We have been going there for dim sum since my daughter 8 yrs old and now she is 20. The staff are great and dim sum options are wonderful. Order shrimp balls, Chinese greens, Long Beach noodles, steam shrimp dumplings, beef chow fun, and Chinese pancake on Sundays between 11am - 2pm for dim sum. Take the family. You will not regret.
Food was fresh, delicious and fast! The restaurant itself was extremely clean, with plenty of seating. Something that bothers me about other restaurants is when the staff sweeps and vacuums, kicking up all kinds of dust & dirt, while I'm eating! I was happily surprised that there is no carpeting and the floor was already clean when we arrived. And excellent first impression! Our waiter treated us like we were the most important people he'd ever served, very friendly and efficient, answering my endless questions (What's this? What's in that?) without being condescending at all. My only wish is that the buffet hours were longer. Other than that, my daughter, her fiance and I have plans to get there in plenty of time to enjoy a great big lunch this week and I can't wait!
Have been coming here since a kid. Food is always hot and fresh! Definitely a must try!
Thank you China Pavilion. Dinner, service excellent last night. Like the original owner. Well done.
My fellow school bus driver and I were on another trip from Vestal school district, and stopped her for dinner. OMG it was absolutely fantastic! I had pepper steak and onion. I only wish we had a good Chinese place like this in our area. The steak was high quality. It was tender, juicy beef that melted in my mouth. It was seasoned perfectly. Most places around here taste like badly seasoned rubber. The egg rolls were crispy hot and were seasoned to perfection. My friend had sweet and sour chicken, vegetable egg rolls; he said it was delicious. We stop by every time we are in town now. Highly recommend
We ordered a large amount of food, some Gluten Free some not, and it was sooo good. Me and my daughter hadn't had chinese food for years because the place we used to get it from glutened us from cross contamination. But we decided to risk it, and we were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious! They have so many choices and an actual GF menu. When on the web site scroll all the way down for GF, but pay attention there is 1 or 2 types of GF items that are mixed in the menu still tword the bottom though. 5 stars all day!
Phenomenal main dish, with multiple free starters, best Chinese I've had and I'll be coming here repeatedly
My family and I stopped in for dinner and were seated quickly. This place was recommended as a Gluten free option which is helpful when navigating allergies! My daughter is also allergic to egg and milk, I let the server know and she was able to put in the accommodation request for our entire family meal. The food came out fresh and hot, we all were able to eat comfortably and safely! Portions were big so we even had some to take home. This place is a little further away from our home, but with the friendly and accommodating service we will make this a regular place we get to enjoy!!
This was a quick to go order so I can’t vouch for the restaurant but what I had was very good. The shrimp fried rice was light and fluffy with good flavor and a nice amount of shrimp. My wife s vegetable and tofu soup was packed with veggies and a ton of tofu but was a little bland flavor wise. Service was warm and my to go order was done early
Wonderful experience and delicious food. Were always taken care of whether we’re dining in or getting take out. They also have a really tasty lunch buffet. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
My granddaughter and I came here for the lunch buffet the food was very fresh and was delicious the hostess was extremely nice and as well as the man who brought me my tea! We will definitely be back for sure not a whole lot of food out but a wonderful variety of things I had two plates as well as my granddaughter!!! Very clean establishment very cozy feel!
This place is truly outstanding. I have only been for their Sunday Dim Sum but the dim sum is amazing and comparable to dim sum I’ve had in major cities. I personally recommend the shrimp balls, roasted duck, taro shrimp, tofu wraps, and Long Beach noodles. Service is excellent- the place is family run and the owners are very sweet. Overall this place is incredible and I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had here!
I stopped for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this was ,how much food I received on lunch menu . It included tea, won ton chips with sweet dip, main dish ,rice and soup. I had to take a lot ho.e for another meal. I will definitely go back and the price was so reasonable.
Was extremely impressed with this place. The food is made fresh and comes out nice and hot. My first visit was with my friend who used to go here often years ago with her family. I was sick with a nasty cold and made sure to order the hot and sour soup with my meal. When we were finishing up our meal the owner stopped at our table and recognized my friend, even though she hasn't been there in years! I told her how much I loved the place and how it hit the spot when feeling sick. She asked if I got the hot and sour soup for my cold. I told her yes and that it was delicious. She brought me over an extra cup of soup to take home with me! We also raved about their tea and she made us another pot to enjoy before leaving. I was so beyond impressed with the food and the customer service. Since then we try to stop here for a meal whenever we can, and it never disappoints. I can see why they've been in business for so many years!
This is one of those locally owned restaurants that doesn't taste like every other Chinese restaurants. If you appreciate fresh vegetables and actual meat and not fat in your meat dishes than this place is for you. I have never ordered anything close to bad off their menu: the chicken with garlic sauce is white meat, the general Tso's(or any variation of it) is always good, the egg rolls are hand made, and they do not over do it on the sauces. If you come around lunch time the buffet is always a good option. On the west side of town, this is the best Chinese restaurant.
Great restaurant, especially for those with gluten sensitivity/allergies. 95% of the menu can be made gluten free upon request, and the servers are knowledgeable and helpful with gluten problems. Tea comes with your meal; ours was a good oolong. Delicious food, clean location, and friendly, attentive servers. Highly recommend!
This was my first time ordering from here. I heard good things. But I wasn't too impressed. What usually costs me $15.25 for general tso combo with chicken lo mein was $19.10 here. And the flavors were lacking. They give you a generous amount on the combo. But skimp on stuffing the egg roll. And stuffing the crab rangoon. Which you only receive 6 small tiny ones. Pretty disappointing. Not worth the price. I'll order from somewhere else next time. Inside was quiet and Clean for sit down dining.
Great service: complimentary chips and sauce with tea Food: generous portion sizes overall. gluten free options! the pad thai was reminiscent of ketchup and had carrots in it. wasn’t exactly traditional but not bad. wish they could have cut the chicken chunks into smaller sizes. gluten free spring rolls were good and very crunchy. Atmosphere: average
Unfortunately, I didn't read any reviews of this place as I should have, first of all the main dish had no flavor. I ordered seafood delight and egg drop soup, it had absolutely no flavor. Price was $30, excessively high priced. The seafood delight was ok, but the fried rice was moist and then there were hard bits of rice also, so I literally was spitting out bits of hard rice . The so called "egg drop" soup, was nothing more than "eggs and water." Disgusting!!! I would never go there again.
My wife and I ordered Sweet and Sour, sesame chicken. 1st for the price they were small. 2nd my pork fried rice was just nasty rice no pork the sesame chicken was soggy no flavor and nasty my dog wouldn't eat it and no sour sause for the chicken. Sorry no disrespect but 5 stars that people gave probably didn't eat any Chinese any where else but there, they don't know what good food is if they gave this place 5 stars. 3rd money thrown away, 1st and last time ordering or eating there period, new long on Salina is the best farther away but worth it place suck.
Went to china pavilion for the first time, ordered general tso combination, there was an upcharge to get pork fried rice. The whole meal was terrible threw it out what a waste of 16.00. Would never go there again.
Where to start... Over priced for small portions. Spent $50 on 2 combos and an appetizer through grub hub!!! What a shame! Paid for a side of low mein but instead of a side they took out the fried rice and put in the low mein. That is not what we ordered. The fried rice for the other meal had nothing in it. The amount of peppers outweighed the chicken 2-1. The sauce was watery and tasteless. Will not be ordering here again.
