Ambiente raffinato e cibo di primissima qualità. Su tutto il carpaccio di ricciola e gambero viola marinato con agrumi e co dito con salsa di riccio. Sensazionale, unico.
Siamo stati ieri sera a mangiare in questo ristorante. La location è unica ed il servizio impeccabile. Io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di fare la degustazione di 5 pietanze. Dall’inizio alla fine abbiamo provato delle emozioni reali. A partire dall’ antipasto con gamberi e tortino di pesce davvero delizioso; per poi continuare con un polipo su crema di patate che si scioglieva in bocca tanta la morbidezza; poi un primo di ravioli con ripieno di crostacei davvero ben equilibrato ed un secondo di tonno scottato, con contorno di caponatina (unica cosa non eccellente, ma ci sta). Abbiamo terminato con un dolce spettacolare fresco gustoso che ha lasciato stupiti i nostri 5 sensi. Grazie per l’accoglienza (anche nei confronti del nostro cagnolino) grazie per la splendida serata che ricorderemo sempre e grazie alla musica di un cantante di strada che ci ha allietato. Insomma il ristorante Regina Lucia rimarrà il nostro ristorante del cuore 💖 nel quale abbiamo fetsteggiato una serata davvero speciale.
Il Regina Lucia è un ristorante ubicato nella splendida piazza del Duomo di Ortigia e d’estate si può cenare godendo della magnifica vista. All’interno vi è una splendida sala a volte con mattoni di tufo e i tavoli sono ben separati tra di loro . Vi è un menù alla carta che propone piatti di pesce della tradizione siciliana e diverse proposte di menù degustazione. Una eccellente carta dei vini con le migliori proposte dell’isola. Da segnalare la professionalità e la cortesia del personale di sala. Cenare al Regina Lucia ti permette di gustare piatti della cucina siciliana immersi in uno squarcio di cultura barocca .
Sono stato in questo ristorante per il compleanno di mio padre. Abbiamo preso posto fuori con vista piazza del duomo di Ortigia, un panorama incantevole. I piatti sono prelibati e ricchi di sapori con un ampia scelta per quanto riguarda le portate a base di pesce. Il personale è molto gentile ed educato e disponibile ad offrire consigli sulle pietanze prenseti nel menù. Sono stato molto soddisfatto, complimenti!
Poter cenare al ristorante Regina Lucia è stato un regalo meraviglioso tramite un voucher regalatomi per il compleanno. Poter vivere questa esperienza è stato davvero un bellissimo momento ricco di emozioni e gusti sublimi dati dal connubio tra ristorazione e territorio. L'accoglienza attenta e disponibile per ogni esigenza, anche se con poca esperienza, non hanno fatto mancare nulla. Tanti ospiti stranieri e un servizio impeccabile anche con un caldo afoso e torrido con una grande umiltà che ha reso il servizio sicuramente più difficile. I piatti ricercati e eccellenti, perfetti in ogni dettaglio, quantità, temperatura, ricerca di equilibri, note speciali che al palato vengono facilmente riconosciute per dare una lode ad ogni pietanza. Aver visto l'utilizzo del sale Maldon sul pesce è stato davvero una lode. Passione per il proprio lavoro, location e ingredienti di eccellenza sono le caratteristiche di questo meraviglioso ristorante. Congratulazioni.
Posizione invidiabile, in particolare di sera, con le luci tutta la piazza storica viene esaltata. Per quanto riguarda servizio e qualità siamo a livelli medio alti, di pari passo con i prezzi. Non c'è una gran scelta di piatti come quantità ma sicuramente troviamo la qualità. Ottimo l'antipasto millefoglie alla norma di spada così come il branzino alla matalotta in crosta di pistacchio, dimenticandosi di dover evitare le spine lo chef ha fatto tutto per noi. Gnocchi buoni ma sfigurano un po' a confronto delle altre portate. Dulcis in fundo tortino all'arancia con spuma di ricotta una delizia per il palato. Dimenticavo...un flut di vino frizzante ed un gradevole assaggio offerto dallo chef nell'attesa dei piatti ordinati
Siamo stati a cena in questo magnifico ristorante al centro di Ortigia, in piazza Duomo, una sera di Agosto 2020. È stata una scoperta bellissima. Abbiamo cenato praticamente in piazza Duomo, un'atmosfera fantastica, surreale, e per quanto sia una piazza, il ristorante si trova ad un angolo e rende il tutto molto riservato e accogliente. Personale gentilissimo e attento. E che dire del cibo, buonissimo in ogni cosa.
Un bellissimo ristorante, il personale molto attento e gentile. Cibo di qualità, presentato benissimo. Ho potuto portare con Me il Mio cucciolo. Il personale di sala ha subito portato una ciotola con l'acqua per il cane 😍. Consigliatissimo
Un’esperienza unica al ristorante REGINA LUCIA😍 Il Ristorante Regina Lucia è una vera gemma per gli amanti del pesce. Con piatti freschi e deliziosamente preparati, un'atmosfera accogliente e un servizio impeccabile, è il luogo ideale per un'esperienza culinaria indimenticabile.
Il Regina Lucia si trova nella spettacolare Piazza Duomo, a Ortigia. Pranzare (o cenare) seduti ai tavoli di fronte al Duomo illuminato dal sole - o dalle luci di sera- alla Chiesa di Santa Lucia e ai bei palazzi nobiliari che circondano la piazza, é qualcosa di ineguagliabile. All'interno il locale ha il fascino dei soffitti a volta in mattoni a vista, un’architettura che ha sfidato i secoli e, oggi, un arredamento curato nei dettagli, elegante nell’insieme, senza essere pomposo. La cucina di Salvo e Roberta trae ispirazione dal ricordo di ricette tradizionali e dall’uso dei prodotti di eccellenza del territorio, ma si rinnova in una interpretazione moderna, elegante e ricca di sapori. Tra gli ingredienti che li riportano alle loro radici e all’uso che se ne faceva nelle famiglie di un tempo, Salvo e Roberta citano soprattutto quei gamberi viola spesso presenti nelle loro creazioni: “I gamberi viola sono quelli pescati attorno a queste nostre coste e, senza nulla togliere ai famosi gamberi rossi di Mazara del Vallo, li preferiamo allo scopo di privilegiare una cucina ancor più strettamente di prossimità. Li utilizziamo soprattutto a crudo per sottolinearne la straordinaria dolcezza, abbinati nel piatto a pochi altri elementi perché il gusto di materie prime di tale levatura deve essere pienamente percepibile e non coperto da altri sapori. Li condiamo con una salsa leggera al basilico o con il nostro Terraliva, olio tra i migliori in assoluto, ottenuto da Tonda Iblea della zona di Monte Lauro, vicino a Palazzolo: è il territorio che dà carattere alle produzioni e noi ne siamo i consapevoli e orgogliosi ambasciatori”. Ieri sera ho voluto festeggiare il mio anniversario di matrimonio e ho voluto rendere la serata particolare scegliendo questa location. Scelta azzeccata , ottimo ristorante,pulito e raffinato cibo di qualità e molto gustosi. Personale gentile e cortese. I prezzi sono adeguati ed in linea allo standard del posto in cui ti trovi ed il cibo che ti servono.

È da anni che torno da Regina Lucia e, senza esitazione, continuo a considerarlo il miglior ristorante di Siracusa. La qualità della cucina è semplicemente pazzesca, frutto del talento e della sensibilità degli chef Salvo e Roberta, che curano ogni dettaglio con una straordinaria attenzione al cliente. La location è qualcosa che lascia senza parole, sia all’interno che all’esterno, il ristorante si trova in un palazzo storico affacciato su una delle piazze più belle di Ortigia, un contesto elegante e senza tempo che ti coccola dal primo istante. Il cibo è incredibile, sia di carne che di pesce. Ho provato molti piatti nel corso degli anni, tutti capaci di togliere il fiato, ma ho alcuni veri “must” a cui non rinuncio mai, il Polpo arrosto su crema di patata siracusana aromatizzata al limone e menta, semplicemente perfetto, e i Tagliolini di grano Tumminia con ragù di triglie, pinoli, uvetta sultanina e finocchietto, che spesso chiedo nella versione gnocchi, una vera poesia. Il tortino al cioccolato è superlativo, uno di quei dessert che restano impressi. La carta dei vini è incredibile, ampissima, curata, con etichette di tutti i livelli, grandi annate e vini importanti, non solo siciliani. Straordinaria anche la selezione di grappe, Moscati e Marsala, davvero di altissimo livello. Regina Lucia non è solo un ristorante, è un’esperienza completa. Una tappa necessaria se si è a Siracusa, per la location, per la cucina e per l’eccellenza assoluta del servizio.
Un ristorante bellissimo, con un’atmosfera elegante e accogliente. Il menu degustazione è stato eccellente, ricco di sapori equilibrati e piatti curati nei minimi dettagli. Il servizio sempre attento e mai invadente ha reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Ho apprezzato molto anche la sensibilità dimostrata in una piccola circostanza personale, gestita con grande discrezione e professionalità. Un’esperienza da ricordare e da ripetere.
Noi abbiamo cenato al ristorante Regina Lucia per lo scorso cenone di Capodanno 2025/26 , un'ottima cena con menu degustazione vini e sevizio tutto molto professionale . Complimenti a tutta la squadra del ristorante!
We really enjoyed everything we ate! Portions aren’t big and it’s somewhat pricey but it felt very worth it. The setting is also beautiful and the staff were very nice!
We stayed 10 nights in Ortigia and this was our best meal. The location is amazing, right in the Piazza Duomo and we sat outside. Yes it’s on the pricey side but it was worth it. All our food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. As was the wine. A wonderful experience.

I was a “walking-in” during the late night to Regina Lucia restaurant. Strolling through the beautiful square and its cathedral, which by night its at its best, got an incredible table to a mind blowing view for a really memorable dinner. Service was the most welcoming, very helpful to choose greats wines to enjoy the view and suggest few specials dishes to try as we were not hungry enough for a full dinner. Clearly all the dishes were top quality on flavor, presentation, ingredients, but mostly on the plate full setting it offers for a great balance. My favorite was the raviolis, that despite its shelfish filling its prime flavor came from its sauce. I got to say that it’s balanced and elegant. I would say each plate holds a core flavor without it u adding to many kicks as other would do. A litter meal that i really enjoyed.

Very impressive restaurant in a beautiful piazza. Excellent homemade breads offered to start (fennel seed breadsticks are particularly worthy of mention) followed by pumpkin soufflé, spectacular seafood ravioli, veal in a red wine sauce and a superb deconstructed tiramisu. Wine list was extensive and did not disappoint - we chose Sicilian and very much to our palette. Finished off with a lemon amaro. Service was impeccable throughout.
We had a private room with great service and catering for 30 people all of whom had attended a wine tour this week. All dietary requirements were seen to and understood with great high-quality substitutes provided. As free, I always feel I get a poor substitute so I was very very happy with the effort they had provided. The food was exquisite! Highly recommend

Exceptional. We had a dinner for 2 on the terrace. The location and view are stunning. The starters were really tasty (especially the sword fish) and same was for the mains. It ended up being a bit pricey (€200 for 2), but service and food were top notch. Highly recommend.
The restaurant is on the main square of Ortigia and one may think it is a tourist trap BUT it is lightyears away from that. The deco is nice with transparent design chairs and lamps. It is somehow incredible to sit on that historical place next to Caravaggios' painting (opposite of the restaurant) and enjoy place and food. The restaurant offers 5 courses and more menu but we have decided to eat à la carte. We have chosen different primi and secondi to finish with a dolce. As a starter we have had a special prepared egg and gnocchi. Both were extraordinary in taste, texture and quality. For main course we have had tuna fish and a local one. Both were once again prepared and spiced to perfection. The prosecco that we have selected by glass accompanied us through the different meals and was based on the sommelier recommendation well balanced and fitted the menu. Maybe this is a moment to mention the staff which was highly professional, multilingual, working with discretion and kindness. In my eyes they have performed flawless as well as the chef in the kitchen. The hammer was for me the semifreddo al pistacchio, my favourite dessert in Sicily. I take it very regularly but this semifreddo al pistacchio was out of this world delicious, the harmony of pistachio, cream, sweetness, saltyness, mouth melting texture... I can't describe it but it was the best semifreddo I have eaten this year. All in all I do not only recommend Regina Lucia but I can say she is the Regina of the best cuisine of the region 👑 Bravo 👏
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! We were there for lunch and had the tasting menu. I am allergic to gluten and the restaurant had no problem with making gluten-free substitutions on the tasting menu, while my husband had the regular version. Everything was absolutely delicious! And the presentation was even better than the taste.

Would give the food 4.5 if I could. The Root beat pasta was a first time it was good but not outstanding. The Veal was outstanding. Service is where they lost it. We want to take our time and enjoy the atmosphere of being in the Domo Square. We were asked several times if we wanted to place order but delayed ordering. Once we ordered food came at nice pace. After we finished our entree it seemed like they forgot we were there. Took a long time to clear our dinner plates but left bread and other things on table forever. And we had to ask to clear table and for dessert Menu. In summary first half of dining/service was excellent then fell apart. Took forever to even get our check
Service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and inviting. Even the chef was attentive and caring. Choose the tasting menu. I went with the seafood. Food and setting was fantastic. Walking distance from the cathedral. After your meal take a walk around the square and have some gelato if you still have room in your stomach. There’s a gelato spot right across the cathedral.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di cenare in questo ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato la degustazione di cinque portate "Archimede". Premetto da subito che la qualità del cibo è indiscussa, così come la bontà dei piatti. Tuttavia, premetto anche che frequentiamo spesso ristoranti stellati, è che quindi abbiamo ben presente la fascia di prezzo e la relativa innovazione che ogni piatto porta con se. Per fascia di prezzo, Regina Lucia fa parte dei ristoranti e bistrot ad "1 stella", pur non avendola. Il servizio è basico, e non lo valuterò, mi concentro invece sui piatti che, come premesso, erano ottimi; purtroppo erano però per la stragrande maggioranza, piatti che non mi hanno neanche lontanamente stupito per sapore o impiattamento, e che certamente non valgono ciò che il ristorante chiede. Parlo solo di due piatti, usandoli come esempio. A questo riguardo utilizzerò i ravioloni, impiattati alla bene in meglio, con una fortissima componente di burro che copriva il condimento alle erbe, rendendo il piatto, un semplice raviolo al burro con erbette. Peccato perché il ripieno era ottimo. Il dolce, almeno nella degustazione da me provata, ha sottolineato la mancanza di innovazione, con la presentazione di un piatto contenente una varietà di dolci (cremosi, semifreddi, etc..) già visti e sentiti più e più volte. Quindi, di nuovo, ristorante ottimo, con materie prime di qualità, che però fa pagare una cifra da stellato pur essendo molto, molto lontano da quel livello di servizio, sapore, impiattamento ed innovazione che giustificherebbero la cifra pagata (65€ a testa per 5 portate) + 8€ di coperto.
While the food was great, the whole dinner was ruined by the utter incompetence of some of the staff. They neglected us as the restaurant became busier, we were charged more for our dinner (the price online is way different than what you pay there, and their excuse is that they haven’t updated the prices yet - is that even right?) and in general we felt not welcomed. It’s a shame, as I think the chef’s incredible masterpieces are ruined by the way we felt during dinner. I would recommend to go elsewhere, so many better restaurants to eat. My advice to the restaurant is to hire more professional waiters.
Amazingly located and some good food, but room for improvement. If you can sit outside (what I can fully recommend), you’ll have a nice view over the piazza and the duomo - nice and a great location. But that’s also why the restaurant is often frequented by tourists and accordingly quite pricey. Unfortunately, not all dishes are worth their price. The Millefoglie di Pesce Spada alla Norma (swordfish) was really good, the pasta was good too. The secondi sea bass patty (Branzino con patate schiacciate alla matalotta in crosta di pistacchio) and the tuna (Tonno leggermente scottato con Caponata mandorle e pistacchio) were rather average and already a bit cold when served. The chefs could have made more out of the high quality ingredients. Also the espresso was a bit disappointing, quite thin - very untypical for an Italian-style coffee. Service was also rather okay-ish. Once we had ordered, we were ignored and had to put a lot of effort into getting the attention of the staff. All in all: food is okay, but the atmosphere doesn’t justify the high prices.
Nice restaurant in piazza Duomo. The food was good. I had gnocchi with seafood ragu and it was very good, so was the wine reco, a frappato vinified in white. The one thing that could be improved is the service. It was a bit cold, no one ever asked at any point how my meal was going. I had a table in the corner outside and it seems like it was forgotten. Also, when the bill arrived on my table there was nowhere to put it as my empty desserts plates had not been removed before.
One of the finest Italian place in town, or at least we are told so by our 5 star hotel concierge and a few other guides. We had a lunch here out in the front terrace and convinced ourselves that we are paying for the location. Food was ok but not “omg this is amazing”, as Japanese I was a bit shocked by quality of tuna and how it is cut and served (I guess it’s probably authentic local way but remember Italian never quite does tuna to perfection.) anyway, expensive lunch but staff were nice in Italian posh restaurant way and we had a view we paid for. So no complain.

Friendly welcome. Winelist ok. Bread as usual, no olive oil (just for locals?). Ordered two Archimede-Menues, € 65,- each plus a bottle “Planeta Cometa”. Amuse-Gueule: expendable. 1st course: Octopus, well cooked but tasteless. 2nd course: shellfish-ravioli, very nice. 3rd course: taglioline with artichoke and shrimp, noodles to soft, shrimp mealy, boring. 4th course: gnocchi con aragostra (lobster, very, very little) ... . 5th course: tuna and ratatouille, well cooked and tasty. 6th course: Dessert, some kind of sorbet ...salty. Mi wife said: „funny“ and didn’t finish it (me neither). 7th course: more dessert-variations.... Summary: don’t order a menue - not a signature of this restaurant. Endeavoring service. Locals receive obviously preferred treatment compared to „other guests“ - shameful. We served ourselves with wine and water. The food was not delivering the promises of the location which was very nice and on one of the best spots of the town.
