We went twice and both times the food was delicious. The ingredients are very high quality. The service makes you enjoy the already amazing food even more. The tamale was incredibly fluffy and the mole was very tasty. The hibiscus and guava agua fresca was also very good. The tlayudas and tortilla soup were great too. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant is fabulous!! I loved it..Martin the owner is great and treats you, like if you were at his home. Services more than perfect ! The food exquisit, delicious theOaxaca flavour and taste was every where!!. and it is not expensive... Ok .. let me explain this $$$...if you go to a nice restaurant/ gourmet in Guadalajara you would spend 1000 pesos or more for 3 people. here we spent 580 pesos including 70 pesos tip. And the dishes/plates talking about the portions they are well served. Congrats to Martin and his staff ! Martin you made us feel like at home. Ps. we bought 2 ... 1/2 kilo of Mole - 1 black and 1 with almonds to take back home and... my gosh they are..hilarious.!! Ps 2 .. the salsas(sauces) what can I say.. they are all delicious even the spicy ones, and I don't eat lots of spicy(hot) food. !!

Nice and cozy place to try food from Oaxaca, Mexico. This place was suggested by a friend. Every dish we tried was flavorful and delicious. The service was fast and the people who cook the food was very nice and humble. If you visit Tapalpa this is the must try place.

A friend took me to this place as she got recommended by a friend! For the first time I didn't check my map and see the reviews, I trusted her judgement, or maybe, I was just too lazy! We sat outside; a young girl approached us, not so friendly! First impression, bad! Anyway, we were three and I ahs to respect the other two and not leave the place! We ordered chilaquiles rojo and enfrijoladas! While we were waiting for the food, they brought us 3 salsas! Given that I am always critics of salsas started tasting them! Oh my goodness! Is this place real?! Is this salsa real?! Mind blowing! Simple yet extremely tasty. The chilaquiles was not so good, to be honest; maybe we expected a typical chilaquiles rojo, which it was far from it. But enfrijoladas y enmoladas; they were great! The chef later on checked on us and he was so friendly. Definitely recommended place.

Amazing food and service. Quieter than other places in the main plaza. Some of the best enmoladas that I have eaten and reasonably priced! Service is great and the chef was very friendly. I would highly recommend eating here!
