Went on a Thursday night, was fairly busy, but had great service. Our server was able to give us great oyster recommendations (the Kumamoto oysters were a fantastic choice) and everything came out beautiful and tasty. I will be coming again 🤤

This is my first time here at this restaurant, we got here on a Sunday and the place is busy. We want to try the pan roast and oyster selection dish. The place has a very decor and a lively atmosphere. Our host and server is very friendly and helpful with our drinks and food selection. Our server Cindy is very knowledgeable about the drinks and the food selection she is so friendly and nice and the other server is so friendly and nice too Jonathan is also helpful to help us with our order and sharing with us the special Sunday mimosa on Sunday for only $6.00 with any entries meal. We love all the appetizers and our main entries are all delicious. We want to thank all the servers and cooks at the dive to make our Sunday so memorable. Everyone that works at the Dive is the best in what they do. I recommend everyone that loves seafood and pan roast dishes you must come to these places. My family and I will definitely come back to this place again and again. Thanks, to everyone that works at the Dive their customer service is so outstanding.

Stopped by here in search of seafood during a work trip…delicious! Had various kinds of oysters to start off, and then had the Bouillabaisse since I’m a big fan of saffron. All the seafood inside tasted amazing, and I’d definitely come back to try some of their other pan roasts.

I am soooo happy to have found this precious gem of a restaurant! Delicious food, stellar customer service, great location…need I say more? Yes I can, so I will. While I’ve had their food in the past & have been pleased, today’s dining experience deserves mentioning. I had a hankering for seafood but was in a rush to get home before traffic got too bad. I called The Dive Oyster Bar & placed an order to go. Upon my arrival, my order was packed & ready to go…zero wait so I could easily grab & go. Once I got home & ready to dig in, I noticed how well packaged my items were. The steamed clams were packed in a way to keep all the broth from spilling out & the fried oysters & crawfish tails were packaged in a vented container to keep them crispy. Everything was AMAZING. The broth for the clams was so flavorful & went great w/the French baguette provided to “sop” up the broth. The crawfish & oysters were quite tasty too. Everything paired perfectly w/a salad I already prepared ar home. This meal was plentiful & more than enough to feed 3 people. The quality & price point made my tastebuds & wallet do the happy dance! Do yourself a favor & dive into The Dive Oyster Bar, you’ll be so glad you did.😋

Went there during happy hour, the blue devil oysters were $1/each but pretty small. Ordered another half dozen of UFO, tasted fresh. Lobster roll was average but absolutely loved the Dive’s Rosta (last picture). Service was amazing, very attentive :)

We want for my God-Mothers Bithday; the atmosphere was nice, very modern. The service was great, there seemed to be only one wait staff but she was great, and worked well for the amount of people in the restaurant. The food was wonderful. We ordered the Sprouts (a little oily, but tasty), Hot Cheetos Truffle Mac 'n Cheese, Clam Chowder, Pan Roast, Bouillabaisse, Blackened Salmon Salad, and Po Boy Andouille Sausage. Everything was delicious.

Great happy hour. Mon-Fri 3-6. Great specials on drinks and small bites. Inside is modern and pretty spacious. They have a few TVs over the bar to watch a game. Went in for happy hour and got oysters, the hot Cheeto truffle mac & cheese, and the fish & chips. I liked everything. Also liked their tequila sunrise and sangria. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Good service. Friendly staff. There's parking in the shopping center lot but it can get full but there's also underground parking.

My love for seafood and sweets comes from my Dad, and we enjoyed every dish from The Dive Oyster Bar in Temple City, California. ✨Without any explanation, he knew what to do, from the oyster & soft shell crab cheers to slowly spooning up the chowder to making that sauce drip✨ We had: 🦪Taylor Kumamotos (WA, small, meaty, creamy, sweet brothy finish), 🦪Le Petit Bara (PEI/CAN, small, briny, seaweed finish), 🍲Loaded Chowder Bread Bowl (sourdough, New England chowder, cheese, bacon, green onions), 🦀Soft Shell Crab (trio of Cajun spiced soft shell crab, lemon, remoulade), and 🍞Bread Pudding (homemade bread pudding, vanilla ice cream, caramel bourbon, berry compote)

Update 12/5/23 Stopped by for a quick lunch break. Was craving pan roast and seafood and the Five is the only spot outside of Las Vegas I will go to. Tried the Bouillaroast, which is a combo of their pan roast and bouillabaisse . Very rich broth and great seafood mix. Ordered spicy and it was just right for me. Accompanying bread was also fresh and added to the dish. Was solo, so sat at the bar which had a great view of the action. These unique pan roasts and the chef behind the magic was awesome to watch. In and out in 30-40 mins which was perfect for a work day. Only knock was the lobster. The tail meat was easy to access, but a little chewy. The claw took some work but was nice and tender. Personally, wish the lobster was optional, as I'm more a crab person than lobster person, but nothing that would keep me from ordering the dish again. Given the amount of seafood, I think the $37 price tag was fair, but certainly not a daily lunch option :). Service was super friendly and efficient. Will be back. ——- Been wanting to stop by for happy hour and finally had the chance this past Friday. So happy we did. Service and food were all on point. For starters they have Opd Fashions and Moscow Mules on their happy hour drink menu and also happen to be my GF and my favorite drinks, so good start there. Oysters were great and a $1 each, real bargain. Also tried their HH clams and mussels, wings, clam chowder and fish and chips. The only thing we probably won’t order again are the wings. Needed more sauce. Everything else tasted incredible and at HH prices, can’t say anything bad. Will be back!

Love the happy hour and food here. They play sports on the TV too. The environment was welcoming. Lights aren't that bright or too dim. Happy hour is from Monday to Friday 3pm to 630pm, Friday to Saturday starting at 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday $6 bottomless mimosas with entree from 12pm to 3pm. I've tried the house pan roast, cioppino, gumbo, and all the oysters. Every dish was delicious. Gumbo was good, although I've had better. Note: if you want to order oysters during happy hour, make sure you ask which types are on happy hour since only certain ones are on the HH menu. I didn't know this and had to pay the price. Customer service is good. Parking is free in the parking lot or in the parking structure.

This is a nice little spot in Temple City went for lunch with my daughter. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our order. My daughter ordered the catfish po boy sandwich and I had the fish and chips. Normally I take a picture of the food but we had to take it to go and are in the car while driving. The food was delicious 😋 Omg... I will return

Came early during the happy hour to easily find parking outside. Got seated right away and not yet busy during the weekday evening. Perfect for our xmas dinner. So many good food on the menu, can't make up my mind but I know I'm here for a lobster and I want it whole, so I got it. Creamy sauce, mild spicy, and very delicious..not salty..just perfect. Tried my friend dish and that was also perfect. Can't go wrong here..enjoy!

The food never disappoints. It's one of the few places my husband loves the gumbo since they use okra in it. The clam chowder bowl is amazing and I've always enjoyed their drink of the month. So far enjoyed Mother of Dragons which I was was there always and this one was the watermelon sugar high. Super cute and very sweet! They have many options of food and drinks to choose from. It's a must try restaurant!

Third time, still as awesome as the first. My gal got the shrimp Louie again, I tried the house special pan roast this time. Last time, I got the bouillaroast (sp?) for my birthday - all the same stuff, plus lobster. Yum. Plus, you can order your food really spicy, and I loves me some spicy. Had to wait a few minutes for a seat, but only because we didn't have a reservation. Plus, sitting at the bar we could watch 'em make the food, which was also entertaining. The only negative thing about it is, the parking lot is always crazy-full.

Great for Drinks & Bar Food, Less for Entrees We came here on a friend's recommendation, and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was spot-on. The food was mostly delicious, but a couple of dishes were surprisingly bland. The real stars were the oysters and the bar food. We'd highly recommend this place for drinks and small plates. Bottom line: A solid choice for a fun time with great drinks and oysters, but maybe not the place for a special occasion where the entree is the main event.

If you haven’t been to Dive Oyster Bar yet, what are you doing?! We stopped by for happy hour and WOW — everything was so good. The drinks were amazing (dangerously good, honestly), the food was fantastic, and the vibes were just right. Shoutout to our server who absolutely crushed it — super friendly, on top of everything, and just made the whole experience even better. And here’s the part that really made us fans for life. When we left, there was a little mix-up and we didn’t get one of our leftovers. We walked back in, and the manager didn’t just apologize — they made us a whole new Roasta pasta. Like… who does that?! They were so kind and cool about it. That’s the kind of place you want to support. Great food, killer drinks, amazing service, and management that actually cares. Safe to say they’ve got customers for life. Highly, highly recommend. 🙌

Came here for Happy Hour for the first time They recently changed the times such that Happy Hour ends at 6 pm but it's available not just M-F but on the weekends too. It wasn't too busy on a Thursday and we ended up getting the clam chowder, steam clams and mussels and the fish chips. The clam chowder was great. It didn't taste too heavy with cream and there was a good amount of clams. I thought the steam clams and mussels were okay. The size of the clams and mussels seemed on the smaller side and it came with some bread too. The fish and chips I liked. I thought it was a good portion for the price. The service was great and I would come back for happy hour but maybe stick to the fish and chips and clam chowder.

You know a place is good when you need to use your credit card to make a reservation, and this place did not disappoint at all. The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. The entrees portions are big and flavorful, with tons of seafood variety. The soft shell crab was very satisfying and the oysters very fresh. Great spot in a great location too, it gets super busy on the weekends.

I ordered Uber Eats, food was still hot and fresh. Shrimp and grits was on point, the andouille gravy took it over the edge for me great combination 🤩 I also had the bacon wrapped shrimp….yum 🤤

Came here on a Thursday with a friend and luckily made it just before happy hour ended at 6:30pm. We started with the clam and mussel, half a dozen oysters, and a bowl of clam chowder. For entrees, we shared the fish and chips and the house pan roast. Everything was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Service was amazing. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Parking can be tricky at times, but there’s an underground garage and a top lot, both free, which makes it manageable. The ambiance can get loud when the games are on, but it still felt comfortable and we were able to have a conversation without shouting. Overall, a great spot for seafood and good vibes—I’ll definitely be back.

If you’re a seafood lover, The Dive Oyster Bar in Temple City is a must-try! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great dining experience. The vibes are laid-back yet lively, making it a fun spot to enjoy fresh seafood with friends or family. We started with the Seafood Charcuterie, which was absolutely stunning and packed with flavor—Peruvian scallops, oysters, lobster tail, king crab legs, cocktail shrimp, and 3 different sauces, all incredibly fresh and delicious. Next up were the Chowder Frots, which were indulgent little bites loaded with cheese, chowder, bacon, and tomatoes—comfort food at its best. The highlight of the night was their house specialty Pan Roast, served with a side of rice and linguine. The creamy tomato seafood bisque base was rich and flavorful, with seafood and sausage in every bite. It was the perfect mix of hearty and comforting. The only downside is that it’s located in a very busy plaza, and parking can be tough on weekends—but honestly, the food is so worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back for another round!

Dive Oyster Bar is the ultimate spot to chill with great vibes, a cozy nautical dive vibe, and top-notch service. Whether you're there for a happy hour hangout or a full meal, they've got you covered! I'll always be here for their happy hour specials. Here's what we devoured: - Fish 'n Chips - $11.50 during happy hour; so crispy and filling! - Hot Cheeto Mac & Cheese - $10 during happy hour, very decadent and creamy! - House Specialty Pan Roast - the happy hour version is only $10 with grilled cheese! this dish was very flavorful and was loaded with seafood and protein. - Clam Chowder Bowl - the happy hour version is only $7 (no bread bowl). Super creamy and delicious! I love this spot--great service, immaculate vibes, and quality food at reasonable prices! It has everything you need for a perfect dinner out with friends. Pro tip: make a reservation on Open Table beforehand because it can get busy.

I recommend this place to anyone who craves oyster / mussels. My favorite is their soft shell crab, fried oysters, and fries with mussels. Lobster roll in my opinion is just okay. If you’re craving creole cajun Louisiana flavors, this will hit the spot. Service is wonderful! They’re so sweet and kind. Very attentive and helpful. The steamed clams and mussels were really good. The broth with the bread, so yummy. Texture of the shellfish was great, well cooked. The chowder was super flavorful, a must get. We would do it without the bread bowl next time though. Shrimp and grits - get them. Just order them. They were so good. Perfect cheesy grits with the amazing sausage flavors and plumb shrimp. Soo good. Fish and chips were actually good. Fish was fried nicely. Not a greasy taste. Love fries like this, where they have the crispy coating on the outside. Cajun lobster pasta was my favorite dish of the night. Would absolutely eat this again! Lobster was slightly a workout to get all out, but all together the flavors were so great and well seasoned. Bouillaroast was as expected. Seafood in it was cooked really well though! We were so full but managed to taste the beignets, would skip them next time. The bread pudding was really good though, it was warm and tasty! Parking - big free parking lot and garage for this huge strip mall plaza. You just gotta walk around the corner to find their front doors

Outstanding food and service from this restaurant. Not too many restaurants can do the southern comfort food right. The Dive Oyster Bar nailed it in both taste and presentation. I have been coming to this shopping mall eating in all the restaurants except this one. After reading good reviews on Yelp, we decided to come to try out their food during happy hours. Despite the cold reception by the front desk person, we had exceptional service from our waitress and all the other staff were very friendly. Although we didn't have a reservation, our waitress was very accommodating and got us a table in no time. The foods were amazing. My wife grew up in Arizona and she loves the Cajun southern food. We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, Russel sprouts, Dive chowder, and grilled cheese and pan roast. They were all fantastic. I loved my chowder which tasted so good. The bowl was filled with generous shrimps and shelled clams. The best dish was the bacon wrapped shrimp. The bacon was not over fried and the mustard sauce dip was delicious. I saw many people ordered raw oysters and lobsters. They all seemed to enjoy their food. I think we should try out those other dishes next time.

Cajun lobster pasta cost $56.50 and features a whole lobster. The lobster was beyond overcooked where the tail meat was tough and chewy. The cioppino had two crab claws that were also overcooked. The cioppino had quite a few shrimp, couple octopi legs, calamari, and white fish. Steam mussels and clams were tasty in a garlic butter sauce. Heavy Italian seasoning was used for all three dishes. The oysters were served with horseradish. The meal was disappointing because the crab and lobster were way overcooked. Stick to just the oysters, mussels, and clams and you won’t be disappointed.

Great place for Cajun creole!! Excellent service by the staff, mainly from Achilles and another lovely lady I did not get a chance to catch her name. I went during the happy hour (3pm-6pm Monday to Friday) so of course I took advantage of the fresh oysters, cup of clam chowder and grilled cheese with pan roast soup. Entree wise, we ordered their traditional house pan roast (with habanero spice level), with a side of deep fried soft shell crab. I honestly think everything must be tried at least once because they had great flavors. The clam chowder is full of seafood flavor with not too much heavy cream. The deep fried soft shell came in 6pcs total (3 pcs cut in half) with the tartar sauce to cut the oil. It was so soft I didn't feel like sharing with my partner. The traditional pan roast with rice was full of proteins, I can't avoid it every time I take a bite. The spice was perfect but if not too intense ( for me) to continue eating. I sat at the bar section to have the best access to alcohol and did not get disappointed. Never had an empty glass and loved the background music.

Came here to pickup a quick snack. I ordered their Hot Cheetos Truffle Mac and Cheese $10.00 and it was delicious! Easy online ordering and friendly service. Can't wait to try some of their Cajun/Creole fare. Free parking in lot.

The Dive Oyster Bar saved us after a baseball game. We thought we could make until after the game but that was a mistake since it was so late by the time we got out of the stadium parking lot! The Dive Bar serves food late! We walked in about 10:45pm on a whim. The food is ok, but the staff here is stellar. I’ve eaten at Ritter’s down on valley and I like their pan roasts, clam shower and gumbo a little more. Our pan roast and clam chowder here was a little too salty for me (and I like salt) but the Mac and cheese chowder in a bread bowl was a funny different take on 2 comfort favorites! My kid liked it but all that starch is really filling! Would we come here again? Yes I’d give it a go again and maybe see if I can ask for it to be less salty. Although I’m not sure that’s possible! Oh the bacon wrapped shrimp was fried to a crisp so I’m not sure if that was accidental or on purpose but I wish it had a little more texture than something like a chip.

Went to this new restaurant based on the recommendation by Google. The place is just open, they have a soft opening menu. Not too many customers when we were there. We ordered their most popular foods from their menu. Taste was good, prices are pretty expensive and the customer service was friendly! Worth trying if you're in the area!

Came here for happy hour with a few friends. We tried a few items off the menu and the consensus was that we thought it was just okay. They do give out pretty large portions and the flavors were decent. I was told that the oysters and gumbo were just okay. The crawfish, fries, and salmon salad were decent as well. The sangria was pretty good so I'd come back and try other items off the menu. The parking lot can get crowded but there is additional underground parking as well.

Have been to The Dive a few times, and I'm gradually becoming a fan! And I've gotta say, they really improved over the years! Also, have a much improved HH menu too! Some recommendations: 1. HH oysters! Every Mon. to Fri, 3pm- 6:30pm, $1.25 oysters. You can easily do a few rounds of oysters, so come hungry! So good! 2. The dive's roasta is yum, and don't forget to add lobster. They give you the whole lobster! 3. Gumbo and shrimp n grits are good and flavorful 4. Cocktails are mostly delicious. HH sangria and oyster shooters were delish 5. Both chowder frots and bacon cheddar cheese fries pair well with the drinks. Cheesy and tasty! Cons? The oysters are smaller compared to most other oyster bars, good thing they are sweet and fresh. Pan roast is a hit or miss, and some say it's not the most authentic. Also, I noticed that the tips percentages are based on the check price AFTER taxes. But the service was friendly though! All in all, love their oysters! Love their HH! Would strongly recommend to make a reservation ahead to avoid the long wait, this place is always packed. They accept reservations on yelp.

It's been a while since I ate here. The menu is completely different, and that's for the best. Nothing is too exorbitant like before and the food is 100x better than it was. We got the happy hour oysters, which were delicious. Also ordered the cracktastic chowder frots and the cioppino. With ours beers & an old-fashion, it was a nice mid-afternoon snack. Our server was very pleasant & all the food came out fast and hot. It was so different from previous experiences that I'm willing to go back sooner than a few years from now.

Loved this place! Been meaning to go there for a while now, but it just never happened. Went last night, a Friday at around 10pm. They have late night happy hour! Drink and food specials. Some super tasty chowder, some of the best fish and chips I have ever had! And after a while I really liked the hot cheetos truffle mac and cheese. An absolute must try. Our server was super fantastic, however I forgot her name... my bad. Tall, dark haired, extremely on point!!

In an area where so many different types of Chinese cuisine thrive, The Dive Oyster Bar is an outlier welcomed by those looking for something unique and outside the mold in SGV. This restaurant is located in the same plaza holding a Michelin star rated Chinese restaurant (Bistro Na) yet it can hold its own once you try it out. Let me tell you about this wonderful place and why you should check it out. Interior - Pirates with Spray Paint Once you walk inside you are taken away from the craziness of the SGV and instead come inside an area that can only be described as "nautical chic". Fishnets hang from the ceiling with old diver helmets, figures of whales, neon signs, and colorful street art along the walls. The use of plants are tasteful and work well with the semi-industrial style of the seating in the dining room floor. High ceilings make the space feel bigger than it actually is and the vibe is welcoming without being overwhelming. Also, their bar is very cool and well designed. Service We only had one server on our lunch date and she was all we needed. She was kind, informative, and gave great recommendations. I'm sure if we came an hour later when people started coming in it would've been hectic, but service felt relaxed and they gave us plenty of attention. Food Currently, this restaurant is participating in DineLA's Restaurant Week and doing a pre-fixe menu for lunch and dinner. The choices are actually fantastic and worth checking out. Here are my thoughts on what we got. Sprouts (aka Brussels Sprouts) - right off the bat I'm going to tell you this was arguably the best Brussels sprouts I ever had. Brussels sprouts with red onions, feta cheese, and bacon vinaigrette. Actually amazing in both flavors and smell. I couldn't believe how pleasant it was to the mouth. One of the times where the smell was as sensual as the taste. The feta balances out the sweetness of the vinaigrette and adds a complexity to it. I usually don't like feta, but it feels like a missing piece of a puzzle I didn't even know existed, making this dish complete. You have to try this. Bacon Wrapped Shrimp - it's exactly what the name sounds like. Served with a sweet honey mustard this hit a spot only shrimp hugged by bacon could do. Flight of Oysters - you can't go to an oyster bar and not try them. They had four different kinds and the sauces it came with were fantastically paired by the freshness of the oysters. One of the sauces was reminiscent of a chimichurri and was exquisite. Soft Shell Crab Po' Boy - not bad as far as flavors go. The remoulade adds a nice bitter flavor. The soft shell crab itself is also flavorful, but because there isn't much meat inside it feels a bit empty. If you pair it with the pan roast though you have a nice dippable sandwich to take advantage of all the chunky ingredients in the pan roast. Sausage & Chicken Pan Roast - deep in flavors and creamy, this savory dish is the way it should be: a giant hug of warmth inside and out. They don't skimp with the ingredients with a bite of something meaty in each bite. This is how every pan roast should be. Overall, The Dive Oyster Bar had a great selection of different food with most of them being hits. There were items on their menu that looked intriguing I want to come back and try. I still dream about their Brussels sprouts too. I look forward to coming back and trying this place once more and I encourage you to do the same. Perfect for solo eating, get togethers, or a simple date. Check this place out.

Fun place, great menu...we could have tried every single item. Bacon wrapped shrimp and pan roasts are incredible. Friendly service. We had reservations for a Saturday evening.

This place is like a a little higher end version of boiling crab with lobster roll, pasta clam chowder and all other seafood options...WITHOUT needing to eat it with hands. Food is great. The lobster dishes are market prices so make sure to ask for the price that day. Service was friendly and fast and they made sure we got the help when needed. I went in the afternoon and there werent alot of people so it was more quiet. Not so sure about night time. Parking in a bit difficult unless you park underground. Will come again!

Service is a little slow espcially during dinner hours and prices are a little higher for oysters off happy hour. Otherwise Oysters are tasty and their fish and chips and very fresh. Could use a bit more seasoning though.

My review is based off of the happy hour menu. Parking is crazy in this plaza so be prepared and careful. The bathroom was ok and pretty clean (though I prefer paper towels over hand driers). Seating was plenty and the decorations were great!! They did a lot to make the place fit the theme very well. However, we came on a 100 degree day where it was 95 at night and the AC was not working!! Could not believe there was no AC. There were fans going but that just blows around warm air and dries out my contacts. It was extremely disappointing to be sweating while eating. Ordered the sangria (it was good and sweet like I was looking for), tried the brussel sprouts (that was amazing with the addition of feta cheese. Very tasty, a perfect duo!), and I tried the chicken wings (way overcooked because it made it dry and hard to chew and very salty) and the fish n chips (that was most disappointing. It had a bad fishy taste and was kinda mushy). I would recommend getting the brussel sprouts and the cajun fries (delicious and the fries were not too spicy at all). My friends enjoyed the oysters (they said it was really fresh). Everything else is a no go. The server was nice and checked up on us but whenever we really needed him, he was nowhere to be seen. So service was 50/50 to me.

I ordered the house pan roast. The seafood in the dish had a frozen taste to it; an immediate turn-off. My friend ordered the clam chowder. It had shrimp in it which was different. She liked it. The drinks were decent. I had the Lychee martini. The oysters were delicious, especially the Kumamoto. The service from our waitress was mid. If I return, it would be for the oysters and the drinks only.

Located in a corner strip mall, parking is always a hassle here even with the underground lot. Everything felt and tasted mediocre. The menu is geared towards Cajun style flavors, but it’s not very authentic. The tables were super close to each other and it was very loud. They have a small bar and a few TVs spread out. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m sadly disappointed. I may try out their happy hour menu though. The jambalaya is more creole and although I love tomatoes, there were so much of them just to add volume to the dish. The texture of the rice was all over the place and the roux was pretty watery. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday evening and only one cook, it took forever to get our entrees. The Mac and Chowder was not worth it, bacon topped macaroni and cheese in a sourdough bread bowl with just a hint of chowder.

On August 1st, after having Korean BBQ, we still weren’t satisfied and decided to come here for a few more bites and to chat a bit. While my husband went to the restroom, he got hit by the door because there was no light — this was already the third time someone in our group got hit due to the lack of lighting. If his eyebrow hadn’t swollen up, we wouldn’t have even said anything. But when we brought it up, the staff told us there was no manager or supervisor on site. After I insisted, they finally gave us two phone numbers — supposedly for the managers, Jonny and Jenny — but no one has ever answered those calls. It’s like those numbers don’t even belong to real people. We’ve been to this place many times before, but this kind of attitude is just unacceptable. It’s not like there’s a shortage of oysters in Los Angeles.

Went to this place for happy hour, and it was an unhappy experience. The food was fine. The sangria was not worth it. Then we got the check, on the menu the oysters are $2 each, on the check it’s $2.50 each. We asked the waitress about it, she said they ran out of the $2 ones and the ones we got were $2.50. She didn’t tell us about it when order it. Then on the receipt it shows $2.5 each for a dozen is $35. That’s obviously a scam, $2.5 each a dozen would be $30. We asked the waitress about it, and she said her friend died, very sad. Eventually they fix it, but it took them about 15 minutes. No reason to go back to this place. If you plan to go to this place, make sure you carefully check your receipts!
