Excellent location in downtown Syracuse around the corner from the MOST. Food is absolutely delicious!!!! Indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting of course). Drinks are strong, and large! Birria tacos are to dieeeee for, butthe guacamoleis even better!!! If you have theater plans, you may want to tell waitstaff before you order as food can take a while to come out from the kitchen.

The location, ambiance, and decor of this Mexican restaurant are perfect, but parking can be a challenge. While the food is good, I'd rate it an 8 out of 10, as it doesn't quite live up to the high standard set by other Mexican restaurants in the area. The margaritas we had actually weren't that good either. However, I would still highly recommend this for a date night or a night out with friends.

Not what I expected. I was hesitant to come here at first with the prices and also thinking it was more bar than restaurants and 1/3 of the size. I couldn't have been more wrong. It has great reviews for many great reasons! The decor was very well done, the service was very good, the chips and salsa were good and a touch spicy which was perfect, the food was played to perfection and the portions were worth the price, and the restaurant was clean. It may be pricey, but it was worth it.

We discovered this delightful gem completely by accident while traveling through Syracuse. The atmosphere is phenomenal with bright colors, a rustic feel, while feeling metropolitan. They had plenty of seating both inside and outside and the service was fantastic. The food was EXCELLENT and well worth the price. The menu was very diverse and lengthy. They had a beautiful bar area and wonderful drink selection.

Loved this place! Everyone in my party had a great time and enjoyed their food. I had the Pollo Hawaiian and a Raspberry Margarita and everything was so good. I will be returning. The gratuity was included in the bill (I only had a party of 4) but that was perfectly fine because the food and service was amazing. 10/10 recommend if you are in the Syracuse area.

Had lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Mainly by the menu selection (extensive), portion size (huge), and quality of the food (incredible)! I would rate this in my top five Mexican restaurants in upstate NY given the great food, service, and really creative decor (see pictures)! Absolutely worth a stop for the guacamole appetizer. It was delicious and enough for a table of four. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla and they were really well prepared as the chicken was seasoned wonderfully and it came with a ton of rice, veggies, and sour cream. Margarita was delicious and definitely had a kick of tequila! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband & I had dinner at the back bar this evening before a show at the local theater. Our bartender was Tessa. She was wonderful & attentive! The food was delicious. She helped my husband select his meal & she was right on. The bill came & it was extremely reasonable. We will definitely go back again soon!!

I had the enchiladas, beans, rice, and margaritas, and everything was delicious! The enchiladas were especially good, with a flavorful filling and a crispy tortilla. The beans and rice were also cooked perfectly, and the margaritas were refreshing and not too sweet. The atmosphere at the restaurant is nice and cozy, with traditional Mexican decor. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fast. The prices are also reasonable, making this a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family.

Margaritas Mexican Cantina is awesome. I've ordered delivery many times, today was the first time in the restaurant and what I already knew about great food just got better. First the atmosphere, be ready for some fun, the music is lively and the decor is just gorgeous. The service, they only had 2 waiters at the time of my visit, and the teamwork, hustle and smiling faces with positive attitudes we got and everyone was getting was phenomenal. The food, my wife got some tacos and I got a burrito. I'm not entirely sure if we stopped to come up for air during our feeding but it was delicious with every bite! The chips and salsa are great and there isn't a single complaint to be found. I'm looking forward to my next order already. And I hope as always that you will Enjoy!!

Be very careful guys I sat at the bar and gratuity was included for meals over $50 so I placed my order and it was wrong when I got it and I sent it back for the correct order. I ordered two drinks they were different prices then on my check just like my meal as well and gratuity was included. The bartender Up charged my whole meal so it would be over $50 just so the gratuity was forced. Never again.

Everything was great but you can’t force the customer to give 20% tip. It’s your job to pay the employees better from your profit. $51.00 bill should not have automatically charged gratuity of 20%. Not coming back ever. You lost a good and loyal customer

Absolutely terrible experience. The tacos came with boiled, flavorless chicken that tasted like it came straight out of a pot of water. The enchiladas were even worse — cold with unmelted cheese inside, like they skipped the oven completely. To top it off, the mojitos were watery and tasteless. Save your money and go somewhere that actually knows how to make Mexican food.
