Opinions de GILDED CLUB Syracuse
Vibe is great- classy, but not fancy. Fun, but not sloppy. I don’t feel congested inside like some of the downtown bars in Syracuse. The drinks are good, reasonably priced. You don’t need to go up to the bar every time you want a drink, there are servers that round on the tables which is super convenient. Entrance is the best part; it’s fun and has that speakeasy feel to it. Would recommend and definitely come again. Oh by the way, the code is different every week- check out their site to get access or phone a friend. Fun, right?
My husband and I reserved the Gilded Club for our wedding and reception and could not have been happier. The space was large and we were able to rearrange some to accommodate our guests. Staff were incredibly cooperative and checked in often to see what we needed. They also recommended a DJ that was absolutely amazing! I'd give them a hundred stars if I could! We'll definitely be back for a night out.
By far the best bar in Syracuse! Classy, great service, good music & the drink choices are amazing! It’s just a cool atmosphere, everyone must go experience this gem!

I recently threw a surprise birthday party at The Gilded and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Communication was top tier , with it being a surprise the only times I was able to go look at the space and speak with Jasmine ( director of events) was during off hours. She went above and beyond helping me organize from start to finish. The space is clean, well kept , and absolutely beautiful would recommend for bridal showers, engagement parties, or any celebration. They even have a loft available upstairs to rent in addition to the room rental. Couldn’t be more satisfied/happy with my experience. 10/10 hands down.
This place is so cool! The bar is fully stocked and the bartenders are very friendly. On the one hand the Gilded Club gives off a warm and inviting feeling, being Closed off from the rest of Clinton street, while at the same time giving you the feeling of being in a secret private club. The music fit the mood perfectly. Fun upbeat music to keep things lively but not to overwhelming that you couldn’t hold a conversation. The drinks were fairly priced and the bartender who served me, Pedro, mixes a damn good Spicy Mule. All around 10/10, if you haven’t been I’d HIGHLY recommend
John the bartender and Kennedy the manager were awesome. Great drinks, amazing service, gave lots of cool advice for places to visit for the weekend we were visiting. The vibe is low key but classy, it has a good sized crowd but isn't over crowded. Would absolutely recommend this spot for unique custom cocktails (especially their Manhattan if you ask Kennedy). The live music was awesome, cool band called the "Roadhouse Prophets" the night we were there. Hope they keep it rollin, love it here.
My first time visiting The Gilded Club was last night . I was very impressed when I entered the door . I didn’t really know what to expect because I was told it was a speak easy. It was even better ! The ambience was that of a speak easy , the flow was that of a lounge . The music was right I’m the middle of both . The general manager was there that night . The tequila we wanted was sold out but he suggested another and it was even better than what we normally like . The bartender was very friendly and made us feel very Welcomed ! I’m so excited downtown Syracuse has this new gem !!!
Classy, unique and comfortable. Great selections of uniquely thought out drinks plus classics. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back with more people.
I really enjoy this place! So many bars have similar atmospheres and don't put effort into standing out or creating an experience, but Gilded Club is different. A creative cocktail list and friendly staff really sets this place apart. Great place for dates or special occasions. Looking forward to going back!
Since recently moving from Southern California, this is one of the first venues that I actually liked here in Syracuse. The speakeasy ambiance, with low lighting was attractive for groups who were present, and for myself who grabbed a drink alone. The bartender Gabriel was attentive and knowledgeable in the mezcal selections, and he made a delicious "smooth smoke" and "se rie" for me. I went on a saturday night, not sure how the other nights are, but the venue style and bartending service reminded me of my favorite spots back in Los Angeles. I look forward to returning and am interested in seeing the continued growth of Gilded Club.
Gilded is always such a fun time! Pedro is my favorite bartender and he provides the best service and the most delicious drinks. I highly recommend for people who want a good time with great music and people!

Friendly bartenders and a cool concept of the passcode and bank vault door. Had the Girl Next Door which was well made and tasty and they had non alcoholic beer options. Strangely empty on a Thursday night (we were only guests) but otherwise seems like a fun place to spend an evening.
Went there for an amazing art show. Cool place, bar tenders know their business. Great vibe, nice people. But...the floor was so sticky I literally stuck to the floor. To the owner; have your people change the mop bucked every day, your floors are gross.

I wish they would fully commit to the speakeasy experience, but instead it's a speakeasy themed cocktail lounge. The waitress we had lacked basic knowledge of the drink menu which was a turn off. She tried to suggest a couple options but also said of one of the drinks that "most people don't like that one." The drinks themselves were executed fine, but weren't spectacular. The bar is cool and definitely quieter than most and will give it another shot once the service improves.
Really disappointed in my experience last night! I originally went pre-covid as the last stop for my bachelorette party last February and had a great experience. Not so much this year. My husband and I wanted a fun cocktail for our Friday night and I immediately thought of Gilded Club because of the cool speakeasy atmosphere. I love the space, but the drinks were honestly the worst I've ever had. My husband got the Tequila Mockingbird and it tasted like cough syrup. I had the Staycation and something tasted off with the grapefruit juice, although my husband didn't mind it too much. The menus at the table and bar were sticky, which I thought was odd since our table was wiped clean. I wish that I had a better experience as I love a good crafted cocktail, live music and the vibe they are going for!

Paid $100 per ticket for a NYE party at the Gilded Club. Bouncers/security were friendly. Bartenders were attentive, quick, and friendly. Claims to be a speakeasy but it’s literally not??? You just walk into it like a store front. Dj was terrible, stopping the music in the middle of the song and making it silent multiple times for extended periods. It was so weird. Crowd was minimal. Definitely don’t waste your money on special events at this place. Thumbs down!
I’m sorry but this place gives me a vibe that I do NOT like. The bartenders will close my out tab and then they’ll hold on to my card as if they are stealing it from me. I have left there forgetting about my debit card. Almost twice this has happened.
Extremely disappointed, my group of four attempted to go here after a show at the landmark. This is not a speakeasy, the music was horrible, but we decided to put that to the side since we really wanted to try it. After ten minutes of waiting to place a drink/beer order, and being completely ignored by the bar staff, and observing others who got to the bar after us being served, we left not getting any drink nor food and went to another establishment where we were treated excellent. Likely will not be back, very disappointed because we wanted to try this for a long time. I have lived in Syracuse for ten years and this is the first place I have ever walked out of.
Updated Review!!!!!! I originally gave place five stars, but I just went there last Friday, and I had the exact opposite experience, I noticed the kid with the Ear Tattoo, Cory I think was his name, wasn’t there so maybe that’s why no one could make me a good marg. Drinks took too long too and the servers cocktails took even longer. Hopefully that bartender was just on vacation or I can for sure say my time visiting Gilded club is over. Old Review :So I came here about 6 months ago and had a good time but after coming back two Fridays ago it's for sure gonna be a regular spot for me and my friends. Two of my friends told me that there was great bartender there they saw a week or so before & insisted that we had to see if he was there. We walked in and the space is so much cooler then I remembered. We walked to the end of the first bar and Immediately we're greeted by Cory (exactly who they hoped to see) he walked us through the menu and they ordered one espresso martini, and one girl next door. I was unsure but as he made both drinks he asked me what I normally drink, I told him I liked tequila but unsure if I wanted something dry or sweat, and without a second thought he said he had an idea. I'm glad I trusted him. It was phenomenal, it was made with Repasado (epsilon I think) grapefruit juice, a splash of luxardo, egg white shaken and poured into a tall glass over ice but he wasn't done there he used the spoon to some how poured a little blueberry simple, and some blackberry liquor under the first layer. creating a purple to pink ombre with a cloud of white foam on top. I think the best part was the fact that he walked me through why he chose each ingredient ( I had a couple so I don't remember)and it was amazing. I wasn't gonna review Gilded, as I never leave reviews but this place was such a gem. Also I don't know where he came from but he's iconic. The other bartenders seemed to do a great job as well& made the place a fun atmosphere. It got busy at like a 11 and they all seemed to be a great team who enjoyed working together which made it even more fun to watch. Truly was a great experience P.s if u see a guy with an ear tattoo, and don't know what you want, let him decide for you u won't be upset. Well be back to Gilded this Friday for sure
I honestly don’t know where to begin… from rude staff to patrons doing cocaine in the open, this place is an absolute nightmare. However, if you enjoy that sort of thing and paying $15 for weak drinks, this might be the place for you! Just make sure the bartenders find you attractive or otherwise you’ll have to wait 20-30 minutes to be served at the bar. This place is cool in theory, but that’s about it.
