I grew up in Northeast Texas, not far from Texarkana and Shreveport. When I come to visit family, I’ve grown accustomed to rewarding myself after the long drive from Michigan with “The Mighty Crab!” This place is so authentic and so rare! I’ve been to 35 countries on five continents and I’ve lived in 11 states. I know well there are certain foods that are unique to certain regions. I know when one goes to such regions, they should most certainly take advantage of the food that is well done about their only. If you try Cajun food in the North, you understand. 🤨 my experience with Cajun food outside of this region has been ever disappointing! Well, if you’re coming through Texarkana, you should certainly stop at “The Mighty Crab!” If you’re a self proclaimed food snob and super uptight, skip it. You probably won’t like it! Don’t ruin the vibe and atmosphere. But, if you appreciate a southern accent and true southern Cajun Food, then don’t miss it! You’ll love it! RICKARA and all the other servers have that have assisted me the last few years always exceed expectations! They opened at 11. But we landed in town after driving through the Night this morning. I was here at 10:50 AM. They open the doors and let me order right away. 😀 I always come in forgetting what I ordered last time. They always help me get back to what I loved last time. And they always give me a bag of ice with my leftovers. It gets my leftovers to my parent’s house about 45 minutes away. I give this place five star plus! It’s a unique experience for those who get it! And I do! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

You not only get great food and great service but having your meal cooked in a great big balloon type bag and dumping it out onto your plate just makes it an experience as well as a meal. The atmosphere is great. You have floating fish sharks, kelp and great wall decorations all representing the ocean life, it's a festive atmosphere, a very large bar that makes wonderful drinks and is abundant with their beer. I still consider this a family atmosphere and well worth the money. For the cost of anything, it's not high-priced, but it's not cheap either. Be prepared for one meal to cost around 25 to $30, including your drink. That is, if your drink is not alcoholic.

Our server; Bibb I think?was so sweet and so amazing throughout or meal. He even helped us with our little one giving him crackers and entertaining him. He gave us some advice and compliments the whole time. I don’t usually leave reviews but he was 10/10. I would definitely have him as my server again. We got the 1lbs crawfish boil and the fried fish plate. Everything was amazing and so well cooked and seasoned.

We recently dined at the Mighty Crab and had an incredible experience. We started with steamed oysters with mighty special sauce as an appetizer, which were delicious. For the main course, we enjoyed a feast of lobster tail, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn, all seasoned with the Mighty Special Sauce at the hot heat level(for me “hot” had the perfect amount of spice with just a little heat). The flavors were bold, and the heat added just the right kick. To top it off, we sipped on perfectly mixed Long Island Iced Teas that complemented the meal beautifully. The food was fantastic, and the service was just as impressive. Highly recommend!

Very good food! We had the calamari, 2 lobster tails and catfish. Great service (our server was Kris) ... running his hiney off, always with a smile on his face. I would have given 5 stars across the board, but it was pretty warm and made me sleepy (which is not good, since I have more driving to do today!) Thank you for a good meal!!

I was there last night and my food was warm and not hot the butter I ordered on the side was cold. There was barley any seasoning on my food so it was partially dry and I told the manager she went and got me more but Its something about going at night the food is not good. When I go in the daytime my food hot and good with plenty juice. I will never go at night again that's the reason I had stopped going because it was good. So I tried it in the daytime it was real good but last night I was very disappointed

I just moved from Florida. I eat crab very often. Me and 20 of my friends and family came here for my birthday. I got a pound of snow crab and the sides. I got 1 CLUSTER!! this is obviously not a pound of crab. I told the waitress she said yea we have been hearing this all day. If you know you are ripping people off then you are stealing from me!! The food was pretty good but I do not recommend going here unless you don't mind getting robbed!!

Dre was our waitress and the service SUCKED!!!! She forgot some of the order. Then she disappeared for about 45 minutes. She fell going into the kitchen. Then she finally returns and tell us that the system is down and you can only leave if you pay with cash. Then she proceeded to say that our ticket would be hand written and then we could pay using Cash App. We never got our ticket. We asked another lady who said she was manager to get our ticket. She never did, then finally we were told that we could go to the register to pay. We get there and they asked for our ticket, which we didn’t have. Then the lady behind the register threw my friend money at her. 2/10. Will never return

Just don't do it. We were there 3.5 hours. They brought water for an 18 people group 4 drinks at a time and took 10 minutes in between trips. Some of the group got their food a full hour after others. One people got the rest of their order as we were prepared to left. The POS system then crashed and we were held hostage for over an hour and 15 minutes. We told them how to calculate the tickets by hand which they didn't understand. They finally figured it out and calculated it wrong. I paid the correct amount even though they cheated themselves. After all this they said sorry about everything. Never again.

There were two ladies at the to-go area and one was sweet and had a good attitude. I believe Melonie T was the dark skin lady and if so, she does not need to be working in customer service. She has the most disgusting attitude and surely it’s not just a “ bad day “ because she’s like this everytime I come here. Smh.
