This was one of the best buffets we've visited during our (regular) travels to the USA. Nice people, good price and a great variety of different food items, all of which were well prepared and tasted very good. My favorite? The stuffed mushrooms and the wontons!

Wide selection! Many kinds of sushi! Try the cheesy seafood salad! We LOVE this place! The prices have gone up-so that's a bummer-so get your money's worth!

We were visiting family and they treated us to dinner. This is one of the best buffets we've eaten at in a long time. Everything was fresh and the food bins were full. There was so much to choose so take a little bit of everything. Absolutely everything we ate was good! Next time we're in texarkana we will visit again. Staff were so nice with our many questions and our waitress Margarita was just fantastic!!

Decided to give this place a second chance after having a bad experience from the last time we gave them a try a few years ago. I was hesitant at first but after walking the whole buffet and checking it out I was not disappointed. The food was hot and fresh, the sushi was way better this go round then the last time. The staff was friendly, and gave great customer service.

LET ME JUST SAY, I've been to A LOT of buffets in my life. I love to eat but I have a picky taste. Me and my partner were looking online for a good place to go when this buffet caught our eye. I honestly just wanted some Mac n cheese so when I saw they had it, I IMMEDIATELY jumped up and got ready. Well fellas, they have A LOT more than Mac n cheese. They have octopus, salmon, clams, crab, crawfish, your classic egg drop soup, and much more. I will say, it's expensive but it's expensive for a reason! Bout 40$ for 2 adults with drinks. They replace the food often, not when it runs out, when it's ready to be replaced. The food tastes AMAZING. Like real effort and time went into it! This all isn't even mentioning how nice it is on the inside. You pay for you and your partner to eat and then head to another area where you present your ticket to another host who seats you. The tables are clean, the seats comfortable, and the lighting is pleasant! Please, come eat here. If you have money and you're feeling HUNGRY, PLEASE eat here. I can't stress just how amazing this place was 🤌✨ P.S. there's a bar. 🫶

Good people, the four and five stars are accurate this place is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me it's a weekend with the friends or a casual date night with a lady friend. They have a lot and different type of dishes hot and warm to eat. The waitresses are really nice and I will admit that I'm not a tipper but for here I do. Weekend Prices are high but worth it, I hope you enjoy the cuisine there and have a nice time. P.S And please people I know times are hard but please respect the workers. THANK YOU

We had a birthday party there they had a wait staff dedicated to our party of 12. They let me decorate early and were pleasant and helpful for all the people that hadn't been there before.

They have the best sushi and also the different combination of other dishes is incredible. We have always had the best service.

Be prepared to spend $50 on 2 adults, 1 child for Saturday evening buffet. Same things on buffet during week, don't blame them for their $10 increase in prices for weekend partitioner, however, we weren't expecting $60 with tip included..... we'll just be sure to not visit during the weekend or supper hours, no biggie. Their sushi was on point, buffet on point. We really do enjoy eating here.

Went here for lunch with family on a Saturday afternoon. Cost about $17 not including drinks but they had an awesome variety of seafood on their buffet. Desserts were also very good and they had sushi and raw oysters on the half shell. So for the $17 you got good food. And all we drank was water and the waitress was refilling our Waters as soon as we took a sip LOL.

The food was awesome the sushi's fresh, great selections lots to choose from, the place is clean, several different kinds of shrimp, on the weekend they even have oysters, great experience, no waiting plenty of seating in the even serve drinks here and you can also just pick your specific meal like sweet and sour chicken meal or something and not have buffet so Taylor it to yourself.

Saturday night buffet is awesome. Crab legs are great. Very good noodles, sushi bar was the best. I seen them cutting the sushi fresh so i knew it was going to be good. The crawfish was my favorite!!! The chocolate icecream was very very rich, idk what brand it was but it was really good! And there was some dessert in a little cup on the dessert bar, not sure what it was but it was so good. Taste like toffee or hazelnut coffee!!!!! Very delicious! Very clean environment, you have to wear a mask while getting food and use provided gloves to handle the utensils while getting your food which is very smart. I wish all buffets did that. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Very delicious and the food seemed fresh I loved the seafood casserole, despite it not being real crab in it it was very good 😋 I was a little hesitant on eating the cooked tiny octopus but I did and it was very delicious. The only issue I had was with the pizza the dough was kind of raw and tasted like donut dough but I guess that's what you get for eating pizza at a Chinese restaurant lol Overall it was a really great dining experience I would definitely go again Apparently editing your review makes it to where it appears as if you went the day you edited it. The best Japanese restaurant around hands down. The only thing they need to do is update their buffet schedule prices on their website, the drinks r pricey but is worth the cost for all u can eat at a buffet.

Came in at 3pm. Expecting the food to be bla because it was after lunch and before dinner. Everything was on point. Nothing dried out or tough. Im definitely coming back when I pass through. Adult was $21 and kid $11

The employees were so friendly and attentive. I was quite impressed with the variety of foods available to choose from in the buffet. This is one of those restaurants where you can either be "adventurous" and try new things, or "play it safe" and rely on foods you're familiar and comfortable with. Either way, if you leave unsatisfied, it is most certainly not because the food or selection is inadequate. It is a bit expensive, but the price is actually well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're really hungry and want to treat yourself.

Really neat, clean place. The staff was really nice. My only complaint is that several of the dishes tasted so off that we didn't take more than one bite. All of the sushi was fantastic!

The food quality has dramatically reduced. The salmon and crab Rangoon used to be fresher and not so dry. I miss the all-you-can-eat crab legs. The service and atmosphere were superb!

She served all of the tables around us before we got her attention to explain that our drinks were wrong. I tried to explain to her that the Coke was mostly carbonated water and she argued that it was a real coke and not a diet coke. I asked for Sprite and she seemed aggravated. I probably won't be back for a while.

We got to The One at 5pm and all the food was fresh and delicious! The sushi was really good. Everything we ate was so good! I went back 3 times and tried different things each time and all the things I ate was really up to par. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they ate. I will be coming back soon!! Nice place with a variety of Asian food and a few traditional American fare items (Mac and cheese, french fries, salad, etc.). The food was fresh and tasted good. The service was good and there was plenty of seating. They have several buffets with sushi, meat, vegetarian, fruit, and sweets. It is a good place to take a picky family where everyone can get something they want.

This place was an okay Asian buffet during our road-trip. We stopped here for dinner, and got seated within minute as the restaurant wasn't busy that weekday evening. There's about 3 aisles worth of food, sushi station, salads, and fruits displayed. Deserts also included. The price was decent, and included drinks. Staff was present, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and clean to eat. The seating areas were comfortable. I give The One Buffet a thumbs up.

The food was ok, a little greasy. The catfish was good, the egg rolls were not. 1 would think that would be vice versa. After radiation treatments I do not have a good appetite so the stink of the restaurant made it almost impossible for me to eat.smells like backed up sewage. Their customer service is terrible, the 2 ladies that worked in our area were angry, I don't speak Chinese but could tell they were grumbling about something. You could tell they didn't even want us there..they had a bucket of filthy water they was smearing around on the tables to supposedly clean then with, as one of the other reviews says, do they not have a health department in texarkana..not going back for sure..

The One Buffet has slipped into the rank of exceptionally mediocre Asian buffet cuisine. What was once an exceptional buffet taste experience has disappeared. The One is probably implementing changes due to a bleak break-even cost analysis. These money saving changes have every buffet dish served taste the same.

Not bad. Service was good. Sushi was bland. Fruits were out of season, thus they were not sweet, but tasteless. Crab legs were bland with no butter to help them. Ice cream is in tubs in a freezer and almost melted due to the children self serving and not closing the doors afterwards. Other than that, nice ambiance. Quiet dining.

There is a great variety of Asian dishes to choose from the buffet. Keep in mind there is a surcharge for service which is minimal at best. We had a difficult time getting ordinary service and although the hostess was friendly, they did not seem to realize that the people who have not been there before might need some guidance on how the restaurant operates. The sushi is low quality with rice being the largest part of food. The dishes are mostly fried and not super healthy, the salad bar seemed to be a healthier option although 13.95 plus the $3.00 service charge with tax, does not seem reasonable for lunch. The sautéed mushrooms and baked mussels were notable. This was most likely a 1-time visit for us. Restaurant was cold on a cold day, and they took our receipt and never returned it to us.

It was a weird set up, usually for buffets you pay once you are done with the meal, but here you pay before you're seated. It was my first visit there and I probably won't go back mainly because it's 6hrs away from me. Short and sweet the food was mediocre, it's sustenance. I personally don't care for it.

I called this Restaurant today (8-10-2025) to see if they still serve crab legs. They do NOT. The woman I spoke to told me they stopped serving crabs legs when COVID hit. But yet they still show pictures of crabs legs on their web site. That's why I called. I sure am glad I called first. I would have been really disappointed.

Okay so this place has a wide selection of food which is GREAT by the way. The temperature of the prepared food could be better. Foods normally kept hot need to be hotter and foods normally kept cold need to be colder in my opinion. The ambience is a bit drab. Dessert selection is great for it being a Chinese buffet but the little cakes and treats are a tad dry. Overall this place has a lot of potential. It just seems somewhat wasted. I don't know, not enough staff? I can sense poor ventlation maybe. Is it worth the money? Ill let you be the judge. The sushi was AWESOME though.

Not a bad buffet when you are super hungry. The food overall was pretty good but the crab legs were on ice...who the heck eats cold crab legs? Other varieties of food were mexican and american as well as a desert bar and salad. I would have to say the decor was pretty old and crusty. Most of the booth seats i walked past were cracked and torn with the foam exposed and the general cleanliness was lacking.

The good: the one item I was really impressed with was the Calimari. I have never had such large chunks and it was really good. Many traditional buffet choices. Bad: sushi was a bit sub-par. Very small cuts, no sashimi.

It's not very busy. And the staff is friendly. The selection is nice. But the staff stayed on their cell phones and all the food was cold and dry. And while we were picking through our food. More people arrived. That's when I notice the steam coming up from the trays. They were reheating the food. I hope we don't get sick. I'm disappointed, because I heard such good things about this place.

This is my first time at The One Buffet. The staff is super friendly and kept my drink filled. The food is typical buffet food that any Chinese buffet has. They did keep fresh food on the buffet which some places don't do. I'm just passing thru on my way back to Ohio, but I can definitely see myself eating here again the next time thru Texarkana. Update as of Oct 26, 2024. The first few times I visited the experience was really good. The last couple times I visited the food was not so good. Much of the fried food was old and dried out from sitting way too long. Several of the traditional chicken items were luke warm and not fresh. I doubt that I come back.

Five months ago I ate here with others and it was great. I came in today and oh my it was NOT as good. Some of the foods were cold, others were barely warm. The salt n pepper jumbo shrimp had not been cleaned (not deviened and the shells were not removed either) Who does that?Gross!! And for $16+ with a drink...So Not worth it!!

For costing at dinner time around 38~$ USD, for two people at dinner time with just water, the cost is becoming insufferably higher and higher over time, it's has turned into the go to, not a place to go.. Food quality varies each and everytime, so trying to keep a mindset of "Good Foods To Eat" is impossible.. It's slowly turning into, would much rather spend money on a Sam's club card, and getting what I want there from the freezer section, to get more food per dollar.. Food even at dinner rush is somehow only really just bland and greasy.. I understand American Chinese food is like that, but this is on another level for 38$. Prices are slightly to high for what service they give, Dropping food quality/standards just removes the loyal customers and makes them not want to eat there..

08/04/21 4:10pm I usually eat here by myself on my lunch breaks, mainly because the sushi is great for the price. I’ve been doing this for a year so far. The servers are always friendly and the sushi is always good. However, today there was an older gentleman making the sushi. I was grabbing the usual sushi that I get. It was all fine until I got to the rolls covered with avocado. The gentlemen proceeded to yell at me. I was assuming he was asking if I paid for dinner time. Which I did since it was way past. I couldn’t quite understand him so I was a little confused and tried to ask him to explain it a little better. He proceeded to roll his eyes and shake his head as if he was belittling me or annoyed. I usually don’t care about these things but this time I had to say, it made things quite uncomfortable. Especially since I was the only customer eating inside at the time. I didn’t want to stay as long as I usually do anymore, and it just turned me off from the food. I know my 16$ are insignificant when you see the whole picture, but this will be my last time eating here.

We just got up and left and decided to not even ask for a refund. Wasn't worth the energy, we went and got some McDonald's. The next day, I was on the toilet all day and didn't even eat much of their food. I will never in my life go back here.

We don’t usually leave negative reviews, but the owner's behavior towards my 3 years old son was extremely upsetting. He used a coin-operated machine that ate our money and didn’t release a toy. He was very sad, and despite the owner seeing this, she ignored him. When I asked for a refund, she refused, claiming the machine wasn’t hers. Additionally, the food seemed to have been reused for 2-3 days—it was dry, hard, and unappetizing. My husband only ate one plate and couldn’t continue. While the servers were kind, the owner’s rudeness and the poor food quality made our experience very disappointing. We won’t be returning, and now understand why the reviews are negative.

I travel all the time, and rarely leave a review, but this place was absolutely disgusting, this was lunchtime on a Friday, and the place had a decent amount of customers. The service isn't the issue. The food is not appetizing at all, no flavor, a weird starchy taste to almost everything. I've never complained about Chinese food but for 30+ dollars for 2 people, we each made two plates on our initial trip to the buffet...took one bite of everything to be disappointed. Just left and went to mcdonalds. Completely wasted 30 bucks

Gross. Ate here for supper. Wontons were stale. Soups were at the bottom of their serving pots and thick. Fried rice and noodles were dried out looking, so didn’t touch. Sushi had a weird texture & my daughter spit it out! Egg rolls tasted weird…like they were stuffed with sweet meat. Ice cream was at the bottom of their containers and let’s just say the mint chocolate chip looked grey 🤢. Huge disappointment and a waste of money. Go somewhere else.

DONT DO IT. My last review for them was a four star and It just gets worse as time goes on. It's even more expensive now, but the food hasn't changed. $17.99 for 1 person is severely overpriced. The food was disgusting. Old dried shrimp mixed with fresh. The shrimp wasn't deveined, and was like a piece of leather. The general pso tasted sour, even the after taste was stomach churning. I almost got sick. The lady I was with said hers had grey looking meat (Beef) mixed in with what looked like fresh so she was finished soon after also. After 2 uneatable bites and spitting it back out. I brought it to the waitresses attention. I didn't want it free but after paying and not eating it was a waste of money. Mine not theirs. Waitress just stood there apologizing but that was it. No manager to fix it or anyone. Don't waste your time or money like I did. Paid for lunch but left hungry. Pics attached for proof. Called and I got answered so I proceeded to tell him about my experience and he tells me that there wasn't even a manager on duty a manager until 4:00 which is why no one came to talk to me. Then lied and said they change the food every hour but when I said I watched a guy come out of the kitchen and pour fresh food on whole food he said we're not going to throw away food is that what you want us to do and I said yes especially if it's grey looking when you bite into it and he replied back no way. Rude and unbothered he said I should have told someone there not call so I said I did I told the waitress who took it to the kitchen and I never saw her or anyone else (I.e a manager) and as soon as I said that he hung up on me, while I was still talking because I mentioned how dumb to have a restaurant open with no manager on duty for when things like this happened. Don't waste your money or time. Or go right after they open so you're not getting fresh mixed with Lord knows how old. I can't believe this place is still open. I'd rather eat at the one on Summerhill rd and that's saying alot since I haven't been back in after seeing a roach.

I was very upset I paid 54 dollars for cold food and when I brought it to the attention of the cashier she said since there was still shrimp they would not make a new batch. All the food I had was cold it does not happen all the time but it was enough for me to write a review. When you pay so much you expect to have a hot meal and if a customer tells you food is cold it should be addressed.

Me and my boyfriend came here for the first time for dinner tonight. We were not greeted, it cost $50 for two of us, and we set our things down to go get food. Nobody told us we needed to take a ticket to the host, and our drinks were not refilled one time. I had to go up and ask for it to be, and the host gave me a half full coke back as some kind of joke. I got up to get more food, and they TOOK MY PURSE AND DUMPED OUR DRINKS. Never coming back here. Save your money, the food was horrible and not fresh especially for a busy Saturday

Pay the $20.99 just one person for buffet at the register go up a carpet ramp wait for a waitress to get the ticket to for your drink. Go get your plate the place smells good when you walk in only good thing food was cold no flavor and no seemed rice good Chinese food is hard to find!!! Would not recommend will not return May reconsider returning if had some way of knowing if the food was going to be hot 🔥 or not. Could have got same service at McDonald's only paid 11.

Ordered 50.00 worth of food to pick up. They decided that they were out of one of my orders and rather than call me they just waited for me to check the bag… when asked why didn’t you call that would have been the better practice. He laughed and said I gave you a credit back… ok so now I have to order a replacement which makes everything else already prepared getting cold. There were 2 more folks in there with messed orders. Will not go there again!!! They charged my card too even though I told them to refund me my money and left the food there.
