UPDATE: Since my first review, we have been eating here a lot...we still love it! We've tried most everything on the menu and have liked it all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ORIGINAL REVIEW: The CLEANEST fast food restaurant I have ever been in!! Seriously, I think you could eat off the floors here! 😂 We ordered the kids cheeseburger meal and the 2 piece chicken meal. Both were really good 👍🏼 the staff was nice. They did close 30 min early, but it's winter time, so maybe they know that they won't get many customers? Not sure about that, but otherwise, we will definitely be coming back! Bonus: they make their ranch dressing fresh, so it is yuuummmyyy😋😋

While this historic cafe is not much to look at on the outside, it is truly a GEM in the rough on the inside. We stopped by around 3:30 pm not realizing it had closed at 3:00 pm. The staff was so nice and accomodated us by cooking up some great enchiladas! If you enjoy eateries with big back stories and love to eat great food, this is a must when traveling through Tehachapi! It is located near the National Chavez Center.

While this historic cafe is not much to look at on the outside, it is truly a GEM in the rough on the inside. We stopped by around 3:30 pm not realizing it had closed at 3:00 pm. The staff was so nice and accomodated us by cooking up some great enchiladas! If you enjoy eateries with big back stories and love to eat great food, this is a must when traveling through Tehachapi! It is located near the National Chavez Center.

The pastrami sandwich was delicious and the coffee milkshake was awesome. I was surprised how crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the fried zucchini was, and so flavorful! It was a pleasant surprise. The employees were delightful to talk to. I'm going back as soon as I get a chance.

I visited Frosty King to get some ice cream I had been craving for awhile and Frosty King did not disappoint. I ordered their "small" Caramel Sundae which cost about $3 and it was delicious and much better than any other "fast food" ice cream I have ever had (Such as Wendy's or McDonalds). If you crave a good sundae, Frosty King is the place to go. Their chicken strips are also amazing!

Extra crispy and extra seasoned salt french fries are our favorite fries. The pastrami is great and big enough to share if cut in half. Their ice cream is quite tasty too! We've had and will have again because they're good: Burgers, taquitos, fried burritos, zucchini, french fries, pastrami and chicken strips. The only downside is the price for extra condiments.

The prices here are a bit high, but they have the best chicken tenders and soft serve ice cream in town. Despite the prices I find myself going back time and time again. If you aren't short in your budget and you're looking for a tasty treat, this is the place to go

Always great customer service. It's a popular stopping place so it can get kind of busy. But overall, they have great burgers, salads, burritos, and sandwiches here. Definitely worth the wait.

This place offers great freshly made American food. I love the chicken avocado sandwich! The ice cream concoctions are all amazing! The service can be a little slow, but everything is made to order so that's to be expected. It's also a little pricey, but I think it's worth it when you want a step up from fast food but the convenience of a drive through.

Tasty food that really hit the spot. Classic American fast food burger spot. If you’re looking at online menus be aware that their prices have gone up. Still pretty good, just not as great of a value (we spent $40 for a family of five, not counting dessert). The ice cream really shines through, especially the huge shakes and malts.

Don't usually eat inside. Like to take our food home.

I would have given it a 5 stars except they are pretty pricey for fast food. They have killer malts. You just can't find malts any more and they are wonderful here. Also, they are quite fast getting your order out. Ill keep returning.

Service was decent. Polite and friendly. Burgers are very tasty! Ive eaten there a few times and it's a party for my taste buds! Two issues... Please try to keep the food hot. Twice while eating there the burgers and fries were warm at best. And we were freezing in the restaurant last time. It seemed like the thermostat was at 55. It would be 5 stars otherwise.

Fried zucchini and onion rings were pretty mediocre, but at least they were nice and hot. A++ on the wings and the extra change for ranch is definitely worth it; super creamy and a good amount. DO NOT eat the chili, it was probably the worst tasting, greasiest goop we've ever tried. Overall, a bit pricey, but nice and filling if you try the right things.

'Just passing through. 'Stopped to order a shake. Google sayz they close at 9:30. Of course, it is 9p.m. and the lights shut off after Google gives bad directions, and likely locals exhibiting aggressive/stalking type driving behaviour. I guess I can say at least there is quite a bit of evidence of digital disrespect towards those who have been without for so long, and this activity is not isolated. You're not getting a product or physical service review from me, you are getting a digital service and productivity review. And, it's negative,

My unsweetened iced tea was weak. All the straws had holes in them and I had to pay extra for a cup of ice. I would give it another shot because of the drive through. Food is OK at best, but every time I go there, I am charged a different price for the same items. Sometimes it is 9.95 others its 10.05, 10.10, 10.20, or 10.25. I have been keeping a record of how much I payed for my pastrami sandwiches ever since they forced me to not only buy, but take a soda I did not want to get a better deal. Which was rather amusing. I had to argue with the person at the drive though, trying to tell him that I did not want the soda. He would not let me save a few cents by ordering the meal and just not giving me the soda. I told him that if he makes me take the soda, I would just immediately throw it away and that I just wanted to save a few cents on my order. He asked me, "what flavor do you want?" So I took the soda and threw it away. Why he needed me to have the soda, I will never know.

Food is good, but it's ridiculous that they charge $1 for a little side of ranch or chili peppers, even after you already spend $29 on food. The staff is never friendly when I go, this is a last resort food stop when I don't want to drive all the way into town. Hopefully the change some of there business policies.

They messed up the order. But then made it right by replacing the entire order and adding extra food and letting us keep the messed up food. The drive thru girl was obviously not too smart but the manager guy was very accommodating. The food was good.

I gave this place three stars for the very nice and clean condition and the excellent counter service. I have no idea where they have the nerve to put a sign out that says world famous pastrami? Three stars would be a genuine overrating of the actual sandwich. The pastrami was dry and flavorless. The sandwich was about the size of a 6 inch Subway sub and served with french fries it was $16. I could have lived with the price if the quality was commensurate. If you want great pastrami go to Smart and Final in Quartz Hill in Lancaster and buy New York Style Deli Pastrami in the 2 lb package. Then go to the Vons and buy a loaf of their fresh Italian bread from the bakery. You will then have two huge 1 lb sandwiches for about 20 bucks. And the quality would be worthy of World Famous. You won't be disappointed.

I love the malts here so much, but we got two large malts tonight and it cost $26.00! What?! Seriously?

Ok. I don't get the hype here folks. I've never ordered something I actually would go back for. Well, the corn dog I ordered the other day was pretty good. However, even after asking for mustard with the order and at the window. I drove away to open my bag down the road and what do you know. No mustard. Who can eat a corn dog without mustard?! I certainly can't. Or don't want to anyway. Other than that it was a pretty delicious dog and a gigantic root beer float. I can't give it four stars yet but am willing to try again to see if I can maybe up it a star next time.

First time here ever, last time too! I ordered 2 corn dogs got 1 free and large fries. Corn dogs were perfect, fries on the other hand were disgusting! They were hard like eating a half baked, baked potato. 2 stars for the fries and for the price I paid! Corn dogs cost almost $2.50 per and large fries were at least $4.00 ended up paying close to $9 for that junk. Gas Station food is way better.

Fast and good food. However, I get to the menu on the drive-through and the girl says “go ahead” not even hi or welcome. After I said that’s all she says “ok” without the total or anything. I work in fast food and I can tell you if I acted like that I would be fired immediately. I think she should be too.

Pastrami sandwich is good, above average in taste for sure, but it's ridiculously expensive. $10 for what should maybe at most be a $5 sandwich simply because of how tiny it is, everything else on the menu seems to be overpriced as well. Very disappointed in how little food the sandwich was, don't think I would go back again.

Food was ok... prices have gone up. And EXTREMELY stingy with their soft drinks! They fill your cups up with ice then press it down so you get no soft drink in there... and only allowed one free refill. For the amount you charge you should be giving a continuous IV in the arm of pop. Haven't gone in a long time and now won't be going back at all. Pretty sad too because i liked their burgers.

Gave specific instructions on three food items and he got all three wrong and ended up paying for a combo meal we didn't order. Check the bill before you pay!!!! Never ever going there again. Too bad cause the burger would have been good had he done what we asked.

I ordered a triple colossus cheese burger and ended up getting a single and was charged $24 for the burger and chili fries horrible service. Too bad I was home already. Make sure you check your order.

I was very disappointed the fish was terrible it was not real fish it was something you buy in the frozen section of the grocery store and the fries soggy and I asked for well done fries waste of my money and others have complained about the wait that would be ok if the food was better they do make it fresh to order

It is one of our most favorite spots as a family to stop and dine and get away from the hustle and bustle of making food at home. It is within the last six months than a new employee, Angela has began working and singled me out through the drive-through several times . This last time through the drive-through she was very nice. However, I noticed my pink lemonade Was a little watered down, so I turned back to see if I could have it refilled. I stopped and parked the car , And when I went inside, there were about seven people in front of me, but she looked right at me and said can I help you with an aggressive attitude as I was holding my three-year-old child. I said yes please I’m sorry I was just in the drive-through. I wanted to know if I can get a refill on my pink lemonade. It is watered down and I wanted to know what the price was with tax on my meal. She went to the back to wash out my cup in the dirty bathroom instead of giving me a refill so I asked her co worker to refill my cup so I could leave with my daughter. After me waiting at the counter for 5 minutes. An off-duty cop as well as seven other people were in there, and I while I was waiting and observed the entire thing. She approached her associate and asked her what she was doing with the lemonade that for me and she said yes it was. She said oh I was just in the back getting her a new one ;when the lemonade machine was in the front my heart sink, knowing that she was in the dirty bathroom washing out my cup. Barf ! I proceeded to say thank you to the gal that got me my new lemonade and left and said merry Christmas and nothing more. I decided to give the store a call and asked to speak to the store manager and owner and she refused to give me their telephone number, and or name however; Angela proceeded to call me back and harass me on my personal phone number several times . I will still continue to go to Frosty King however, the harassment needs to stop by Miss Angela. I hope I make myself clear and addressing the issue if it’s just me; I don’t know a single sou in this town. Kindness is free and I’m kind of everyone unless ;I need to have a strong boundary with you ! Or Anyone it is what healthy people do. I will continue to monitor this if Angela continues to harass me as she was not needed to call me back because the conversation was not for her I will report her to Pd.
