This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Syracuse. Local cops will only eat at 3 or 4 Chinese restaurants in the city and this is one of the busiest and most reliable.

Tight Space there were 12 people in basically a phone booth waiting to order or to pick up food. This is because they closed their dining room after the Pandemic. They have a whole Banquet Hall I've never saw in Use it's been closed for years and now there's a window you order from. GREAT FOOD though.

I love that they sell a fried HALF chicken and also the best rib tips. Downfall is the half chicken takes 30 min fresh so call ahead cuz its worth it!

I frequent this place often when in Syracuse. I eat there at least 2-3 times a month. I love the shrimp fried rice. Its not greasy at all. They give u lots of shrimps. I also love shrimp lo Mei and shrimp egg rolls. The sweet sour sauce is soooooo good,I put on my egg roll and my fried rice. You can literally feed 4 people for $30. My king lives the Rib tips,sweat sour chicken and General Tso’s chicken. Those are his favs. My nephew loves the shrimp in lobster sauce. I have been eating here for at least 15ys. Great food fresh and prices are amaizing

Love eating here, really great tasting food, very quick service. You don't have to wait to long for your food, they are really fast there. The Crab Rangoon is really good, they make them the best here. Love their shrimp lomen too. Very tasty food.

This place is the best Spare Ribs, Egg Rolls (spring rolls) and their prices are reasonable. If you are ever in Syracuse - Visit this place. The sign is faded, but the place is very clean inside. Excellent and Fast service for lunch as well. A +++ in my book.

New Long Cheng has the serious chicken gizzards. It's american Chinese food with the hood twist! If you are looking for Chinese you know what to expect from New Long Cheng...it's just good. Don't eat it to often though cause they are not shy about saturating food in cooking oil. Also it should be noted that the hot sauce at this place is rather unique it tastes like duck sauce with spice... :/ besides that it is just average I haven't gotten sick. If your in Bird or on campus definitely check it out.

Food was ok.. ordered pork fried rice with beef in mushrooms.. barely had any beef and they gave me an overwhelming amount of water chestnuts

If you are eating from this restaurant you have to be very clear with them when ordering food I ordered BBQ rib tips and there was no BBQ sauce they were very dry and hard . So i asked the owner what happened to the barbecue sauce they said I would have to pay a extra dollar.

A Southside staple for many years and is one of the only restaurants that actually serves fried chicken gizzards but if you're looking for a place to deliver you have better luck trying one of the Chinese restaurants or Asian restaurants in Armory Square downtown or even on the Northside the mall this place does not seem to deliver and does not give a definitive area in which it does deliver and they will ask you where you are and then they will tell you no they do not even if you ask them specifically where they deliver they get snippy and avoid the question

They are very inconsistent one day they claim to charge tax and another they don't! They look baffled when asked for a clear copy of a receipt. The food is alright at best and service is mediocre.

Disgusting and unsanitary Chefs clothing is filthy Not sure why the health dept hasn't shut them down

I used to love this place but i ordered some shrimp fried rice from here and got home there was a MAGGOT in my rice , when I brought the food back they told me that I put it there, this place is disgusting and I will never eat here again and for future references CHECK YOUR FOOD thoroughly before eating from here

They were rude. Uncooperative and uncompromising. Then the food was old and stale, even unforkable. The young lady was nice and responsive. The elder was not. He wanted yo get more money out of my order instead of pleasing his long-time customer.

Why does this waste of space exist? There is plenty of space for new owners to revamp the space and add a buffet. The sad thing is many people order from here because they don't care about decent Chinese food, they just want fat, sugar, salt, and monosodium glutamate MSG.

This used to be my favorite chinese place. Recently the food is horrible and you spend your time arguing about what u want. The women in there are beyond rude. I had to literally beg for sauce. After begging for 1 soy sauce and 1 duck sauce for my $18 worth of food, she shot a handful of hot mustard under the window and walked off. I really just wanted my money back at that point, but didnt wanna give the other customers more of a show than they already received. I will never go back again.

Never eat here. If you value being valued as a PAYING customer and a clean environment yo eat in, save your time and money. We simply wanted to change one of our meals since my by never had it before and the pork was very chewy. The wife argued with me about how she didn't order the food for me, I did and ignored me and moved on to the next customer. Then to find out I got food poisoning from this place. Worse 1st week in Syracuse, NY.
