This Subway always has good sandwiches, and delivery and their pretty fast too. My last order was delivered like in 15 minutes from placing the order, and for up here in Tehachapi that's pretty good! Lol
We got into Tehachapi late after being on the road all day. Daniel was so friendly and made the best sandwiches!! Some of the best subway sandwiches we’ve had in a while!
Fantastic place! The remodel gave a fresh new look. The atmosphere was clam and peaceful. What is most impressive is the all Male employees that served my girls and I. Service was pleasant. We ordered 3 sandwiches Oven Bake Chicken, Meatball and Black Forest ham. Thanks guys!
This is by far our preferred subway in our town. The service is amazing, the quality of food is superb and they always make sure we leave satisfied. Our experience with the manager is awesome and he has a friendly crew. A+ in my eyes!
Came in around 5pm and 3 workers were there ready to go. I had a large order and they were still nice and thorough even though the line was building up. Area looked clean and everything was well stocked.

Staff is great. Sandwiches normally made evenly with toppings on one end to the other. Service when you walk in is always with a friendly greeting and a welcoming good bye wanting to see your friendly face again soon.
Gaby is the woman who helped me and she was so friendly and got my order right. Such a sweet girl, she even offered me cookies for my kids (and I have 5 boys). Such a pleasant experience.

Most people don't know the hidden gem that is Subway breakfast subs. I make mine with egg, bacon, pepperjack, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, jalapenos and southwest sauce. Friendly employees and quick in and out early in the morning.
This place is busy for lunch. Order ahead from the app and pickup if possible. The bread was very fresh, ingredients plentiful but not overdone. Good job!
If you want a good sub sandwich, come here, they offer if you want to make your own custom sandwich or one off the menu, they also have soup! If you want a good sub, then order this custom sub i made up- 9-grain weet bread then tuna heated up then tomato olives lettuces and avocado!
I wouldn't be able to give a unbiased review simply due to the fact that I work here. I will say this, I'm very proud to call this store mine and I hope everyone has a great and wonderful experience each and every visit!
First visit here. It is located inside building with Loves and McDonalds. Ample parking with handicap parking and access. Clean, neat and organized interior with indoor seating. Restrooms are available. Kirk our server was excellent, very friendly, patient and courteous. We ordered customed made sandwich. Kirk let us take our time to choose the ingredients. Our custom roasted chicken sub with muitigrain bread was delicious. Their standard menu selections looked good too. We will definitely return.
Delicious as always, they are very fast at this location in tehachapi and I usually call in advance for faster service so I can just pick it up when I get there, it is very clean and very affordable

The facility is pretty much always clean. The employees are pleasant. The food is good. The ingredients are fresh. I do wish they would get garlic bread and barbecue sauce back, but that's not within their control. Overall it's a pretty good place to eat.

As with Subways, it's slow to have your sandwich made. The process is also slightly confusing as you switch from the first part to the next. While the workers are nice at our local place, the place usually runs out of meatballs. The workers do, however, put different amounts of each thing differently, so be sure to check.
2 meats up charged me a $1.50 ×2, then baloney upcharged me $3. then yet another upcharge for something else and nobody warned me. Came out too very expensive over $20. Foot long sandwich surprise. Also ran out of chocolate chip cookies to boot.
I ordered two subs using the Subway app for lunch. It was convenient that this location does curbside pickup. Once I returned home I realized they made both of the subs wrong. It's super disappointing to spend over $20 and have your entire order be incorrect.

Go to the one in wal mart. Clearly under trained, and doesnt care about how they wrap the food, every sandwich had different amounts of meat instead of a standard amount on each. The owner sent the good employeees to the walmart location.
I have a love/hate relationship with this subway. I love the staff, but hate the way management runs things. They're out of something every single time we go in. I dont like posting reviews on a single bad experience, but this is too often. They are out of this bread or that bread, out of guacamole, and out of chocolate chip cookies literally every Friday night. Youd think if you know you're selling out of something consistently that you'd increase how much you prep. But if you dont want chocolate chip cookies, are okay with going with a second or third choice of bread, and dont mind not being able to get what you want on your sandwich because they're sold out of whatever, then by all means. They're getting a second star only because the staff is friendly and are always helpful as they can be.

But that’s not the only problem, she literally sprinkles every topping like she’s trying to conserve fairy dust or something. My husband always pays for double protein for his chicken and every time she makes it, it turns out to be one serving. You can easily tell the difference when the chicken on a subway sw is double protein, never been a problem when anyone else makes it, and she NEVER puts it. At this point I’m just so annoyed. Every time I see her working when I get there it’s already ruined my experience of eating my subway. And I LOVE SUBWAY. So, I’ll be going to a different subway now. Sorry to anyone else who gets skimped on their sandwich by this ONE GIRL!

Ordered 3 foot long for $18. He charged me $27 because I mix the meat on one sub.The sign said any sandwich. You would think he would tell the customer that there is extra charge. He wait until the end when the sandwiches are made. Poor business.
The policy at this place is ridiculous, I went in to order and there's 5 people in line in front of me and the workers are making a bunch of subs for online orders and making customers wait. I mentioned something to one of the workers and he got an attitude. Very poorly managed! After that I took my business elsewhere, another customer was was quick to follow, shaking his head as he was getting in his car. Terrible experience.
UPDATE: every time I come into this restaurant, they messed up my order in one way or another whether getting the ingredients wrong because they don’t read the mobile order receipt properly AND I want my sandwich made the normal way where your meat is on the bottom part of the sandwich and then you put cheese on top and then the fixings are on top of that so the fixings are right under the top part of the sandwich that has the herb and cheese on top of the bread and the meat is on the very bottom, lower part of the sandwich near the table not the new trend that’s been going on for about a year. Yet somehow these young folks just can’t seem to understand it when you tell him that that’s how you want your sandwich. They also don’t read the mobile order receipt properly when you go to tell them how much if it says normal amount or extra of a particular topping Today I said I wanted the normal amount of spinach but extra peppers, extra onions and extra banana peppers and she put a ton of spinach on instead of the average amount because she didn’t bother to read the receipt So I gave her constructive criticism like any customer would do if their order continues to get messed up Fortunately, there is no other place to go in town because all subways are owned by the same people and don’t tend to do a very good job with teaching their employees on how to do this job which is very sad The hours on their door says they close at 9 PM every day and here they are locking up and closing at eight. And this hasn’t been the first time they’ve done that. Change your hours on your door and Google or else stick to them people drive from 15 and 20 minutes out of town because it says that you’re open doesn’t matter if it’s not busy if you have a set hours then keep them so people like me don’t waste our gas coming in a town just to find that you’re closed.
Something is really off with the food. The tuna taste horrible. They never have any bread, meats , or cookies or soup. Literally went 4 dofferent times they dont have anything.I had to stop going. We have three locations and something is off with every one of them here. Please reteach your employees to make the tuna correctly and provide different options for breads and cookies. Unfortunate.
I waited in line for 15 minutes. Joey told me sliders are not available at this location but they can't remove them from the menu "or we will get dinged and if we get dinged enough the owner could lose his store." So why not put a notice on the menu saying the store doesn't have sliders? Or why not have sliders? What a a very odd way to so business. It's a waste of our time. I won't be back. That has to be worse than a ding.
Very disappointed in the Subway in the shopping center by Big 5. We walked in, waited for at least 10 minutes, was never greeted or helped. I finally asked if the 2 workers were the only 2 working? their response is no, there's someone else right there, but their on break. I proceeded to ask if the manager was in, and they said that was the guy on break. I realize that they were working on a to go order since we were the only people there, but to not be acknowledged or at least be told,we'll be right with you. I find it very disrespectful and was very shocked.
We go here weekly but will no longer after the experience we had today. I ordered a sandwich and asked for the avocado to be placed before the mustard and Mayo and the employee Tristan told me she couldn’t do that. Umm I was like why? Her reply was she had to change her gloves and couldn’t touch anything else. I told we’ll change your gloves. She grabbed the avocado and put on sandwich and literally threw the other half back into the bowl so hard the pit came bouncing out. She continued to be rude. This was absolutely the worst service we have ever gotten at this place.
I once wrote: "For a Subway, it's good." I don't know what happened, but the quality is now in the basement. My most recent sandwich was a tiny roll wrapped around a gluey glob of goo, and only by sheer luck did I find any meat within. Horrible experience. I mean, it's not like Subway has ever been great, but this is absolute bottom of the barrel. Go get a hot dog at Love's instead.
Staff does not wear masks and customers are not asked to wear a mask here. I just showed up tonight to order and walked right out. If you care about your health, your kids health or your parents or grandparents health during the pandemic, I'd skip this place. I personally can not support a business that does not care about their customers health and plan to boycott them unless their policy changes.
Eat here a lot, never had a great experience but tonight topped it. Three of us went in at 8:15pm. They close at 9. All the chairs were put up on the tables and they had put most of the food away. I asked the employee standing at the cashier on his phone if we could eat there, he replied "I'll make you sandwiches if you'd like". I replied "so I take that as a no?" After a few seconds pause just staring at me he answered back "would you like me to make you some sandwiches?" Was very frustrating, we'll drive to one of the truck stop Subways in the future.

This is the 4th time they’ve locked doors during business hours come on now. It’s 5 hours before closing time and the OPEN light is off. This is poor practice considering there’s 2 other Subways within 10 minutes of this one.
Update, managers response is in the photo. She called me a racist… how she came to that conclusion, I have no idea. I placed an online order for 33.55 and called the store to verify they received it because I was having issues online. They did not receive it but my card was charged 33.55. I spoke with Roxy who was very helpful and told me her manager, Jasmine would be in shortly. Roxy took my order over the phone so they could make it quickly when I got to the store in person after her manager had time to access what was going on. When I got in the store Jasmine was there and while I was explaining to her what happened, mid sentence, she put her hand up and started helping another customer. I waited until they were done and she proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do about the charge because on her end she didn’t see it and our town is full of scammers. I told her I would pay for the order and if she could have her crew make it quickly as I was in my lunch break. She proceeded to tell me no one wrote my order down and I would have to get in line and order again. Then Roxy spoke up and said she took it and she started making it. I asked what to do about the 33.55 charge and she said I would have to call my bank, that she could do nothing to help me and neither could Subway. My total ended up being .30 more in store and I would have assumed that she would have at least priced matched but she did nothing. She was extremely rude and now I worried about 33.55 that I was charged on top of the charge I had in store. I hope someone discusses her behavior with her and I hope someone can help me with my charge. It was not fraud, there was an error in the app somehow. We are regular customers and will not be going back.

I can hardly understand the lady at the cash register. The first time I came in she rang me up for cash when I was paying card and then insisted that I give her cash but I wanted to pay card. Now today I ordered a wrap and she was trying to charge me $13 when the menu clearly says $10.59. They told me that it was for a “foot long”. The menu clearly says “wrap” I did not add anything that would cause the price to change. Terrible service and they lost my business. Things have changed since the old manager is now gone. Miss that guy he greeted me with a smile and was pleasant to be around. New staff is unwelcoming and poorly trained.
Owner needs to respond to this . I got two sandwiches and 1 bag of chips for 28$. I came in and got a veggie sandwich add bacon and a tuna melt and 1 bag of chips for 28 bucks. The price gouging is bad enough but your undertrained employees last night before close told me I couldn't have more than a 3 finger scoop of black olives..... I paid nearly 30$ bucks for 2 sandwiches no drinks and you got your employees pinching lettuce and olives to not over portion. I got upset with your employees and told them this is not corporate policy nor is it a good guideline under your serv-safe . They refused to give me more than the petty amount that they stated the store owner had set as an example to them.
I’ve never been to a more stingy Subway… When you ask for spinach on a foot long, do you really expect them to put 6 little pieces??? Then when you ask politely for more, they give you 3 more little leaves… If we pay $13 + on a sandwich, stop being so cheap! Ridiculous.
Management reassured my concerns, I noticed several reviews getting deleted expressing a similar issue. Ridiculous and disingenuous management. The management is horrible and treats their workers horribly. You can sense the tension inside the restaurant due to the lack of proper staff motivation and treatment. Shoot, they’ll see this review and assume it’s the staffs fault and lack self accountability. Clearly understaffed store, overworked staff and poor management causing a result of poor customer experience and it all due to the lack of proper management.
I went to the subway and I just only ordered soup two cups to be exact. The soup tasted very funny and it had a chalky texture. I immediately called one of Subway's team members at the local store and was told that the manager would get back with me. Upon two days going past I went into the location to let the subway employee know that I had yet to hear from their manager and I wanted to know why. I was told that she was unavailable and if I left my information she would get back with me. I had yet to hear from any manager and I feel that as if the soup was spoiled or mishandled in some type of way. I do believe that this Subway needs to take better care of their food quality levels. This should never happen to anyone and I feel it's very unprofessional that the manager never reached out to me to make sure everything was okay or to even address the issue. I would really like to know whoever is in charge of this store and speak to them if possible.
Subway was seriously disappointing. Every single sandwich we ordered tasted stale and old like the ingredients had been sitting out way too long. The bread was dry and the veggies barely fresh. It felt like they didn’t care at all about quality. For a place that’s supposed to be fresh and customizable, this was just gross.
To whom it may concern.....the girl serving the veggies...toppings only giving pieces...I kept asking for more ...she only gave a little...skimping....I'm paying for my sandwich....made my way...horrible service...beware....LOOKS LIKE MANAGER ISNT CARING ABOUT HE OR SHE HOW THEY CARE ABOUT FEED BACK OF RESTAURANT....CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS FIRST PRIORITY...MAYBE...DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO READ POSTS....SAD...how they got the job
My brother and I went to this location and ordered a foot long turkey sandwich and a cheese pizza. My sandwich had a short black hair on it. The pizza was completely covered in mold on the bottom. He had already eaten half the pizza before noticing. When confronted they told me they could only either give me a refund for the pizza or make me a new one. My brother was hungry so we got a new one. I feel I should have been reimbursed for the fact my brother could have gotten extremely ill. We called the health department, hopefully this won’t happen again. Two bad coincidences on the same day at the same location is not normal. We will not be returning to this location.

They also don’t read the mobile order receipt properly when you go to tell them how much if it says normal amount or extra of a particular topping Today I said I wanted the normal amount of spinach but extra peppers, extra onions and extra banana peppers and she put a ton of spinach on instead of the average amount because she didn’t bother to read the receipt So I gave her constructive criticism like any customer would do if their order continues to get messed up Fortunately, there is no other place to go in town because all subways are owned by the same people and don’t tend to do a very good job with teaching their employees on how to do this job which is very sad The hours on their door says they close at 9 PM every day and here they are locking up and closing at eight. And this hasn’t been the first time they’ve done that. Change your hours on your door and Google or else stick to them people drive from 15 and 20 minutes out of town because it says that you’re open doesn’t matter if it’s not busy if you have a set hours then keep them so people like me don’t waste our gas coming in a town just to find that you’re closed.
Management reassured my concerns, I noticed several reviews getting deleted expressing a similar issue. Ridiculous and disingenuous management. The management is horrible and treats their workers horribly. You can sense the tension inside the restaurant due to the lack of proper staff motivation and treatment. Shoot, they’ll see this review and assume it’s the staffs fault and lack self accountability. Clearly understaffed store, overworked staff and poor management causing a result of poor customer experience and it all due to the lack of proper management.
