MUST HAVE!!! My boyfriend and I just visited for the first time after our workout today. Baja was down the street and seemed like a wonderful spot to try. We both were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and menu— we ordered a few types of tacos, including the marlin, shrimp, battered fish, Carne, Asada, etc. as well as rice and beans, and we were amazed at the quality of our food. It was also fresh and tasted delicious, including the salsas! Victor was a wonderful presence at the front counter, and we will certainly be back!

We originally were going to eat at El Pollo Loco. We decided to eat here, man I’m glad we did. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I got the surf and turf burrito. We also ordered the chips and salsa. I love the atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. The tortillas tasted homemade along with the chips. I’m very happy we found this place. We will definitely be back.

Just kind of stopped in one day and was pleasantly surprised. They have a lot of options on food and the burrito i got was REALLY good. I've only been there once so far, so i can't speak for the whole menu, but the burrito i got was good and decently priced at around $9-$10. The service was great too. The cashier girl was really nice. I would definitely go back.

Came with a group of gals and a toddler on a Tuesday. 2 ladies ordered the carne asada burritos. They were generously sized, fresh and flavorful. 2 of us ordered their 4 fish tacos special at only $8. They were also fresh and delicious. The fish had a nice crunch on the outside and soft and flaky inside. They came with all the expected cabbage and sauce toppings. So good. Another gal ordered the fish and chips and she said they were the best she's had in years. The toddler ordered a cheesy quesadilla and she ate it heartily. It came with fries which she loved as well. The guacamole & chips was also very fresh and chunky, just how it should be. I recommend this place.

My second time back because the tacos are out of this world. The grill shrimp and grill Mahi Mahi tacos are my favorite. The restaurant is clean. The staff is wonderful. I stumbled upon this place one time when I was in the mood for some shrimp tacos. I ended up getting a surf and turf burrito and a "machodilla" and omg it did not disappoint. I've been back a few times since then and everything I've had was delicious. The home made guacamole was great, the surf and turf burrito doesn't skimp on the good stuff, and the enchiladas were amazing. They have a small salsa bar with a few choices of salsa and some sides, and the salsas were pretty good but the sides didn't look fresh so I steered clear. Overall, I would definitely recommend and will continue to come back for the surf and turf burrito and machodillas alone. Don't forget the horchata while you're there too!

The best ceviche in town. It's difficult to get good ceviche this far inland. This place is pricey for small portions but the food is good. A small taco alone will cost you about $3. One order of ceviche is $10. I get it with tortilla chips instead of the tostada it normally comes with because it's difficult to eat a mountain if ceviche on one little tostada. It's enough to fill one person if you aren't super hungry. I also love their horchata. The dining room has a cool atmosphere but is very small. It gets crowded easily. It probably has chairs for 24 people but would be incredibly awkward if that many people were there at once. There is also a small amount of outdoor seating. If there are just a few people inside then my husband and I will eat there but if it's crowded we take our food to go.

This place is delicious! I decided to give them a try after seeing their Instagram videos, and the food did not disappoint! This is one my go-to restaurants now. Some of my favorites are the Baja Fish Tacos, Carne Asada fries, the Birria tacos, and Birria Ramen. One of my kids can’t eat cheese and the staff was so accommodating and patiently went through the menu with me to help me decide what to get him. They have great gluten free/dairy free options.

My friends and I stumbled upon this place after our wine tour. As soon as we came in we were greeted by our waiter. He was friendly and gave some great food recommendations. I can't recommend this place enough. This has easily become one of my go-to places. (Despite having other taco shops closer to me, it's usually worth making the 20 min drive) The prices are decent and everything I've had so far has been delicious. I usually order some variation of the Baja battered fish (add that chipotle crema), pork al pastor and pulpo (but they've unfortunately since discontinued the octopus). Shout-out to Victor for recommending the best loaded fries I've ever had. I usually order it with pork al pastor (however I know most people order it with carne asada - probably can't go wrong with that if that's more your preference).

A must stop if you're in Temecula! The service was absolutely amazing from the great recommendations to the attentiveness in making sure everything was to our liking. Now the food... The carne asada was juicy and perfectly cooked. We ordered the loaded fries, and wow they were truly loaded with meat! We also tried the taco enchilada plate as a sampler, and the enchilada sauce was to die for. I literally scooped up every last bit with my quesadilla. They offer several house made sauces with different spice levels, and all of them were delicious. Each of us had a different favorite, so definitely sample them all before choosing. The quesadilla was great too, but if you're deciding, I highly recommend the loaded fries and the taco enchilada plate both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Lastly, we got the horchata, and it was excellent perfectly flavored and not watered down at all. We pass through Temecula every time we visit California, and we can't wait to add this gem to our regular stop. There are so many other menu items we're excited to try next time!

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I discovered it not too long ago and have been back since. Food has always been amazing (so far we’ve gotten a couple different burritos and some fish/shrimp tacos). Above all though, service and the way the customers are treated by staff has always been exceptional since we’ve been there. Thank you guys for being here and open, also whatever you guys are doing is amazing! Update July 2025: This has easily become mine and my husbands favorite place to stop and get food. This place deserves way more than it seems to get. We cannot be happier with our experiences coming here and the friendliness given to us from the staff. Always so welcoming and accommodating. Thank you guys for being here and open, also whatever you guys are doing is amazing! Update July 2025: This has easily become mine and my husbands favorite place to stop and get food. This place deserves way more than it seems to get. We cannot be happier with our experiences coming here and the friendliness given to us from the staff. Always so welcoming and accommodating. We have tried more menu options since coming here and continued to be pleased with the quality. Couldn’t be happier that we found a small business not to far from us to keep supporting. Side note, vibes inside are always good including the music :)

First visit. Highly recommend. Delicious salmon tacos and in my opinion the best ceviche ever - its seafood and veggies fresh and the combination very flavorful. Even the black beans were surprisingly tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. Enjoyed the in-house made drink choices. We will be back soon.

This place is delicious! I decided to give them a try after seeing their Instagram videos, and the food did not disappoint! This is one my go-to restaurants now. Some of my favorites are the Baja Fish Tacos, Carne Asada fries, the Birria tacos, and Birria Ramen. One of my kids can’t eat cheese and the staff was so accommodating and patiently went through the menu with me to help me decide what to get him. They have great gluten free/dairy free options.

Place is good but not great. Tacos are tasty but too small for the price of each one. Had shrimp, Fish, al pastor, carne asada and swordfish. All were good except the swordfish.

Im really picky but i got the birria and quesabirria and it was some of the best ive had, horchata was good too. Only downside was the price

The place inside is small, but the food is good. They have the best Baja sauces and their burritos are real good. Meat is good quality and great flavors. I go a few times a month when In the area

Friendly and fast service, reasonable prices, great agua de jamaica. The food is good but their salsas makes it even better!

The reason we decided to try this restaurant was because we had a coupon for a free kid's meal from a local school-- the new owners discontinued the kid's menu! Why? That was the entire reason we went! The fantastic waitress remembered the kids menu and relayed it to the chefs-- my kids loved it! We also ordered the California burrito and 'surf&turf' burrito and both were delicious. It was odd that the only drink options were glass bottles or what my kids call "jug juices".

This is an interesting place. Decent food, but their prices are oddly high for the service and food portion received. Taco Tuesday is a joke. No real price break, beer price us stupid, very tiny dining area, and again oddly surly waitresses. A few tweaks in customer service, revisiting of the menu pricing and Taco Tuesday, and an inservice training for the employees would give this a solid 3 to 4 stars.

My family and I first had Baja's for mother's day, don't get me wrong there food was fresh and delicious. The reason for only three stars is because I felt them pricy for the quantity that was given.. my boyfriend had chosen the ceviche from the menu keep in mind that the price for this was $11.50 so we assumed there was going to be a decent amount .. when we received the food there was only two small tostadas that had ceviche.. it was yummy but that is expensive in my opinion for only two tosdadas ... Like I said their food was yummy and they were clean just pricy for the quantity.

Good tacos but bummed they use cheap freshwater Asian catfish for their Baja tacos. Use local fish or at least fish from the ocean

Kind of boring fish tacos and basic beans. Really great and nice server. Pretty pricy for 2 tacos. We are all the food!

I went here bc the reviews and was highly disappointed... My raging appetite wasted... Had the Mahi bowl... There was absolutely no seasoning totally bland. Also had the battered fish taco and it too was bland... The place looks great but they really need to work on putting FLAVA in the food... Will not visit again.

Food good but my order was just delivered without cutlery. I'm working at a job site at someone's house and now I only have the ability to eat half my lunch. Typical.

Disappointed! I used to come here so often for their batter shrimp tacos but apparently they changed ownership. With these new owners it was about $20 for only 3 shrimp tacos + they charge you for the salsa, haha.Tacos did not have any flavor and tasted just like anywhere else, earned my lesson not to come back.

If I could give this review a negative star, i would. Called ahead for an order of their "campechanas". Keep in mind that the menu lrices kn google maps is not updated they have went up on pricing everything by30% I spoke to the manager and he didnt have anything to say about it. Paid 36$ for 2 of them which where the size of a small dip. Very dissapointed in pricing and quantity of food. Being a person that loces seafood i promise you it is not authentic at all by miles.

I live close to this place and was in the mood for some fish and chips. I saw they had a combo that included fish, shrimp and chips so I knew I had to order that along with an XL Horchata. I won't lie, some of the saddest fish and chips of my life. Fish was limp and the batter was soft with zero crunch. It looked more like fish sticks than fish filets. The shrimp was also very soft on the batter. The fries were ok, could definitely use some kind of seasoning. The Horchata is honestly the only reason I am even giving this a 3-star review, because the food only earned a 1.5 at best. I did come in a Sunday, so maybe they didn't have their best cooks, I will try again on another day, see if this was a fluke. Edit: reduced rating down to 1 star due to stomach discomfort and bathroom experiences following eating here. Fluke or not, never eating here again.

Waited to order for about 10mins when we decided to just leave. Cashier who was also the server kept taking orders to tables and not once acknowledged us. She was behind the counter several times and a simple I’ll be right with you or I’m sorry for the wait would have been enough to keep my business. Even a smile but not once did she turn to us to acknowledge we were there. The gentleman in the kitchen also mentioned for her to take care of us and she blew him off and started looking at receipts of orders instead.

Read about this place and decided to try it! First off, ordered chips and guacamole. Chips smelled like old grease and tasted horrible. The waiter did bring back a new basket that were better. Old grease Is so nasty. Then my husband got his grilled fish taco and grilled shrimp taco. Fish piece was size of an index finger! No joke! Two tiny shrimp were in the taco. Both had a lot of cabbage though🤣. Beans tasted like a can of Rosarita were opened and heated up in the back. Honestly, it’s sad to be so negative but this place was really talked up and was a major disappointment 😖 The young man at the counter was very nice and attentive which was the only star! My daughter ordered fish and chips. The fish pieces were not crispy but limp and had a weird aftertaste. The fries were tasty and crispy. Overall a sad Friday night out for dinner☹️.

Easily the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. If you can even call them fish and chips? Very floppy, wet and off smelling. The service was okay. They wouldn’t refund me even though I hadn’t eaten it. Exchanged it for a Cali burrito that was also a flop. Oh well. On to the next. Definitely surprised they are still open. Do not recommend. Edit: the bite I did have of the burrito made me sick. Please don’t eat here :/
