I found the place pleasant, although it looks more like a bar, it's quite nice. The food portions are good, and they sell large mugs. However, I ordered shrimp broth, and the shrimp tasted like they were frozen several days old. It could be a good option if you're in the area.

The broth was very watery, with very little shrimp, bland and tasteless. I didn't mention it; I felt bad. I thought about telling her that the broth should be slightly thick and flavorful, but it was like watery coda soup. I had to add a lot of lemon, hot sauce, and Maggi seasoning to make it palatable. I didn't get to try the food because I went for the Thursday special. We arrived at 3:45 and they were already sold out; it wasn't until 4:00, which was really short a time. Besides, it took them ages to give us a menu or even serve us; I had to speak to a waitress. I hope next time I have a better experience and can try the dishes. The place is small, there aren't many tables, and you have to wait outside for them to become available.

I expected more from this place. They practically told me, "I don't have it, I don't have it, I don't have it..." because the chef wasn't there. To top it off, they made the tip, already included in the bill, mandatory. It's illegal to force a 20% tip, especially considering the terrible service and the food. It was supposed to be fried, but everything was raw. I expected better. They say it's different when the owner is there, but when he's not, the whole place is disgusting. What a shame.

I've visited them several times, and I like the service and especially the seasoning. I've often been left wanting to try something because they're out of it, or I go too early or too late. But today they really let me down. I couldn't get the octopus tostada because they said they were out of stock, and they didn't have the aguachile either, but they ended up making me one, which they shouldn't have given me at all, since it wasn't aguachile at all. And then the manager came over, very arrogant, and left me talking to myself. Terrible service today!
