Opinions de Tapiñas Terrassa
This is our third or fourth time here, and we've always had excellent food. This time we ordered a set menu for a group. We had the autumn salad, which was delicious but small. I should mention that ordering a salad doesn't mean you want to go hungry, because in most restaurants the salads are quite meager, especially when they're part of set menus. I don't understand why, because the other first courses we ordered—cannelloni, trinxat, fideuà, creamy rice, artichoke chips—were generous portions, but the salad was very small. The trinxat was delicious. For our main course, we had grilled tuna with caramelized onions, which was excellent, and the salmon was also very good. The service was attentive and quick, making sure we had enough drinks and bread. We were seated in a very pleasant private room.
I want to thank Mr. Ángel and his entire team for the excellent coordination and service. A group of 40 people, including children, went to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday at the Tapiñas restaurant in Terrassa, and everything went perfectly. The service was excellent, and the food was exquisite. Thank you for making it so easy and for helping us enjoy such a special day.
It was a very special day, it was the wedding of some very important people for my husband and I and the magic touch was given by the place with the attention of the team and how delicious it was from the appetizers to the dessert... Generous quantities, very good quality and the same goes for the drinks... Congratulations Luis for your attention in the room, a 10!
A cozy place with flavors that exceeded our expectations. The food was exquisite and the service first-rate. Everything was perfect: well-served dishes, authentic flavors, and friendly service from everyone. I would go back without hesitation. My wedding was here, and I'm leaving feeling happy and eager to return.
We looked for a restaurant in the area, and because of the time, we chose this one. The menu was a bit pricey, but the quality was well worth it. The cannelloni was very good, the sausage tender, grilled, and the lamb ribs were quality and cooked to perfection. The macaroni for the kid was the perfect amount. A 10/10 tiramisu and a coulant with a good bitter taste. The price was fully offset by the peacefulness of the place, very pretty, and the children's room with toys. I recommend it if you want to experience the old-fashioned restaurant.
This is one of those restaurants you always go to and eat well. This is my second visit, and I can't fault it at all. Perhaps if I had to fault it, it would be the slightly small portion of the cheesecake and the noise in the large dining room. It's so big that it fits a lot of people, and that's noticeable in the ambient noise. Holiday menu is €27.50, with a drink and dessert. The truth is, we ate very well. The service was very good.
very tasty menu, though a bit pricey but service and ambient justifies it.
Bon restaurant. Ambient tranquil i familiar.
Precio: ( 97,80€ ) Hemos comida 3 personas a menu + 2 emtrenates aparte.
The food is delicious, but if you order from the set menu, the portions are very limited and I think a bit small. The service, while adequate, doesn't seem very happy, or perhaps they're just following instructions but struggle to even crack a smile.
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Friendly and fast service. More than reasonable wait times between courses. Acceptable distance between tables. And above all, the food was exquisite! The patatas bravas and the secreto with pepper and mushroom sauce were outstanding—mmmm, delicious! EDITED: Prices have gone up a lot and the quality of service has gone down. We waited a long time without seeing a waiter, and even to pay, we had to wait a long time. The food is still good, but it's not spectacular.
The food was subpar. I ordered fideuà (bland and with almost no filling) and we had to order the aioli as well. The ribeye steak as a main course (a €6 supplement) was medium-rare, but it was overcooked and turned out to be a thick entrecote. The impression is that it tries to be better than it is and is resting on the laurels of a past when it was better. There were other better dishes, but my overall experience was poor.
We ate quite nice in that place. Service and food was good.
Very friendly and helpful waiters. Too much noise even though it's because there are a lot of people, the place is beautiful, that's why. This year the Christmas menu was weak, it wasn't up to the price. Very attentive with the gluten-free issue.
The place itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated. We chose the weekend menu for €28.90. Some dishes met expectations, but others didn't. The fideua was inedible, the rice was too strong, the salad was still looking for the mango that the menu says it should have, the cheesecake was tough, the French toast was bad, a shame. The service: We were served politely, but it was a disaster. We had to ask for things like water up to three times, there were no coffees that they later charged for, the wrong dishes, etc. I mentioned this to the waitress who served us the most, and she told us they were short on people and that they were somewhat overwhelmed. But of course, that's not my problem. If the menu, which costs almost €30, isn't correct and the service is terrible, then one gets annoyed. To compensate, they offered us some shots. 😁 Obviously, I don't recommend the place, nor will we return.
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was not satisfactory. Upon arrival, we had to wait a considerable amount of time to be served, as there were only two waiters handling all the service. This created an unnecessary line, even though the restaurant was not full. The food was unremarkable; it lacked flavor and fell short of expectations. While the staff was friendly, the service failed to compensate for the shortcomings in the organization or quality of the dishes. Overall, it's not a place I would return to or recommend.
We went for dinner. It has a great name, but the food was terrible... We already knew it wasn't cheap, but I expected better. The eggplant chips left a lot to be desired, and I'm not even going to mention the steak tartare... it was like pâté, very mushy and unappetizing. The ribs were more of the same: small amounts and not tasty at all. Judge the other dishes by the photos. I won't be back.
I'm giving it 1 star because otherwise it won't let me publish the review… otherwise it would be a 0. I went for dinner with my partner, and the experience was terrible and shameful. This restaurant had its heyday, and you had to book to get in. The food was good and plentiful; it was a good go-to place in the city. But over the years it has declined so much that we won't be going back. We felt ripped off and cheated. The €28.95 set menu for two included: 1 croquette per person, two slices of patatas bravas each, two shots of fideuà broth (which, by the way, wasn't homemade), bread with tomato (which wasn't even included in the set menu), a mini plate of artichoke chips, which were just breaded artichoke crumbs tasting like fried oil…, two mini toasts with escalivada (basically two strips of pepper and one of eggplant…), and a small plate of fideuà (not freshly made). Of course, two bites each of tuna with teriyaki and sesame, a dessert-sized plate of breaded cuttlefish fried in oil that tasted like oil… thank goodness for the mustard, which helped mask the dirty oil taste. To finish, a pork rib taco, from the fifth range, which, when heated or defrosted, was frozen solid inside. We opened it to check the temperature and complained that it was cold. They reheated it and gave it to us with the pieces we had broken off—shameful… we didn't even eat it because it was repulsive to look at. And to top it all off, dessert: one of those crema catalana made with a powder mix that feels gritty in the mouth, and a lump of industrial tiramisu… and a black coffee. Almost €65 for two people for this festival of ultra-processed, fifth-range food, meager and poorly presented. Now we understand why there were only four tables, and no reservation was even necessary. We understand that nowadays there is a lot of competition in the sector. And while many new restaurants with excellent offerings have opened, making it difficult to stay competitive, this is undoubtedly the worst way to retain customers. It's a shame to deceive diners like this, knowing you're serving a menu that costs less than €5. It's better to focus on improving the menu, the quality of the ingredients, and updating the menu to reflect the price. Because yesterday, they ripped off a couple hoping for a good meal or a pleasant experience... and we left with that feeling of being laughed at and having to lower our heads! We were almost ready to get up and leave after the second course, but they told us it was a 10-course meal and that things would get better... oh my god... not better, but definitely more infuriating. I hope this honest review helps. Thanks to Tapiñas Carne for deceiving their customer.
We went to celebrate a 60th birthday, a very special occasion, and the experience at this restaurant was disastrous. Despite the name and reputation it appears to have, the reality was quite different: unprofessionalism, terrible service, and nothing that lived up to their promises. The staff showed zero sensitivity, were inattentive to our order, tried to overcharge us, and never cared whether we were comfortable. In addition to being rude, the organization was conspicuously lacking, and the food left a lot to be desired. In short, a place I would never recommend and never intend to return to. Very disappointing.
