. We got half of our order at one time, and then we had to find out where the rest of our meal is. All of it was cold by the time we got that 1st half (French dip) at all. Just a terrible experience. Hire more people of you are going to charge $13 for a sandwich.

Can't seem to get a table cleaned off. I had to go ask twice. The gentlemen up front was not helpful. Food ordering and cashing out service was friendly. In the dinning area there was food under several of the tables. Food was excellent.

Complete breakdown in service AND order accuracy I don’t leave reviews often, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. I called at 8:14 PM because the online/app menu does not allow you to order a plain Nutella crêpe — it only shows strawberry Nutella. I wanted to avoid confusion. Someone answered, put me on hold, and never came back. I waited over 8 minutes before hanging up. Since it was getting late, I placed the order online and clearly noted “PLAIN WITH EXTRA NUTELLA” (twice). There is a character limit, so I couldn’t write “no strawberries,” but “plain” should be self-explanatory. At pickup, the restaurant was nearly empty. One employee was polite and offered me a drink — appreciated. However, my completed order sat on the counter while staff talked and did paperwork. I had to ask if the crêpes were mine and clarify they were already paid for before anyone handed them over. Then I got home — and both crêpes were completely wrong. They were loaded with strawberries and cream, and I honestly don’t see or taste the “extra Nutella” I paid for. This is exactly what I tried to avoid by calling in the first place. I paid $24.38 for two items I did not order. Between: • being left on hold • inattentive service at pickup • app limitations • and ignoring a very clear order note this was a total failure in basic customer service and order accuracy. Photos attached show the receipt and the actual food. I won’t be returning to this location.

I came in to have lunch today. When I paid, the girl on the other side of the counter told me it would be $17. I paid with card and did not leave a tip on that card transaction. She told me they were out of receipt paper and count not provide me a receipt. I didn't think anything of it at the time. A bout and hour later I look at my bank statements and I had been charged $21. This would equate to about a 20% tip. I believe the girl charging people was selecting a tip amount on her own and then not providing a reciept to cover that up. I called to have this refunded and the manager seemed to not even care. This is illegal activity and very concerning. If you have eaten here before, I would be weary of this behavior from the staf..

Asked for a kids meal sandwich with nothing but ham, lettuce, tomato. When we got home the sandwich had chicken salad. This restaurant is close to our house and we like the menu but the service and attention has gotten progressively worse. I will do my best to stop going to this restaurant and I would certainly not recommend it to anyone at this time

didn’t even receive my food after an hour and 15 mins after ordering. ended up having to leave to find a different place to eat. My girlfriend got cold food that was supposed to be hot 50 mins after ordering. I look in the kitchen to see if my food was anywhere close to being done and the waiter said he has no idea when my food will get done. I look in the kitchen and see the chef sneeze all over the food he was making, pop it in the oven and then proceed to serve it in the window. Grossed me out, I asked for a refund and told the waiter what I saw. This was my first time here and I was looking forward to eating here. My girlfriend and her sister praised the their experience so I was excited. Cute spot but Unfortunately I had a bad experience. Hope this helps and the kitchen gets talked to about health and the dos and don’t of the kitchen.

I really wish it was possible to give 0 stars for the food. The price is absolutely ludicrous for what they serve you. I'm pretty sure that the croissant sandwich is heated in a microwave, if it is, they should switch to the Costco brand which tastes better. Overall if you're expecting some place that has decent food for a decent price, this is NOT that place.
