Fleming's Steakhouse - Tampa Flagship

We’ve been to Fleming’s several times, and the food is always good. Today, I want to give an honorable mention to our server, MJ, she was fantastic! She made great suggestions, was attentive, and had such a personable, welcoming attitude that really elevated our experience. When we come back, we’ll definitely be asking for her again. Sharing photos of our appetizer and dessert (both amazing!) we were too busy enjoying our entrees to remember to take pictures!

This place is beautiful. They offer a very comprehensive menu. Reservations recommended. We sat at the bar as we didn't have reservations. Service was a bit slow. It took 2 hours to get our dinner but it was very full. They have valet parking available on site. They also have a private room.

I’ve been going to Fleming’s in Tampa for over 20 years. Even though I had grown attached to the old restaurant, the new one was spectacular. We attended the new restaurant tonight with my parents for my birthday. Everything from beginning to end was outstanding. The food was perfect and our server Megan was a true gem. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion, especially a memorable one. We enjoyed our experience so much, we are returning for Valentine’s Day.

A bit delayed in writing this, but we had an excellent time celebrating my birthday here back in October. Diana was our server and she was fantastic! The service throughout the night was top notch, and the meal was excellent. It was a really nice touch to receive a picture and be acknowledged by the staff. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

We came here for the very first time on my birthday. From the moment we stepped in the door I was greeted with a warm smile and a Happy Birthday wish. We sat at our table and were gifted glasses of champagne to cheers to my birthday. Our server Jerome was the epitome of first class service. He knew the menu to a “T”! Jerome came and took a picture for my birthday and just continued with excellent service all night! The food was nothing short of AMAZING. Had a great experience at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. The steak was excellent, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding service we received tonight. Although we’ve dined here several times before, this visit truly stood out thanks to Steffy and the manager, Sam. Steffy was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, she took the time to guide us through the menu and helped us choose our dishes with such care. She even recommended the gnocchi side, and she was absolutely right,it was delicious. Unfortunately, we experienced a small inconvenience during our visit, and that’s when Sam stepped in. What an incredible manager. Kind, professional, and fully committed to her role. She not only resolved the situation promptly but truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. We are locals and come here often, but after tonight, Fleming’s—and especially these two wonderful ladies—have officially become our favorite place. Exceptional service like this makes all the difference.

We spent our anniversary here tonight and our server Kate was phenomenal and so very helpful in any questions we had! It was our first time trying Fleming’s and will certainly return. Everything we tried was absolutely terrific, especially the sides!! Fleming made our anniversary special, 10/10 recommend.

Plopped down at the bar in a t-shirt at 9pm and Angela treated like royalty! She recommended the Chilean sea bass and I added a petit filet mignon, medium-rare because it looked DELICIOUS. Both were perfectly prepared and the side butter additions were an excellent addition. The saxophone Brother sounded great! Whether you're looking for a date night, business lunch or "solo-dolo" at the bar, this is the place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

How does anyone not love this restaurant? The food was absolutely delicious...freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and he chose Fleming's as his restaurant of choice. My husband had a steak and I had the sea bass. His steak was perfectly medium and my sea bass was flaky and tasty. The atmosphere was very elegant and intimate, and the service was stellar!!! Our waiter and management checked in frequently to ensure we were having a great experience. I can't wait to visit again. Because of the exceptionalism of our experience, we will frequent this restaurant and recommend it to our family and friends.

Had a wonderful dining experience with Kate & Austin! Between the delicious meal and the ambiance with the live music I fully enjoyed my evening. We will definitely be back - they did a wonderful job on the renovation too!

We had dinner at Fleming’s Steakhouse and the food was absolutely fantastic — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and worth every bite. But what truly made the night unforgettable was our server, Chris. He went above and beyond from start to finish. His timing, attention, and personality took the entire experience to another level. Chris didn’t just serve our meal; he elevated the whole evening. If you’re planning a visit, ask for him — you won’t be disappointed.

First time at this location celebrating a family member’s birthday. Wyatt was our server and he was very attentive. He was so nice to us too! We wanted to take a picture and we didn’t even have to ask him, he took one with his phone and brought a printed on with a cute frame and all!! We loooooved everything we ordered, we almost ordered everything on the menu!!! And not one item was less than amazing!! But my favorite was the tenderness of the lobster tail and how fresh the oysters were. Thai green beans are A MUST! Also, The lady that was singing deserves to be famous! Omg! What a beautiful voice! The place is nice, not loud. Good for a romantic dinner or family get together. Will definitely recommend this location to anyone I know! We had a lovely experience!!!

They do it & they do it well. My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. It was wonderful. From the moment we walked in, several hostesses congratulated us. Our table had a rose and card on it. Mark, our server was perfect. Very personable, professional but didn't make you feel out of place in such a fancy establishment. Adam, a member of the waitstaff was also wonderful throughout our dinner and wrapped our left overs. Management checked in on us and the food was incredible, bread, ceaser salad, steak, Flemings potatoes, asparagus, lava cake and treated with a little box of chocolates and a champagne toast. They really made our night special, this was our first night out together since having a baby and celebrating our anniversary. Highly recommend this location. It's absolutely worth the cost when you're treated well and everything is delicious.

By far the fanciest place I have ever been to. A gift card lead the way here, to be honest. Definitely high-end dining with matching prices. With this said, you get what you pay for. Excellent food with exceptional service. Becky was very personable and attentive. For me personally, it is likely a once in a lifetime dining experience, but if you have the $$$$ to spare, you will not be disappointed!!!

Family Thanksgiving enjoyed all the dishes. Greene beans with apricots amazing. Beautiful carved white Or Dark turkey. Just a blessed day at Flemings. Dessert yum.

Wow everything was absolutely stunning. The restaurant itself is beautiful and so elegant. The staff was amazing and super friendly. They went above and beyond to make my boyfriend’s birthday amazing. The food was delicious! 100% recommend!

I personally loved everything. I love a great solo date where I get to be immersed with my environment. From the moment I walked in, the hostess was nice as I decided I wanted to sit at the bar. My bartenders were lovely. The food the music, the wine. It's for sure a great place for date nights and amazing food. My steak was juicy and my gnocchi was mouth watering.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first ever dining experience at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. Celebrated my birthday with my wife and son, and we all agree that our table service professionally provided by Katherine S. was absolutely phenomenal..!!! Katherine is so attentive to your needs, very knowledgeable, very personable and her passion and dedication for her position clearly exudes in her interactions with her customers. Excellent, Excellent job Katherine..!!! Onto the ordered food...we enjoyed the main filets and the rack of lamb as our main entrees along with the Flemings potatoes and corn brulee as our shareable sides. The main filets absolutely melt in your mouth, so delicious. The rack of lamb is so flavorful and of very generous proportion size. The Flemings potatoes and corn brulee were a perfect accompanying additions to the main entrees. We finished the night with a slice of cheesecake and a slice of carrot cake. I must say as an avid connisuer of carrot cake, the carrot cake at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse was by far the best I have ever had...!!! Thank You Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Thank You Katherine S. for making my birthday celebration dinner experience absolutely perfect..!!!

I had a delightful experience dining at Fleming's for Father's Day. They had a separate menu consisting of 3-course meals and it did not disappoint. I had the house salad, lobster soup as an additional side dish, filet mignon with crab-stuffed shrimps, and cheesecake. I also had The Butterfly Effect, a delicious cocktail that I would love to try again. Our server was April, she was extremely attentive, caring, and so nice! They also have sourdough bread, definitely the best bread I've had at any restaurant, and the spreads were fantastic. For 3 people, the bill was around $400 in case you want a better idea of the pricing. I would definitely come back.

Great place! Beautiful space, elegant. Food was amazing. Got the burrata and prosciutto for starters and cabernet filet with mushrooms soup. Both delicious.

What a wonderful anniversary dinner. The staff was great. Jerome, our waiter, was absolutely the best! He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations. My husband's filet came out perfectly cooked, and my rack of lamb was delicious! They put a placard on our table that said happy anniversary, took a picture in a Momento frame, gave us complimentary prosecco to start, and actually gave us complimentary truffles at the end of the meal to make our dinner experience over the top! Well worth the price!

Flemings is always a nice treat for myself around my birthday. It was the place I chose for my celebration dinner when I moved to Florida in 2021 to start a new chapter of my life. Amy, at the Tampa Flemings, provided outstanding service with a mix of professionalism and courtesy. I will definitely ask for her on my next visit. I recommend anyone reading this review do the same!

We chose Fleming’s for a birthday dinner. Jerome did an amazing job. We were going to have filets, but Jerome suggested the bone in ribeye, we both went on his suggestion and couldn’t be happier. The food and drinks were perfect. And the birthday truffles were an added bonus.

The food was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Our waiter, Mark, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. He made sure we had everything we needed and really elevated the entire experience.

Still the best beef Caroaccio in Tampa. The oysters plate is nice. The delmonico is 16 oz and legit. Beef Short is flavorful and the sides are plentiful. Bring some style with you when u come to eat here. Fleming’s is worth it. One snafu…we had an OPEN TABLE reservation at 5:30pm, we arrived promptly. Two couples that arrived later and introduced themselves the same way were seated before us. Otherwise a great meal and experience. Brittany our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive.

My husband and I travel in our RV, and we have dined at various Flemings locations across the country because we know we will be guaranteed outstanding food and service. This was our first time at the Tampa location, and we were blown away. The restaurant is gorgeous, with high ceilings, a beautiful entryway, a wine bar and seating that feels intimate. Sean greeted us and showed us to our table. As we were following him, I turned to my husband and said that I should have mentioned that it was my birthday on the reservation as it was earlier this week. Sean overheard and brought table decorations and a birthday placard to our table, much to my surprise and delight. Our server, Dave, arrived with 2 champagne glasses for us. He informed us that this location was a flagship, with special menu items. We ordered several of them, including the lamb with mint chimichurri and gorgonzola gnocchi, along with the usual filet. Everything was delicious! Dave was charming, knowledgeable and attentive-- the perfect fine dining server! As we left, Sean again wished me a Happy Birthday. The whole experience was so delightful and memorable.

Chip (Our Server) and the entire team were fantastic. From making great recommendations to serving with care this was a fine establishment. The French Onion Milkbread, Thai Green Beans (really a unique and delicious surprise of a dish) were both fantastic as was the Chipotle Mac and Cheese. The Tomahawk steak was absolutely cooked to perfection. Flemings really showed they are a great spot and I highly recommend!

Been to a few steakhouses all over the country, but this one was extremely memorable. Vicky the manager that helped me make my reservation over the phone made it very simple. Mike the server was amazing as well as his serving partner, Andre. It was mine and my partner's first time there and we were celebrating my new job. They made it very special with a decorated table and free champagne. The entire operation was a well-oiled machine. It was a joy to watch while eating, being that I used to run restaurants. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely remarkable. We ordered the french onion milk bread, the beef carpaccio, and the burata and proscuitto for appetizers. For our meals we ordered the filet mignon and delmonico cut with the bacon brussels sprouts and the Fleming's potatoes au gratin. From the outside to the inside the atmosphere was breathtaking. The live music had some very generic karaoke song choices, but it was tasteful as the female singer knew exactly how to control her voice for the space. Overall it was truthfully one of the best dining experiences we have ever experienced in our 11 years together.

As always, the staff was on point, friendly and respectable. props to the kitchen staff as our steaks were done exactly how we ordered them. The crabcakes were decent not the best but you can’t get everything right can you? Yet another great experience at Flemings. Thanks to Gorge and his staff.

To start, the building is brand new, and the atmosphere and ambiance are simply stunning. The open floor plan design, bar area, and outside fire tower and rock formation add a touch of coolness to the experience. Our waitress, Brittany, was incredibly attentive and ensured that our glasses were never empty and that our food was always of good quality. We started with onion rings, which were delicious. Three of us ordered fillet mignon, while one opted for salmon. The salmon was a great choice for those who don’t prefer steak. As for the filets, the flavor was on point, but the cook quality was a bit disappointing. I ordered medium-rare, and another ordered medium, but both were overcooked. The third filet had a temperature stick still embedded in the steak, but Brittany noticed it immediately and sent it back. The manager then came over to the table and made things right. While I expect excellent service when spending this kind of money, it was a pleasant surprise to see that the manager took care of the issue. It was my dad’s birthday, and the overall experience, from the wine to the complementary birthday chocolate truffles, made it a memorable occasion. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 4.5 out of 5. The only real issue was the slightly overcooked steaks.

The restaurant is upscale and beautiful, the waitress never brings the wine that my husband ordered. So my husband ask again. Food is good but overpriced.

I love a good steakhouse and this was the only one I hadn’t tried yet, especially after hearing great things. - Brussels sprouts were soggy with a weird vinaigrette flavor - definite skip. The $19 French onion soup was just… fine. Not bad, just not worth the price. - Bone-in ribeye was cooked well but nothing memorable. Got the Gorgonzola cream which was watered down and tasteless. - The au gratin potatoes were total mush with no flavor, which was disappointing. - Atmosphere felt very chain-like and not standout. Service was okay - our main server lacked personality, but his backup helped. Overall, I really wanted to love it, but it didn’t live up to the hype for me.
