This has to be one of the best Texas Roadhouses I've been to in a while. Could have been that they just opened or maybe the day. My food was on point and the service was outstanding. I had no complaints about anything. I normally get the exact same steak, cooked the same way. I only change the sides up. Go on and enjoy yourself.

In town from the metroplex for a convention and staying next door to TR, had a very tight one hour window for dinner and was not hopeful. Returning to my hotel I saw the parking lot jammed at 5:45pm on a Friday with a line going out the door. Thought what the hell and took a shot at the bar seating- bingo. Literally within moments of nailing a seat a smiling bartender who had her hands full of drinks shouted hello! Then some kid in a cowboy hat straight from 8 Seconds quickly rambled over with his best Texas welcome to take my order. I INSTANTLY got the impression these folks weren't messing around with their customer service. Cowboy kid was awesome- he took my hotel coupon, asked how I liked Temple, wished me luck at my business and read my ribeye order back to me verbatim. Probably within a total of 5-7 minutes I had my frosty mug of Michelob Ultra, hot rolls, dinner salad, and perfectly cooked ribeye, in that order. Boom. PLUS a very real chance of making my next appointment. Damn! Mike, my man, that's how you do it brother! The bar was hopping- sports games on TV, folks happy for the weekend, excellent vibe. There were paintings up on the wall that perfectly described the mood. During my dinner Mike moseyed over a few more times to check-in, and one of the blue shirted floor managers even made the rounds in the bar area to inquire with EACH patron on their experience. I wished that I could hang out for another beer. I told another blue shirted manager just that as I fought through the crowd on the way out and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "Welp, you've always got tomorrow night!" You know, she ain't wrong. It literally felt like a party I didn't want to leave. And it was only friggin dinner. I've been to plenty of TR's all over the country (our go-to is off 287 up in Mansfield) but this restaurant was truly special. Whoever runs this place is doing a kick ass job.

Grace was amazing! Super nice, fast, kept checking on us, & was always smiling. The food was perfect. The wait was about 10min, for a table of 5, on a Thurs night. Parking for big vehicles is available at the very back, my husband drove in with his semi trailer cab.

Outstanding service! It was getting packed as soon as they opened! I can see why, service was amazing! Atmosphere was great! Food...on point 100%!! I can't complain! And you gotta try the cactus blossom! It's delicious! I'm definitely looking forward to when I can come back! Also, the prices are reasonably. I ordered for me and the kid...1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks..rounded up 42$. Again, great service!

Very crowded for a Sunday evening, but it's clear why. Best steaks I've had in a steakhouse in many years. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly charred crust, perfectly cooked medium rare. Got the bone in ribeye, 26 Oz, so very tender. Cesar salad was also very good and nicely done. The only problem, don't fill up on the bread rolls and honey butter before you get your dinner. Nice atmosphere, great service. Obviously can't speak for every Texas Roadhouse, but this one in Temple hits it out of the park.

Even when it is slammed busy and there is a small wait, the staff are awesome and the food still comes out great! Fast service and a clean dining area top off a great dining experience. Best part of all? Our waiter kept the heavenly rolls and honey butter flowing. It was a great dinner.

We joined the wait through the app with ease and received a text when it was our time. It was extremely busy but the staff had us everything we needed and checked on us consistently. We ordered apps and steaks and the food taste amazing! We requested no weights on steaks and they cooked perfectly. This is an hour from our home but our favorite location!

We went for my daughter's birthday today. I had portobello smothered chicken, my daughter had half rack of ribs and my bff had 6 oz sirloin. All food was great, staff was super friendly and checked in us regularly. And we didn't have to wait long to get a table.

This was my first experience at Texas Roadhouse, and it was okay. It was reasonably priced. The place was packed, but the wait time was only maybe 5 minutes, which is great. It took about 35/40 minutes for our meals to come out, which seemed like it took longer. The floor under our table was really dirty, but I'm assuming they just didn't have enough time to really clean it because of how many people were there. Our server was really nice and helpful, but there were some things forgotten. We had to remind her about the bread, ranch, barbecue sauce, just little things like that, which I'm not even sure if that falls on her, and was really no biggie. Then we ordered a bacon burger that came out with no bacon. She was very apologetic about everything and made sure to keep full glasses on the table. The food itself was pretty good, although maybe a little salty. But still very tasty. The bread alone will keep me coming back. Overall, I'd like to return and give it another go, maybe when it's a little slower.

I am staying in the motel next to the temple roadhouse location and order the porterhouse steak I think is the best! The first time I went to the pickup window and the young lady working was happy and very nice and was sincerely a enjoyable Zen around her but then the last two times there was a young colored girl and she was very rude. She made me feel as if I had said or did something wrong and all I had don’t was rang the window bell to get my order at the pickup window and after she gave my bag of food and the extra roll I asked for in the special instructions on order I’m put the bag of roll in bag and she she pushes the bag out of the window way and slams the window. Not a have a good night or hope you enjoy your meal absolutely I just got her rudeness of pushing my bag out of the way and shutting window. I’m so upset that I’m in Mansfield and there a roadhouse across street and I can’t get myself to go because I’m worried that maybe it bothers the workers to give the food thru the pickup window and I don’t want to make anyone feel that way so not sure what to do in this case hell it’s not even in the same town the girl was rude to me at but i think of it and not sure what to do!!! Definitely not a normal filling!!! But I love the steaks

The food was okay. My mac n cheese was dry and plain. My loaded mashed potatoes were not mashed up very well. They could of added butter and melted the cheese. Chicken fried steak was good. The rolls were really good. I ordered a sangria swirl and it really wasn't a swirl. Our waitress was nice and had awesome customer service.

Ordered to go. First time at a Texas Roadhouse in about a very long time. Just ordered some appetizers and rolls. The cactus blossom was overly greasy and had raw batter in the middle and around the inside which wasn't the best. The parts which were edible were good. The killer ribs although good were very overdone and not very much meat on them. The shrimp skewer was the best thing we ordered. Regardless of the issues it was a good dinner. Our order was not ready until almost 10 minutes passed when we requested it. The only receipt we had was the one which was emailed to us only to find a discrepancy on it. The service manager Kayley understood our dilemma and took prompt action to remedy the situation. THANK YOU. We can say we tried the food again and it was enough!

It's a chain, and you know what to expect. I've had to change my 5-star review and drop it a bit. Seems that since Texas Roadhouse has taken the #1 spot for family dining in the US, the attitude has changed. I made a comment to the manager that it was very difficult to hear, and her response was, "It's Prime Time, baby!" And she had to yell in order to be heard... kinda made my point for me. The food was on par with what we've come to expect - pretty good... except the pulled pork. The pork seemed to be the bottom of the barrel, and since we were there at 6:00 on a Saturday evening (Prime Time, baby!) I can't imagine they were running low on the product. Our almost inability to carry on a conversation among four people at a booth made the experience less than enjoyable. The music was so loud everyone at every table had to speak loudly to be heard, which caused other tables to speak louder, which caused other tables to speak louder, which caused other tables to speak louder, until... well, you get the idea.

Terrible service do not recommend going to this location!! I’ve been to a few locations but this was the worst one I’ve ever been to, the food was ok but the service just terrible since the beginning, so when we get inside theres like 5 or more girls at the front, since we open the door they where staring at us without greeting or anything after a few seconds that I see that they just kept staring at us like if we were bothering them I said can I get a table for 2 please, one of the girls was like “OK” they usually always ask about your day or stuff while you get to your table this girl did not said a word and even when we got to our table no words she just left, I decided to not let that ruin our night cause it was my boyfriends birthday so I was like ok no worries, then when our waitress got to the table she seem a little off, but I was like well were just going to order eat our dinner I wasn’t gonna worry about them , but the time she came to take our order and 1 time that she went to our table after we got our food she was rude like she didn’t want to be there at this point I was already so done, Paid the bill and left tipped her 30% so her night could get better.

Ordered 2 dozen rolls to go. They only let you order through the app. In half hour increments. Other Texas RH will let you order rolls on the fly. They don’t answer the phone. I go up to the window, I see rolls waiting, they say I have to wait another 12 minutes before I can pick up my order. When I go at the specific time, not ready. Took an extra 10 minutes. Sad. More automated experience made a worse experience. I can understand waiting 40 minutes or more for food. But just some rolls…. Nah. Rolls weren’t even hot.
