I walked in 20 minutes early accidentally, and the staff were still incredibly polite. They let me get seated, started taking my order, and even got me some food before they officially opened. Additionally, the food itself was really good. I recommend trying all of the sauces. I was blown away. Hoping to come back here in the future with some friends.

The food was amazing, the vibe of this place gave LA vibes . I would return in a heartbeat. If you like frozen margaritas and tacos come here . Also , the menu had dietary options like GF , dairy free which I love because I’m lactose intolerant.

I enjoyed the lobster tacos. Best lobster tacos I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the carnitas and chicken tacos. So well made, great combination of flavors. I got a shot of Agave Azul which obviously raised my price. But I’m so glad they have some great top shelf tequila options. The guava margarita was so flavorful, the perfect amount of sweetness, and a great compliment to the food. I’m sad I don’t live in Syracuse. If I did, this would be a regular stop for me, maybe minus the top shelf tequila on each visit lol. Totally worth a try, I highly recommend. The atmosphere is really chill as well. All in all I’m super satisfied. A huge fan of this spot

Great time here at XO Taco. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza right around the corner. I noticed XO on google maps and it had great and consistent reviews, so I decided to take a short walk. I was surprised to see that at 8pm on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday) night, the place was packed! All of the outside tables and most of the inside tables were occupied. The environment was very live and trendy. Lovely decor. Neat, clean and modern. I was taken to an open table. There is a QR code that you can scan to view the menu which has tacos, burritos, chicken tenders and a bunch of other items. If you want to order tacos, you will be given is little checklist where you can check of the types and quantities of tacos you want. There is also a full bar there and they serve a variety of beers, wines, mixed drinks and margaritas. I ordered a few different tacos ($5-6 each) and a beer ($4-6). The wait for food wasn't long...about 10-15 minutes...not bad given how busy they were. The tacos were delicious. They also have some tasty sauces on each table with various heat intensities. All staff I encountered, including my server, were friendly, patient and helpful. Super positive environment. I would love to return when I am in town again to try some other items.

Loved my burrito. Looked beautiful, tasted great. Not wet and sloppy like a lot of other places. The hot sauces there are excellent too. I bought 2 of them. We also got the Macho Fries. They were tasty, but incredibly massive and would probably feed 4 people. I wish they added more guacamole to the fries. I cant wait to come back to the area and try some other things on the menu.

Amazing experience here just this evening. Although we had a long wait due to our group size, the hostess Ashley took amazing care of us. We noticed just how many tables she was attending to, and we still did not feel forgotten because she came back so frequently to check on us before we even needed anything extra. Such a positive experience. The nachos were to die for. The beef was so tender and the shrimp addition really elevated the meal. You could tell that the tacos were very meticulously crafted with a great attention to detail. We had one or two of each and they were all amazing!

Great Vibes, Better Service! If you’re looking for a spot in Syracuse with great energy and flavorful food, XO Taco is definitely worth the visit. First and foremost, our server, Jami, was absolutely wonderful. She was pleasant, charming, and perfectly embodied the welcoming, friendly spirit I’ve come to expect from Syracuse residents. Great service can make or break a meal, and Jami truly elevated our afternoon. The menu is vibrant and the food is undeniably favorable and filling. You can tell they prioritize fresh ingredients and creative flavors. * A Note on Value: I will say that the tacos are on the smaller side relative to the price point. It feels like a "quality over quantity" situation; you’re paying a bit of a premium for the craft and the atmosphere, but the taste definitely delivers. Whether you’re just visiting the area or you’re a local looking for a trendy spot to grab a bite, I’d definitely recommend stopping in. The atmosphere is fun, the food is delicious, and the staff is top-notch. P.S. If you get seated with Jami, tell her I say hi!

Service was fairly slow, she didn’t know we were seated for about ten minutes. Margarita pitcher was not great, just tasted like cheap tequila, good value though. Food is a hit or miss, burritos usually very good.

Overall food is not bad, my food was cold when it arrived however flavor was still there and after a pretty lengthy wait I wasn’t going to complain because it’s not the servers fault. The house sauces- delicious! Maybe we’ll catch them on a better day but it seems like weekends are their busiest days and not ideal if you don’t want to wait for seating and foo. Will I try them again? Yes. I would. Drinks were solid. Tacos were OK but I’m also from California so my bias might mean nothing.

The food is most excellent and delicious! Especially the Lobster taco. I did not give a 5 star because of the ordering process. You have to fill out your order on small pieces of paper with very small print. I love this food, but without my glasses, I cannot see to order on those pieces of paper. It is also kind of confusing. The waitress was not so accommodating.

Walked in with a party of 8, they wanted to sit us at tall table next to the bar.. too close to people; we asked to sit at a table with more room and the hostess said the server for that area left already...thank goodness for another server (Tyler, who was absolutely amazing!!). But the lighting was too dim for my taste, the ordering process was over complicated (had to fill out basically a bingo card) and the menu was too complicated as well. Food wasn't bad, but wasn't the best nether... especially based on the prices.

My food was good but one of my companions requested no cilantro (he's allergic) and his burrito came with cilantro in it. My other companion did not like the taste of her lobster burrito and got sick later that night. The server was friendly and helpful, though, and the specialty Halloween cocktails were good.

So I happen to stumble onto this place on a drunk night out with colleagues. With that be said I will have to come try the food again to make sure I truly love it. I will say that I don’t like the ordering process if you are going to make me order myself then at least make it digitally. The food while intoxicating was very good very small as well.

The atmosphere is fun and lively, the staff is friendly and the food looks good. That’s where the good times stop (unless you like spicy food). The food is pretty flavorless except for the hot sauce. I’m not against spicy food but when it’s the ONLY flavor, it’s a bit disappointing. Also, $6 for a taco when it’s not a great taco is not worth it.

Ordered through doordash and the nachos were alright.. taste is good but nothing special. Also, got two orders of carne asada tacos and it surprised me that one order is only ONE taco of the size of my finger for $7!!! The tacos were alright as well but nothing special. Nachos (without meat) and two tacos more than $40!! Definitely not worth it. Best place in NYC sells better tacos at $4 each. This is Syracuse, price is just absurd for the area

Restaurant was very nice inside. Food was just okay, nothing to return for. Price is too high based on what you get. There is no complementary salsa and chips provided before your meal.
