1st time eating at Guadalajara. Food and atmosphere was great! Judith was our waitress. She was kind, attentive to us, and checked in how everything was and if we needed anything. We will definitely be back.

Guadalajara served up some delicious and fresh food packed with flavor. The fajitas were excellent, very well seasoned. The drinks were well crafted with just the right amount of alcohol to get you tipsy. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, a great spot for good vibes and great food.

Everything was just so good. Service was easily the best part, the presentation of the food is nice. For the amount of food I’d also say prices are pretty fair. Definitely going back again

Very cute place, prices aren't bad and tacos were very good. They have very good drink specials and there's a pretty good selection. Our waitress was very very chill and she was well informed about the contents of the menu, she helped us come to a decision about what to order we really appreciated it. Definitely will come again. Just a warning it was packed, we got seated pretty quickly but it was pretty full in there. They do have a bar though if you just wanna sit and grab a drink

Great food, got the tex mex nachos and it was loaded with beef, chicken shrimp and grilled vegetables. Could have used a bit more cheese/queso but otherwise fantastic. Also their house salsa was really good. I love the vibes at this spot .

Fun atmosphere and good service, Chelsea was lovely! The food was decent, the rice and beans were an odd burnt orange color but tasted ok. The portions were kinda small and plates didn't come with any sour cream...could do better.

This place is clean and has a fun vibe to it. Waitress was attentive and friendly. The shrimp fajitas and steak tacos were delicious! Fish tacos left a little to be desired. Make sure you try their queso!

🗣️ TACO TUESDAY! Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. Food was very flavorful with a nice portion size. My 8 year old daughter asked for a side of sour cream and the amount she got made her ecstatic 😂. My only complaint would be the amount of fat (not well rendered) on the steak I had, but I just cut it away and went on stuffing my face! Definitely recommend and we will be returning.

Came here and is usually good but for starters food was made front for my partner and so she brought out my food and we had to wait like 15 minutes for the other plate. And it’s okay to make mistakes but when a couple are coming into a restaurant to sit down they want to eat together, my food is getting cold whilst I wait for the other plate . After 15-20 minutes waiting on the second plate the well done steak comes out burnt. It’s not packed or anything it’s a Monday . Very unsatisfied with my jerky that was supposed to be carne asada.

I love this place when we eat there. Excellent food, great atmosphere. Takeout? Don’t bother. The beans came in a tiny cup like a dipping sauce would. Normally you get quite a bit. My kids pretty much go there for the beans, so I went back to see if they would make it right. They were nice enough and gave us some more, but when I got back I realized they had left one of the three orders out. We ordered at 5, the place was empty so they weren’t slammed. Not willing to go there a third time, I asked for a refund on the missing portion of the order. They took my info again and said to “check back in a couple of days”. The takeout experience ruined this place for me.

Absolutely horrible service. We've been to a lot of restaurants and rarely every complain. This was by far the worst experience at a restaurant that I have ever had. My Carne Asada came out 20 minutes before my wife got her food. Then they brought her food, but still hadn’t brought us any utensils. That was another 5 minute wait. Then we had to ask for the tortillas for my carne asada, which we asked about multiple times. After about another ten minutes, when I was about half way through my cold food (that initially arrived over 30 minutes prior on a very hot skillet) the waitress brought a plate that had all of the condiments for my food. I just looked at her and said, my food arrived over half hour ago. I told her I didn’t want it at this point since I was so irritated. Then I spoke with the manager and explained everything. I said that we understood that they were very busy but this was really bad service. She said they would take some off our bill due to our troubles. They took off my wife’s extra side of sour cream and my extra order of jalapeños. WOW! They took off a few dollars. Unbelievable!

My wife brought me home a meal from here. It was a burrito. They only wrapped the meat, and vegetables into the burrito, not the beans or the rice.. The burrito wrap was soaking wet and fell apart immediately when you tried to wrap the burrito. I don't know why they wouldn't just wrap the burrito with everything in it for you. Put it all in a bowl cause it was un-edible as a burrito. Idk why they don't know how to do takeout but it was very disappointing.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience has made me reconsider going to this restaurant ever again. For context, my spouse and I were among the earliest patrons of Guadalajara in 2021. We're from out of town and we always made sure to stop by this restaurant every time we are in Syracuse. In fact, until today, we consistently recommended Guadalajara as one of the best restaurants in the region. Today, we were disappointed by every measure. Despite being seated immediately, our waiter did not come to our table for almost 30 minutes. It took another 20 minutes to get drinks and place our food order. When the food arrived, my order of 2 burritos and a taco was instead just two burritos -- only one of which was correct. This frustration is compounded by the waiter expecting us to fix the mishap, but our bill showed the missing burrito at a price not listed on the menu. My dining companions noted that their food was fine, if burnt, but nothing exciting. Our poor experience was heightened when we saw unprofessional behavior from our waiter, including returning a knife to the table from the floor (ew) and several somewhat exploit dance moves (huh). It was clear that the wait staff was more interested in each other than the customers. 90+ minutes of slow service later, we decided to skip dessert and cut our losses after this disappointing experience. Highly recommend going to Cake Bar down the road! Edit 01/25: We had contacted the restaurant as requested below & we have not heard back. Very disappointed.

We went to Guadalajara Saturday night with two of our friends. We’ve been several times and always been happy. Saturday night… food was great, service was great, but when it came to our bill not so much. Chelsea our waitress came over with her hand held machine to pay with a card. We told her we were probably paying cash. As she ran down our portion looking at the screen she gave us our total, we paid her cash. When it came to her tip portion, I did not have enough, so I borrowed it from my friends to pay her a 20% tip. As we were driving home in my head, I was saying the total didn’t seem right so we total up our items looking at the menu and after realizing it was $20 more than what we should have paid, I called the restaurant to speak to the manager and told her what happened and asked her to explain our bill to us. She said that we were charged the 20% gratuity because the bill was over $100 and it was a split check. This is a warning post: Chelsea waited at our table as we were paying with cash and saw me ask my friends to borrow money as I was a little short to pay her 20% tip when she knew that 20% gratuity was already added in and did not say one word to us about it being included. The manager did not do anything about it other than quickly say it states on the bottom of receipt, I told her we did not get a receipt and to only apologize and that she would speak to Chelsea. This is completely wrong on all levels knowing the gratuity was already added in and her not telling us or our friends. Not sure when we will return to Guadalajara as this did not sit right with us. Please be aware when you are paying your bill with other parties involved.
