The chicken is beyond excellent, as are the sauces. The prices are very affordable. The place is very quiet, perfect for a peaceful meal with the whole family. Perhaps the place could benefit from a remodel and some advertising to attract more people. Simply delicious.

The chicken was good quality, cooked thoroughly without being burnt on the outside, flavorful, and a good amount for the price. The facilities were spotless, and the staff was friendly. But what I liked most were the freshly made tortillas and the salsas. Highly recommended.

Good place to eat. Not much variety on the menu, but what's there is excellent. Good parking. The place is comfortable and ideal for family outings. Air-conditioned, with clean bathrooms and friendly service. A suggestion: They could put up a shade cloth in the parking lot so the cars don't get too hot. Otherwise, it's very good.

Kokos Nopales

I used to go here a lot as a kid, with the handmade tortillas they sold on the side, I think, but these days it leaves a lot to be desired. The service isn't that bad, but the place is somewhat abandoned, and the chicken really isn't very good. It leaves a lot to be desired. It ended up being more out of nostalgia and it ended up being a terrible chile.

Very similar to Pollo Loco but this one is drier. The complete ones you serve yourself whatever you want. I really liked the pineapple. If you're on a budget, Pollo Loco has fewer toppings, but Pollo Loco is juicy and if you're poor, well, I recommend it.

It's delicious and reasonably priced... But they don't cater to people with disabilities. (Small bathrooms, no ramps, and they don't help them get into the restaurant.)

The food is excellent, but they don't offer special offers when serving you, allowing you to make an informed choice about your purchase and experience. That's the advantage of any food store.

During the pandemic, they don't wear masks. They say they use them in the kitchen but not when delivering items, which doesn't make sense. Why is mask use mandatory for customers but not for employees? If you want to take the risk, go ahead. Plus, they don't take temperatures or provide hand sanitizer upon entry.

The chicken is delicious, but the downtown Tampico branch has no health measures in place due to the pandemic. The entire staff doesn't wear masks, starting with the cashier and, worst of all, the people in the kitchen. It doesn't inspire confidence to buy their product.
